Strategic Intentions: Commentary Followed by Interview With Lude Media (Plus Alex)

It must be kept in mind that the employment of powerful and long-range means of destruction in modern warfare and their high technical readiness and speed of action permit the warring sides to mutually destroy in a short time not only single targets and objectives, but also entire elements of troop combat formations – subunits, units, control centers, communications centers; to put rear area bases out of action; and also to destroy large sectors of the lines of communication, with the simultaneous creation of vast zones of contamination, fires, obstructions and inundations. As a result of this the status of troops and the situation as a whole may change rapidly and abruptly.

Marshal A. Grechko, 1975 [i]

There is a widely accepted myth that nuclear weapons are too destructive for practical use. For psychopaths, of course, one cannot have too much death and destruction. So where is the impracticality? Ted Bundy murdered dozens of women and buried them in shallow graves. That’s a lot of work, and a lot of risk, for something that makes no sense. But that’s what psychopaths do. We should not expect it to make sense or sound practical.

The danger of getting caught and executed did not deter Bundy from his course of killing. Bundy loved killing young women. In terms of nations, France and Britain threatened Hitler with war if he invaded Poland, but Hitler invaded Poland anyway. Deterrence failed here, too. In the case of nuclear war, deterrence will also fail.

Nuclear war has something to offer political psychopaths – something that stands deterrence on its head. Psychopaths love killing and hurting people. It is their path to self-affirmation. Consider the People’s dictatorships: North Korea (DPRK), the People’s Republic of China (PRC), Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Cuba, etc. These regimes are sustained by the routine robbing and killing of human beings. Ultimately, all these regimes were born in mass murder and sustained by mass murder – not because mass murder is “practical.” To put it simply, mass murder appeals to them.

Consequently, thermonuclear weapons are a “must have” item for communist regimes. Even a small and impoverished communist regime, like the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, has nuclear weapons. For many decades the leaders of Russia and China have believed that nuclear weapons are the decisive weapons of the next big war. The Chinese communists outwardly pretend that they are not interested in nuclear weapons. They publish books about “unrestricted warfare” – that is, death by a thousand cuts. Yet here we are, suffering from thousands of small communist cuts and we have not fallen. How do you destroy the richest, most advanced country? You better use nuclear weapons. In fact, this is what Soviet experts were saying sixty years ago.

In a volume edited by Marshal of the Soviet Union, V.D. Sokolovskii, we read, “Nuclear strikes by strategic missiles will be of decisive, primary importance to the outcome of a modern war. Massive nuclear blows on the enemy’s strategic nuclear weapons, economy, and system of government control, and the concurrent defeat of his armed forces in military theaters will permit the attainment of the political aims of war much more rapidly than in previous wars.”[ii]

Here is a Soviet military professional telling his subordinates that nuclear war is the most practical war of all. It is very difficult, however, to get Americans or Europeans to agree with this. There have been, in recent decades, two false narratives advanced about nuclear war. These narratives say that the radiation from nuclear weapons will kill everyone on earth, and that the earth will die in a nuclear winter.

According to Dr. Peter Vincent Pry, “Radioactive fallout from a nuclear war could be a major threat to human life, if the nuclear attacks involved groundbursting of warheads. Airburst or low airburst nuclear weapons would pose no or a greatly diminished fallout threat.” In terms of military efficiency, noted Pry, “All U.S. targets … including missile silos, can be most efficiently attacked by airbursting warheads because airbursting maximizes the lethal radius of overpressure and blast effects, the dominant killing mechanisms.” Pry pointed out that bomber fratricide from ground-bursting nukes would not be in the interest of the Russians, whose bombers would be sent to key target areas to finish the job. If the atmosphere above those targets was radioactive the follow-on bomber crews would not survive.[iii]

According to those who have studied the radiation question, there is no scenario in which a nuclear war would produce enough global fallout to kill all life on earth. The movie On the Beach, which portrays a world dying from fallout, is purely fictional. There might be some local areas that are turned into desert, and tens of millions could die of radiation poisoning, but millions more would survive. The problem with nuclear war, in terms of mass death, is the same as that of world war; namely, economic disruption and mass starvation. More people would die worldwide from economic collapse following a nuclear war than would die from heat, blast, or nuclear radiation. According to Cresson Kearney of Oak Ridge National Laboratory, the effects of a nuclear war “would be far from the end of human life on earth. The dangers from nuclear weapons have been distorted and exaggerated, for varied reasons. These exaggerations have become demoralizing myths.”[iv]

Having dispensed with the radiation myth we should also examine the nuclear winter myth, invented by the Russians and passed off on gullible “scientists” who used Soviet climate models in their 1983 TTAPS study.[v] The theory of nuclear winter states that debris and smoke from nuclear strikes would rapidly cool the Earth, making life impossible. The famous television scientist, Carl Sagan, was used to sell nuclear winter to the public; but as Pry observed, “Carl Sagan, who is now better known as a popularizer of science than as a research scientist and whose specialty in any case is astronomy, was … unqualified to make the technical case for nuclear winter.”[vi] But there is more to this story. Russian scientists were instructed by the KGB to give American scientists bogus climate models with which to validate the nuclear winter theory. According to Russian intelligence defector Sergei Tretyakov, “I was told the Soviet scientists knew this theory [nuclear winter] was completely ridiculous.”.[vii]

According to Peter Pry, “Numerous prominent physicists have condemned the scholarship and findings of TTAPS. In testimony before Congress on 10 October 1984, Edward Teller cautioned that nuclear winter ‘is an unwarranted exaggeration … [as] such predictions have proved false in connection with fallout and the depletion of the ozone layer which have been well publicized and discussed in the past.’”[viii]

Nuclear weapons are powerful bombs. They can be used rationally, to destroy military targets. They have already been used against two cities in Japan. Moscow’s active measures regarding nuclear war have been extremely effective. The entire population has been indoctrinated to think that nuclear weapons can only be used for deterrence, that mass use of nuclear weapons would lead to the extinction of all life on Earth. Imagining from this that a large nuclear arsenal is unnecessary, the United States has allowed its nuclear arsenal to rot. The same can be said for British and French nuclear arsenals. All rotten.

Once upon a time there was “deterrence.” But now our deterrence has been compromised. And none of our leaders seem to understand what has happened. Our present leaders are people who believe in universal peace and equality, social justice, and global warming. Deep down they are suspicious of those who feel threatened by communist states. In their view, America was the main aggressor and threat to peace during the Cold War – not the Soviet Union.

As I write these words, Soviet Marshal Grechko’s decrepit epigones are building the rockets and warheads needed to change the “situation as a whole … rapidly and abruptly.” They are degenerate thieves, of course; yet they have missiles that work, and modernized nuclear weapons. If they can get their act together, they will try their hand at nuclear blackmail. Failing this, they can always use the weapons and eliminate us outright.

Why not?

The Russian invasion of Ukraine, and Chinese preparations for war against the United States, are clearly in evidence. Once the Russians and Chinese have traveled down the path of military mobilization what else can they do? Their economic commitment to war might already be past the point of no return. Of course, all normal people would agree that nuclear world war is insane. From the standpoint of the weapons themselves, those who deny the efficacy of the weapons are insane.

Last weekend we saw a live fire exercise where 120 Iranian ballistic missiles were launched against a country aligned with the United States (i.e., Israel). Of course, this was a test of Western interception capabilities and Iranian missile accuracy. It was a very expensive test, costing more than a billion U.S. dollars. To explain further: Ballistic missiles with conventional warheads are silly. The blast radius is too small relative to the expense. The game-changer in rocketry comes when you put a nuclear warhead on a ballistic missile. This is what Russia, China, and North Korea have done, and this is what Iran is working towards.

It should be mentioned, as well, that live fire missile tests are also being carried out by Russia against Ukraine. Again, these are very expensive and not terribly effective attacks. Yet these attacks allow Russian rocket troops to improve their aim. Because of the Ukraine War, Russia has acquired battlefield missile veterancy by using ballistic missiles in combat.

To underscore the point more directly: Ballistic missiles are ideal for carrying nuclear warheads. For every ballistic missile there must be a nuclear warhead. The Iranians wanted to know how many warheads would reach targets in Israel. Was it 5 out of 120? The Iranians are going back to the drawing board. At the same time, many observers are puzzled at Russia’s persistence in the Ukraine War. They are puzzled at the ongoing low quality of the Russian troops. But they should not be puzzled. The quality of the troops does not matter once nuclear bombs are used. It is much better to sacrifice low-quality troops than high-quality troops when war shifts into nuclear high gear.

