Right and Wrong vs. Right and Left: Plus Video Interviews

“…they who think of deceiving the public, are easily deceived themselves.”

Frederick the Great

In his book, Anti-Machiavel, King Frederick II of Prussia argued that we do great injustice when we suppose that dishonesty rules the world. Dishonesty is not a workable system. The liar must deceive continuously, he argued, and the deception cannot be kept up; for the deceitful ruler must raise his mask if only to breathe. Today, of course, the world is full of dishonest rulers who never seem to take a breath between their many lies. In consequence, the world seems to be falling apart. The trend toward political dishonesty, which produces increasing dysfunction, was excused by Niccolo Machiavelli, who argued that “there are two ways of contesting [in politics], the one by the law, the other by force; the first method is proper to men, the second to beasts; but because the first is frequently not sufficient, it is necessary to have recourse to the second.”[i]

The Prussian king thought Machiavelli’s recourse to beastliness was immoral. “The world is in part like a play,” wrote Frederick, “where there are honest players but also the cheating ones.….”[ii] It is important to acknowledge that all rulers are not so wicked, said Frederick. Some are good, some are not good. On his side of the argument, Machiavelli refused to acknowledge the efficacy of moral precepts. Rulers need to beasts, he explained. And of the beasts, the lion and fox were the most efficacious; for a ruler must know how to be a lion to drive away the wolves and a fox to avoid traps. According to Machiavelli, “Everyone admits how praiseworthy it is in a prince to keep faith, and to live with integrity and not with craft. Nevertheless, our experience has been that those princes who have done great things have held good faith of little account….”[iii]

This idea that princes “who have done great things” is peculiar, especially as it is coupled with those who “have held good faith of little account….” It is almost as if Machiavelli is equating greatness with perfidy. Yet Frederick II, who is known as Frederick “the Great,” did not think greatness entailed deceit. Princes live in fishbowls, he countered. Everyone can see what they do. From personal experience Frederick wrote, “as the sun cannot cover its spots, no more can the great princes hide their defects….” He added that “the mask of dissimulation would merely overcast the natural deformity of a prince.”[iv]

Machiavelli, on his side, believed that deception was necessary and practical. Men are so simple, he argued, “and so subject to present necessities, that he who seeks to deceive will always find dupes.” Machiavelli then cited the case of Pope Alexander VI, the infamous Borgia Pope, who “did nothing else but deceive men, nor ever thought of doing otherwise, and he always found victims; for there never was a man who had greater power in asserting, or who with greater oaths would affirm a thing, yet would observe it less; nevertheless his deceits always succeeded according to his wishes, because he well understood this side of mankind.”[v]

The favored hero chosen by Machiavelli is curious; for Alexander VI was not a great man. Except for Machiavelli, nobody has chronicled his greatness. Historians generally depict the Borgia pope as violent and revengeful, corrupt and vicious. In Alexandre Dumas’s history, The Crimes of the Borgias, we read that Pope Alexander VI was poisoning cardinals to resell their hats. Dumas claimed that Alexander VI did not die of a fever as most historians recount. Instead, he died from accidentally tasting poisoned meat intended for one of his victims. To measure the cynicism of Pope Alexander VI, consider how he laughed at Friar Girolamo Savonarola when the latter denounced the pope’s many vices. We may wonder if it was Alexander’s agents who urged the people of Florence to put Savonarola to death in May 1498. Machiavelli, a Florentine, took a lesson from this. The honesty of the good priest was no match for the dishonesty of the bad priest; for “good men” have no place in politics, since they are too naïve, trusting in the ultimate triumph of goodness. For Machiavelli, good men have no chance because bad men have beastly advantages (cunning and violence). One gets the feeling, on reading Machiavelli, that the man who changes into a beast can change himself back into a man. This ability to regain one’s status as a human being, after dehumanizing and degrading oneself with treachery and murder, is oddly optimistic.

The Prussian king believed that princes, more than others, were held to a higher standard. They had to be exemplars of propriety. At the same time, Frederick wrote, a prince should learn how to “spot cheating” without becoming a cheat. “It is quite simply false that the world is made up only of the amoral,” Frederick argued. “One would have to be a diligent misanthropist not to see that in any group there are many decent people, and that the great number is neither good nor bad.” Machiavelli’s belief that the world is full of predators serves merely as an excuse for his maxims. Even if we assume a certain opportunism in men, noted Frederick, it does not follow that we should all be opportunists.

