From Perestroika to World War III: The Fate of Blind Kittens

“The old Marxist model of socialism is no longer attractive. It was oriented toward the simplification of social life, to an equally modest poverty for everyone and called on people to part with many of the joys of their existence. Modern individuals find it hard to understand why a world without a market, without money, without freedom of choice is supposed to be more comfortable for them.”

Alexander Yakovlev[i]

“Western Sovietologists expected the new generation to perform the final act of convergence with liberal democracy, preserving at the same time the ‘socialist values’ of the initial project. How could they do all this, though, knowing so little about the regime that they were supposed to reform?”

Wisla Suraska[ii]

“I’ve always had a very good relationship with Vladimir Putin of Russia, but something has happened to him. He has gone absolutely crazy. He is needlessly killing lots of people, and I’m not just talking about soldiers. Missiles and drones are being shot into cities in Ukraine for no reason whatsoever.”

Donald J. Trump

Under modern conditions, any local military conflict, if not nipped in the bud, can grow into a world war with unlimited use of nuclear weapons.

SOVIET MILITARY STRATEGY[iii]

At four air bases, in Russia, strategic bombers were hit by drones. That happened on Sunday. The Ukrainians claim to have hit 40 bombers, with 12 destroyed. Some estimate the Russians lost $7.8 billion worth of aircraft. The expended Ukrainian drones reportedly cost less than $200,000. It is a new era in warfare. Former head of the Defense Intelligence Agency, General Michael Flynn, was outraged by the Ukrainian attack on the Russian bombers. “If I was sitting [in an important position] … I would want to know, I would want an investigation [about] who knew what and when about this particular attack; and I would tell Pam Bondi [that] I want a special counsel right now to determine exactly what occurred here.” In other words, Flynn wants a criminal investigation against the U.S. military and intelligence community because of Ukraine’s successful attacks on America’s most dangerous nuclear-armed enemy. In support of General Flynn, the egregious Patrick Byrne tweeted, “If it’s true that Trump was not informed and was not aware, then that alone is grounds for terminating our support of this madman in Ukraine. He’s trying to draw us into a nuclear war. It is up to us to put this rabid dog down.”[iv]

The president whose country is invaded, whose citizens are constantly killed by Russian drones and missiles and artillery, shoots back at the invader’s bombers, and he – Zelenskyy – is a “rabid dog”? A Ukrainian on X wrote to Flynn and Byrne, “The fact that you’re afraid of nuclear war means that you believe Putin is insane enough to launch nuclear weapons. Yet you also believe that such an insane man can be negotiated with. Curious.”[v]

It is good, of course, that White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt did not call Zelenskyy a rabid dog. She gave the diplomatic answer one might expect: “The President wants this war to end at the negotiating table and he has made that clear to both leaders, both publicly and privately.” Meanwhile, the negotiations at Istanbul went nowhere on Monday. The Russians came to the meeting angry, the talks lasted about an hour, and nobody looked happy when the meeting ended.

Why is this war happening? Is it because Putin has gone crazy or because Zelenskyy is a rabid dog? No. This war is happening because the Cold War never ended, and communism is still a thing. The biggest military problem the West faces today, in terms of strategy, is our refusal to acknowledge that Russia is clearly part of a communist bloc of states; that Russia and China are allied; that their goal is to eliminate the free world.

What about the supposed collapse of the Soviet Union? What about the “end of history” that Sovietologist Francis Fukuyama made so famous?

Perhaps another Sovietologist can break this down in a more systematic way. Political analyst Wisla Suraska suggested that the disintegration of the iron triangle of Party, Army, and KGB collapsed the Soviet state in 1991. “Instead of open civil war as in Yugoslavia,” noted Suraska, “In Russia the civil war is covert.”[vi] But this was a misreading of the situation. Suraska never bothered to examine the defector literature. Furthermore, the breakdown of the Soviet Union began when the Baltic States entered NATO in 2004, Georgia began serious reforms in 2008, and the Revolution of Dignity freed Ukraine from its Soviet shackles in 2014. It was in Ukraine that an open civil war broke out between communist and anti-communist groups within the former Soviet Union. This genuine revolution against the old system was long overdue because Soviet structures continued to oppress the Ukrainian people after 1991. The Soviet system had changed, of course, but those changes were superficial. The essential anti-Western and criminal structures remained. The clues were always there, though most people did not notice. Suraska, as an expert, admitted that the KGB had supported glasnost and perestroika. Why did they do this? She did not believe in KGB liberals, so she set this puzzle aside with an admission of bafflement.[vii] The question might have been resolved had she considered KGB defector Anatoliy Golitsyn’s claim that the KGB and top Party cadres had been planning a false liberalization for decades.

Exactly as Golitsyn predicted, the false liberalization was carried out. But everything did not go as planned. United Germany did not drop out of NATO and align with Moscow. NATO was not scrapped. America did not pull its forces out of Europe. American, British, and French nuclear weapons were no longer built or tested, but they were still maintained. As the years rolled by, Moscow faced a serious problem of its own. Former Warsaw Pact countries and Soviet republics began to find their way to genuine freedom. In this business Ukraine was Moscow’s Achilles’ heel. The Ukrainian people demanded their rights. They rose up against their Russian puppet president. Vladimir Putin had to crack down. At first he annexed Crimea and started a war in Donbas. Then he launched a full-scale invasion in 2022.

Moscow’s attempt to conquer and reabsorb the former Soviet republic of Ukraine, after three years of fighting, has hit a wall. What will Russia do in the face of Ukrainian battlefield successes of the kind we saw on Sunday? The headline of the Economic Times was, “Russia Ukraine war: Will Vladimir Putin order nuclear attack … after Sunday’s drone strikes?” On 4 May 25 President Putin said that the need to use nuclear weapons in Ukraine had not arisen, and he hoped this would not be necessary. Will this assessment change now that Russian bombers are burning? Elsewhere Putin is reported to have said that Russia possesses the strength to bring the conflict to its “logical conclusion.”[viii] This supposed strength is yet to be found in Russia’s conventional forces. Is nuclear war now inevitable?

Of course, nobody should be surprised that the Russian Federation is assembling nuclear forces on the border of NATO, positioning road mobile ICBMs in Belarus and Kaliningrad. Does this sound absolutely crazy? Or does it sound like something Soviet leaders might do? The Father of Soviet military strategy, Marshal V.D. Sokolovskii, edited a textbook on fighting and winning a nuclear world war in the 1960s. Here is what Sokolovskii’s text says:

“From the point of view of weapons, a third world war will be a missile and nuclear war. The massive use of nuclear weapons, particularly thermonuclear, will make the war unprecedentedly destructive and devastating. Entire states will be wiped off the face of the earth. Missiles carrying nuclear warheads will be the main instruments for attaining the war’s aims and for accomplishing the most important strategic and operational missions. Consequently, the leading branch of the armed forces will be the Strategic Missile Forces, and the role and mission of the other branches of the armed forces will be essentially changed. However, final victory will be attained only as a result of the combined efforts of all the branches of the armed forces.”[ix]

According to this text, which was used to educate the present crop of Russian generals, “The basic method of waging war will be by massive missile blows to destroy … and devastate on a large scale the vitally important  enemy targets … to attain victory within the shortest possible time.” Those who despise President Zelenskyy as a rabid dog and think Russia is run by psychologically normal people, should read Sokolovskii’s text. Under conditions of world war, it says, “the center of gravity of the entire armed struggle will be transferred from the zone of military contact, as in past wars, to deep within the enemy’s land, including the remotest places. As a result, the war will be of unprecedented geographic scope.”[x]

Nuclear world war is what the Russian military has been preparing for. Their main focus is going to be the destruction of NATO, whether Ukraine is defeated promptly or not. The “New World Order” that Putin opposes is the one created when Gorbachev pulled down the Soviet flag from the Kremlin. Putin’s mission has been to put that flag back. He wants to end the longest period of peace and prosperity humanity has ever known. In doing this, he has aligned himself with all the other communist countries (especially Red China). He has built up the most powerful nuclear force in the world. And there is every reason to believe he will use that force.

Perestroika and Sun Tzu

How did we go from Gorbachev’s perestroika to Putin placing SS-27 ICBMs in Belarus and Kaliningrad? Why did glasnost begin in the first place? At the risk of repeating ourselves, we must tell this story, again and again, from every possible angle, until everyone understands. Alexander Yakovlev has been cited as the leading intellectual behind Gorbachev’s reforms. In 1985-86 he directed the Soviet propaganda machine. Yakovlev was a smart communist. He was also a political strategist. Some might say he was a liberal who entered the Politburo while holding critical views of Marx and Lenin. He read books. He wrote books. He knew that Marxism-Leninism was supposed to be a science – yet admitted it had become a political religion in need of reform. What was Yakovlev’s “propaganda” game all about?

In large part, it seems, that Yakovlev’s target audience was the Western liberal and social democratic elite, academics and journalists. Some in the West believed that Marx’s “project” could be salvaged or renewed. How exciting, indeed, if this process could begin in the USSR with a more intensive de-Stalinization campaign. Socialism was, after all, a political religion for many intellectuals in the West (not just for Stalinists in the East). Of course, it was comforting to believe this religion could be a “science.” Yakovlev thought it could be, if corrections were made to Marx and Lenin. Socialism was the only rational way forward, after all. The old religious superstitions had been losing traction for a long time in Europe. Many still believed in God, of course, but nearly everyone believed in “science.” Newton had discovered “the law of gravity,” Darwin had written The Origin of Species, and Marx discovered the “laws of history.” Positivist socialism envisioned a new kind of society, rationally organized and humanistic. Many self-styled intellectuals dreamed that society could be reordered so that war and poverty and oppression might be eliminated. Not believing in Providence, no longer looking back to the insights of Plato and Aristotle, St. Augustine and Thomas Aquinas, modern intellectuals began to feel optimism about “the power of man.” They did not understand that the “Law of Unintended Consequences” would make fools of them all; that the attempt to found societies free from war, poverty, and oppression would lead to the most destructive wars, the greatest impoverishment, and the worst oppression the world has ever seen.

Western civilization was not rationally constructed by social engineers and critics. It grew organically from humble beginnings. Faith was at its foundation. From societies of subsistence agriculture that existed after the barbarian invasions of the Roman Empire, to the sophisticated societies of Medieval Europe, an organic process of development can be traced. The Italian Renaissance began in the fourteenth century, a flowering of philosophy and science followed. None of this was socialist. It was aristocratic. It was elitist. Out of this, Voyages of discovery were undertaken by Columbus, Magellan, and others. The New World was discovered, and everything started to change. With the advent of the printing press, Christians started questioning the authority of Rome. Wars of religion were fought. Tired of killing each other over theology, the Age of Enlightenment followed. Then the road to popular government was paved. The French and Russian Revolutions introduced politics as religion, as a path to salvation. But their ultimate savior was Stalin. His army of fallen angels were nothing more than communist revolutionaries; that is, criminals with a political vocation.[xi]

In 1990 Alexander Yakovlev thought the West’s left-liberal elite was vulnerable to Gorbachev’s appeal. All they had to do was denounce Stalin, or even Lenin. Yakovlev thought there might be a convergence of socialists across the planet. But the West’s flirtation with Gorbachev and his successor (Yeltsin) would not result in the marriage of East and West, or in the consolidation of the “one common European home.” The Soviet intellectuals believed in their own version of democratic socialism, which the Western socialists were never going to sign up for. Furthermore, the nomenklatura could not entirely remove the stench of Stalinism. The reform of Soviet institutions proved to be deceptive, as the KGB defector Anatoliy Golitsyn predicted in 1984 (prior to the advent of Gorbachev). The idea that Moscow could somehow lead socialism into a period of renewal, through perestroika and glasnost, was a delusion. The convergence of East and West, as conceived by the inventor of the Soviet hydrogen bomb (Andrei Sakharov) in the late 1960s, was an impractical idea. When President Yeltsin went to meet President Clinton at Istanbul in December 1999 and asked that the American president “give Europe to Russia,”[xii] Clinton said no. Yeltsin argued that Moscow was European and America should return to its side of the Atlantic. You go and defend those countries over there, said Yeltsin. We will defend Europe. But Clinton said it was impossible. The American president insisted that Europe did not want to be “given” to Russia. In the end, President Clinton was a political realist. His socialism was not serious. Stuck with a failed plan, Yeltsin knew what to do. At Istanbul, Yeltsin said there would soon be a new Russian leader who would take a different approach, named Vladimir Putin. In his Midnight Diaries, Yeltsin explained,

“At some point in 1993, I first thought to myself that something was wrong with some of our generals. They were missing something important, perhaps a certain nobility, sophistication, or some sort of inner resolve. After all, the army is an indication of the internal culture of a society, especially in Russia – a litmus test. I was waiting for a new general to appear, unlike any other. Or rather, a general who was like the generals I read about in books when I was young. I was waiting….

“Time passed, and such a general appeared. And soon after his arrival, it became obvious to our whole society how really courageous and highly professional our military people were. This ‘general’ was named Colonel Vladimir Putin.”[xiii]

Yeltsin’s “diaries” were then full of curious admissions. He winked at the Russian bureaucracy. “The communist idea is in people’s heads,” he flatly asserted.[xiv] The Duma, he said, could at any time annul the Belovezh Agreement that dissolved the Soviet Union. Regarding Russia’s economic problems, Yeltsin joked that the man responsible for developing Russia’s new market economy, Deputy Prime Minister Anatoliy Chubais was, “a Bolshevik of approach.”[xv] According to Yeltsin,

“I had the feeling that Chubais was about to get his head chopped off. My intuition did not fail me. Berezovsky didn’t wait long to react. In a few days he launched the newest attack on the young reformer’s government. Berezovsky’s news team did everything it could to turn Chubais into a rogue and a parvenu in the eyes of the public. Only a few people in the country knew that in reality Chubais suffered merely for his principles, which he had defended with energy and conviction, as appropriate for the most liberal ‘Bolshevik.’”[xvi]

The most liberal Bolshevik? Chubais? One reads these lines, again and again, with disbelief. The liberals in Russia were merely liberal “Bolsheviks.” Communism retained its control beneath Russia’s liberal-coated exterior. This was Lenin’s NEP all over again, with Stalinists holding guns to the oligarch’s heads. Was this the path mapped out by Yakovlev and Sakharov? Of course it was, exactly as KGB defector Golitsyn had warned. But who bothered to read Yeltsin’s diaries? Who understood, after 1999, that glasnost was a strategic trick that half-failed. A new neo-Stalinist perestroika, under a storybook general named “Putin,” was about to begin.

Russia was not going to control Europe by peaceful convergence. Therefore, convergence would be carried out by war and by the threat of war. The Kremlin would do this in cooperation with the Chinese communists and North Koreans. The militaries of Russia and China had anticipated this path as early as 1991 and 1992.[xvii] Europe had to be occupied by force if not by fraud. The United States had to be isolated and destroyed.