With these observations in front, I present my most recent interview with Mr. D. Wang of Lude Media, who speaks of Chinese and Russian war preparations.

Interview With Lude Media: China Prepares

JRN: Is there anything new in the Chinese Communist Party’s strategy? Are we seeing what you expected to see in terms of continued Chinese harassment of Taiwan and the Philippines?

LUDE: Regarding Taiwan, we must emphasize the importance of the subversion plan in defeating an U.S. Marine intervention. The CCP seeks an opportunity for a sudden attack. Without such an opportunity they will not attack. If they do a big hit, then the hit must be effective. They are currently building undersea traps to lure American nuclear submarines and other ships into the seas around Taiwan.

JRN: Does the large earthquake hitting Taiwan make China’s strategy against Taiwan easier?

LUDE: Actually, the CCP studies the earthquake zone around Taiwan. They would like to cause an artificial earthquake if they could. What they want, most of all, is to break the communications links between Taiwan and the outside world. If they can impair the undersea cable, then the subversive forces within Taiwan can say that Taiwan has to negotiate a deal with the mainland government. Then the outside world will have no time to react. Everything in this situation depends on Taiwan’s police and military forces. Are they functioning properly? Have they been subverted? If these are functioning properly, CCP subversion will be difficult.

JRN: How is Chinese President Xi’s health? I understand he has high blood pressure.

LUDE: Xi does indeed have high blood pressure, and it is a problem. Last March, before he went to Russia, he had a minor surgery. I must emphasize that when a CCP leader is sick, they have a special team to maintain that leader’s health at all costs. Xi feels he can maintain control for twenty years. I believe we cannot count on internal subversion of the CCP ruling group. It has a strong hold and there is no viable opposition.

JRN: Do you have any intelligence on China’s view of the Ukraine War?

LUDE: My information is that Xi’s CCP is already in a high-level alliance with Russia. It is almost at a military level. The CCP has not only offered support to Russia, but they are tasking the China CCP battle system to share data with Moscow. They are quickly upgrading and optimizing their weapon systems. In terms of practical applications, they are looking at the Ukraine War in terms of a future war against the West.

JRN: So, the CCP views the Ukraine War as a kind of laboratory for developing new tactics, systems, and strategies?

LUDE: Yes. The CCP’s recent history shows that they have not engaged in a large-scale military operation since the 1970s, so they need to learn. They also need opportunities to test new weapon systems. When they formed this alliance with Russia, they saw it as an opportunity. In the Spanish Civil War everyone tested new weapons. Ukraine is very much like this. Before the West learned that Russia would attack Ukraine, we knew in advance that an invasion would occur. The CCP has insisted that the war will take years, and will serve as a laboratory for weapons testing.

JRN: Does the CCP leadership expect Russia to win the Ukraine War? And do they have any projections as to when or how the war will end?

LUDE: They think Russia will win, but they are focused on the political fallout of this win. The longer the war takes, the more likely it will cause political instability inside the United States, and they would like to exploit this political instability if they can. The analogy here is the Vietnam War. The idea is to make the U.S. back down over a period of time. If you want an estimate, they think the war will last at least five years.

JRN: What do they think of Russia mobilizing 14 new divisions and 16 new brigades by the end of this year?

LUDE: I have no information about this, but I should comment. First, the West can only prepare based on what is on the table. You also must consider what is under the table. Remember what the Russians did during the Battle of Stalingrad. They mobilized their reserve and prepared an offensive the power of which nobody suspected. We should expect that Russia and China are carrying out secret mobilizations. With regard to war preparations, we must always overestimate and never underestimate. This is what we learned from the May 2022 Guangdong recording. We have information that the Chinese mobilizations discussed at that time have already been carried out. Secondly, the war in Ukraine will be prolonged for the sake of further mobilizations, especially as Russia and China transform their economic systems – shifting to war economies.

JRN: Does the war in Ukraine serve as a kind of camouflage for more advanced Russian and Chinese war preparations?

LUDE: The war camouflages their ace card. This is their special advantage. They have a successful history in terms of hiding their next move. Consider what happened to the U.S. First Marine Division in the Korean War when the Marines encountered the Chinese Volunteer Army in 1950. The point of such a sudden attack is to inflict fear, to exploit psychological weakness. This is the point. This is how the Soviets defeated and demoralized the German Army in the Second World War. The Germans lost their mobilization ability, even as they saw such large Soviet mobilizations. This psychologically defeated the German side. It persuaded many that the Germans could not win the war. It is important to win a war by coming up with unexpected reserves of strength.

JRN: An FSB analyst has sent letters to Russian dissidents in Paris. These FSB letters alleged that China was asking Russia to join in an attack against Japan. Have you heard about an operation of this kind from your Chinese sources?

LUDE: War between China and Japan is almost inevitable. China will begin this fight when the opportunity presents itself. If you are going to dominate East Asia, Japan is a Western stronghold that must be broken down. So, Japan must be confronted by the CCP at some time in the future. Therefore, the CCP prepares the internal hate of the Chinese people against Japan. And another thing is that the CCP military forces are aligned with Russia in the Far East so as to attack through the Sea of Japan. The weak point of the Western alliance is the Japanese Sea. So, they are preparing traps there in advance.

JRN: The most disturbing thing about the FSB letters was that the Kremlin wanted FSB economic analysts to determine whether the Russian economy could survive if every major Western economic center was destroyed by meteors from space. One does not need much imagination to realize what the analysts were being asked. Has there been similar inquiries by the CCP leadership?

LUDE: To answer this we need two things. I did not hear anything about this from the CCP side. Secondly, I do not believe China has the ability to initiate a nuclear attack. The CCP’s strong point is their unrestricted warfare and their infiltrators. Their best strike force is their biological warfare. Regarding Chinese nuclear forces, there is a question-mark. Russia has strong nuclear forces. China may not have such strong nuclear forces. Talking about economics, the CCP has done analysis as to whether they can function economically during a war. The answer is yes. They do discuss their economic independence. They think climate change is benefitting their alliance. In the Far East of Russia, for example, the climate is becoming warmer. And that means Siberia has a greater potential for exploitation.

JRN: From what I have observed, Russian solar scientists appear to believe in global cooling. There was a meeting of Chinese and Russian scientists about this in 2018. They were very guarded about their deliberations. Have you heard anything about this?

LUDE: I believe this is propaganda. Global warming benefits Russia and the CCP. If global warming opens the Arctic Sea route, they both stand to gain. We have to understand that global warming can be caused by carbon emissions. They do not want carbon emissions controlled.

JRN: On reading the book, Unrestricted Warfare by colonels Qiao and Wang, I noticed they were advancing a strong CCP disinformation narrative; namely, that nuclear weapons are obsolete and China has no interest in building them. But now we find that China is building nuclear weapons rapidly, so that China may overtake the U.S. in the next two years. What do you say to this?

LUDE: Of course, the CCP is rapidly developing nuclear power and weapons. They do not expect to use nuclear weapons because their true purpose is to employ unrestricted warfare. Basically, you cannot respond to attacks which are deniable. China is, for example, working on a dirty bomb. They try and use low-level nuclear weapons for disruption purposes.

JRN: Many analysts here in the West are concerned about Chinese young men of military age crossing the U.S. border illegally. Is the CCP placing special forces in the U.S. secretly? Are they doing this in preparation for a future war, or is it merely in preparation for sabotage operations?

LUDE: I have talked about this since January 2023. The CCP is trying to infiltrate 250,000 military personnel into the United States. They want these people in place when the war begins – to attack water systems and military bases.

JRN: How many of these 250,000 military personnel sent to the United States as infiltrators are expected to remain loyal to the CC? If they are left here too long, won’t they be corrupted by the American way of life?

LUDE: If you betray China, you get serious punishment. First, they control who gets out of China and who goes to America. They have hostages back in China. If they smell any betrayal, you can suffer the effects of Party discipline. So, under such a strict system, it is very hard to break free. The entire operation to infiltrate America with troops is carefully organized. It is organized around a kind of Ho Chi Minh Trail for China, as in the Vietnam War. This Ho Chi Minh Trail runs through Mexico to the U.S. border.

JRN: Don’t the Chinese strategists worry about Chinese defectors from the 250,000 going over to the Americans and exposing the entire plan? What makes them so confident and bold as to try something so dangerous?