And yet there is a political party, called the Communist Party, which has its own opportunistic creed. It is a “party of a new type” founded by Vladimir Lenin, who wanted to make a world revolution, who wanted to overthrow all existing institutions. Such a grand project required a “conspiratorial political party” built on force and fraud. Such was the party of Lenin, which formed the Soviet Union and the People’s Republic of China. From the beginning, these totalitarian states were Machiavellian formations. They looked up to Marx’s philosophy of dialectical materialism, yet their operations were in accordance with Machiavelli’s cynical statecraft. Communist rulers did, in fact, turn themselves into beasts. They practiced force and fraud on a scale undreamt of by Nero or Caligula. It was systematic and scientific, adhering to Machiavelli’s dishonest means for achieving “great things.” In all this, the architects of communism were the spiritual disciples of Machiavelli. They were all liars and murderers. They were predators who excused their predation by observing that rulers have always been predators. Only they would be predators with a difference, working for mankind’s “liberation.” After changing the whole world into a communist paradise, they would change themselves back into men and relinquish power (i.e., the withering away of the state). Of course, the world cannot be changed into a communist paradise. Any such attempt can only result in societal mutilation.

Do good men fair worse in politics than bad men? After decades of diligent and murderous work, bad men do not reach the end of their labors. They are not safe. Ultimate victory is always out of reach. Old lies must be exchanged for new lies. It is impossible to kill all the people that need killing. Where does all this end? How does one escape the horror? When is the monster able to change himself back into a man? Under these circumstances the good man merely faces death while the bad man faces damnation.

We should remember that evil is an equal opportunity killer. It kills the good and eats its own. Political power has always been dangerous, whether one is deceitful or honest. The Swiss cultural historian, Jacob Burckhardt once wrote, “Power is evil.” Those who love power may find this unpalatable; but then, Lord Acton famously said that power tends to corrupt, and absolute power tends to corrupt absolutely. Furthermore, a good man regards power as a burdensome obligation. This is how George Washington thought of power. For a man who is determined to act honorably, power is not happy juice; for there is no happiness in toil, and constant danger, or in confronting perfidy. In this context it is obvious that Pope Alexander VI enjoyed his power only because he did not foresee the final reckoning. In the end, Machiavelli’s hero was a fool. Neither does Alexander’s so-called success “demonstrate the gullibility of man….” According to Frederick, “Cheating is provably dumb when it is pushed too far.” After all, what is accomplished in the end?

The argument between Machiavelli and Frederick the Great is an old one. It is the argument between those who believe in cheating and lying and those who think honesty is the best policy. Of course, nobody is going to explicitly endorse cheating and lying; even with Machiavelli, the advocacy is implied. The endorsement of such behavior is recommended by way of a sophisticated cynicism. We are not evil, say the cynics, we are simply ahead of the curve. Today the scissor blades of right and left have cut right and wrong out of the picture. Morality is said to be the “ideology of yesterday” – an “ideology” without any meaningful constituency. The only thing that matters now is to pick the winning side.

And which side is that?

It is the side that promises a future of peace and plenty to mankind. But who intends to keep the promise when politics has become a game of self-aggrandizement and treachery? There is this visible lust for power on the part of the left. We see it in Vice President Kamala Harris. It is said that politics is about power, of course. Yet there has been a misunderstanding on this score.

Politics is about power in the same sense that cleaning your house is about having the necessary cleaning supplies. You cannot do politics without access to power, and you cannot clean your house without access to supplies. But power is not to be abused, any more than we should snort Comet or drink toil bowl cleaner. Putting our house in order politically and literally means good hygiene – not shooting up with Windex. Power must be treated with respect, just as Lemon Pledge should be used on wood furniture and not as a cocktail mixer.

Here the question of ends and means comes into focus.

    1. Thank you for such in-depth insights. Has anyone else noticed that all the versions of the Harris-Walz lawn signs have “red star”s. This can’t be naïveté or ignorance.