Think of the brilliant socialist minds who championed a peaceful path to victory. Andrei Sakharov’s writings, published in English by the New York Times Company in 1968, included a summary of proposals for East/West convergence. “The strategy of peaceful coexistence and collaboration must be deepened in every way,” wrote Sakharov. “Scientific methods and principles of international policy will have to be worked out, based on scientific prediction of the immediate and more distant consequences.”[xviii] This brilliant physicist did not want the hydrogen bomb to be the means for unifying the world under socialism. It is better to attempt convergence, he explained. But Sakharov was a dreamer, like Yakovlev. Soviet Marshal V.D. Sokolovskii and his proteges had been more realistic. They knew that the West would not embrace convergence. Clausewitz had warned that,

“…philanthropists may easily imagine there is a skillful method of disarming and overcoming an enemy without causing great bloodshed, and that this is the proper tendency of the Art of War. However plausible this may appear, still it is an error which must be extirpated; for in such dangerous things as War the errors which proceed from a spirit of benevolence are the worst.”[xix]

Here was the inspiration of the Soviet General Staff. Their idea was to fight and win a nuclear world war. A spirit of benevolence, in this matter, could only produce the worst kind of error. The KGB strategists did not want to fight a war. The army would benefit political from that. Besides, nuclear war was messy and dangerous. Surely, the West could be frightened into embracing “communism with a human face.” The perfect man for this job was Andrei Sakharov, the father of the hydrogen bomb. Some have accused Sakharov of being a dissident under KGB control. This allegation against Sakharov, which has been whispered deep inside Russia, was given voice by KGB defector Anatoliy Golitsyn, who wrote as follows:

“It is inconceivable that, if he [Sakharov] were seriously at odds with the regime and therefore a security risk, he would have been given the opportunities he has had to maintain contact with Western friends and colleagues. Even from his ‘exile’ in Gor’kiy, he is able to convey his views to the West through intermediaries and correspondence. The only conclusion consistent with these facts is that Sakharov is still a loyal servant of his regime, whose role is now that of a senior disinformation spokesman for the Soviet strategists.”[xx]

What answer can we give to Golitsyn’s logic? But there is something more to this. If Sakharov represented a genuine Russian reform movement, what happened to that movement (and its powerful sponsors within the Russian elite) after President Clinton refused President Yeltsin’s request to “give Europe to Russia”? Where did these Russian liberal “Bolsheviks” go? What happened to “convergence” as dreamt of by Sakharov? Russian liberals are nowhere to be seen. They are gone, vanished – as if it they never existed. Oh yes, there are a few here and there. But there is no liberal movement in Russia. Nobody with any power, as in the 1990s, backs it. Meanwhile, the Kremlin is piling up ICBMs in Belarus and Kaliningrad. I say again: The reform movement in Russian politics evaporated almost overnight, along with the free press and freedom of speech. It happened suddenly, without resistance. Under Putin, journalists and businessmen were murdered in a steady stream of bloodletting. Freedom in Russia crumbled. Was it ever more than a facade? Had Yakovlev been sincere? Had Sakharov been sincere? In the end, Russian liberalization had a requirement: America must hand Europe over to Russia. That was the bottom line. That was the underlying significance of this two-act comedy starring Mikhail Gorbachev and Boris Yeltsin. Once the curtain came down on this comedy, a tragedy began to play out under Vladimir Putin.

Blind Kittens

In the last days of Boris Yeltsin, the Ghost of Stalin haunted the Kremlin. “You are blind kittens,” Stalin had told his successors. “How will you survive without me?” Yakovlev and Gorbachev and Sakharov were blind kittens. They thought they could survive without Stalin. But they could not. Their liberalization backfired. The West did not want to join the “one common European home” from Brest to Vladivostok. Such could only be established under bombardment from Russian artillery, missiles, and drones.

Contrary to Stalin, Yakovlev was one of those Soviet intellectuals who believed what Prof. Nikolai Popov wrote in 1989:

“We now say our foreign policy was inadequate and we reacted too sharply to provocations from the West. Obviously, the same thing can be said about the actions of the West…. But an important reason for the fear, suspicion, and hostility in Western policy … was the revulsion for Stalinism.”[xxi]

These poor blind kittens thought that denouncing Stalin would win the Cold War. Yes, denouncing Stalin had its effect. Reagan’s Pershing missiles were removed from Europe. But the Soviet Army was also removed, and Germany stayed in NATO. The Soviet Union found its structures disorganized, its “scientific socialism” in shambles. They still had their bureaucratic machine and the overseas communist parties, and China, and North Korea, etc. But they had damaged themselves by their long-range policy. Stalin had been right. They were blind kittens.

There was a moment, of course, when the Soviet generals had their chance to strike the West. But after November 1983, with the deployment of the Pershing missiles, Moscow lost its military advantage. War games played in the United States reflected this change in the military balance by 1984. Liberalization was Moscow’s only path forward. And so, Nikolai Popov could not help admitting in 1989, however furtively, the real reason for an “honest analysis of our past and an elimination of the remnants of Stalinism….”[xxii]

“At the cost of incredible effort we created an atomic bomb and then a hydrogen bomb and an arsenal of missiles, and by the end of the sixties we reached parity with the United States and the West. But we did not manage to protect ourselves … and the danger of war increased. It is possible to avert it as our present government constantly emphasizes, only through political and not military means. In this sense glasnost is our parity, restructuring is our weapon, and destalinization is our main ammunition.”[xxiii]

Nuclear war was not an option for the Soviet Union after the Pershings were deployed. The Kremlin had to play another card: de-Stalinization. How does one avoid it? Follow the strategy of Sun Tzu, the path of least resistance, said the KGB generals. According to Popov and Yakovlev, Stalinism had strengthened anticommunism in the West. Therefore, said Popov, “our main task today … is to divorce Stalinism from communism in the eyes of the world.”[xxiv]

These were the arguments of 1989. Six years earlier the Soviet generals were pushing for nuclear war. Few realize how close the world came to nuclear war in 1983. The Soviet military was contemplating a full-scale preemptive nuclear attack against NATO prior to the deployment of the Pershing II missiles. Soviet Defense Minister Dmitri Ustinov attempted to alarm his colleagues by saying that “in the U.S., nuclear war is being shifted into a possible and, under some circumstances, expedient category.”[xxv] The Soviet military was then politically powerful, having wrung prerogatives from Brezhnev’s benign neglect. The KGB eyed all this with suspicion, of course. A former KGB officer told me that Ustinov might have become the next leader of the Soviet Union instead of Gorbachev. But everything depended on war. The KGB, however, controlled the Kremlin as former KGB Chairman Yuri Andropov had become General Secretary after Brezhnev’s death. Andropov was suspicious of the generals. Would they use a nuclear war to overthrow the KGB and Party? Andropov was worried. Had the Soviet Army become too powerful within the Communist Party Soviet Union?

The iron triangle that governed the Soviet Union was formed by three institutions: the Communist Party, the Soviet Army, and the KGB. Each kept watch over the others. But here we see that the KGB had gotten into the Kremlin. The KGB and the Party were therefore able to check the Soviet Army’s ambition. The delicate internal balance within the Soviet state might shift to the Army in a nuclear war. Why would Andropov allow it?

President Ronald Reagan was, of course, a serious problem. The year 1983 was one of the worst during the Cold War: In March, Reagan announced his Strategic Defense Initiative; later that year, the KGB began Operation VRYAN in search of evidence that the U.S. was about to launch a preemptive nuclear war;  in September, a Soviet jet fighter shot down a Korean passenger jet (KAL 007) killing all passengers and crew; Also in September, the new Soviet OKO “Eye” launch detection satellites reported  Minuteman ICBM launches in the United States, with Lt. Col. Stanislav Petrov averting disaster by stopping the false warning message at the last minute; in October, the U.S. invaded the Caribbean island of Grenada; and then, in November, there was NATO’s Able Archer-83 exercise, which Ustinov and his generals interpreted as cover for launching a surprise attack on the USSR. But the real cause of Ustinov’s agitation for war was the deployment of Pershing II intermediate range missiles to Europe, with a ten-minute flight time to Moscow.

According to a source in Moscow, Andropov canceled World War III at the eleventh hour, in the eleventh month, November 1983. On 20 December 1984, Defense Minister Dmitri Ustinov died. With his passing, the Soviet Army gradually lost its political influence. When a German national, Mathias Rust, landed a small plane in Red Square by sneaking past the Soviet Union’s air defenses, Gorbachev responded by sacking Marshal of the Soviet Union Sergei Sokolov and Marshal of Aviation Alexander Koldunov. Not long thereafter a helicoptor with five Soviet colonel generals crashed, killing all aboard. Finally, it was alleged that Marshal Sergei Fyodorovich Akhromeyev took his own life in the 1991 August coup. The Soviet military, which had a dominant position within the Soviet economy, was slowly pushed back. The KGB under Andropov, and later supporting Gorbachev, worked with figures such as Georgi Arbatov and other agents of the special services. According to Suraska’s account, Andropov curbed the military’s ambitions, then Gorbachev landed crushing blows againt the military. “Gorbachev’s stance on the military was to some extent determined by the very logic of his factional struggle,” noted Suraska. Gorbachev intervened in personnel decisions, advancing generals who had little or no authority over the troops. This was intentional. Gorbachev fully intended to rely on people like Alexander Yakovlev and Georgi Arbatov, who told the West that the evil empire was no more. We are disarming, said Gorbachev. We are rebuking Stalin and the Soviet past, said Popov. Reagan will be helpless against our new policy, said Arbatov. Let us come together to build a socialist world in a way that makes sense, hinted Yakovlev. The whole project retained its Marxist grandiosity. It also retained the deceptive promises of Lenin’s New Economic Policy (i.e., retreat into capitalism of the 1920s). Even in 1994, Yakovlev’s Fate of Marxism in Russia was a question-begging exercise in “political science.” One may detect a baited hook in Yakovlev’s admission that, “People have tired of the terrible, exhausting whirlwinds of the twentieth century.”[xxvi]

Nikolai Popov had declared in 1989 that, “We are offering the world more and more peace initiatives, we want to rid the planet of nuclear weapons altogether, we are prepared for unilateral steps, and we are striving to radically change foreign policy thinking in the world.”[xxvii] Of course, these were empty promises. They never played out. Moscow has new nuclear warheads today, while the United States has very old warheads, long past their shelf life.[xxviii] The de-Stalinization of Popov, Yakovlev, Arbatov, and Gorbachev was a Trojan Horse. One is confused, indeed, by the apparent sincerity of these Soviet personalities. But they were Soviet, and they lied. Why not build a tapestry of deceit out of truthful admissions? Again and again, the revolutionary conspirator rekindles hope in socialism and “the peace dividend.” There is something in this for everyone. The right can crow about its victory. Francis Fukuyama said it was “the end of history.” Strategy and utopia became intermingled, fashioned by Moscow into a psychological weapon. Thus, the inventor of the Soviet hydrogen bomb, Andrei Sakharov, was transformed into the dissident saint of nuclear disarmament and East-West convergence. As Trump might say, every Trojan Horse is a beautiful horse. How else could it hope to cross into the enemy camp?

Where does that leave America now, as Russia threatens the Baltic States with invasion and NATO with nuclear bombardment? President Trump now says that Vladimir Putin is “absolutely crazy.” Trump wants to know what happened to Vladimir? He used to be a good guy. But it is not a question of what happened to Vladimir. It is a question of what happened to the Soviet successor state when peaceful convergence failed. The smartest people in the former Soviet Union, who did not like the idea of nuclear war, were discredited when East-West convergence failed in the 1990s. The “one common European home” of Gorbachev and Yeltsin could not be achieved through glasnost or perestroika. Clausewitz was right and Sun Tzu was wrong. Soviet liberalism did not cause Western liberals to give all their weapons away and disband NATO.

This is why the leadership of the Soviet successor state fell to people like Vladimir Putin and Nikolai Patrushev. These are knuckle-dragging Stalinists. They want to follow Stalin’s example because Stalin knew what to do. Stalin would not have given away Eastern Europe. He would not have allowed the reunification of Germany. But there is a problem. Stalin died in March 1953 and Putin is not Stalin. He is, unfortunately, a blind kitten with sharp fangs. If only he could catch the Ukrainian mouse. If only he had eyes to see. But he does have nuclear weapons.

Is it time to sing “three blind mice”?

[xi] Richard Weaver, in his book Ideas Have Consequences, thought a wrong turn had been taken with the advent of nominalism in the fourteenth century. Today’s neo-reactionaries say the Reformation was disastrous, and the Enlightenment which preceded the French Revolution. Adam Smith envisioned an Epicurean commonwealth in the original version of his Theory of Moral Sentiments (1757). The Wealth of Nations followed, containing key understandings for such a commonwealth to flourish. Later the Whig Theory of History presented modernity as a glorious present. Thomas Macaulay correctly anticipated great marvels by the year 2000. What the Whig theory could not see was the dangers inherent in prosperity and the rising scientific materialism. Material progress and its market-guided “invisible hand” was destined to become the runaway train of the egalitarian welfare state of the West. Scientism eventually leaned toward “scientific socialism” and the “scientific management of human affairs” referred to by Lenin when he created the first totalitarian state. The prosperous society, as a runaway train, ended up in a thermonuclear face-off against the scientific socialists. Each side had its ideology, its political religion. One program sought salvation in prosperity, the other in overthrowing prosperous. Each half of the pathological whole was detached from reality. In its present phase, with intellectual decline on both sides, a “race to the bottom has begun.” This race can be understood as the triumph of the foxes over lions in the sociology of Vilfredo Pareto. It can also be understood, as Eric Voegelin observed, through an examination of alienated intellectual class. This class influences the administrative staff of government, media, and education. Who are they alienated from?  Truth, universal mind, God, etc. Alienated man is a creature who lives in a “second reality.” He has lost himself in the toxic inner world of the Cluster C personality of the DSM-5 (characterized by fear, envy, anxiety, and depression). As a political manifestation, “second reality” is pathologically murderous; for nothing is more dangerous in statecraft and war than a deluded statesman or general. According to Thomas Sowell, these deluded ideas form “the vision of the anointed.”[xi] The leftist tendency within the Western academies is drenched with toxic “second realities,” which contradict first reality. The same can be said of the totalitarian East, except that there is a greater cynicism – with outright murder bleeding through the pages of Russian and Chinese history. As an addendum, we now have the Western phenomenon of the populist right, which has been infiltrated by the Russian special services and the active measures of Alexander Dugin’s Eurasianists. Everything here is quite mad. The alienated spirit is a wrecking ball.

Jeff, not sure if you can comment, in regards to the Hong Kong ‘Pro-Democracy’ Movement, it is becoming painfully obvious that there is a good chance that the CCP has their own version of Maskirovka in place, also I have noticed that many journalists from the West including Media outlets from the BBC, Deutsche Welle (DWTV) and etc report that the Hong Kong ‘Pro-Democracy’ Movement is ‘anti CCP’ and refuse to report that the Hong Kong ‘Pro-Democracy’ Movement founders Martin Lee and Szeto Wah is very close to Zhao Ziyang and Deng Xiaoping when it is well known to the Hong Kong people that the CCP created the Hong Kong ‘Pro-Democracy’ Movement

    1. Controlled opposition is standard practice in communist regimes.

    2. commies are not gods, they are primitive degenerates who operate in terror. If we put out MINDS in it- we can overdo them easy. Just need to have Faith, exercise Valore, and create a total concentration on the Goal. Stop the train of thoughts and LISTEN to your heart. This is how we KNOW and have it done

One important part is missing – the essential help of God, without which God will allow this atheistic evil to take its course, and this in punishment of this godless immoral perverrted world, as it is all foretold and as Our Lady of Fatima has revealed in 1917 AD.