LUDE: First, 250,000 is a large number. Think of various cities in the United States. They have batch after batch of troops infiltrating America’s southern border. These troops will not show themselves openly in the USA. So, the Americans will not notice. Their mission is to force the U.S. to lose control over its own society. As long as government control is broken, the dollar system will be crushed. The key thing is to create chaos on U.S. soil. Unless you defeat the dollar system, which backs up the American military, you have no chance.

To support Mr Wang’s statements on Chinese internal sabotages against the US, we just had a massive cyberattack against the US on this week. It was against our 911 critical infrastructures. They’re testing us before preparing a major war against Taiwan.

About Ho Chi Minh trails, I had an opportunity to talk with South Vietnamese veterans who live in Orange County, CA. They talked to me how South Vietnam was infiltrated by Communists of Catholic backgrounds on an insane level. Their lieutenants were chosen based on Catholic backgrounds during Diem era but these Catholics are Northern refugees coming into the South in 1950s. These lieutenants were giving questionable orders to their teams that resulted in high casualties. After the war ended, these lieutenants never attempted to flee Vietnam, and they were promoted into high ranking officials of Vietnam People’s Army!! The corruption in South Vietnam was so widespread that communist infiltrators became high level military generals to take US arsenals to sell them in the black market where NVA/NLF buy all weapons through using drugs money.

These South Vietnamese veterans’ story demonstrate how cunning are the communists at infiltrating religion, using corruption to dominate internal politics, conducting saboteur activities at highest levels. The ongoing Ho Chi Minh trails 2.0 is much more insidious than the previous version where corruption in the US/West institutions is way more magnified, and the complexity of sabotages is way more advanced.

I watched a recent interview via former Navy SEAL Shawn Ryan of former Brigadier General Robert Spalding and USAF B-2 Stealth bomber pilot.

He has quite the pedigree but speaks highly of the book “Unrestricted Warfare”early in the interview as some sort of insight into the Chinese military mindset.
As Jeff has said time and time again, our military leaders and political leaders have no idea of the fact that they are being fooled via propaganda via this book. When will these people realize they are being lied to? For 40+ years?

The main subject of the video is supposed to be about the Tik Tok app. I have posted videos on Jeff’s site via a personal favorite (former military Ryan McBeth) about Tik Tok. Now this.

  5. Jeff, what can you tell us about a Ukrainian strike on a backscatter radar field in Russia.
Isn’t this the exact action prior to western hostilities one would expect.

    1. Prior to a western hostilities? I don’t understand. Are you suggesting the West is going to attack Russia?

      1. No, I am suggesting that the strike, by Ukraine, on an ICBM warning radar field could have the appearance of being initiated by western forces, whether they had anything to do with it or not, and raise the threat level for global strikes precipitously.

        1. Possibly. We shall see.

        2. I do not know if there even was such an attack. Have the Ukrainians admitted to attacking such a site?

      2. “On Wednesday, Ukrainian media reported that Kyiv drones had struck a facility housing a 29B6 Container, an over-the-horizon radar in the Russian republic of Mordovia, citing sources in Ukraine’s military intelligence agency.”

A truly horrifying scenario and increasingly likely as well. In such circumstances my planned trip to Poland in August could become impossible to execute.

However, there is the explanation for our inability confront and resist this threat; Our own breathtaking ignorance, or at least of our leaders, even if they are well meaning.

For example, I popped accidentally on the channel owned by John Anderson where he held a long conversation with this strategic charlatan “professor” John Mearsheimer.

John Anderson is an Australian politician who was a deputy Prime Minister during the pretty successful reign of Prime Minister John Howard. John Anderson is a very honest, conservative and highly intelligent man who is very concerned about the degrading processes taking place within the so called “western civilization” and is trying to conduct his own fight on his channel and from time to time I watch him talking to various fine people.

While watching this particular conversation I was truly terrified by his nearly total lack of preparedness to this discussion and his inability to contradict, let’s alone challenge the half truths and outright lies spewed by Mearsheimer. Unfortunately John Anderson is not the only conservative political personality here in Australia who present the same level of ignorance.

Driven by impulse I wanted to write the letter to him but the recent experience made me hate to write the letters to various prominent Australian personalities knowing too well that they will be ignored.

    Regards – Bogdan

    1. Mearsheimer wrote an interesting book on interwar diplomacy, but he takes the wrong lessons from history — and misreads Russia’s strategic intentions today. Totalitarian states are abnormal formations, capable of grotesque and murderous policies.

I can’t stand his continuation of demonising China as the greatest enemy when forgetting about Russia. He never once considered any communist strategy into the consideration of his research. Ideology is the primary driver towards geopolitical changes. It is dangerous to underrestimate communism.

        1. Mearsheimer is quite conventional. And that often limits a persons understanding.

Interesting and unexpected comment by Lude media about global warming caused by carbon emissions, which is bunk. What do you make of that comment? I guess no source is perfect. Thanks!

    1. Mr. Wang has evidently not followed the issue of climate change carefully enough. The sun is the great driver of climate, as an increase in greenhouse gasses follow solar warming. They do not cause it. The idea that carbon dioxide is warming the planet has not been proved and is almost certainly a confusion of cause and effect. Here we realize the limitations of Mr. Wang. Hopefully he will dig deeper into this question. Russia is accelerating the construction of ice breakers. Why? Surely, they do not believe the warming trend is permanent.

      1. John Conner Avatar
        John Conner

I guess it raises the question, is Mr. Wang passing on real CCP intelligence from an inside source or making his own educated speculations on that intelligence?

        1. It think he believes that greenhouse gas is the cause of global warming. This is a controversial topic, to be sure. Most people in society have been indoctrinated by the greenhouse gas theory. The subject is complicated and most real scientists do not think the theory has been proved. Of course, bureaucratic “state” science is hardly scientific in its many pronouncements. It punishes scientists for disagreeing. This is not science, it is the end of science.

      2. CONCERNED Avatar
        CONCERNED

God is in charge, man-made “changes” are an insult to Him, when men try to even consider them as possible…and when such ideology-driven nonsense becomes the word of the day for many of its followers, the outcome is the more devastating – it fixes on becoming the policy of the state, let alone the mantra of the godless, to which this all nonsense fueled by their atheistic levels of perversion of mind and soul is oriented, the goal is obvious – destruction of the truth and replacing it with the psychological and ideological effect and the aftermath which perverts justice and installs totalitarian autonomy of the state over the truth and justice – this means that when such idiocy as the “global warming” becomes the worldwide opinion and policy of the state, the state does not tolerate any opposing view and therefore neither the truth itself – that God is in charge and men are in no way positioned to alter it in anything, which the state equipped with this kind of global warming audacity rejects.

The truth is simple, the lies of the enemies of the truth are complicated nonsense which only allure those who don’t hold the infinite value of the truth as it must be held – with their reverential unwavering respect and their considerable aid to protect it, at all cost…

But who would listen to this and put it in practice today ? This world is decayed and will be visited with yet worse to come.

In regards to nuclear warfare means in hands of the communist fanatics, the term fanatics should clearly illustrate their manifest intention also…they do NOT value human life as sacred and much less as the gift of God – and so mass destruction of it possess no obstacle nor any softening of their ideological goal as it always has been and will be – these Bolshevik criminals from Russia and China want to conquer and rule the WHOLE world and make it a permanent slave camp and paradise of atheism instead, exterminating in large numbers all those who will (and do) stand in their way, without the slightest scruples of conscience…as where is no God in the soul of wicked evil men, there is also no conscience to fear the consequence of evil inflicted upon the helpless victims of communism.

The bloody history of communism should present this point quite clearly as there are millions if victims of communism who, before their died, would have given up anything for the opportunity to fight the communist fanatics to the death instead of being swallowed up by their Gulags, secret police and tyrannical injustice of the atheistic communist courts….BUT that is not the case today, as the western decadence and decayed misleading understanding of wishful analysis which is so far from the truth leads them into the wrong conclusions and thus to the tragically wrong policies which will prove fatal at the end…it is nearly too late, and for obvious reasons – God is offended, men have betrayed the truth. lies and evil will succeed for a time until those who propose them and further them are visited by God’s wrath (which is all written anyway).