      1. Wink wink, nod nod.

  2. and on that note…

    1. It is a bit disturbing to see the government confiscating internet domains, even if the Russians were putting money into them. Might the government confiscate my domain, even though I oppose Russia and support the survival of the West? Knowing the left in the U.S. as I do, there is room for worry. Of course, enemy propaganda should be exposed. But taking people’s property? What then of the enemy propaganda that is financed through the government’s support of eductation? Is this a case of “eyes wide shut”? If we are going to expose enemy active measures on the right, why not expose the massive efforts directed through the political left? Or would the left cry “censorship”? The censors themselves are apparently oblvious that a multifronted operation has been underway for a long time. I am glad to see them cleaning up useful idiots on the right, but there’s a very bad smell coming from the Biden Administration.

      1. I’ve seen a number of concerns that this will turn into a dragnet, and considering how many years it took for any of this to happen (and how many people were deceived by Russia’s influencers here during that time), I don’t know. But I agree: it establishes a precedent that anti-Biden/anti-Left sentiments could come under fire in general, simply because pro-Russian voices happened to say them as well.

I have a suspicion there’s a prepared response to any pro-Western anti-Communists getting caught in a dragnet. It might have something about “forensics” but would later be explained as “we got overzealous like McCarthy” in a depraved, ironic manner.

We have a wonderful repertoire of ripostes like “bootlicker” to draw from, but people nonetheless reflexively parrot the worst possible ones. It’s that much more dire while Palestine cheerleaders embarrass their core power base pandering to Somalis flooded into the MidWest, as if they didn’t fortify things regardless.

        1. Everyone seems to be on the left, however much they pretend otherwise.

In my view, we need to look at the disastrous marriage of liberalism and socialism far more closely than discussing Machiavelli or anti-Machiavelli.

I see the High Middle Ages, which is hardly mentioned today due to its economic prosperity in the European south-north divide – the precious metal flowed largely from north to south, since the more valuable goods were produced in the south of Europe – as the starting point for the later unification of liberalism with socialism and thus the current oppression and enslavement of humanity by the surviving and inflationary spreading socialism.

With the rise of the German Hanse merchant families (as forerunners of the British East India Company) in the 12th/13th century; the Fugger family in the 13th/14th century and the resulting corporations and monopolies, which at that time were already based on a monetary system that we today rightly call monetary socialism, many people were able to free themselves from poverty and dependence (the candy was laid). Learning to read and write became widespread, the Reformation opened new doors to a future that freed people from their involuntary poverty… to paraphrase Kant a little.

Napoleon I. was the first ruler who, in the name of the people, imposed dictatorship as a solution to the citizens’ political inability to establish state order in the form of internal peace, legislation and, ultimately, military attack and the imperialist subjugation of enemies of the coming universal socialist state.

Long before the ideal of a state run according to the same principles as a single factory company was to inspire 19th century socialism, the poet Novalis had already lamented “that no state has been run like a factory as Prussia has been since the death of Frederick William”.

In the 19th century, the German Customs Union was formed, a union of several German states that very quickly achieved a higher gross national product than the British Empire. This was followed by the North German Confederation, which culminated in the German Empire in 1871. It was precisely in this German Empire that the entrepreneurial monopoly was politically promoted, and there was very close cooperation between entrepreneurs and Prussian officials. People were convinced that liberalism, which is based on individuality and freedom, is compatible with the collective lack of freedom of socialism, and that something new would develop from both ideologies that would create freedom, justice and prosperity for all people. What was overlooked in Prussian socialism is that socialism came in the guise of a wolf in sheep’s clothing and would destroy the values of liberalism.

The British Empire adopted the belief in freedom and prosperity of Prussian socialism and also fell into the hands of the predatory socialism. The USA followed suit.

Through this new ideology, existing colonialism became the basis for socialist globalism.

This is the chain of causality that led Hitler to power, since the Weimar Republic was already a democratism that had undermined the rule of law and the individual. Hitler himself declared in a speech in February 1941 that National Socialism and Marxism are essentially the same thing (in The Bulletin of International News, published by the Royal Institute of International Affairs, Vol. XVIII, No. 5, page 269) – regardless of whether we call it right or left in modern terms.