The scriptural reference is Ezechiel 38 and Apocalypse 20 (The original Douay-Rheims Holy Sscripture) and the notations from the16th century when it was originally published – the notes about these 2 passages in the Holy Scripture are priceless.

BUt when people prefer heretical inventions instead of the Truth, God allows evils to take their course, as it is also recorded in the Book of Judges for example, or the Machabees etc.

Communism is the diabolical scourge that will be allowed by God to scourge this world of sin, and then only those who will convert and amend their evil ways, by the mercy and grace of God, will be helped, and the rest of the world will pay the price of unbelief to God in the worldwide communist atheistic Hell on earth. The reign of the Antichrist, 3 and half years of evil. Then God will punish the communists and destroy them, and the Last Judgment will follow.

Jeff, not sure if you can comment, this evening when I was working on the document on Hong Kong with Albert, both of us were surprised when we are writing about the Hong Kong ‘Pro-Democracy’ Movement, we found people from the Hong Kong ‘Pro-Democracy’ Movement were even elected to serve on the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference

Yesterday Ukrainians with obvious support of NATO have attacked Russian nuclear weapon planes (Ukraine’s drone attacks on Russian airfields) . It doesn’t matter they failed. According to Russian nuclear doctrine now Moscow has to (not just can – it has to!) retaliate. Did Trump want that? Was he elected to tolerate that?

How to defeat the collective warmongering West without launching WWIII.

As far as I can tell, there are really only a few possibilities left for this crowd at this late hour. They’re either:
        – Shills, paid, blackmailed, or otherwise
        – True believers
        – Demoralized to whatever degree
        – Some combination of the above

I SUPPOSE there’s the faint possibility of of infiltration-slash-rug-pull one of Jeff’s co-hosts pointed out a few months ago, but judging by their performance against the communist bloc in both the 20th and 21st centuries, I seriously doubt it.

        1. CONCERNED Avatar
          CONCERNED

The (intended) demoralization and disunity of the US population is the prerequisite of the Moscow strategiic goal in the first place, and part of the military strategy as such, because when people are divided in their political beliefs and more so in the terms of national defense against the communists, the country is already in very deep trouble, and so the presence of the KGB assets within the government sets the stage for the fall of the entire country. This is not defeatism, but the true reality.

Of course anybody can recover, but solely with the esential help from God…as it is written in the Holy Scripture: Every kingdom divided against itself shall be made desolate and a house upon house shall fall…

When most of the world doesn’t understand nor believe, including the US, that there was never any collapse of communism, then the stage is already set and the situation appears truly irreversible at this point. This is about 20 years in this mad business of analyzing the truth about the Russian communist strategy speaking, but that of itself means absolutely nothing unless the analysis is followed by deeds in the same direction. But that requires more anti-communist minds and that is missing in this world today.

Of course to claim to be anti-communist is not enough, one has to have the essential help from God to do something about it.

The opening quote above explains one reason why the communist revolutions succeeded in Russia and China while failing in more advanced countries. In both countries, the majority of the population were landless, depending on the landlords for work, housing, even basic necessities. In other words, they already lived in modest poverty. The lying promise of communism was that it could be a step up from their present circumstances.

For richer societies, communism was seen as a step backwards.

    1. Yes. Good point.

    2. In Russian empire communism only succeeded when several tens of millions were murdered and about the same number fled. Resistance was total. IN several years before Holodomor we had close to 4 thousands armed rebellions in Ukraine only. ALWAYS RESISTANCE was a real reason for every single turn to liberalism. Not a convoluted PLAN , but a pressure of resistance. Just look at Ukrainians. It was ALWAYS like that and will be till we WIN and take control over the degenerated part of Eurasia, including China. ONE MUST KNOW PRC/CCP still uses UKRAINAIN made aircraft blueprints from 1950s !! to build theirs. Chinese are WAY WAY behind. They only learn in the current war and THIS is a dangerous development. Other then that… yeah, 1950s.

      1. Empire was NOT failing or falling. Of course the aftermath of the 1st world war did a lot of damage. Still, Empire under Witte tenure as prime minister was one of the best places on Earth in terms of economics, workers rights, pay, social programs, gold standard, local government, jury trial system, coming constitutional monarchy model, etc

    QUOTE:
The biggest military problem the West faces today, in terms of strategy, is our refusal to acknowledge that Russia is clearly part of a communist bloc of states; that Russia and China are allied; that their goal is to eliminate the free world.

    ——-
The KGB-GRU established their own political powers within the western governments in order to control the flow of ideas that might prove detrimental to the long-term communist strategy of worldwide domintation.

Thus their main weapon, which is subversion, remains intact. The Sun Tzu strategy and Golitsyn analysis of it, is as accurate as it has ever been, there is no mistake in it nor compromise on it in the eys of the Soviet Leaders, as the Soviet Union, an illegitimate state by the way, as evil as ever, has never collapsed but was thus perfected by these fraudulent liberalizations, which were all designed to mislead and deceive the blind (an the communist penetrated) western governments, and to slow down the nuclear armament of the western powers while Russia has never done so.

The striking blindness of the western leader cannot be regarded as coincidental, but strategically incited by the KGB-GRU penetration (infiltration), because then it is truly controlled for the purpose of its use for the successful victory of communism, otherwise, if these communist networks, who by the way are fully capable of presenting themselves as the most liberty-loving “conservatives” in the world, under orders from Moscow and always so, they will not blnk their eyes either when they are ordered to march for the victory (or their intended dismassal when they are no longer needed by the KGB Kremlin Mafia)…

But to recognize them now, the domestic assets, the purposely deceived and or those who know that MOscow had neevr had any intention to seek liberty and freedom of conscience, the whole of the communist assets are now imbedded inside the western governments in order to prevent the real anti-communist minds to enter and to (finally !) realize that the whole free world was successfully deceived by the communist criminals of the Kremlin into the most tragic surrender and ultimately defeat.

And thus there is no middle ground in that strategy – Moscow wants to control the whole world, without the United States to exist in it, and without any other state that could ottherwise pose a problem for the communist strategy and its implementation…and such is their evil diabolical plan.

When Soros, the long-tetm KGB asset, entered the stage and, as he had written himself about it, has at the same time during the 1980s financed and otherwise supported the (KGB created) “anti-communist movements” in Eastern Europe, and had high level contacts and visits in the Kremlin and Beijing, and in his native Hungary at the same time, in1980s, that fact alone should have awakened the western analysts from their sleep and realize that the whole collapse of communism has always been orchestrated and tun by the commies themselves, and for the purpose of deception and nothing but deception.

They (the KGB propganda machines) went even so far that they allowed the information to leak that Lech Wallesa and Vaclav Havel and their cohorts were communist agents, in contact with the local secret police, they even published their bona fide (about Wallesa and Havel), Soros even went so far as that he stated publicly that Havel was selected for to become the president of Czechoslovakia, as if this was to be overlooked that there were no free elections in these “liberated” countries but that in reality the KGB controlled opposition was the political power that FIRMLY controlled the whole situation from the beginning.

There is no comrpomise nor setbacks as such among the communists that they don’t control and get out of, and so the strategy remains intacts and they mantain it, and any appearance of setback or disunity is only part of their deliberate deception – because of the whole structure of their evil system, whicb is based on fear of being punished if the orders are not carried out properly and with the intended results.

And if there are temporal setbacks in the communist strategy, they are always marginal compared to what the overall and truly long-term strategy dictates…and those who have missed this point of analysis will learn one day from the Kremlin communist Mafia that it is very costly to allow this diabolical system to flourish and to succeed its mission of the worldwide victory of communism.

Golitsyn was right and those who deny it are either incompetent idiots or the KGB assets of the controlled opposition…both will be dealt with by the KGB and the Soviet communist military when such assets are no longer needed….that’s the common communist practice, historically accurate and proven to exist.

What to do ? Hope to God that He will have mercy on this godless and perverted world, but as Our Lady of Fatima said in 1917 – Russia will spread her errors throughout the world, the good will be martyred….various nations will be annihilated….

The ONLY entity in the world that will NOT be destroyed, as it cannot be destroyed, is the true Catholic Church, Divine (and not human) Institution, outside of which there is no salvation…and that’s why the Kremlin criminals worked so many decades to try to attack the Church – and still unsuccessfully, as the gates of Hell shall not prevail against Her (the true Church), as the gates of Hell are not stronger than God !

    1. Every model of control is imperfect. The perestroika deception was incredibly successful insofar as few recognize there was a deception. However, people instinctively resist total control. They resist total give-aways as Clinton did in 1999. The ultimate mistake will be when the communists begin to use nuclear weapons for overt control. I do not think it will work. At some point you simply have to kill everybody who resists; but that becomes such a big number you end up killing yourself.

      1. CONCERNED Avatar
        CONCERNED

Let us hope that people don’t overlook Clinton’s communist and Kremlin contacts, including his visits there and so on, and his evils that helped the Moscow communist fraud to enter and to remain active…

Cllinton was most likely ordered to resist the Yeltsyn’s advance about Europe as Moscow had only just began to subvert the west and it was too early to begin anything substantial – which situation was carried out with overwhelming success by the KGB criminals and it created credibility for Clinton, who should be arrested and tried for treason BTW and his evils, but then the controlled opposition now inside the system will not go that way as justice and communism are incompatible items contrary to each other and the Russian Bolsheviks do not allow justice to exist and they fear it the most themselves.

Clinton was evidently to say what he said to Yeltsin and there was no setback in it for the Russian criminals either, as you can see in where they are today….

When it comes to communist operaiton there is no disunity and mininal serback are permitted and only a temporal timeline for them….otherwise heads do roll and blood is spilled, no escaping from their hands either.

        1. Stalin killed a lot of communists.

          1. CONCERNED Avatar
            CONCERNED

BTW – yes, that is true – and he was apparently paranoid and afraid that they will kill him, which evidently they (possibly Beria himself) did…

But since then they agreed on collegiality and so they don’t allow this what Stalin did to divert them from the overall strategy to take over the world with communism – and they all are fully committed to this and they all understand this perfectly – which makes them all the more evil.

When Putin made that speech about the Topol M ICMB, with the presentation and that video simulation etc. in the DUMA (this is some years back), you could watch their faces how excited these Bolsheviks all were when Putin said that the ICBM is capable of maneuvers during the flight and all the advantages, so they are all communist fanatics and all fully committed to the communist cause – except they don’t want to be seen as such, not yet anyway.

          2. But they do still kill each other. Look at the oligarchs and politicians that have died.

          3. CONCERNED Avatar
            CONCERNED

THere may be situations like these, but not that it would indicate some kind of pattern or more than an isolated few cases, and so their communist fanaticism makes them the more alingned and united for the cause and the controlling system that does it for them is called the Party discipline, by which they are all held in unity and observing it punctually, otherwise those who do not obey the Party directives are eliminated, sometimes with their whole families – so the fear of disobedience to the Party exists and is the main factor why they fanatically follow the Party line always….and if there are any such cases, they may be either power struggles (which are rare) or some other kind of deceptive occurence that they have no problem to unleash unto the world, and for the purpose of painting themselves as disunited, which is BTW a military deception type of context and strategy.

Sometimes there might be a direct KGB calculated lie, so that the person is “reported” murdered, but in fact retires from their positions and is moved to luxurious datcha somewhere to the Kavkaz region, never to be in public eye again… It is very hard to understand their ways how the KGB truly works and what evils they are capable of producing….

          4. As Jeff Nyquist pointed so true:

At some point you simply have to kill everybody who resists; but that becomes such a big number you end up killing yourself.

90% of people in Empire were opposing the commies.

Close to 50% of population since 1917 were murdered till round 1988 (130millions). And another half of who survived had to run away.

Still close to 90% of those who stayed opposed the regime.

In my 27 years in Ukraine i NEVER met a single honestly pro communist person EVER. Before bolshevism Ukrainians were at about 5-10 mil more in numbers than russians were.

          5. CONCERNED Avatar
            CONCERNED

Stalin took the wrong path and had to be retired from life to prevent him in establishing his own ways, instead of continuing the Lenin’s way, meaning the victory of communism instead of showing himself as the one who had achieved it (Stalin) and not the whole Party.

It is a truly criminal Mafia and Stalin took it upon himself to prove that he will do it all by himself, and the Party said no and retired him instead.

It is truly the Apocalyptic Synagogue of Satan, nothing less and anyone who shakes hands with these communist atheistic criminals is the more evil and the more guilty in helping them to achieve their evil ends. Trump is one of such people – no matter how many times he would suggest that his intentions are good and honest, the results are still evil and helping the Russian and Chinese communists to take over the world. And Trump knows that the US military is not strong enough to resist the overwhelming nuclear and bio-chem force the whole Bolshevik Bloc possesses.

That’s why the analysis about Trump stands, supported by the facts that exist about his KGB connections and history. And it is not finished either, he has more to do for them, they know it and he will learn it when the orders come in – and they will come in.

Putin will escalate the whole situation one day and Trump will be ordered to stand down and to let it happen, this is the most scary part, but aligned fully with the definition of the communist controlled opposition and the overall strategy how to use it, by the KGB Kremlin criminals.

  5. One needs to know that communism was always a pursuit of the minority of terrorists who terrorize the rest of us. The resistance was always in MAJORITY. 130 millions were murdered 1917-1988. About half who survived did that because they fled.

    Resistance NEVER ended.

The Ukrainian angle is important: lenin’s advisor Zatonskiy is the one who lobbied NEP , the policy that created a class of wealthy farmers (kulaks). Zatonskiy was the 1st president of soviet Ukraine. Arrested and murdered in 1938 in a purge. Ukrainians planned to take stalin down but he hit them first. Simple as that. Zatonskiy was my distant relative.
    I KNOW EXACTLY what happened.

Now we can understand what Yakovlev actually was. I quote from his preface to Black book of communism.

After the 20th Congress, in a very narrow circle of our closest friends and associates, we often discussed the problems of democratization of the country and society. We chose a method as simple as a sledgehammer to propagate the “ideas” of the late Lenin. It was necessary to clearly, distinctly and intelligibly isolate the phenomenon of Bolshevism, separating it from the Marxism of the last century. And so we tirelessly talked about the “genius” of the late Lenin, about the need to return to Lenin’s “plan for building socialism” through cooperation, through state capitalism, etc.

A group of true, not imaginary, reformers developed (orally, of course) the following plan: to strike at Stalin, at Stalinism, with Lenin’s authority. And then, if successful, to strike at Lenin with Plekhanov and social democracy, and at revolutionarism in general with liberalism and “moral socialism.”

    A new round of exposing the “cult of Stalin’s personality” began. But not with an emotional cry, as Khrushchev did, but with a clear subtext: not only Stalin is a criminal, but the system itself is criminal. Then my definition of Bolshevism appeared. In its current completed version, it looks like this: “From a historical point of view, Bolshevism is a system of social insanity, when the peasants, nobility, merchants, the entire layer of entrepreneurs, the clergy, intellectuals and intelligentsia were physically destroyed; it is the “mole of history” that dug mass graves from Lvov to Magadan, from Norilsk to Kushka;

    it is the exploitation of man based on all types of oppression and ecological vandalism; it is anti-human commandments, driven in with the ruthlessness of ideological fanaticism concealing insignificance; it is a land mine of monstrous power, which almost blew up the whole world. From a philosophical point of view, it is a subjective inhibition of objective processes, a misunderstanding of the essence of social contradictions;

This is thinking in categories of social narcissism and a reflexive rejection of any opponent; megatonnage of dogmatism, the intermediate and final result of a consumer-calculating attitude to truth.