People should listen to Prof. em. Richard Lindzen (* 1940), who is THE authority in the field of atmospheric physics worldwide, rather than this Marxist swindler Al Gore or the myriad of communist campaign organisations like Green Peace or, shame on him, the Marxist “Pope”. Here is a talk Prof. Lindzen gave in 2018:

    2. Lude Media said it was CCP belief about the climate. You and I know that it’s bunk.

There’s another factor that could open the arctic ocean, namely volcanoes. If they become active, as volcanoes do during a climate minimum, that could open the waters even as the rest of the world cools. There are plenty of them in the Arctic.

      1. Of course, we have not seen any serious cooling as yet. This winter was mild and spring is a month early here in the upper midwest.

      2. Jeff, there are some rather abnormal cold temps around the world. Australia, for example, has already seen snow on ski slopes that would not normally be there for a couple more months.

  8. @JRNyquist: Is there more to the Lu De interview? It just seems to break off rather abruptly.

  9. Lude Media mentioned 250,000 troops smuggled into the U.S. Is that Chinese troops only? Or does it include troops from other countries allied with and under the command of the CCP? Does it include troops stationed just outside our borders, ready to march in as soon as the order is given?

If it includes allies under CCP command, they may already be at their 250,000.

    1. These are Chinese troops.

  10. . Mr. Nyquist in reference to:

My friend, there is some reason to believe that your voice has not been an (entirely) unheard voice “crying out in the wilderness”.
According to Newsweek reporter Aila Slisco poll results show many Democrats and “Most Republicans Wrongly Believe Russia Is a Communist Country”. Are these poll results grounds for some small degree of optimism; notwithstanding the fact that many Republicans have been Gorbacharmed by Putin? The calls for Death To America may be premature and (like Mark Twain’s Death …Greatly Exaggerated). Regarding the subject of Chinese flowing across the border, I confirmed (while serving a sentence in federal prison for protesting the last election), they are indeed coming across in notable numbers according to the human traffickers I spoke with. This probably isn’t news for most people here, but when you talk to human traffickers in person, it becomes much more real than just reading about it. The cartels like to target old white men, because they think they fly below the radar with the authorities and many don’t have anything to lose in today’s economic environment. These old white men can get paydays of tens of thousands of dollars and easily make six figures a year and sometimes the cartel gives them younger women (in their 30’s and 40s) to manipulate them into taking on more jobs to pay for their joint lifestyles and for the older men to be able to keep these younger women. Funny thing is, the money some of these guys make goes back indirectly to the cartel, because they buy flats or cars for the younger women in Mexico who are part of the cartel network. If they get caught, they might serve a few months in prison to a couple of years. One guy I talked with only got busted, because he drove through the wrong lane during inclement weather and ended up with an agent that wasn’t the one that was paid off. Yeah, some of our people working the checkpoints are bought off. Sometimes the staff at inland checkpoints “take a break” for a few hours. The national security implications of this are truly disheartening. Since “surge the border” Biden came in, it really has been an undeniable open invasion for anyone that cares to pay attention. Many of us ordinary, non-radical folks with clean backgrounds that come from good families with a long history of service to this country that went to the Capitol to non-violently protest the election feared this would happen if Biden was elected. If you get in contact with a honest and forthcoming law enforcement agent along the border for an interview, they’ll likely tell you encounters and human trafficking is up massively in their particular sector since Biden came in. Trump has many imperfections, and we can speculate whether or not some Russian interests owns him, but the situation on the border during his presidency vs. Biden’s says a lot about who is actually better for preserving this country. How does that one saying go? “No borders, no walls, NO USA AT ALL!”

    1. Thank you for posting this. I have heard similar reports about our border. It’s a grave situation.

We are all hoping that Trump’s comments about Russia are just a tactic for him to separate Russia from China, wich i think is pointless, but he may be using those statements also to gain votes of those who don’t want US interference on ongoing wars. I remember a lot of trump supporters that got out of the “Trump train” when he sent missiles against Syria in 2017
US Presidents on World Wars always promised not to sent troops or participate in european conflicts, but they all ended up doing exactly that.
I have an impression that common folk really don’t care about geopolitics.
That is the only explanation that could make his statements about Ukraine seem reasonable.

    1. Benedict Donald is part of it all. His actions speak louder than words.

    2. Trump was the first U.S. president to send weapons to Ukraine. It was a big step. This argues against him being a Russian stooge. He was also against the gas pipeline from Russia to Germany. Trump does have anti communist instincts.

      1. Only way to win against Communists is to have someone like Eisenhower.

President Eisenhower was the only one who was actively aware of communist domination in the West as well as keeping a cool head to work against them. Trump is too ballistic and explosive to achieve anything meaningful but he can throw the communists off the rails unexpectedly. Like the assassination of General Soleilmani in Iran.

I am stimutaneously believing Trump will win but I am afraid that Biden’s communists will manipulate the elections like the last time.

Almost 12 years ago, on September 25, 2012, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, during an appearance on the Charlie Rose Show, made a stunning comment that was in fact a nuclear threat wrapped in a mystery inside a lie (that of nuclear winter). Here is the exchange as it took place:

Rose: Do you have fears about the Arab Spring? As to what those governments might become?

Lavrov: Well, I think we are now in the Arab Autumn and –

Rose: Okay, do you have fears about the Arab Autumn, and where do you think it’s going?

Lavrov: Well, I hope it’s not going to the Nuclear Winter.

Rose (somewhat taken aback, but reacting extremely clever): What would lead it to a Nuclear Winter? – Iran getting a nuclear weapon, which is not an Arab country? What would lead to the Nuclear Winter?

Lavrov (trying to get away from his weird statement): Ah, this was a figure of speech, of course …

An infamous example of nuclear winter and mutual assured destruction propaganda (some may still remember it) was the 1986 British animated film, When the Wind Blows. It’s still worth watching, though, as it is at the same time, maybe unintentionally, a grim reminder of the total lack of preparedness, then as now, in most countries in terms of effective civil defence (notwithstanding such rare exceptions as Switzerland):

Historically the main weapon of the Russian etc. communists is infiltration and subversion of entire governments and also perversion of the western society as a whole, by materialistic anti-God atheistic propaganda, and then the demoralization, of course, of the targeted population, which serve to disunify the enemy and this to the point that when the communist subversion is nearly complete, the enemy is in fact incapable of resistance and his means of opposing the communist subversion are halted and almost at standstill.

They want to cripple completely the will of the anti-communist resistance to resist, and for that they need their communist assets to enact evil policies of the state, which policies go against right reason and are at some cases even tyrannical, to cause more demoralization and disunity inside the enemy’s camp.

Then of course such a country is ripe for either communist revolution or a civil war, and if that doesn’t materialize, communist attack from Russia and China, not excluding obviously their nuclear decisive obliteration of the enemy’s military and even civilian capabilities and defenses.

And for all this they had to infiltrate the Catholic Church, and the Vatican, and pervert everything in it so that the Church would be forced into the catacombs and almost silenced,
which is their main objective, and as many millions of “Catholics” accepted this new non-Catholic religion, the Divine help and protection has been taken away from them and the blindness to the truth, which is that there was never any true collapse of communism or of the Soviet Bloc at all and that the whole fraud was prepared long ago as part of the Russian communist strategy of Manuilski (in fact Lenin proposed this as all know with that temporal policy they implemented, even Stalin somewhat contributed to that effort, and the main part of that evil strategy came under Khrushchev, as Golitsyn wrote), so then when the Church was not able to warn Her faithful about this danger at that time (the end of 1980s) when these fraudulent KGB organized “revolutions” were commencing in Eastern Europe, the KGB assets inside the FBI and CIA etc. and inside the MI6 and whatever else intelligence services were perverted in Europe and US etc., their seeming “inability” to recognize (and act upon) the imminent danger of the Russian communist subversion of their own governments contributed to the present time status quo, which is truly tragic and will become worse and worse as the evils of the times progress.

Do NOT be dismayed, God is in charge, and these evil atheistic monsters will pay to Him one day so dearly, they will swallow up their tongues in pains so great that they will virtually wish they were never born. But on part of the misbehaving immoral and wicked world, there is no other remedy at this point but to endure the upcoming chastisement, which is the worldwide communist enslavement and tyranny, Moscow at the helm of it.

There is more to be said, but that is solely for those who would listen and have obtained the love of the Truth, otherwise any additional points would be (and are) pointless.