The Russian Revolution followed the Emperor Napoleon’s model one to one, except that the ruler Lenin called himself a “dictator at work” (the globalist rulers in NGOs, the UN, and companies all call themselves that today). Today, this solution has been placed in the hands of the globalists by the Communist International. But the people also became the demos – the people – of internationally organized militarism and journalism through Hitler’s National Socialism and the other collectivist totalitarianism called fascism of Mussolini.

Today, in the nation state of Germany, the people are only a community of opinion that presents itself as a media-controlled unity of opinion. The will of the people, which still exists in isolated cases, has been completely transformed by the functionary governments since Brandt into the publicity-controlled will of the voting citizens; today, children are also part of this war of opinions.

When I look across the Atlantic from Germany to the USA, I can only say loud and clear: Look at Germany – that’s what awaits you under the socialists. The talking doll Harris has loudly announced with her desire for a planned economy where she wants to lead the USA.

    1. Very interesting, Birgit. My little fragment here on Machiavelli and his break with right and wrong, suggests that liberalism and socialism — as right and left ideologies — are Machiavellian. They also represent a break with morality in that they are political creeds offering a kind of political and ECONOMIC salvation. Seeking salvation through wisdom or spiritual revelation is here replaced by belief in an ideal political or economic order, discoverable by “science.” One difference between the Machiavellian project versus the philosophic/religious project, is the one focuses on the exterior life and the other on the interior life of man. One sets aside the reality of the soul and God in favor of wealth, security, and comfort — which are most important to the body. Thus, modernity has sought economic prosperity at the expense of moral order and contemplation. We do not realize that moral order precedes political and economic order; that the latter flows from the former. Also, that the disruption of moral order for economic or political advantage may not immediately destroy prosperity and security, as a materialist substitute may allow the train of “progress” to continue down the tracks awhile; only, the train is going faster and faster, it has no underlying sense of its speed and ultimate destination. At first the whole system appears as a runaway machine. However, the process appears more sinister when we realize the train of progress is rapidly approaching the “end of the line” and the tendency of the whole is mass suicide. There is no moral guard-rail. The whole thing is going to smash up because there are no brakes on our train of progress, which means there is no moral sense — which is to say, no sense of self-limitation. All this media, all these political slogans and causes, all the socialist manipulations and lies, logically follow from the errors of liberalism as an ideology (as opposed to philosophic and religious truth, which were progressively devalued under liberalism). As for Napoleon: he was himself a runaway train, where moral sense gave way to the idea that self-limitation was unnecessary. Marx loved Napoleon. He wanted to have Napoleon’s life and therefore dreamt of a revolution that might give that life to him. This is where the Machiavellian notion of left-right political-economic-military soteriology comes in. What these doctrines of salvation through politics or economics, or revolutionary war bring, is ultimate destruction. An individual may dream of existing without the straitjacket of right and wrong, but his metaphor of straitjacket is mistaken. The proper metaphor would be “life jacket.”

The liberal party in Germany, the FDP, named its foundation after the co-founder of the National Socialist ideology, the Protestant theologian Friedrich Naumann. The correct name of the foundation is ‘Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom’. When this foundation supported Jair Bolsonaro in the 2019 election campaign, I thought to myself “that’s weird”. In August 2023, I was visiting relatives in Brazil; statements were made that were ultimately confirmed by Victor.

Right or left, right or wrong have changed over time, according to the motto: and the victor writes history. What remains is the evil power-hungry Machiavelli, the right-winger; the good Marx, the left-winger, who only wanted to help the workers and peasants get their rights. Anyone who has read Marx’s poems knows what kind of person he was. Next to that, Machiavelli almost reads like a children’s book.

In the GDR there was a saying: Power is under the counter – and so is freedom. The coveted barter goods were always available when the two contracting parties came to an agreement. The hunter got his Christmas goose; he gave the deer he had killed in return. Books, music, western industrial goods… everything was available. Those who had nothing to trade sold themselves for foreign currency… Economically everything was fine, morality was irrelevant and only physical freedom was lacking.

A Bockwurst or a cocktail for injecting modified RNA – that’s how cheap we are to buy today.

Jeff, for me, it is freedom that makes morality and justice in the form of law possible. These virtues are needed to recognize right and wrong and to develop the strength to oppose right or left with the better arguments.