From an economic point of view, this is a minimal final result with maximum costs due to the voluntaristic denial of the law of value; anarchy of productive forces and bureaucratic absolutism of productive relations; conservation of scientific and technological backwardness; the growth of stagnation; equalization as a universal, perhaps the only way

  6. The events of 2014 were Gazprom operation, payed by julia tymoshenko, a criminal multi billionaire, who siphoned from state coffers into her pockets over $50 billion since mid 1990s. He was put in jail for practically transferring over $20 billions of government funds to… putin regime with huge kick backs for her. Of course she could pay for a coup. The EU and FRG top officials were constantly coming to Kyiv with demands to free her in exchange of some EU insignificant favors to Kyiv. Very active was German foreign minister Guido Westerwelle. He knew too much OF THE WAR PREPARATIONS same as recently gunned down in Spain
mr. PORTNOV. Guido Westerwelle soon died at a very young age. Also his net worth, properties, etc were found suddenly inflated and of much higher value. He got payed indeed.

The events of 2014 took down Ukrainian government. Tymoshenko was released BY RUSKY SPETSNAZ and delivered to Kyiv to the session of Security council where she ON THE RECORD demanded NO RESISTANCE in Crimea. With the OBVIOUS support TO HER from GRU, Russian federation thugs, NO ONE could object her.

This is how moscow started the war, annexing Crimea with no resistance by paralyzing UA gov and putting GAZPROM top assets in effective power position in Kyiv

One needs to know that former UA president Yanukovych had higher ratings in RUSSIA than putin had in 2013.

The “putin” regime is founded on the model of constant wars on perimeter to support their legitimacy. As soon as ratings fall- a new local war is prepared and executed: as in 2008 in Georgia, before it in the 90s a series of the war in Caucasus, before it in Transnistria etc

  7. We look at all of history of the Kyiv Russ: from establishing of it by the end of the 1st millenia A.D. and to this day of TODAY: ALWAYS there is a split, a schism in the society. It is the same differential as in left-right politics of sorts. Today it is seen as Russians versus Ukrainians. IN fact it is more like the righteous and wicked and is NEVER about the ethnicity.

As in Dynasty was always pro western and pro reforms. The opposition was always isolationist, eastward bound, authoritarian and even totalitarian minded(!).

The Kyiv-Moscow separation, in short, happened on the grounds of moscow union with Mongol invaders. This is how Moscow was infected with the destructive ideas from the start: legacy of Mongol Horde is still there flourishing as new.

IN all of Empire history we trace this schism. It was inherited in SOVIET REGIME indeed. This provided for a number of “steps back to capitalism”, from NEP to Khrushchev (a close friend and student of my relative) and to Perestroika

MAIN IDEA WE NEED TO GRASP. There are always them who act there as die hard communists (putin) and the other side of resistance- Ukrainians

By the way genetically Ukrainians and Slavic Russians are THE SAME TRIBE. But culturally they are very different.

Also: majority of Russian citizens SUPPORT UKRAINE. Recent polling we did showed 75% for immediate end to war. Only 25% support the war

Never underestimate the RESISTANCE. It is in majority and NOW WE HAVE HIGH TECH: drones to deliver EVEN nukes, yes we can. We don’t intend to,

but we will TEACH Americans HOW to do it.

The large ICBMs and mid range systems are obsolete: too visible, very vulnerable

Every one needs to learn that TODAY Ukrainian Forces are the strongest on Earth

We posses tech that can take down ANY fleet and airplane carriers with the stealth underwater drones.

The New British Military Doctrine calls for 40% in drones, 40% ion protection from drones and only 20% left for REGULAR arms of the previous century.

The above analysis, all of my comments- is what the strategy of the gov in Kyiv based upon.

    This is how we win

  8. Experts know it is here. Public will still need time to grasp.

A New number One power is here on Earth.

That power possesses millions (!) hours of AI recorded drone flights.

This is priceless data base to train ARMIES of drones.

No one has it. We do. USA will never win against Chinese without it. No one can match it. UKRAINE is number one military superpower NOW and the CAPACITIES are growing with every hour.

Besides tech, there are operators with ESPERIENCE, in 100s thousands of them. Also strategists, tacticians, engineers, AI and programming wizards, you name it. No power on Earth has something close to it.

May be next to Ukrainians are russians, who also gained some experience in fighting. Next go North Koreans and Chinese who both are present on the russian side TO LEARN. Americans, be aware: this IS your next war if you don’t use Ukrainian experience. Well, we have lots of American citizens fighting side by side BUT NOT EVEN CLOSE TO ENOUGH

  9. On Ukraine as a state and society: it is still handicapped by 70 years of communism. This is why we allowed the war and still are not over with it. It is Ukrainian internal weakness. Because it is still basically a communist regime, hidden but the same. Communist party mutated into organized criminal structures, but never lost a hold. This is WHY tymoshenko was so successful in destroying the state. We are still fighting and WAR is a medicine: the war changes perception and opens communist hidden agendas. Ukraine is HEALING but not healed yet. Many think that after the Victory it will be different.

We are confident that in 2025 old Ukrainian republic will die and a New one will arise

One last word HOW regime functions. Lets look under the hood.

There are about 275-300 positions, chairs, as in chief of customs and so on. They operate ALL OF processes in the state, economy, justice, all of it. This is how it is ran: the powerful people or any one who can PAY – goes to one of the 300 and gets EVERYTHJING they need

Today it is Zelensky and his Office who have the last word to the 300, basically they use the system for war needs. Since we fight successfully- obviously IT WORKS.

We MUST change the system for the future. We know how. Its in the Constitution that was changed several times on issue of Presidential power. The current set up will have to go, since it is COMMUNIST and will be destructive after war ends. For now it works and no one want to take a risk

  10. An alternative view on Anatoliy Golitsyn story. Since it all comes from the genius of James Jesus Angleton and since I WAS THERE in the 80s and EXPOSED to some internal “party” discussion , when my relatives were all informed of whats what. We observed in 1979-83 multiple elements of …. NEW rhetoric coming rom kremlin. Major issue was a fear of nuclear war. They were openly saying that war will destroy mankind and must be prevented al all costs. WE KNEW, WE OBSERVED THERE: that there is a hawkish opposition who wanted immediate rocket strike on USA.

Andropov HAD to stop it. He is Ukrainian from Stavropillya same as Gorby and number 3: Razumovsky, a CADRE chief of the Central committee. All three Ukrainians who KNEW

  11. The confrontation between hawks and normal people in 1983 turned into purge/liquidation of couple of dozens of generals and in 1984 :
    1) Golitsyn book came out and 2) Gorby came to London and stated: NO MORE COMMUNISM WE ARE CLOSING THE SHOP. Or we all will die from nuclear war.

IN this reading we consider Golitsyn book to be

a supportive operation , originated in Angleton brilliant mind,

to help NORMAL elements in USSR !!!!

to present a better alternative to the hawkish opposition plan to launch rockets.

It seemed to work along wit multiple OTHER measures:

Jeff spoke to Viktor Kulish, a top grade physicist, whose story is such :

Kulish in the 70s created a plan for star wars. It is presented in his book, 2011, CRC Press. Kulish gave the plan to top people. It was leaked to the Americans, indeed.

Kulish worked with mr Berezhnoi, a laser researcher , close friend to Brezhnev and Andropov. THEY WANTED THE STAR WAR system, as a great reason to postpone the Armageddon. A defensive system that will take many years to install. Yeah, right))

In 1981 on Ustinov, defense minister and stalin’s protégé, ordered: to murder that talented mr. Berezhnoi with a car bomb 2 blocks from Kremlin. Hawks considered him the largest obstacle to start a war immediately. They succeeded.

Once again: communists are always THERE. But they are min or group of terrorists AGAINST US ALL. We just need to get up and BE DONE WITH THEM. More we allocate resources- faster it is done.

Today it is all in the hands of UKRAINIANS. Support them and you will live long lives. Or else.

Jeffrey Nyquist is that rare genius who WARNS of the EXACT MOST DANGEROUS THING- remnants of communism that want to destroy civilization

We may disagree on points with Jeff,- but the bottom line is WE NEED TO ACT or we will all be dead soon. At this point only Ukrainians are fully awaken. Don’t waste time.

  13. FOLKS CONTEMPLATE THIS ABOVE CHINA HAS BEEN CAUGHT RED-HANDED IN AN ACTIVE PLOT SUPPLYING & PREPARATIONS FOR A BIOLOGICAL AGRO TERRORISM ATTACK ON THE U.S.!!!

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Michigan today (June 3 )announced federal charges against Yunqing Jian, 33, and Zunyong Liu, 34, a couple from China who are accused of smuggling a fungus described as a “dangerous biological pathogen” into the United States. Mr. Liu has been charged with conspiracy, smuggling goods, false statements, and visa fraud after it is alleged he smuggled a fungus called Fusarium Graminearum through Detroit Metropolitan Airport, so that he and his girlfriend, Ms. Jian could further study it in a laboratory at the University of Michigan. Fusarium Graminearum, described in scientific journals as a “potential agroterrorism weapon”, can cause a disease in wheat, barley, maize and rice that can wipe out crops and lead to vomiting and liver damage if consumed, with it responsible for “billions of dollars in economic losses worldwide each year.” The complaint further alleges that Mr. Liu and Ms. Jian received funding from the Chinese government for their research into the fungus while in China, with Ms. Jian herself said to be a loyal member of the Chinese Communist Party.

    1. This is an act of war. China under the Communist Party is at war with the United States. We must never forget this.

Has been for several years and so is Russia. Many don’t know it yet and the controlled opposition is not admitting it, because they are ordered not to by their Kremlin handlers…a communist deception until it is too late.

      2. People are griping about Trump because he wants to get ALL of the Chinese foreign students out. Biden actually encouraged Chinese foreign students, so here is another example where President Trump is taking a tough stand against the Chinese communists.

        1. CONCERNED Avatar
          CONCERNED

That point seriously remains highly disputable, the least to say, as for example the 50 Billion dollars agriculture deal Trump gave the CCP criminals, or that he is allowing the states to sell the land to the CCP controlled companies, near the US military bases and so on.

Now there is no guarantee that Trump will get the most dangerous CCP military assets out of the US, and so while he is trying to remove some communist students from the US that of itself is not enough in terms of national security, with which serious subject many laymen struggle to understand, realize and comprehend…in other terms, the US public is truisting what the media (communist penetrated) supplies them, disregarding whether it is is the truth and true analysis or not…

So far, in terns of national security, Trump alongside the KGB asset Biden, are both seriously behind and seriously inadequate in their steps, no matter how much are certain innexperienced voices trying to sugarcoat this extremely serious situation – and it will only get worse with time, as the Kremlin communist plan is progressing and nobody is stopping it, not Trump anyway, as he wants to make deals with the communist criminals instead of cutting them off and putting them on notice, the least he can do right away – and he has sold Ukraine’s sovereignty to the Kremlin Bolsheviks already.

I just googled that lady (partly using Polish search terms generated via Google Translate):

Mrs. Wisła Suraska (also spelled as Wiesława Surażska), born in 1947, was an anti-communist activist during the martial law years under General Jaruzelski, which earned her repeated prison terms, and later an economist, political scientist and politician with the Polish Civic Platform (Platforma Obywatelska). Eerily, she died, at the age of 58, on Sept. 25, 2005, the day of Poland’s general elections that year, in which she ran for a parliamentary seat. I couldn’t find any cause of death, only that she died in hospital, apparently Warsaw’s University Clinic at Stefana Banacha 1a. Strangely, there was also a second MP (or candidate) who died the day before the election (in a car accident), a Labour politician by name of Daniel Podrzycki.

(I remember well my one and so far only trip to Poland that year, and I felt a heavy dose of the old communism still there, every step of the way, and quite a number of people were afraid of speaking their minds …)

Hello Mister Nyquist. I have one consideration related to a possible attack against the Baltics. I am actually in Riga and no one here thinks an attack is imminent. There is also one important point to consider: Now there a lot of tourists, many of them from the US. Not only in Riga but also in Tallinn and Vilnius. With all these tourists I think it’s not possible to attack or cut them off.

“Most military experts say that nothing is going to happen during the next 90 days.” Does that not mean that Putin will move before that date, and catch “most military experts” flat footed? I know if I were Putin that’s what I would do. We are not ready.

Secondly, no more fooling around, if I were Putin, I would strike with nukes. Don’t second guess that the U.S. won’t react to defend a NATO country, not even as insignificant as Lithuania, don’t give us the chance to react, rather nuke our bases and some major cities to prevent us from even thinking of reacting. Then put boots on the ground to mop up those who survived the nukes.

The more Putin and Xi delay, the more prepared are we. The West is finally waking up, maybe “too little too late” to use a WWII phrase, but the rearmament is taking place.

        1. If I were a hair-trigger psychopath caught in this situation I would use nukes. But, alas, his SS-27 ICBM test failed today. Russia may need more time to get its act together.

I told Jeff that communism will be done finita by Ukrainian nationalists . Because the other side wants to fight us and we will have to put them down.

We also discussed China since i was dating a relative of the top Chinese guy who was even higher above Mao at some point. IN that conversation we analytically discovered together another layer of ccp deception regarding what they do behind the curtain. Later proved to be true, at least to me.

Again: it is no puzzle at all , no secret not even unknown to them who actually understand the Ukrainian deep narration.

      1. Yes.

      2. nukes need to be delivered. At this moment ALL delivery methods you know from the last century are obsolete with new tech developed by Ukrainians lately. A charge of significant power can be delivered via stealth drone under water or semi submerged or on robotic small ground vehicle or the airborne drone or hybrid rocket drone etc. Old ways not so good anymore, can be intercepted. IN nuclear war planning we think of who will do more precise hits exactly onto the most valuable targets. E emy may also shoot but they ALL, their ALL valuable targets will be gone for sure and they know it. They are not able to intercept most advance gens of tech and we are always ahead. This is how nuclear strategy is today. I am very much familiar with all possible theater or strategic , etc nuclear planning as it was BEFORE , so for me it is all obvious. Also lasers.

          1. Smart got it , stupid will get it in weeks. General Volodymyr Gavryliv, UA military attaché in USA for decades, commented today THE EXACT SAME CONCLUSION. Also USA forces are under the same threat from any force who would like to try. We need TOTAL, i mean 100% revamping of USA defense and security Universe on the most fundamental levels and ALL AROUND the rest, ALL old have to go NOW or we will be destroyed in well, years if not months. It is a window of opportunity for ANY INTELLIGENT force with funds UNDER a billion $.

  21. Hi Jeff,
Great synopsis of the history. I know you have written of these things many times, but each essay has some new detail or analysis that adds to all of our understanding.

I haven’t gotten to the videos, but I have 2 questions. Is it possible to search your older essays by key words, including the comments? I want to go back and find some references and am having trouble.
    2. Regarding Putin potentially ordering a nuclear strike, how likely do you think if he gave an order that it would be obeyed? In your essay, you demonstrate how the intelligence leaders superceded the army generals in strategy and power. Given that their strategic weapons are probably not well maintained and have not performed well in recent tests, do you think that the men on the ground would not obey launching orders?