In regards to Mr. Trump, they will most likely drag his case for a while and use it as a major data gathering on their opponents and potential anti-communist resistance, so that those who make themselves too visible in their honest effort to help Mr. Trump, their personal data will be obtained and recorded for the purpose of future political trial and persecution, which is nothing new and in fact a long-standing communist strategy, and very efficient and dangerous indeed. This is also one of the reasons why they had to infiltrate the federal law enforcement and intelligence services, so that the powers of the state are by communist subversion made into a very effective tool of this evil strategy, and the KGB are very patient in it, they don’t mind waiting for more years if necessary, Trump might even get inside the WH, if that will serve their purpose (i.e. to revive their economies for example).

    1. The point about intelligence-gathering on MAGA activists is an important one to keep in mind. Even more important, much of the right has been deceived by disinformation, has been infiltrated by enemy agents, so that nearly everyone is contaminated. The right is led by shallow but plausible people. These are attractive and effectively blind. They are easily led into traps, as they believed the Russian lies of 1989-1991. We saw that after the 2020 election.

It is better to overrestimate the opponents than underrestimate them, as Mr Wang said. The US was overrestimating the USSR for decades that contributed towards the Space Race and many massive advancement in military technologies. We finally go into decline when the Long Deception was executed, and we dropped our guard to allow global communists to totally dominate the world currently.

Mr Nyquist has talked about the nuclear destruction of the West which doesn’t even require hypersonics. The USSR could have easily destroyed us in 1970s as they have deployed tactical nukes across the US and NATO states good enough for actual, strategic nukes to fly over. Yuri Andropov and his KGB/Soviet intelligence factions were not onboard with the World War 3 plan from the Soviet Armed Forces factions. Eventually, we were lucky that Yuri Andropov won in the power struggles to execute the Long Deception. If not, the world would have been regressed about a century due to a nuclear WW3.

I have little faith on Ukrainians doing everything on their own as their successes are currently owed to the shadow intervention of NATO personnels. The only way for Ukraine to win is the deployment of NATO troops but it is impossible due to communist infiltration. Jeff, I recently emailed you hoping you’d interview former Green Beret Michael Yon on what’s been going on South…the Darien Gap. He recently reported about HIAS (one of 9 VOLAGs) who have aided migrants/refugees into the U.S. and once here sign them up on every government freebie program available.

Ann Cochran once reported daily on these VOLAGs over a decade ago via the Muslim insurgence of refugees here…. “Refugee Resettlement and the Hijra to America”. I think she finally threw the towel in after exhausting work that went no where. She was part of your friend Frank Gaffney’s “Center For Security Policy” Press.

Any chance you can reach out to him and talk with him on what is going on? He replied to me that he is indeed aware of your work. Seems you two are on the same side in educating America on the threat we all face.

    1. Isn’t Yan anti Israel and Ukraine?

      1. I have heard that he is. Do not think an interview with him would serve any purpose.

    2. More precisely, Yon is opposed to US involvement in the Ukraine-Russia war. He has also in the last few years become extremely negative on the Israeli government, apparently for two reasons. First because the Israeli government put extreme pressure on the Israeli people to take the COVID shots, which he believes to be a bioweapon (he also has a very negative opinion of Trump for his promotion of the shots). Based on this and probably other reasons, he believes the Israeli government is willfully harming their own people. Second, he has befriended Jews that identify as True Torah Jews. These Jews apparently are ultra-orthodox and believe that God removed the Jews from Israel because of sin. They believe that the establishment of the nation of Israel was done ahead of God’s timing and is therefore causing conflict and will result in disaster. Yon is definitely not antisemitic or pro-Hamas.

Yon tends to operate more at the “tactical recon” level instead of the strategic level. However, he does occasionally have strategic insights. In a recent podcast interview, he spent a few minutes discussing what he called China’s method of “demographic” war. He said that when China starts trying to take over an area, they will start moving Chinese people in – slowly enough to not alarm the population, but steadily.and persistently. He stated that the CCP demands loyalty from all ethnic Chinese and uses secret police etc to enforce that loyalty. When there are sufficient ethnic Chinese located in the area, they cause them to start exerting their influence to change the system from within. He said they successfully did that in both Tibet and Hong Kong and he believes that are using that tactic throughout South and Central America and also the United States and Canada.

      1. Interesting. I followed him on X for a while but he said some pretty outrageous things about Israel and Ukraine and I had to unfollow. He has good information as it relates to Chinese operations in South America and the lower 48 of the US but he is tough to listen to otherwise. He says some very foolish things.

About the new act that will seize Russian assets, it is significant but highlighting how the EU is actually New Soviet Union.

    https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/house-vote-billions-dollars-russian-government-money-sitting-us-banks-rcna148671

“The REPO Act, which would authorize Biden to confiscate the frozen Russian assets in U.S. banks and transfer them to a special fund for Ukraine, is part of the foreign aid package that was stalled for months in the House. More than $6 billion of the $300 billion in frozen Russian assets are sitting in U.S. banks. Most of the $300 billion are in Germany, France and Belgium.”

There is about 6 billion USD of Russian assets in the US but the rest is in Europe. It is absolutely hypocritical how the EU bureaucrats scream so loud about supporting Ukraine but neither of them has even touched Russian assets. Scholz of Germany recently went to Beijing to kowtow at the feet of Xi Jinping. This really supports my suspiscion that the EU never truly wanted to help Ukraine at all.

The Russians have taken years to prepare of taking their assets out of the US but they never thought taking the assets out of Europe. It demonstrates to us how deep Russians control the EU which was a project of Gorbachev, in the first place.

I am really angry that the Biden and his communists don’t even touch the borders. It is far more important than anything so far. Every week or two, we keep hearing certain critical infrastructures keep getting shut down or destroyed – literally by illegals who act as saboteurs.

A few years ago there was an article about “nuclear winter” in a mainstream western physics journal. The authors prefaced it by saying that they knew it had become like a “third rail” in academic politics. They went on with the physics, to conclude that nuclear winter of a sort would occur, but it would be only a few degrees of cooling for a few years. mostly in the North American and Eurasian interiors. Enough to aggravate the post-exchange famine, because seeds, expertise and equipment for growing, say, Canadian crops in Iowa, would be somewhat lacking.

Sagan was a bona fide planetary atmospheres specialist, not only a celebrity scientist, so I’m a little more generous toward him. Long-range weather forecasting, upon which the nuclear winter theory hinges, was harder in Sagan’s time, when computers were slower and formulas not as good. I didn’t know that the Soviets had aggravated this by spreading bogus formulas to western scientists, but I can believe it.

    1. One of the Soviet scientists who spoke freely about the bogus nature of the nuclear winter modeling numbers was kidnapped in Madrid by the Soviets and returned to the USSR. He was never heard from again.

There was a short video of Sen. Joseph McCarthy visiting a US Army base in New Jersey upon allegation that there was a breach of security, regarding this particular base involved in US nuclear warfare research of some sort…don’t know if that video is still available.

But then the hearings and how the democrats smeared McCarthy and tried to discredit him, not willing to understand that he had secret help of the FBI and Hoover with data and reports and so on, about communist ops in the US.

What it means is that Russians know very well that if they don’t penetrate the military powers and law enforcement with communist agents, including possibly GRU and Spetznaz assets, they may run into a serious problems otherwise, and they don’t take these kind of chances at all, and moreover the gathering of the necessary intel and communist espionage would be seriously minimized if they had not succeeded in penetrating these military circles with their agents.

What is the situation today one can only guess, but the safer estimate would be that the communist subversion is at the highest levels ever…because the time of these assets being used for the goal to destroy the enemy, once and for all, is near, so likewise it follows that they wouldn’t leave such loose ends and made sure that they control these places, for several reasons – espionage, intel, and sabotage etc.

Now since they have their asset inside the WH, they don’t need to worry that the nuclear deterrent (response) from the US military would be executed, if the Russian etc. nuclear attack is detected and recognized where it truly came from, so that the damage is done without them incurring the response. Of course they would try to blame it on Iran, or North Korea and such like countries, specially if the nuclear explosions were executed from inside the country (container stored nukes and so on). This is the main danger that is not being addressed, at least not enough. They can make it look like “Islamic terrorism” and get away with it without being seen as the real culprits.

      1. We have had three “stealth socialist” presidents since the Cold War ended: Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, and now Biden. Each one has hired functionaries from the communist movement. These have burrowed deep into all branches of the Federal Government — and into the intelligence services and Justice Department. It is a serious problem that must be tackled at some point.