    1. Lady from Liberty Garage: i do not remember writing on this topic, though I vaguely remember a rumor along those lines. But there has been no confirmation of such an order being refused. It would be an unusual event because i think they will only launch such an attack while claiming they have been seriously threatened; and then it would be an all-out attack on us, because of “the axe theory” which holds that you use your most terrible weapon first. And you never let the other guy survive the first blow if he has an axe himself. You have to kill the USA immediately in that event. The idea of limited use of nukes, or one-off use is not really something they would do (according to Viktor Suvorov)). What about scaring the West with a nuke attack on Kyiv? This might terrorize NATO. On the other hand, Moscow would lose a lot politically, and the Russian people might turn against their government. Very dangerous indeed. It’s possible but would be very stupid. Their strategists know why it is stupid. But many things in this war have been stupid and surprise me. I think when such an attack comes it will be carefully staged psychologically. The button will be pushed.

Solovey claims that Putin was very close to using nukes in the March of 2022, when it became obvious that Kyiv could not be taken in three days. And there were people who stopped him. He hints that some orders were not followed and people punished. I do not remember exact wording and can’t find it now. He also claims that Putin is dead and Russia is run by a politburo and a Putin’s double, who obeys politburo decisions. One of his arguments is that if Putin was alive, he would already have used nukes.

      1. A very odd claim from Solovey. Voice recognition software could readily expose a Putin double if deployed to speak. Anyone with technical knowledge could do it. The proof would be indisputable and the embarrassment enormous. Solovey is rather fantastical.

        1. Valentina Cherniuk Avatar

The Japanese actually did prove with voice analysis, that Putin has doubles, which does not prove though that the original is dead. But that was not my point. I shared insider information that there was a moment when nuclear strike was very close to happening and was prevented by disobedience of subordinates. And while I find insider sources interesting, I still take them with a grain of salt. I always mention the source so that people can decide to believe it or not.

          1. Authoritative sources for this are hard to find.

          2. Valentina, thank you for sharing this. Very interesting. I read the essay written by the Lithuanian Foreign Minister that was linked to this blog. I thank that commenter who shared it. In his scenario, the hesitancy of the European allies to respond to Russian deceit and aggression resulted in escalation. On this note, I heard a podcast recently posted on Conservatives4Ukraine that the pattern of avoidance and then overreaction is predictable in history of warfare. This author advocates preventive measures. But warfare is for sure never predictable. Just like the French railroad engineers who saved France’s national art treasures from being smuggled into Germany in WWII, there are always going to be people who will stand up to the bullies of this world. I just pray that some of those brave souls are Russians who do not want to start a nuclear war.

There are parts that decay that need replacing and it’s not possible to predict 100% that decades old ones are all functional. They need to be blown up occasionally. If anything works in Russia and China military its the nukes. Any source claiming Russian nuclear tests failed is likely a Communist source. Unless we’ve managed to infiltrate spies into Russian nuclear arms testing. Russia isn’t testing above ground.

Mr. Nyquist, the caller from the latter half of today’s segment on John Moore’s show has always been combative, condescending, and continues to mis-represent your position despite your repeated attempts to clarify them (e.g. he insists that you *want* nuclear war). He is obviously not here to engage with you in good faith – instead choosing to belittle you when you grew frustrated. This man does not deserve your time and energy – nor does he deserve such from any of your listeners. I was disappointed that John Moore didn’t simply terminate the exchange when it became clear that no meaningful discussion would be forthcoming.

    1. Yes. I know the caller. He called last week and pretended to worship me, but it was mocking satire. Very sophisticated. Today he would ask a question, interrupt my answer, bully me, say I was interrupting him and imply I am a psycho by saying I want a nuclear war. This is a highly manipulative and aggressive person. I believe he rehearsed what he said. He is not stupid and has some training of some kind. Being in public I find that this type of agitator exists, and is inevitable. We have had several trolls here on the site who are sophisticated like that. They mimic a certain type of rightwing person, and pretend to be sincere, but they are too sophisticated in their dishonesty to be sincere. I would apologize for shouting at him, but I do shout people down when they call me bad names and try to talk over me, constantly interrupting my answers, aggressively blaming me for interrupting them. Bullying is not to be allowed. My only weapon, when this game is played on me, is to shout so they cannot interrupt again. It is unfortunate, but there was no other way to stop the bullying. If the producer won’t cut him off, then I raise my volume and do it myself. I have experienced this kind of attack repeatedly over the last 28 years of publicly warning people about Russia and China. No anonymous caller has the right to mischaracterize me, mock me, and then talk over me when I try to answer. These issues I raise are life and death, and demand only honestly and sincerity. That caller is a bad person who misused his freedom of speech, and we are all endangered by people of that type. If we want the truth in a debate, then people who use as hominem attacks must be shouted down when they prevent a full reply to their attacks. You cannot have a conversation with such people.

Are you paid to write here? I question you because looking at your volume of output, you are producing as much content on this blog as JR Nyquist. Last blog, you had over 30 posts, and word count matched JRNyquist’s essay in length.

Here are some facts for you to ponder. Journalist and historian Mr. Bill O’Reilly just returned from China, where he was invited to speak to a group of government officials at an organization supporting China’s prosperity. He was asked to talk about Donald Trump. Mr. O’Reilly has known Trump for 35 years and has written a book titled The United States of Trump. He is also publishing a book in September on Vladimir Putin called Confronting Evil. He knows Trump personally as well. He told the Chinese that they needed to stop their plans for world domination because Trump and our government weren’t having any of it. By the way, Mr. O’Reilly is the best nonfiction writer in the world!

When Mr. O’Reilly returned last Saturday, he briefed President Trump for 30 minutes on his visit with the Chinese government officials. Tomorrow, Trump is going to talk with Zi of China. All this is to say is that these are facts. What you write on Trump are opinions based on little evidence and lots of conjecture.

Mr. O’Reilly has known Trump a long time and understands him. If Trump were a communist or under the Kremlin’s thumb, O’Reilly would be onto it. O’Reilly HATES evil Communists as mush as you say that you do. O’Reilly, like you, is also a devout Catholic. O’Reilly believes we must help Ukraine and stop evil Communist Putin. He says that Trump has the bigger picture of Russia, China, the USA, Ukraine, Iran, Israel how they all fit together. He did say that Trump overestimated his mojo with Putin.

But you have an agenda of casting doubts on our president. I don’t know what your true agenda is, but i do not believe that anyone who feels compelled to twist every action of Trump into something nefarious is to be trusted. You are not for this country when you create so much conspiracy and use anonymous sources.

In fact, your writing echoes (in a Catholic version) a commenter who hung out here way back. JRN called him out as a closet Communist posing as a pious Orthodox. I think his pen name was Vlad. Are you familiar with The Catholic Vlad?

      Dear Madam,

you still have a lot to learn about the truth regarding the communist methos and the moral obligation of elected leaders NOT to lead the free country into the hands of these communist criminals.

Your assertions about this posting is highly innacurate and in fact a mere speculation that comes from a absolutely evident innexperience in matters of the KGB and communist strategy and their evil methods, blindly to suggest that Mr. Trump is on the level when he has already caused pro-communist pro-Russian advancement in matters and strategy that Moscow wants to implement, and his high level visits to the Kremlin in 1987 and 1996, his communist espionage connected wife Ivana, and his cooperation with the KGB and CCP through his helps that he already gave them, including Ukraine.

It is the principle of the truth that you do miss and avoid at this point, by your assertions.

No, we do not receive any payments and would not accept any, as this is a matter of principle for us to wirte here and try to inform people about the analysis what has taken place in their country and in this world and why it is so. Your own conclusions are innacurate, based on pasion and lacking proper reason and foundations of the truth.

You still have a lot to learn, maybe you should re-read Golitsyn and Gen. Sejna’s writtings, that would help, and then Dr. Douglass”s writtings, and then ask some questions why it is important for the Kremlin to have controlled oppostion member, a committted communist traitor, to be elected to the highest offices in the western countries, including the US, and why it is that it is morally evil to have anything to do with the communist countries in the first place BECAUSE 1) they are illegitimate governments that came to power by electoral fraud or terror (or both), 2) that in order to prevent the still free country to fall into the Russian etc. communist hands, the country must be united and fully anti-communist and NOT to elect leaders that have pro-communist past (as Mr. Trump was highly interested in US nuclear disarmaent in the 1980s and went to the Kremlin, with the KGB invitation, under evidently deceptive legend that he wanted to build a hotel near the Red Square etc., his contactss and dealing with KGB assets in the US and so on), 3) that the national security of the country must never be compromised by securing an economic deal with the communists, because by doing so they will use that advancement and economic help from the west to build more nuclear and bio-chem weaponry and to boost their military buildup to destroy the freedom on this plannet and establish communism instead.

IF YOU DO NOT understand this point of principle, and if you miss the facts about Mr. Trump, when he has failed to act when it was required of him to act, when he had sold Ukraine to the KGB criminals from the Kremllin, when he in fact tried to get a sovereign country to give up its territory in order to satisfy his “deal making ability”, which in fact is a complete failure at this point, and that it is truly morally evil to be engaged in such a deplorable activity in the first place, and if you refuse to consider the fact that Mr. Trump has in fact fulfilled the Soviet long-term plans that Gen. Sejna has written about n his book regarding the US and what Moscow intends for the country, including US withdrawal from defending Europe and being actively involved in NATO, then there is nothing that can be done in your regard – you do rule your conclusions based on the MAGA passions and come to fantastic and highly innacurate assertions, regarding even these postings, while you are willing to look the other way when the US president signs deals with communist murderers and helps them to keep the war in Ukraine going by forcing his morally corrupt deals on Ukraine’s government and attempted to terminate the military help US was giving (as little as it was under Biden, that long-term KGB asset).

It is truly sad to watch the level of moral decay in this world, and when people do compromise on the truth, and even have the audacity to attempt to question whether a person is true Catholic or not, them being outside the Catholic Church, that of itself is the height of heretical audacity and a sacrilegious invective.

If you want references – read the Encyclical Letter of Pope Pius XI Divini Redemptoris (not from the Vatican website as it is corrupted there and rewritten by the Novus Ordo Sect). That will tell you that it is truly evil to have anything to do with any atheistic communist entity or government in the first place, and it is an excommunicable offense under the Catholic Church Law BTW, which a Protestant heretic cannot grasp as such, even though it is recorded in the Holy Scripture in several places.

You already have a history of insults against this person, and now come your fabricated assertions, which are even more offensive, them not factual nor true. We do forgive you because you truly don’t know what you are doing to your soul by being like this.

If you honestly research the published analysis about Mr. Trump, and still refuse to accept the facts that surround him and his KGB contacts and visits and deals with the communists, then you have a serious problem with principles of the truth – which cannot be compromised on, ever. And BTW, that Trump expells some CCP students does not guarantee that the PLA saboteurs and military personnel including special forces are protected and in place to start the terrorist sabotage etc. – and the commies use the student for spying, but the special forces for murder and terrorism…and they have all means to remain where they are, and with their weapons ready.

“We”? Is that why you are so prolific a writer, because you are plural?

Secondly, how can we be sure you are not trolls? Your voice is divisive. You attack people, both on this list and the reputations of others not part of these discussions.

The quickest way to destroy Christianity is to make it a state religion. Shortly after Constantine made Christianity the quasi state religion in Rome, the church became infected with all sorts of heresies and traditions imported from pagan religions. Some of those are still evident. One of those is priestly celibacy, imported from Greek philosophy, contradicted by Scripture. There are more. Your attacks on us who follow the Bible instead of Roman Catholic traditions drive a wedge between us and harms our unity to oppose godless communism.

          Mr. Ortiz,
you are HARDLY in any possition of analytical sincerity, much less in matters of the true Catholic Church, and Her discipline and Canon Law, and so your assertions here are not only heretical, but also highly insulting to Catholic ears.

Moreover, you have just spent several posting during the previous publication from Mr. Nyquist, arguing with him about the JFK conspiracies as if you were authority on it also…and thus dicredited yourself thoroughly.

The ONLY people truly insterested in such assertions are either people who seek contraversies instead of the truth, or communist provocatuers, and moreover, as the Doctor of the Church, the Angelic Doctor St, Thomas Aquinas teaches, it is impossible to discern the truth without being in the state of sanctifying grace in your soul, which thus excludes heretics, especially ones that disregard the truth about the infallibility of the Catholic Church as Divine Institution, with the supernatural guidance and protection of the Holy Ghost, and then foment such anti-Catholic rhetoric that is not only heretical, but outright blasphemous.

And nobody is driving a wedge anywhere, because those who love the truth don’t have wedges to use, because the truth cannot be substituted by lies and fraudulent opinions, and out conscience is clear on this pont.

            Ma’am,

You are using intentional detractions, implied and carefully crafted.

If you were intelectually honest and true CHristian, then you would fear God’s punishment for insinuating something like this, and truly, you have no idea at all on the subject.

We don’t keep anybody’s records, it is the memory of them that is used to make the points, when such derogatory and anti-Catholic statements are used by you or Mr. Ortiz (him even more), while you are constantly insinuating your discredit of this publication as if you were some kind of anti-communist analitical expert in the matter and you had the last word, because you simply don’t believe the analysis about Mr. Trump to be possible, without offering any substantial points of argument to the contrary, knowing absolutely nothing about the KGB methods and policies of espionage recruitment and their strategy, you do simply disagree based on your emotions and not factual opinion or questions, disregarding the analysis of Golitsyn and testimony of various other defectors, and to assure you, at this point it sound very very suspicious why you do continue with your such misguided rhetoric at this point, and highly dishonest it is indeed.

Your misguided and highly erroneous assertions will not make the situation about Mr. Trump any more clearer, but confusing the more for the rest of the readers, which means his pro-communist pro-Kremlin history and deeds will the more remain obscure, which will only serve the advancement of the Soviet communist military and subversive operations and strategy.

One day, when they actually begin with their communist mayhem (and they will begin), you may find yourself among their victims and that is not desirable, not to this entity, out of charity – we don’t want you to be a victim of the communist terror, nor anybody else who loves freedom and liberty of conscience.

At this point your erroneous and subjective assertions are evidently part of your intellectual dishonesty and detracting imagination, for which we do forgive you, but God will still require your SINCERE mea culpa, conversion and full ammendment and that has to come from Him….

But your self-righteous mission, based solely on female intuitions and emotions, and your assertions, which are highly insulting, that of itself illustrates the innability of loving the truth, and being able to admit the difficult parts of it as the reality of the situation, which – and this is sincere conclusion, requires honesty and sincerity in front of God….think about it !

          4. Please stop. This exchange is getting too personal with insults. This is why I don’t want religious disputations brought here. This is about uniting against a common enemy, not to make new enemies out of allies.

Are you suggesting that when one gets insulted by such deragatory untrue statements that one has to keep silent ? Let us hope that is not the case !

          6. CONCERNED: I was followed the discussion, though not too closely. My impression has been that you are been stingingly scornful of anyone who disagrees with you, My impression is that you have been talking down to her, and your rhetorical style has not won her over. She disagrees with you about President Trump. It’s important that you explain things in a polite way, without implied insults to the other persons dignity. When we disagree, the greater the disagreement, the greater and more delicate must be the form of address if we want to have a productive discussion. None of us agree 100 percent with each other, because that is the way life makes us. We are different and we differ. I hope everybody can be kind whatever the differences might be.

Mr. Nyquist, this is all understood, but if you remember it was this woman that began the accusations, calling us a communist, or suggesting it, then false anti-communist and such like insults, so then what has one left to do when this is happening – and evidently she doesn’t know any better and doesn’t have the understanding of what is truly going on, neither has she any sources from still living defectors from communism as we do, so what has one to do but to reply that this female had ovestepped the limits herself.

We would be gladly positive and polite, but when people treat us this way, what can one do, because she was trying to discredit the whole analysis, and without any substantial argument on her side, including her lack of understanding about Trump and his KGB and Kremlin contacts and so on.

It is truly sad to watch, but what else can be done but to aswer such insults and false accusations with stern replies ? One simply cannot ignore it either as the truth is at stake.

We get your point, but she and Mr. Ortiz have done much more than just disagreed….they both tried to discredit the analysis, which BTW they don’t understand nor wish to understand.

          8. Your views are so strident, she wondered if you were trying to disrupt the site. That’s where the communism remark came from. Disrupters have tried this tactic before. It is imperative to be a model of politeness in representing your views. And you should never refer to a lady in the terms you have used, referring to female emotionalism or other demeaning expressions. This puts you in the wrong no matter what she says.

Add in their insults and attacks on anyone who is a Baptist, Presbyterian or Lutheran. Their Roman Catholicism sounds more like a conspiracy theory divorced from history that no one but they can recognize. Yet they are dogmatic that we are mentally deficient if we don’t agree with them in every detail. To me, it seems as if they want to tear us apart. In real life, there are times that we need to ally ourselves with people with whom we have strong disagreements, in order to work towards a common goal. And in that effort we don’t insult or belittle our allies.

Don’t get me wrong, they have brought up some thought provoking points, but I wonder if their presence is a net plus or a net minus?

It is sometimes useful, in a limited way, to engage with them to understand their tactics and know how they operate. But it is not a debate, it is not an honest exchange in which we can learn anything about the subject under discussion. That is what I have learned from doing it. To say Churchill was a traitor, for example, makes him sound like a parody of an anticommunist. It is import to be clear, sensible, and measured. It is not easy to be a stable person when you are upset all the time. I think we have to accept what we cannot change, and work as best we can to understand and clarify. It is about clarity and truth. It is not always helpful to be strident or angry. But Truth stirs all kinds of anger when fearful issues are brought forward. CONCERNED is angry. He is from a former communist country, Does he have a reason to be angry. Yes, he does! I alienate and anger people merely by disagreeing with the anti-Ukrainian narratives of the MAGA populists like Tucker Carlson. The mainstream thinks I am a kook. One has to be very circumspect. Even then, you get people who sound unbalanced because they are full of blame or anger or some other strong emotion. What is the IQ of an emotion? We must avoid emotions and upsetting ourselves. We need calm reflection.

In regards to Churchill and his betrayal of about 40 million by then still free Eastern people to Stalin at Yalta is not an act of an anti-communist person, that at least should be understood.

Moreover Churchill had thretened the Polish PM Mikolaczyk when the PM objected that he will not give the Polish sovereign territory to Stalin, that from that moment Churchill will communicated with the communist false unelected “government” which was then stationed in one of the Polish cities occupied by the Red Army…

The point of this was to compare (at the time it was) Trump’s betrayal of Zelensky and Ukraine during the WH fiasco, so that the situation (the princple of it) was similar and quite frankly very evil in regards to the outcome.

To add – there is the difference between Anger and Holy Ire – Anger, if not righteous, is a serious sin in front of God, but Holy Ire, when the honor of God and His Church get injured by blasphemy and other attacks etc., to defend the honor of God is oblicatory for every true Catholic, as even the 1917 Code of Canon Law stipulates.

So this entity is NOT angry with such people when they use insulting and untrue assertions, but saddened that this world has truly decayed this far…but then we know that God is in charge and that He sees all this and know who are truly His and who are not.

So then the Scriptural reference is the following passage (Douay-Rheims) :

            2 Tim. 3 : 1-7 etc. :

Know also this, that, in the last days, shall come dangerous times. 2 Men shall be lovers of themselves, covetous, haughty, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, wicked, Without affection, without peace, slanderers, incontinent, unmerciful, without kindness, Traitors, stubborn, puffed up, and lovers of pleasures more than of God: Having an appearance indeed of godliness, but denying the power thereof. Now these avoid.

For of these sort are they who creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, who are led away with divers desires: Ever learning, and never attaining to the knowledge of the truth…

No religious wars here, please. My blood pressure is already elevated, and I am feeling a great deal of stress from all these controversies. Please respect my rules.

          23. Churchill was fighting a coalition war against Hitler, and Stalin was his war-time ally. It was not a time of easy decisions, or clear-cut politics. If anything, Churchill sought to keep Roosevelt for giving away more to Stalin than was given away at the time. The tide of feeling on the Allied side was to support the Soviet Union. This was a universal feeling among the Allied countries.

          24. CONCERNED Avatar
            CONCERNED

We have already been through all this, but what PM Mikolajczyk wrote about his dealings with Churchill and how rude and unjust Churchill was to him, brokering the Yalta deal, that of itself was the morally corrupt and truly evil thing to do, and Churchill nor Roosevelt had any problem with it, although they knew what kind of a monster Stalin truly was, and the British decoded the German code and learned about the NKVD Katyn masacre when the German army found the mass graves of the Polish officers (about 15 or more thousand murdered by the Red Army or NKVD or both), so Churchill knew about it also.

The UK and US had the chance to win the war without Stalin, they chose to include him, but they still could have resist him at Yalta, and both Churchill and Roosevelt in fact sold the Catholic Poland and Czechoslovakia and parts of Romania to that Bolshevik monster. You cannot do evil and justify your good intentions, because the evil remains done and accomplished – and 40 millions free people (this is estimation only) became slaves of Stalin, just because Churchill wanted to have a Russian front to fight Hitler.

          25. The UK and US could not have won the war against Hitler without Stalin. That is not military reality. The Soviet Army was massive, and so was the Germany Army. The Armies of the U.S. and U.K. were insufficient to defeat Germany alone. Go out and find an Order of Battle for the combatants in1943 or 44. You will see what I mean.

          28. Concerned, I have long thought as Jeff stated, that you are someone who lived under Communism, and maybe even resisted it in your country.

As you know, I am no Catholic, and you come on too strongly with that. Just as I am positive you are no troll, I am just as positive that Lady and RO are believers in Christ.

You should allow them liberty of conscience, just as you are allowed it.

But, you are right that without God (the one true God of the Bible), we cannot hope to defeat Communism.

And you are right, we should have *no* dealings with them, thus giving them legitimacy; but rather treat them as the scum they are.

And you make many good points in everything you say on Communism, and I personally think Trump “errs” too much on the side of Russia and stated Communist goals for it to be a coincidence.

I think either it’s as you say, and he willingly aids them; or they have really got something big on him; or his ego and ignorance have allowed him to be easily manipulated and maneuvered into the things he is doing.

I respect Lady as a fellow believer and Patriot, but I think she is wrong in her view of Trump. However, she does make a case for her belief, however much I think she is wrong on it.

You do come on very strongly, though. Many here respect what you say, but it’s as Jeff said the other week, you come on too strongly with it. You don’t have to dominate the Comments section.

      ——
Mr. O-Reilly is an excommunicated Novus Ordo Sect member and thus not Catholic, under Canon 2314, 1917 Code of Canon Law, he does NOT practice the Catholic Faith, which is nothing else but Catholic Tradition, and so he is outside the Catholic Church. Mr. O’Reilly is not a good source of analysis as he himself does not understand the long-term communist strategy and has never accepted the fact that the whole collapse of communism was and is KGB orchestrated fraud and deception.

So such a person is highly discredited source of analysis about another as Mr. Trump, and so to attempt to source Mr. O’Reilly as “anti-communist” and “accurate” is plainly a miss and nothing but innacurate conclusion.

When you have an elected leader who does not say that Russian communists are trying to take over the whole world and that’s why they orchestrated the false collapse of communism in the first place, with the help of their own KGB controlled agents in the various then communist countries of Eastern Europe, and when such leaders fail (or purposely allow themselves and the country) to accept communist advances and publicly propose pro-communist policies, including making deals with the communist countries, as Trump wants to have more business with Russia etc. as he has stated and indicated, then you have a serious problem. PLEASE learn and avoid official sources, as Fox News and any other such like entity as they don’t report the truth, only what is the institutionalized lie and communist deception instead. READ Golitsyn, he has said so, and it is the truth.

You absolutelly miss the essential points about communist strategy and methods and deception.

          Very highly connected.

Mr. O’Reilly does not believe and had said nothing about the false collapse of communism, and if he knew the communist lies and evil mentality, he would not have gone to China to obtain any information because he would know NOT to trust atheistic criminals and as the Church always taught it, he would obediently have avoided them…

Moreover he had said nothing about the illegitimacy of this Vatican occupying apostate sect, and so he belongs to them and had accepted that apostate new religion that is NOT Catholic,

He was with Fox News just about 4 or 5 years ago, so it is not that far back. Not that some of it he may have correct, but that he says nothing about the fact that Russia is and fully remains a communist run country and that the US must never have anything to do with communist governments, and so that alone proves that he doesn’t understand the truth nor belives what Golitsyn said and proven about the Perestroika fraud – and as so called “Catholic” he would know about Our Lady of Fatima and that this aostate Sect cannot validly consecrate Russia to Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart as the true Pope suppose to do (and it is too late now)…and so what Mr. O’Reilly says about is is just purely academic and mostly immaterial at this point – he is NOT a good source to rely for good analysis about the Bolsheviks, as is Mr. Nyquist etc. on the other hand.

Moreover true Catholics are not interested in what members of this Sect think or say, it is enough for us to know that this Sect and this Prevost person are excommunicated apostate impostors and NOT the Catholic Church.

          1. It is difficult to know the smallest thing, and to be certain, in these larger things. There are many precedents in the history of the Catholic Church that confirm the supernatural gifts of God given to the mystics, and the gifts were so extraordinary that the mystics were incapable to describe them in human terms, because there are no human terms that can be used to describe the gifts of God….

And of course when people claim all kinds of things and then are proven wrong, God withholds the truth from them so that they don’t see that they are wrong until it become apparent by that error itself, and if they admit it that they were wrong, then that is a promissing point and a sign of humility, which is a virtue – and so such people may, by the grace of God, be given the truth and amend, convert (perhaps) and obtain even more from Him, by which they will know that they have made the right choice and that it was and is worth it.

(For reference you can look up the miraculous conversion of Alphonse Ratisbone, quoted below – of coures today one has to make that essential distinction between what the Catholic Faith truly is, i.e. Catholic Tradition, and the NOvus Ordo Sectarian new religion, into which, if one converts, it will profit nothing as it is an apostasy and leads only to Hell…and most likely it was invented in the KGB directorate to try to destroy the Church from within….) :

Born in 1814, Alphonse Ratisbonne was from a family of wealthy, well-known Jewish bankers in Strasbourg, France. In 1827, Alphonse’s older brother, Thèodore, converted to Catholicism and entered the priesthood, thus breaking with his anti-Catholic family whose hopes now lay in the young Alphonse. At 27, Alphonse was intelligent and well mannered. He had already finished his law degree, and decided to travel to Italy before marrying and assuming his responsibilities in the family business. However, God had other plans for him.

While in Rome, Alphonse visited works of art, and strictly out of cultural curiosity, a few Catholic churches. These visits hardened his anti-Catholic stance, and nourished his profound hatred for the Church. He also called on an old schoolmate and close friend, Gustave de Bussières. Gustave was a Protestant and several times had tried, in vain, to win Alphonse over to his religious convictions. Alphonse was introduced to Gustave’s brother, Baron de Bussières, who had recently converted to Catholicism and become a close friend of Father Thèodore Ratisbonne. Because of the Baron’s Catholicism and closeness with his turncoat brother, Alphonse greatly disliked him.

On the eve of his departure, Alphonse reluctantly fulfilled his social obligation to leave his calling card at the Baron’s house as a farewell gesture. Hoping to avoid a meeting, Alphonse intended to leave his card discreetly and depart straight away, but was instead shown into the house.
            Miraculous Medal

The Baron greeted the young Jew warmly, and before long, had persuaded him to remain a few more days in Rome. Inspired by grace, the Baron insisted Alphonse accept a Miraculous Medal and copy down a beautiful prayer: the Memorare. Alphonse could hardly contain his anger at his host’s boldness of proposing these things to him, but decided to take everything good-heartedly, planning to later describe the Baron as an eccentric.

During Alphonse’s stay, the Baron’s close friend, Count de La Ferronays, former French ambassador to the Holy See and a man of great virtue and piety, died quite suddenly. On the eve of his death, the Baron had asked the Count to pray the Memorare one hundred times for Alphonse’s conversion. It is possible that he offered his life to God for the conversion of the young Jewish banker.

A few days later, the Baron went to the church of Sant’Andrea delle Fratte to arrange for his friend’s funeral. Alphonse reluctantly went with him, all the while making violent criticisms of the Church and mocking Catholic practices. When they arrived, the Baron entered the sacristy to arrange the funeral while Alphonse remained in the church.
            Conversion of Alphonse Ratisbonne

When the Baron returned just a few minutes later, the young man was gone. He searched the church, and soon discovered his young friend kneeling close to an altar, weeping. Alphonse himself tells us what happened in those few minutes he waited for the Baron: “I had only been in the church a short while when, all of a sudden, I felt totally uneasy for no apparent reason. I raised my eyes and saw that the whole building had disappeared. Only one side chapel had, so to say, gathered all the light. In the midst of this splendor, the Virgin Mary appeared standing on the altar. She was grandiose, brilliant, full of majesty and sweetness, just as she is in the Miraculous Medal. An irresistible force attracted me to her. The Virgin made a gesture with her hand indicating I was to kneel.”

When de Bussières talked to Alphonse, he no longer found a Jew, but a convert who ardently desired baptism. The news of such an unexpected conversion immediately spread and caused a great commotion throughout Europe, and Pope Gregory XVI received the young convert, paternally. He ordered a detailed investigation with the rigor required by canon law, and concluded that the occurrence was a truly authentic miracle.

Alphonse took the name Maria Alphonse at baptism, and, wishing to become a priest, was ordained a Jesuit in 1847. After some time, and at the suggestion of Pope Pius IX, he left the Jesuits and joined his brother Thèodore in founding the Congregation of Our Lady of Sion, dedicated to the conversion of the Jews. Father Theodore spread his congregation throughout France and England, while Father Maria Alphonse went to the Holy Land. In Jerusalem, he established a house of the congregation on the plot of land where the praetorium of Pilate had formerly stood.

The two brothers died in 1884, both famed and well-loved for their exceptional virtues.