  30. Your writing style is engaging, made the topic so much more interesting.

    1. Thank you.

  31. Thank you for clarifying the state of affairs regarding nuclear doctrines and capabilities. A quite sobering reading, if you ask me…
Mr Nyquist, I watched your interview with jean robin, and was very interested by your allusions to the «magic of destruction» and Hegel dialectics, etc…
I feel it touches to the very heart of the problem, and widen the perspective to apprehend the successive forms of what would lead to 1917. In particular the masonic ternarity of joakin, boaz, and jacob. Let’s keep in mind Hegel was initiated in the circles of Adam weishaupt, mister illuminatus himself! Or that the 1919 German revolutionaries named themselves ‘spartakists’ , just like weishaupt’s group.
So there is this sort of «metaphysic of destruction» at work, that I think is the irreducible root of it all…
I sure would like to read you more on this topic.
    Kind regards

    1. Goethe, who joined the Illuminati, once lamented his joining on account of the fraud involved in claiming there were secrets. There was nothing worth knowing there, he said. It was a regrettable waste of time because these people were empty fools. As Alex Benesch has pointed out, these secret societies were hotbeds of aristocratic espionage and intrigue used to recruit agents or gather information on unsuspecting persons. It was used to compromise wealthy people. British intelligence used these groups, some of which obviously got out of hand in the French Revolution. Others proved useful during the Napoleonic Wars.

      1. There’s this book written by a French mason (supposedly of the ‘good’ philosophic lodge..) named «Marx and the metaphysic of destruction», I’ll read it and let you know if I found anything of interest.

  33. Mr. Nyquist Here is a continuation of a Recap of Events leading to the End of World War 2 in Japan with an Emphasis on Soviet activities.
Manchurian Strategic Offensive by C. Peter Chen World War II Data Base
    9 Aug 1945 – 2 Sep 1945
The Japanese northern-most home island of Hokkaido was in the invasion plans, but Japan surrendered before Soviet forces were ready to mount such an invasion. During the Allied occupation of Japan, the Soviet Union repeatedly demanded Hokkaido be administered by Soviet forces independent of the Supreme Commander of Allied Personnel, but General Douglas MacArthur sternly opposed the idea, and threatened the Soviet representative General Kuzma Derevyanko with military action should Soviet forces set foot on the island. Derevyanko, knowing well that MacArthur was not bluffing, advised Moscow to halt any plans for Hokkaido.

Though most westerners believed that the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were the events that drove Japan to surrender, the atomic bombs were actually only part of the equation. Historians such as Tsuyoshi Hasegawa and Dan van der Vat argued that the Soviet declaration of war was as important a factor, if not more so, in the Japanese decision to capitulate. During the last months of the war, it had been evident that the Japanese, not knowing the secret agreement for the Soviet Union to declare war on Japan, were seeking Soviet assistance as a neutral power to negotiate surrender terms with the western Allies. With the seemingly neutral Soviet Union suddenly changing face and tearing up the non-aggression pact, Japan suddenly lost its last hope, which affected the Japanese psyche tremendously.

The Nivkh and Orok peoples, native to Sakhalin island, were deported by the Soviets as a collective punishment for some having worked for the Japanese as spies. The fact that equally many of them spied for the Soviets against Japan was ignored.

In terms of future consequences, the Soviet occupation of northeastern China allowed the Chinese Communist forces to recuperate and rebuild, eventually winning the Chinese civil war.

In 1983, United States Army historian Lieutenant Colonel David Glantz coined the name Operation August Storm to describe this Soviet operation against Japan, and this American name had since been used in some western literature instead of the original Soviet name of Manchurian Strategic Offensive.

    1. Yes, the Soviets were trying to grab a chunk of Japan. Of course, Japan would have surrendered in January 1945 if we had assured the survival of the Emperor. This was the great discovery of US Naval intelligence that could have ended the war early. Soviet agents delayed that offer from the Americans side so Russian troops could grab Japanese territory in the north and Manchuria. Russia still controls the Kuril Islands.

  34. I do not even know how I ended up here but I thought this post was great I dont know who you are but definitely youre going to a famous blogger if you arent already Cheers

  35. Jeff, there has been a 2cnd attack on the radar site in the Russian city of Kovylkino in Mordovia. This one was April 17th, as opposed to the first one on the 11th.

    1. Has this Russian claim been verified?

      1. I don’t know if the ‘Russian’ or’Ukrainian’ claim is verifiable.

Russian KGB can stage ANYTHING. Do not trust one word they say, and no, there is no way to 100 % verify what these pathological liars say or publish, they don’t love the truth and hate all who do love it.

They only tell the truth when they plan to advance a bigger lie by it.

This should remain always the general rule when observing what is happening in Russia and any other communist country. They have succeeded fooling the West into thinking that their favored “system of government”, communist tyranny has collapsed (which system is always illegitimate and can NEVER be granted legitimacy in any way – ever), which scheme was the biggest FRAUD achieved in the history of the world, nothing has yet topped it, except when they will take over the whole world = i.e. the time of the Antichrist (3 and half years of sadistic atheistic communist tyranny worldwide).

      3. According to a medical doctor who was trapped behind the Bamboo Curtain after the communists took over China, the communists valued the truth. However, they could not recognize the truth when truth was presented to them. If the truth contradicted their lies, they believed their lies rather than the truth.

        1. But that’s not valuing the truth. One has to accept and reason with an open mind. Self-suspicion is the rule.

  36. Rule of thumb from civil defense for fallout after a nuclear weapon explosion!
    The rule of seven:
After 7 hours 90% is gone
    After 7 x 7 hours 99% are gone (approx. 2 days)
    After 7 x 7 x 7 hours 99.9% are gone (approx. 14 days)

    1. Actually, the safe time for remaining in a shelter is 13 to 18 days for hot fallout.

  37. Off topic, but I’d really like someone (Mr Nyquist or anyone who’ll be kind enough to answer) to tell me what is the state of knowledge about alexander soljenytsine.
What do we know about him? Was he the dissident he claimed he was? Why the close relation with putin near the end? And this last book «two centuries together»..?
Very strange to me. Especially because, God knows why, he’s the novelist I began with in literature when I was young.
So if anybody could give me a little brief on that matter, that would be very appreciated!
    Cheers all

    1. I guess the short question is: how to articulate solzhenitsyn with golytsin?

      1. I do not know of any mention of one by the other. I do not recall Golitsyn mentioning Solzhenitsyn. And the latter never mentioned Golitsyn. Each kept to his own lane of resistance to communism.

        1. I think I recall Golitsyn very briefly mentioning Solzheniysyn in New Lies for Old.

          1. Yes, on page 125, Golitsyn states that certain controversial material was allowed to be published in the Soviet Union, in order to make Western analysts think the country was becoming more moderate. The Soviets allowed One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich to be published in the Soviet Union for this reason, but Solzhenitsyn was not privy to the reason. This is on page 125.

On page 214, Golitsyn relates that a writer in Czhechoslobakia was allowed to read to a “writer’s congress” -held to give the impression of democratization in that country- a letter Solzhenitsyn had written against censorship. (Pg 214)

So, they allowed a little bit of Solzhenitsyn’s work to be published or read in order to give the false impression to the West of liberalization, but Solzhenitsyn himself was not privy to the Communist’s motives behind the permissions.

          2. Or at least Golitsyn doesn’t give any indication that Solzhenitsyn was aware of their permissiveness in the two instances he referred to. Solzhenitsyn likely wasn’t even aware of the second referenced occasion.

          3. That should have been ” aware of *the reason for* their permissiveness”.

          4. Golitsyn only mentions Solzhenitsyn in passing. He does not seem to actually make any assessment.

          5. Right.

          6. I have heard Soviet people say that they thought Solzhenitsyn too old-fashioned to have any political impact. I found this attitude a partial explanation. As long as his work does not appeal to a large number of people….

    2. Solzhenitsyn was old and tired. He knew the KGB was still present. He said there was “no repentance.” But Putin’s Orthodox pretenses fooled the poor old man. Deeply religious people are sometimes fooled by those who claim to share their beliefs. Their desire to see their faith advance
      makes them vulnerable to impostors.

      1. Thank you for your answer.
So his last book is to consider as anti-judaic in a traditional Christian way, not the like of the kgb weaponized anti-Semitism we know too well?

        1. I have read the translated sections of “200 years together” and I did not find it antisemitic. Of course, I did not read the whole thing.