Dear Jeff and Friends, very unfortunate and I would say even sinister turn of events Down Under. It seems that the process of CRETINISATION of EUNUCHALIA is now completed as the brainless and confused Aussie mate delivered a stunning victory to the criminal syndicate consisting of Labor Party, Greens, “trade unions” and a socio-political caricature called “The Voice”. Although I don’t believe that the elections were honest or fair (there are some whispers circulating in social media about numerous irregularities during the voting process) there is no major political player here to have a courage to challenge the outcome or even to talk about that. Equally, my former party United Australian Party failed to secure even a single seat in a lower house of “Parliament” so the only figure representing that party is Senator Ralph Babet.
The Labor’s win is harder to stomach considering that during the last three years of Labor/Greens reign the Australians experienced an unprecedented fall in living standard and the economic situation is expected to get even more severe.
To make things worse, the almost eternal coalition (quasi conservative coalition for that matter) of Liberals and Nationals has split while wading in the sewer of mutual recriminations.
Recognizing that there is not any viable opposition, the Labors is moving quickly to consolidate its power and make it, practically, permanent.
One of the examples is the case of the so called “Voice”
Two years ago, Labors/Green coalition made an attempt to infect the Australian “Parliament” with the political caricature called “Voice” that consist, at least in theory, of the people representing the so called “indigenous people of Australia. It was founded by the quasi Aboriginal and rabid Marxist Thomas Mayo. That attempt failed in the nationwide referendum.
Now the corrupt leadership of Labor Party is again signaling, against the result of referendum its plans, to plant “Voice” as a permanent “advisory” body in Parliament.
If they succeed, the Labor and its allies will have a formal and practically eternal majority, and the conservatives will be pushed into the corner without any significant power.
Needless to say, that Labor’s win has catalyzed the entire spectrum of political and social activities on the Left towards the destruction of Christianity and Christianity based Western civilization.
If they succeed, in a few years, there will be very little left of Australia as we know her today.

This is all extremely heartbreaking news! Some of my relatives emigrated to Australia in the sixties. Similar to Canada (also the U.S.), Australia was almost something like a “promised land” in those days. And they were all incredibly grateful to Australia and were eager to become 100% Australians. I myself travelled Ozzieland in 1988 (in a big road trip of more than four months!), and I certainly wouldn’t have imagined the country to become an experimental laboratory of the hard left! People were hard-working, easy-going, humorous, also very hospitable. It was, by and large, a free country, and it was great! Lots of open space, lots of sunshine, lots of opportunity! (In those days, Ayers Rock was still named Ayers Rock, and one was allowed to climb it too!)

Maybe Australians had it “too good” for too long and forgot about their creator. And now comes the punishment, the chastisement – because that’s what Marxism is. On the other hand, when one looks at Europe, especially Western Europe, churches stand mostly empty and the Church doesn’t know any more what to do with them. A number of them have already been given to the Serbian-Orthodox church, and God knows how many might one day be turned into mosques (or Sikh or Hindu temples). And so the chastisement will be global …

Yes, Dear Observer, it is as unfortunate as it is irreversible.
I have written about it in the not-so-distant past. The main factor that contributes and in fact determines our slide into (self-inflicted) destruction is the ABSURDITY of the so called “universal voting rights”. That nonsense allows all the PARASITES, anti-social elements and outright criminals to take part in a “democratic” process and in the election in particular.
Upon winning the power, PARASITO-FASCIST BEAST begins immediately plundering wealth created by the PEOPLE OF SMART AND HONSET WORK, corrupting in the process the legal system and the law itself to make sure that the plunderers will never be held accountable for their crimes and where it is possible to make their hold to power permanent.
My own EUNUCHALIA which has now degraded itself to CRETINISTAN is the best example of that rule. However, the political arrangement in Australia in that matter is even worse as the voting is compulsory. And deliberately so, otherwise the large chunk of pro Labor ORCS wouldn’t even bother to make at trip to the polling stations.
As long we allow this nonsense of the “universal voting rights” to persist, the hard and smart working people will be forced into eternity to work like a mythological Sisyphus.
One hundred years ago, Henry Ford, as the first industrialist (and not the communists or socialists) introduced five days working week understanding that the well-rested and happy worker would be more efficient and productive.
Today, with all this amazing technological progress, we not only could but, in fact, we should work no more than four days, six hours a day per week and liv, perhaps, five times materially better than we live today.
It is our eternal tolerance of a PARASITE and our permission given to “IT” to participate in the democratic process and in the election in particular.
Unfortunately, the elimination of a PARASITE and his CARETAKER from the voting system will not be possible without the major bloodshed but, in the end, we will have no other choice but do it.
If we allow ourselves to get infected with a TAPEWORM, we have no choice but to kill it or it will kill us.

You’re right, Bogdan. Without the Marxist subversion, mass immigration from Third World countries (not the least thanks to the feminist madness and subsequent demographic collapse) as well as “Green” sabotage legislation on top of it all, we of today could and should be living several times more comfortably as the generations before us. Instead, the destructors have succeeded in bringing us down to almost Third-World levels – and no end in sight. Add the nuclear superiority of the ever-larger communist world bloc (which hardly anyone even realises still exists) and their ever louder threats, and it looks as if the once-proud and mighty West is finished. It’s quite a Greek tragedy that we are living through, and it’s all brilliantly analysed in Origins of the Fourth World War.

Against my expectations, Karol Nawrocki has won, albeit very narrowly, the Presidential election thus the process of Poland’s deconstruction will be, at least, slowed down.
How effective will Nawrocki’s Presidency be, depends mostly on his personal courage and determination in the (eternal) fight against the criminal syndicate headed by Donald Tusk.
There is a chance that Nawrocki and his party, the Law and Justice Party could succeed in splitting Tusk’s the so called “Citizen’s Coalition” as they attempt to flirt with one of members – Polish Folks party and woo them to join the Polish Conservatives and construct their own, at least, a quasi-conservative government.
It is too early to predict the final results of those negotiations, however, judging after the brutality and vulgarity of quarrels and recriminations that exploded within Tusk’s clique the intended split is possible.

Dear Jeff, I haven’t popped on any info about the quarrel between Sikorski and Tusk in the Polish conservative media, yet. However, considering the current atmosphere prevailing in higher circles of “Citizens Coalition” anything is possible, and invectives must be flying both sides. They act now like pack of hyenas that have their kill stolen from them by pride of lions.
There is a comical element in their drama, though.
After the voting ended and the polling stations were closed, the initial results pointed on Trzaskowski’s victory, so him, Tusk and their mob exploded into a primitive joy. However, their joy proved to be premature. As the counting proceeded, it became clear that it was Nawrocki who won the election.
One can imagine Trzaskowki’s and Tusk’s disappointment and their fury when they realized that they lost.
It is also too early what position will Sikorski take in the current situation. He was fighting before for the nomination on behalf on Citizen’s Coalition, but Tush selected Trzaskowski, so Sikorski can now blame Tusk for the lost election. He could use it to weaken Tusk’s position and place himself as a future leader of that criminal syndicate
There is lots of info about Tusk’s collaboration with the East German Stasi and then German BND against Poland, so he could use it if he decided to go tough on Tusk.
However, if Law and Justice Party manages to tear the tiny Polish Folks Party from the Citizen’s Coalition, it would severely weaken them and strengthen the Conservatives.
I’m afraid, however, that Brussels and most probably Putin as well will allocate large sums of money to bribe the corrupt anyway, Folks party and prevent them from breaking with Citizen’s Platform. Even from Putin’s point of view, it is much better to have Tusk and his cohort holding power than the Law and Justice party and for obvious reason: Tusk is a tool of both Brussels and Berlin in their strategy to weaken Poland and make her subservient to both players. Putin prefers a weak Poland than the strong one.
The entire situation is very murky, so we have to wait quite a bit before its clear up a bit.
        Kind regards – Bogdan

Dear Papa Randolph, unfortunately, nothing has happened to the degenerate communists that were holding the power for almost fifty years after the WW2.
They have been preparing themselves before and then during the long process of transformation taking place in the post-Communist Poland well enough and in every imaginable aspect to avoid being held responsible for the crimes they committed against the Polish nation and the Polish people.
The main reason behind them being allowed to get away with their crimes was the strategic desire to avoid a possible civil war that would further devastate Poland and give that country, at least, a chance to move onto the path towards the economic, social and moral recovery.
        Kind regards – Bogdan

        1. Always, civil war is possible where these criminal groups spread their false second reality.

      2. In terms of the communist media in Poland, they have been husbanded by a German media company — tied to Moscow — that bought up much of the Polish communist media. The old cadres always find money, or keep their old jobs in the system, and espouse social democracy. Their influence is great. Larger corporations are controlled by them, too. Old agent networks continue. Polish military intelligence was full of Russian agents until they began to be exposed. How many remain? And look at Tusk. He works for Moscow. Much better tone and much more appreciated.

Rule 1 – you don’t communicate nor negotiate with communist criminals, who in fact are responsible for various terrorist and bio-chem attacks on the US population already, either through their proxies (as the 9/11 attack) and or the CCP virus and the Hungarian communist connected asset which produced the toxic “vaccine formula” (and the CCP is producing ingredients to it BTW – this, the Hungarian Nobel Prize female moved back to her native Hungary, so to be protected from possible lawsuits from the victims of the poison…

Rule 2 – to prevent the CCP and RUssia from doing business or owning property in the US, you cut off their access to the status of the favored nation and eliminate their access to the US banking system… Trump on the other hand wants to do more business with both communist countries as if there was no threat to the US national security and as if the CCP virus was something very marginal and not a communist biological warfare (not to mention the CCP supplied narcotics and fentanyl etc. flowing into the US – read the book from Dr. Douglass Red Cocaine, the drugging of America).

Rule 3 – the US military is behind with nuclear re-armament, and as Mr. Nyquist stated before, Trump and his administration are not going to produce new ICBMs and missiles, and the country remains vulnerable to the overwhelming nuclear and bio-chem potential RUssia and China etc. have….to do very little about it amounts to treason and communist cooperation…because millions could die, the country in fact could be evaporated in one nuclear and bio-chem attack.

Rule 4 – you help your allies, including Ukraine, but Trump in fact cut off the military aid to Ukraine and at this point it is not clear whether there are any more supplies being shipped to Ukraine from the US (you have to ask Mr. Nyquist about this, he knows it muxh better). Moreover, Trump is reportedly pulling US troops from Europe and there is some talk about leaving NATO altogether….that of course is very evil and exactly follows the Soviet long-term plan which calls fo dissolvement of NATO and US isolation….

Rule 5 – you don’t allow the communists to acquire US military instalations, but Trump did that with Bagram AFB in Afghanistan, in fact Gen. Milley suggested to him to leave the weaponry there as the cheaper way to deal with the withdrawal of US troops, and BIden only executed the already existing operation as you know, and now the CCP PLA controls that highly strategic US base, Trump only said he wants it back from the Taliban which means absolutely nothing and it is only a talk, nothing more – the same apllies to the Panama Cannal so far, as that situation died out also very quickly.

Rule 6 – as a good president you restore justice and go after the communist democrat culprits, using the special council or any other office responsible, including military justice tribunals if necessary, Trump has done nothing about the electoral fraud in 2020 so far, they only talk about investigations, but BIden, Obama etc, are still free and no charges filed….

Rule 7 – you inform the US public that the long-term RUssian and Chinese communist strategy exists and that the communists are preparing to take over the whole world, by subversion and nuclear war if necessary, and that the whole country is under attack, and could be under terrorist attack soon…Trump wants to sign peace agreements and do more business with these communist criminals – and that will become very very costly as they will only use it to their advantage and to take over the whole world.

Rule 8 – you don’t try to excuse failures of the government by suggestiing that the officials know better or that all is being taken care of, which is a very and highly dangerous wishful thinking and not based on reality, and just because Trump is fixing the economy it doesn’t mean that when Moscow and Beijing attack, there will be anything left of the economy…and btw it was Trump who did nothing in 2020 when he was robbed by that KGB asset Biden of the presidency, and the Congress certified the fraud instead of investigating it and pausing it until that is done…and so Trump helped Biden to execute the evil BIden did against the US….by being Kerensky, not Gen. Franco or Patton and so on.

YOu cannot be nice to communist criminals, they will make you into their slaves at the end, if you live that long….they have done it in many countries already and destroyed millions of lives and murdered millions of people, and it is very evil to have anything to do with such criminals, including going to visit them in 1987 in the Den of thieves and terrrorists the Kremlin… (and the Epstein files are still hidden, and moreover Trump’s own FBI director and his deputy both said that Epstein hanged himself in that cell….which is contrary to the reported facts…)

More could be said, but this should suffice for now. Thank you for learning to aquire more civil respectful approach.

Indeed, the Baltics going NATO/EU was the de facto attitude that the Soviet socialist “lingua franka” over the region was now broken appart. All nations, in particular modern ones but also in the past, seek an empire “lingua franka” of common language and will pick the one they prefer despite most empires being flawed or having particular anxieties about themselves, as was the case for the fall of Rome and is now the case in the West.

The only thing on Russia/Soviet side indeed is out west in the form of the self depredation, the anxiety, the demoralization, the self doubt etc.

The American reluctant legionnaire of American empire is particularly accute in Trump, but completely crazy in the like of Flynn who also flirted with Turkey and its Ottoman ambitions.

Why do we keep having losers giving up the job of empire we can be good at to idiots like Erdogan and their obviously ethnic-religious centered approach to empire having long shown inadequacy? Why keep looking at Russia’s or China’s obvious widespread militarist compensated institutional failures as legitimate when, to be honest, not only would Ukraine fair better in the flawed west, but would actually better run Moscow’s affairs.

If the model works, why dump it instead of extrapolating it? In essence, Switzerland is a good empire model too, and so would China be better off underTaiwan leadership than the opposite.

The hubris of the collectivists, piling up nations by force within their control strikes me as ironic because they are the followers of Marx who criticized arbitrary Capital, the “Kapital¨ made by collecting people, foods and nations like a stamp collector.

It does not work that way, and so called “capitalists”, the smart successful ones that do not just rely on rent, do not raw collect and pile up like this arbitrarily, they create coherence and meaning between the different parts, unlike an urban museum collecting “pretty” artefacts from accross the world in disjointed manner, they deal with culture that is alive and thus makes the business alive.

The like of Flynn, coming from bureaucratic mindset of the military, are dangerous hypocrites. They usually collectively punished soldiers and treated the whole thing in an aloof schizophrenic manner, with zero enlisted experience, but just local politcal bureaucratic technical experience in how to collect bullet points that would get promoted.

So sick of these bullet point rank based collectors, these are infantile people who are not serious and should stay away from the limelight, but they are narcissists in a media setting encouraging such narcissistic based authoritarianism. Journalists have zero anthropological depth and zero understanding of affairs in the world, and yet there they are with their bimbos coming out of dubious colleges or shallow intel stints in government… so it goes.

When Bush Jr said that Mexicans came to do jobs Americans do not want to do, it was a direct reflection of his own intellectual cowardice and laziness in all matters, delegating it all to others, and even to democrats and to mad chihuahua Obama. One typical example of such post-Christianity so called Christians like Bush Jr is to “put the trust in god” when it is a hypocritical mean and cop out from being a Forrest Gump idiot in power, rationalizing it.

I cannot believe actually how many people I thought were men still get angry when someone criticizes the Forrest Gump character and the idiocy of it all. This is how you have pundits who keep rationalizing Biden’s senility as being cute on TV or Obama being a chump. What in the world, who are these people? “Are you all at all serious? That localist feeling narcissist minded schizophrenics?”