Actually, Golitsyn did mention Solzhenitsyn twice, albeit periphally, on pages 98 and 163, respectively, of The Perestroika Deception.

        Page 98:

“THE MEANING OF THE REORGANISATION OF THE KGB AND THE EAST EUROPEAN SECURITY AND INTELLIGENCE SERVICES

“The Communist Parties are adapting the KGB and the East European security and intelligence services for their work within the new ‘democratic’ structures. Past and present heads of the KGB – Vladimir Semichastniy (under Khrushchev and Brezhnev), Chebrikov and Kryuchkov – have been giving ‘interviews’ to the Soviet press. A number of less senior ‘retired’ officials have done the same.

“The articles have contained criticism of KGB practices and abuses in the past under Brezhnev, and discussion of the service’s role under ‘perestroika’. For example, a retired KGB Colonel, Karpovich, deplored the fact that the KGB had been engaged in systematically suppressing dissent and regretted his own personal involvement in the persecution of Sakharov, SOLZHENITSYN and others. The publication of his article in ‘Ogonek gave rise to a series of letters in response, some defending the KGB and some attacking the Colonel as an opportunist seeking cheap popularity.”

        Page 163:

“The emergence of Zhirinovskiy was not a spontaneous political development. SOLZHENITSYN was right when he said recently that someone created Zhirinovskiy as a deliberate caricature of a Russian nationalist. SOLZHENITSYN did not explain who that someone was or what his purposes were. In my view, the strategists created Zhirinovskiy with two aims in mind: to forestall the emergence of uncontrolled ultra-nationalism in Russia, and to use the fear of the so-called ‘Zhirinovskiy factor’ for strategic purposes. The West is alarmed by Zhirinovskiy but fails to spot the use that is being made of him, for example, by Yeltsin on his recent visit to Germany when he referred obliquely to Zhirinovskiy when demanding a special place for Russia within the forum of the Group of Seven.”

Went back to my physical copy of New Lies for Old and looked up the index: Also there, Golitsyn mentioned Solzhenitsyn twice, one time on page 125, the other time on page 214:

        Page 125:

“A more liberal attitude was adopted toward writers, scientists, and other creative workers. There were occasional, apparently independent and spontaneous, expressions of public opinion. Unofficial critical comments about the regime were sometimes published. While traditional socialist realism in art continued to receive official encouragement, well-publicized exhibitions of abstract painters were held in Moscow. They were roundly criticized by Khrushchev. As in painting, so in literature; alongside traditional hard-line writing, certain well-known Soviet poets and authors published controversial material in the Soviet and foreign press. Some were harassed and punished in consequence. A Yevtushenko poem including criticism of Stalin was published in the Soviet Union. So was SOLZHENITSYN’s One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich, a description of life in a Soviet prison by an author who had himself been a prisoner under Stalin. Works by other former prisoners, such as Dyakov and Georgiy Shelest, appeared in the early 1960s. More Soviet tourists traveled abroad, including writers who made critical and controversial comments about the regime. Some were allowed to leave the Soviet Union permanently. Within the Soviet Union the well-known writer Kochetov emerged as the leader of the ‘conservative’ wing of the writers’ union, while the late poet Tvardovskiy, who sponsored SOLZHENITSYN’s writings, led the ‘liberals.’ The liberals were joined by the poets Yevtushenko and Voznesenskiy, also by prominent scientists and other dissidents.”

        Page 214:

“Czechoslovak writers played an important part in the alleged removal of Novotny and his replacement by Dubcek. For example, at the Writers Congress in May-June 1967, the liberal Slovak writer Ludvik Vaculik, a member of the Central Committee, a member of the staff of Literarni Listy, and a confidant of Dubcek, delivered several lectures advocating more creative freedom. In a plea for ‘democratic socialism’ he also called for an active struggle against ‘neo-Stalinists.’ The Slovak writer Mnacko attacked Novotny. Anton Liehm, one of the founders of Literarni Noviny, spoke against censorship and police despotism. Another writer read out to the congress SOLZHENITSYN’s ‘secret letter’ against censorship.

“The criticism of neo-Stalinism was convincing. But Vaculik, Klima, and Liehm, who participated in this criticism and called for democratization, were all members of the Central Committee of the party at the time. This raises at least a possibility that they were acting, like Tvardovskiy and Kochetov, on the instructions of the party. It is interesting that, three months later (in September 1967), these writers were expelled from the party ‘for spreading anticommunist propaganda at the Writers Congress.’ Knowing the methods of provocation used by communist security services, the expulsions can be interpreted as deliberate steps to build up the image of these writers as independent, spontaneous critics of the regime and genuine exponents of democratic socialism. At the same time the expulsions would have served to cover up their secret party assignments.”

I missed one more: On page 62 of The Perestroika Deception, Golitsyn mentioned Solzhenitsyn as well. This was the January 4, 1988 memorandum. This is even the most important mention as he predicts here Solzhenitsyn’s return to the Soviet Union:

        Page 62:

“The KGB can be expected to try to plant its agents among American experts on the Soviet Union as official or unofficial advisers on national security affairs. Aside from a future visit to the Soviet Union by the Pope, one may expect publication in the Soviet Union of ALEKSANDR SOLZHENITSYN’s works and his return to his home country. The so-called cultural defectors will also pay return visits to the USSR. Fresh strategic negotiations may lead to the destabilisation of the existing nuclear deterrent at a time when the Strategic Defence Initiative is not yet ready and the Soviet political offensive has yet to reach its peak. The primary issues between the Americans and the Soviets are not over human rights or regional conflicts like Afghanistan or even over negotiations on strategic weapons in which the Soviets, with their long-term aims in view, may make deceptive and, ultimately, meaningless concessions. The root of the conflict between the powers is the Soviet grand strategy for world conquest, and the willingness of the American elite to accommodate it.

“In the long run, American acceptance of ‘perestroika’ as a genuine, spontaneous process entailing the abandonment of that strategic objective will divide the American nation. The United States might well slide into a political morass comparable to the Weimar Republic in Germany in the 1920s. That would make Soviet victory through convergence coupled with war blackmail a realistic prospect. The risk of war might in any case increase. The current joke among Soviet bureaucrats in Moscow is said to be that ‘perestroika’ will be followed by ‘perestrelka’ – that is to say, a ‘shoot-out’, ending in a bloodbath in the Lenin-Stalin style.”

@The Contemplative Observer: So basically, Golitsyn thinks Solzhenitsyn and any equivalent liberal is just being unknowingly agents for the Soviets like Peter Zeihan. They criticized Stalin and all of communism to put the facade of Perestroika that would later open Russia to the West. Anyone, who knows the actual plan of world communists, will be killed. This is why Golitsyn was so careful to disappear after Angleton lost his seat. As an Ukrainian, Golitsyn has an anti-Russian, anti-communist heritage that influenced towards his defection.

This just demonstrated to me that the modern Soviets (Russians) still have a significant control over its diaspora or any overseas community. I remember that a drunkard Russian general, who was active in 2014 war in Ukraine, once claimed that Russia must get rid 20% of its population who are traitors bearing liberal ideas. His statement solidified my belief that the another dimension towards The Long Deception plan is to get rid of Soviet liberal population to export them into the West because it’s costly to kill them all or enslave them in labor camps. Meanwhile, you can dilute your agents among the flood of Soviet liberals going West. This same rationale applied to the ongoing border crisis in the US and Ukrainian refugees crisis/migrant crises in EU.

The global communists didn’t want to destroy the West because they would not have a place to store all of the most rebellious excess of their population.

      7. CONCERNED Avatar
        CONCERNED

One should be extremely careful about Solzhenitsyn.

When all people were getting 10 years of Gulag sentence, he served only 7 years, he was also member of the CP USSR, and had no Catholic (Orthodox) grounds of resisting the communist tyranny – which, the religious resistance against communist atheism, must be the first and foremost foundation of all anti-communist resistance, nothing else should be even remotely close to it.

Solzhenitsyn is a very grave example that even though he criticized the Stalin’s era he in fact has not fully explained the Perestroika communist Fraud and that it must never be trusted, which is (at the least to say) a complete failure of the principles of truth and justice, and moreover, his return into still KGB communist Russia have credit to these fraudulent changes and he by doing so gave at least moral consent to them, thus helping the communist cause the more.

It is either all the way anti-communist principles OR nothing…Solzhenitsyn in this sense has failed, or perhaps was controlled opposition. Be careful and do not forget that they invented many of such people in order to use them for the evil deceptive purposes. He is one of them since he returned and was in active contact with the KGB Kremlin.

Golitsyn is a different case, and he was Ukrainian, which makes it the more different than Solzhenitsyn, and Golitsyn had to hide till the end of his life.

The only thing that Golitsyn was substantially wrong (that is insufficient, not in principle though) was about the levels of the communist penetration of the Vatican, but then he had no theological and canonical insight into this extremely serious situation as such, so there is no blame possible, but deep down he knew something was seriously wrong.

        1. Good cautionary points about Solzhenitsyn.

    Jeff,
I lived in Japan for several years and knew a man who was within a half mile of ground zero of the atom bomb in Hiroshima. His family lived about 10 kilometers away. They all died–wife, children and parents. He survived. When I met him in the 1970s, he told us that the United States government flew him and several plane loads of survivors every year for health check ups and such. Have you ever read of this?

My other question is what is the likelihood that China Russia pulls off something here or in Europe before the presidential election?

On another note, even though I don’t comment as often as I used to, I am following the blog and interviews. By the time I finish, comments are closed. I can’t thank you enough for your work and your connecting us to like-minded folks from Germany, Poland, and Brazil. I hope you will keep this up. Also, I have learned a great deal from Jimmy from Brooklyn.

    1. Thank you, Lady from Liberty Garage: here is a link to Hiroshima casualties by distance from ground zero. https://www.statista.com/statistics/1369894/nagasaki-casualties-by-distance/

At more than 2 kilometers distance only 112 people died. Nearly everyone within 500 meters of ground zero died. There is an exception. Most died in fires after being trapped under their houses. One building was not collapsed right at ground zero, where the people survived. It was a heavy concrete structure. I am glad the US Government monitored the survivors. I think the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki was militarily unnecessary, so it is an unhappy subject given what we face today. As for Russian and Chinese moves in the future, there are details I have about a large cyber attack by Russia and China. The Russians and Chinese are working together on this attack and our security services are very worried. The details are classified, so I do not know much beyond this; but I believe the attack is linked to the infiltration of PLA soldiers here. And I think we are looking at an attack after a close and disputed election. Store drinking water and food for one year.

      1. There are still a lot of ‘good’ Americans out there; I know this from interacting with them daily at my current job, for example. I do not want to see any harm befalling them.

        1. I hate the thought of this beautiful country being destroyed by demented socialist criminals.

          1. This could be a small indication of something in the works.

I have mentioned on here before how a CCP owned copper tubing plant built in my area several years ago. There were already industrial parks with the necessary infrastructure they could have built on, but they chose the most rural and also corrupt county in this area in which to build from scratch. The industrial parks are also located in places where they would always be seen by local people.

They also built a compound where Chinese nationals- young, fit men all- live who work at the plant.

A Hispanic friend of mine a few months ago, told me he had noticed these Chinese guys running and walking along the roadside in ones and twos at night.

Since then, I have driven through there in the daytime and noticed the same thing. You used to not see this, so it seems to me they are making sure they are in shape for a reason.

And nothing else! I watched him, even got closer to him to get a reaction, yet he didn’t react whatsoever. I immediately had this uncomfortable feeling that below the surface of things, there might well already be forming a criminal black market which will brutally exploit misery and famine once it comes.

        1. This is a definite possibility.

      3. Could be. Good point.

Yet I maintain that there are still a lot of ‘good’, decent people out there. I, myself, wish to avoid a very cynical view of the situation.

        1. Yes, the Japanese houses of that time collapsed under the shock wave and many caught fire, creating a massive fire across the city.

      5. Why would they need to do that?
Both parties are keeping the border wide open, release criminals into communities, and spend trillions of dollars running up unsustainable deficits.
Our own government forced our military to take mRNA shots..

Why attack when it’s destroying itself?
        Serious question…

        1. Most of our government is staffed by Americans. The bad actions are the work of ideologically motivated actors, corrupted officials, and people who have been taught the wrong things.

That’s all well and good for people who have the space and the resources to do such a thing. There are, however, people like me out there who live in a too-small apartment and who, even if I had the space, don’t have enough money to stockpile necessary provisions for that length of time.

What would you recommend someone like me do?

        1. Even a month of supplies in a closet is worthwhile.

        2. If you have to choose one food, Janelle, peanuts would be the best. Also, maybe for a week at a time, every so often, just eat whatever you choose for a “survival” food at each meal, so you will mentally be somewhat prepared for that.

      7. Thank you. I really appreciate you answering my question. 🙂

      8. ‘I hate the thought of this beautiful country being destroyed by demented socialist criminals’–

@JRNyquist: Absolutely. I, too, wish to see our ‘Western’ way of life preserved, by all means.

My guess is hacking SCADA systems.

        1. Water and power are being targeted.

That’s what SCADA systems control. We’ve been useing outdated technology for decades inthis regard. Frontline did a show about hacking decades ago. Nice to see that we’ve invested heavily in securing our grid and water.

      10. We were talking about our wonderful land being defiled in a moral and a spiritual sense, not simply in a literal way. Learn to think of things on more than one level, would you–I have little patience for philistines.

          Who are you talking to?

      11. “Store drinking water and food for one year.”

I’ve learned that a 25 lb sack of rice + a 25 lb sack of beans will provide over 500 meals for me. But one needs to add some animal protein, at least some cheese or egg, to make it a complete meal. Add other grains to the mix, wheat, barley, rye for bread, some oil and some other things—a closet can get pretty close to a full year.

Water is a different matter. Thirty gallons for two months takes up a lot of space, and it’s heavy. Then one needs water for washing. To be honest, I am looking at where I can access and purify water, than storage where I have run out of space.

As for the timing of a Chinese attack, didn’t Lude Media already get information that it would be before November of this year?

        1. Me. Wang of Lude says an attack depends on opportunity. He says after the election is the likely time of attack because this is the best opportunity, when Americans are divided the most.

          1. We must do all we can to tamp down angry rhetoric from between Americans around election time. I became a poll worker for my precinct this year, and got three other brand new workers to help me as our dear workers for many years are aging and no longer want to do it. We live in a small community, and I heard expressions of incredulity as to how some people in our area can vote for Democrats. I told them that I don’t hold any ill will to these average people voting Democrat. They simply have no idea what they are voting for. I was trying to do my small part to keep the focus of anger away from each other.

25 rice and 25 lentils. 1 can of sardines a day. Some broccoli. Some chili, olive oil. Handfull of walnuts. A multivitamin. That much rice and lentils lasts me no more than 60 days. At least 8oz dry of each a day. 215 lbs 6ft male.

      12. A high-end water filter, such as a Berkey, or water purification products (iodine tablets or chlorine dioxide) can be used to purify rainwater or creek water sufficiently to make do for extended periods of time.

        1. In Kearny’s Nuclear War Survival Skills, he says if you have to narrow it down to just one type of food, peanuts would be the best.

Yeah but how long do you want only peanuts? About a pound a day.You really don’t want to do this.200 grams of fat a day (2000 calories of peanuts. exclusivly) has nasty effect on my bowels after a day or 2. Ive tried it.. And you don’t feel full…They have their place though for sure IMO. In my extended experience on the poverty diet, It’s hard to beat rice and lentils. Cooking time, water, fuel consumption. But 8 Oz peanuts a day is easily doable.

          2. Thank you, bedlamsbard. I have not actually tried it.

        2. Berkey’s filters have been constantly sold out for months now.

    2. @GreyKnight: I know we’re talking about a very serious topic here, but since you mention peanuts, I can’t resist posting this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pny2q3wQTss&ab_channel=CarrieGriffin

I lived in Japan for several years and new a man who had survived the atomic bomb that we dropped in Hiroshima. He was less than half a kilometer from the epicenter and his family was about 10 kilometers away. His family-wife, children, and parents- all died. He did not. In the 1970s, he said that the United States government flew him and several plane loads of survivors to the USA for medical check-ups every year. Have you ever read about this?

The other question that I had was what do you think are the chances of China/Russia trying to pull off something before the US presidential election?

Finally, I just want to thank you for all your work and interviews with Jimmy, Alex, and others. I have been following the blog closely. I just never finish reading watching everything before the comments close.

My apologies for the double post. I thought my post was lost in internet hell so I redid it a couple hours later. Now I see the first one, too. Yikes