    Here it is for you:

Congress can give Trump the leverage to coerce Putin

    By Marc A. Thiessen

    Updated May 29, 2025

Instead of negotiating peace with President Donald Trump, Russian leader Vladimir Putin is escalating his attacks against innocent Ukrainian civilians. “He’s sending rockets into cities and killing people,” Trump said this week. “I don’t like it at all.”

It is clear that Putin does not want peace; he has to be forced to end the war. To do that, Trump needs greater leverage. Congress can give it to him by passing the Sanctioning Russia Act, a bipartisan effort led by Sens. Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) and Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas).

The bill, which has a whopping 82 co-sponsors in the Senate, would impose “bone-crushing” sanctions on Russia. Right now, Russia is suffering double-digit inflation, skyrocketing interest rates and catastrophic labor shortages. The only thing keeping the country’s economy from collapse is revenue from oil and gas exports. This legislation would shut off the most important source of cash for the Kremlin by barring energy transactions with sanctioned Russian banks (which President Joe Biden allowed to continue), and imposing a 500 percent secondary tariff on any country that purchases Russian-origin uranium, oil, natural gas, petroleum, or petroleum products and petrochemical products. This would give Trump the power to effectively drive Russian energy sales from the global market, which would crush the Russian economy and deny Putin the funds to continue his aggression against Ukraine.

Most important, it would provide Trump with strong bipartisan backing as he tries, one last time, to persuade Putin to stop his massacres of Ukrainian civilians and negotiate a permanent end to his brutal, senseless war.

Signing the bill does not mean Trump has to implement the sanctions immediately. The proposed sanctions take effect only after the president issues a formal determination that Putin is engaging in sanctionable acts as described in the bill, such as “refusing to negotiate a peace agreement with Ukraine.”

If Trump is not comfortable making that determination, there is another option: He does not have to sign the bill immediately after Congress approves it. Once a bill is sent to the president, he has 10 days to sign or veto it. But nothing requires Congress to send the president a bill it has passed. Indeed, after it is approved in the House and the Senate, Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-South Dakota) can hold the bill at the desk indefinitely rather than sending it to the White House — giving Trump as much time as he needs before signing it.

There is precedent for this. In 1998, both the House and Senate approved Sen. Jesse Helms’s (R-North Carolina) legislation paying U.S. arrears to the United Nations in exchange for reforms. But President Bill Clinton threatened to veto it over some modest pro-life policy provisions in the bill. Helms had the bill held at the desk, hoping to persuade Clinton to change his mind. When Clinton refused, Helms waited for months and had it sent to the president for his promised veto at the most embarrassing moment — the day he addressed the U.N. General Assembly.

Thune could use the same procedure to hold the Russia sanctions bill after both chambers pass it, this time sending it to Trump at the most opportune moment.

This would dramatically increase Trump’s leverage with Putin, giving him a sword of Damocles to hang over the Russian leader’s head — backed by an overwhelming, bipartisan majority in Congress. It would empower Trump and strengthen his hand in the negotiations by giving him the power to inflict crippling sanctions against Russia at a moment of his choosing. And it would underscore that the United States is united politically with Trump in backing the approach.

The bill’s passage would make Putin’s choice clear: Agree to peace or suffer the most destructive sanctions ever imposed by the United States — sanctions that would send his already struggling economy into a tailspin. It would also create an incentive for China, India and other countries that would be subject to secondary tariffs to press Putin to agree to peace.

Indeed, Congress could give Trump even more leverage by adding a provision to the sanctions legislation that would authorize the sale of U.S. weapons to Ukraine, using Foreign Military Financing (FMF) direct loans, like those we provide to our allies and partners around the world. Such loans would cost taxpayers nothing — indeed they would earn a profit, because the loans come with interest that must be paid to the U.S. government. Congress could also create a transfer authority that permits frozen Russian assets to be used by Ukraine to buy U.S. weapons.

The combination of sanctions and arms is precisely what Trump promised he would do if Putin did not agree to peace. In March, he declared: “If Russia and I are unable to make a deal on stopping the bloodshed in Ukraine, and if I think it was Russia’s fault … I am going to put secondary tariffs on oil, on all oil coming out of Russia.” And in an interview with me last year at Mar-a-Lago, he said that if Putin refused his peace efforts, he would give Ukraine more weapons than it has ever gotten before.

Right now, Putin is hoping that Trump will grow frustrated with the peace process, throw up his hands and move on to other things — leaving Putin free to prosecute his brutal war without the United States supporting Ukraine or penalizing him. This misperception by Putin is one reason Trump has not been able to persuade Moscow to agree to a ceasefire. Putin appears convinced that all he has to do is sit tight and agree to nothing and the U.S. will reward him by giving him a free hand.

Putin needs to be disabused of this notion, and shown that if Russia says “no” to peace but Ukraine says “yes,” Trump will punish Russia and arm Ukraine. Approving a bill to do just that would make clear to Putin that rejecting Trump’s peace efforts is not an option he wants to choose — and provide a demonstration of political consensus and resolve that will, hopefully, enable Trump to finally negotiate the peace he seeks.

Trump has been right to give Putin time and make every effort to negotiate a voluntary end to the war. But Putin has made it abundantly clear that he won’t stop his conquest willingly; he needs to be coerced. A bipartisan majority in Congress stands ready to give Trump the tools to coerce Putin and impose severe consequences on Russia if Putin still refuses. The votes are there. All Trump has to do is give Congress the green light.

It surely sounds very nice – sanctions, but sanctions will not stop the Bolshevik nukes, that would be a true miracle of God if they did.

Moreover this is now, but what will be the ever happening changes and pauses within a week or two, what will they be ? At this point it is a matter of trust and facts and so no matter how many good things Trump has done, the contry is in grave danger because there has never been a time in history that the communist criminals would have cared about the capitalists’ sanctions – the KGB criminals would rather see millions of their own people dying of hunger and in deep poverty THAN to give their evil strategy and objectives, which objectives remain the same – they want to rule the whole world and whatsoever sanctions they have to receive does NOT and will NOT turn them from it !

      1. Sanctions could be important if done right.

        1. CONCERNED Avatar
          CONCERNED

Sanctions do not work with communist criminals and Trump is not even calling them as such, and again, sanctions will NOT shoot down SS-27 ICBM loaded with 10 nuclear warheads, that is impossible. And all they needed was the KGB traitor BIden in the WH for 4 years, to delay and sabotage military readiness and to demoralise the whole country, and now they have the advantage, nuclear, bio-chem and God only knows what else they are hidding for to be used against the world…

And they are diabolically possessed atheistic criminals Mafia, so they will NOT stop until they achieve their evil victory, and until God visits them with the final decisive punishment they deserve, and they WILL get it, but by then the damage will be horrible.

          1. Sanctions break down their economic means to make and maintain effect weapon systems.

          2. CONCERNED Avatar
            CONCERNED

They have to be used with the strong hand, which means it is better and essential in fact to cut off all relationships with these communist criminal governments, because they are illegitimate, they use slave labor of their subjects and they use the business to advance their evil military strategy, and so to be helping them with western business is not only evil, but it will lead to destruction of freedom, religion and life of liberty at the end – and that’s why Trump’s sanctions are NOT enough, if they even come and stay, which at this point, based on the very well known history of his, is highly questionable item indeed.

Even before starting war in 2022 Russia was ready to be a closed economy to withstand sanctions. Yes, they don’t want sanctions, but they will survive them. The people are prepared to eat low quality bread. Also there are many countries who help Russia to go around sanctions. Did Trump promise at one point to give Ukraine a ton of weapons? That would be the only way to stop Russia.

Truth and a very good point. RUssian KGB government will rather see the Russian citizens death of hunger than to give up any point of their evil communist strategy, that’s how evil the KGB Mafia really is. And they will not follow any capitalist will in sanctions, and they will most likely retaliate, perhaps soon. Cut them off completely, sanctions are nothing.

      2. They will suffer. Yes. Very true.

    2. This is disastrous! These two really needed to see eye-to-eye and recognize the common danger to us all.

      1. It seems to me that there is something very nefarious going on right now. China is playing hardball with Trump, Putin is tapping him along. The U.S. looks very weak right now. And, now this. I wonder if this was always the plan. Musk got Trump in and now is going to destroy him.

        1. This is how we read it. We observe a Big deal in the making btw USA and PRC. This will be the foundation for all to come after. The deal will have everything. Then there going to be a deal with Europe, actually 2: with USA and China. Most important tentatively ALL AGREED that putin regime will go down. It is an obstacle or all and Europe will never feel safe. It will be military defeat and regime change, likely break up of federation. No apocalyptical speculations. Just like dat. ru will be escorted out of UN where they are trespassing , India will join the Sec Council. ru will have to sign Statute of UN and promise not to start wars. May be they will be allowed to joint as a member. Sanctions will stay till they will surrender nukes. This is what is in preps

  34. This from a Kyiv University professor.
Hell in Kyiv. Russian response for “SpiderWeb”. The capital of Freedom is under massive attack. All possible types of missiles and a huge number of drones. It’s never been this scary before. Ballistic missiles flying right over our house. We probably should have gone to the shelter, but it’s too late….. I don’t like the number 6…

    1. Terror against innocent civilians. The monster strikes, and cowers in his bunker.

      1. This woman’s husband was a pilot and he was killed in 2014 by Russia. She has 2 kids that she is raising by herself. I am just sick about this.

        1. It is very sickening.

  35. The feud between Trump and Elon is a good thing. Elon is pathological, is part of the Curtis Yarvin crew, and is surrounded by Russian/CCP sycophants who he promotes.

With Elon gone, that’s less Russian/CCP propagandists in Trump’s ear. Of course, if Trump really is Agent Orange 007, it won’t make a difference.

    1. Not entirely good. I am told that Space X is vital to our defense. Is it true?

      1. CONCERNED Avatar
        CONCERNED

This Epstein connection of Trump could be deliberate Moscow and CCP provocation to demoralise the US population before the military attack begins, it shouldn’t be taken lightly. The question is why did Musk waited till now to unleash this ? And why not keep it private with Trump, if that is to be kept private – we don’t know the extent of that information and what it contains, it is not even clear whether it is the truth. That’s why it is highly suspicious why it was released now, and perhaps it was done deliberately for the demoralization purpose…and to create a very deep mistrust in the Trump administration and the country. It is truly a serious situation, though it may not look like, but it is.

      2. If it is, there’s always the most delightful option: nationalize SpaceX. It would also stop Elon from occasionally cutting off Starlink access to Ukraine during major operations.

That said, I don’t know enough about how badly the government is dependent on SpaceX these days. Any dependence on that whacko should never have happened.

        1. Nationalization is something the communists like to do.

          1. If the US is really dependent on SpaceX for national security, and this whacko really starts cancelling the Dragon capsule or whatever, or starts shutting off Starlink for Ukraine in a hissy fit, or turning off Starlink national defense functions, I don’t care if the ghost of Joseph Stalin commanded it, might as well take SpaceX over.

Besides, with all the money Elon makes from government subsidies and tax credits, we might as well go all the way and make it a government office!

          2. I think a case for treason could be made in terms of helping enemies. But you would want it done legally. How would a good lawyer advise Trump?

          3. Therein lies the rub. Trump doesn’t have good lawyers. He has sycophants.

          4. I fear that is true.

          5. CONCERNED Avatar
            CONCERNED

Absolutely true – and it makes the dillemma about the whole thing the more difficult, but in principle to have the government take over a private business is evil, and it amounts to stealing, and if there is any way out of it, it should be done through agreement and not by government directives, and yes, it is a communist ideal to steal private property….and to make the communist government the sole owner of all property in the state.

Jeff, not sure if you can comment, on the document that me and Albert are working on, when we spoke with Hong Kong people who live overseas, we were told that there are people from the Hong Kong ‘Pro-Democracy’ Movement who have been elected to the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and that has largely remained unknown to Western journalists or media, I was told Lau Kong Wah who is known to be a member of the Hong Kong ‘Pro-Democracy’ Movement and the United Democrats of Hong Kong founded by Szeto Wah and Martin Lee in the 1990’s and eventually joined the Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong and served as secretary of Home Affairs under Leung Chun Ying and Carrie Lam was elected to serve the chinese people’s political consultative conference in 2023

    1. This is not a surprise to me, Alex. The most sinister organizations are created to oppose communist China. They are about freedom and democracy. But they are full of communist agents. Why? Because Chinese communism is very determined to infiltrate their opposition. When you look at an organization or group opposing China, look closer. Who is in that group? How many CCP agents are there? I have rubbed shoulders with such organizations, and I can tell you they are always infiltrated. And you would be surprised if I told you the details. But I don’t want to be sued. And they would sue me. What I know I know firsthand, and is proved to me. But most people would see no proof. One has to know a great many things before the meaning of certain details comes into focus. And then you cannot unsee what you have seen. Alex, it is worse than you imagine. Worse than I ever dared to imagine. Be careful, my friend. They can kill, and they have killed — merely because you oppose them.

      1. Jeff, with the tactics the Communists use to control the opposition, is it possible to have an organization of anti Communists that is not infiltrated.

        1. That’s a funny question. I think we could try it, document the result, and write a very funny political satire for the stage. Seriously: If you put up an anti-communist shingle, and you get money, the communists will come attached with the money. If you know what you are doing, and there are very knowledgeable people running the organization, you might have a chance if they don’t corrupt the donors. One such organization I know about, from thirty years ago, was taken over by poisoning the top leader. His son was seduced by Chinese agents and invested in China. The organization died very quickly. There are other stories I have collected. It would require great genius and vision to organize something that was entirely clean.

Sobering, but not surprising in the slightest, what with the LONG history of fake “opposition” groups created by the communists, basically as old as the Soviet Union itself. The only thing you can really do about it is get the word out, Mr. Nyquist, so we can, God willing, prevent what happened to the anti-Soviet/Kremlin cause from happening to the anti-CCP cause.

I recommend you gather the most important points in your notes (Golitsyn, communists always infiltrate their enemies, Moscow and Beijing joined at the hip, Chi Haotian, etc.) and, if you haven’t done so already, get in touch with:

        – Matthew “laowhy86” Tye and and Winston “serpentza” Sterzel
        – David Zhang of China Insider
        – The China Uncensored team
All of them, whom I’m reasonably sure are specifically on a CCP death list already, SHOULD at least give you a hearing for a broader audience and possibly even have you as a guest. If the CCP is doing and/or planning something evil (which is a day ending in “Y”), they have and will cover it.

Jeff, not sure if you can comment, in the document which will be released soon, me and Albert have found Hong Kong ‘Pro-Democracy’ Movement Overseas groups such as the Hong Kong Democracy Council in Washington DC, the Committee for Freedom in Hong Kong found by Mark Clifford who is an associate of Jimmy Lai, Hong Kong Watch, Stand with Hong Kong, they portray themselves about Freedom and Democracy but when we look closer into their actual policies such as encouraging the CCP to uphold joint declaration end elections and lobbying the US Congress and Senate and the British Government to ensure the Joint Declaration is never terminated and also their own predecessors such as Martin Lee and Szeto Wah have confessed they are nothing more than the CCP, that was when things began to get serious and me and Albert along with the Hong Kong overseas community agreed it was time to raise the alarm on the Hong Kong ‘Pro-Democracy’ Movement and their overseas groups and I also agree with what you say when it comes to the most sinister organizations created to oppose communist China and being about freedom and democracy but are full of communist agents