But as long as Huxley’s brave new world keeps us in bread and circuses mode, we will remain prisoners of ourselves. As long as we follow the beautiful, meaningless words of some functionaries, we will remain in the self-chosen role of the slave. Anyone who breaks out is pilloried and then sinks into premature obedience.

Until, yes, until what or when …

An innate instinct is said to drive lemmings to mass migration in certain situations. When they reach the sea, the animals then pounce…

        1. People sometimes lose their freedom because they have been overwhlemed by brute force. They sometimes lose it because they have been deceived. But in many cases they lose their freedom because they lack moral courage; that is, the courage to take action for moral reasons despite the risk of adverse consequences. When a significant number of people do this, evil rulers run for their lives.

      2. Birgit Naujeck Avatar

That is exactly my experience in life, Jeff. The courage to be free and the rocky road to implementation are far too rarely seen as an opportunity to pick up the stones and build a new, better road. People who take this path find themselves – at least in Germany – on the side of the excluded. But these excluded people should not be confused with those who – as has just happened – vote for parties in Germany that lead them back to a state of absolute servitude.

        1. Being excluded might be the best thing.

“the great illusion in our days is that democracy and liberalism are the antithesis of communism … this illusion is like saying that … a diluted poison is the antidote of that very venom in its unadulterated concentration.” — Evola

Founders couldn’t possibly conceive of the number of presuppositions and guardrails that have been haphazardly thrown off their still robust vehicle, but without the divine in view, the form liberal progressivism that has outright supplanted religion for too many resembles the spontaneous worldwide cult in Robert Chambers’ “The King in Yellow”, and its legions of hobgoblins riding small minds. Equal parts demonic and swinish.

        1. The new religion of socialism in which a presumptuous fool deifies himself, hits the wall and splatters — like the coyote in the Roadrunner cartoon.

    2. What is left out of this analysis is the role of “religion” in the life of the people, how it effects the individual and his role in society. Secondly how quickly people throw out the beliefs of their parents and grandparents.

Both England and the U.S. have had repeated “revivals” that kept bringing in new generations to the faith. But it takes only two to three generations for people to rebel against their grandparents’ beliefs, especially if those beliefs make demands on their followers. As far as I know, France and Germany never had those “revivals”.

An example of how quickly is Henry of Navarre in 1593 saying and acting on “Paris is well worth a mass” when his grandparents were among the first generation of Huguenots. At the same time in Germany Lutherans were abandoning Luther’s explicit rejection of philosophic Aristotelianism to make their dogmas based on Aristotelianism. Germans have long ago abandoned the teachings of the Reformation, and Roman Catholicism is effectively dead in France.

As for what Biblical teachings demand are individual obedience to societal responsibilities. An example is James 1:27 “Pure and unspotted worship before God and Father is to take care of orphans and widows in their sufferings and to keep oneself unstained from the world.” at a time when there were no government programs to take care of widows and orphans. And “You see therefore that a person is justified by works and not by professed beliefs alone … For just as a body without spirit is dead, so professed beliefs without works is dead.” James 2:24–26. Throughout the New Testament there are individual and societal demands placed on each person who professes to believe in God’s promises of individual salvation.

A final point, who is the authority in our lives. Is it ourselves? The mob (Napoleon’s answer to the mob “A whiff of grapeshot”)? The Bible’s answer is to stand on principle, no matter what the mob says. Is it government? The main subject of Romans 13:1–7 is the concept of authority, in particular God’s authority, not government as so often mistranslated. But everyone wants to do what is right in his own eyes, therefore he rejects God’s authority. If everyone does what is right in his own eyes, that’s chaos. Is there any way to get order out of chaos without dictatorship? If everyone submits to God’s authority, would there be chaos in the first place?

Birgit, precious metals played no role in the High Middle Ages, as people had bracteate money – i.e. interest-free money that was exchanged several times a year for a fee! This and the Medieval Warm Period, which lasted roughly from the 10th to the 14th century, were the cause of the prosperity boom.
The Fuggers did not arrive until the 15th century, and it was precisely then that the “eternal pfennig” and precious metal money led to impoverishment.

Historical facts: The Middle Ages are usually associated with negative images of oppression and serfdom. Hardly anyone pays attention to the fact that this period can be divided into a golden and a dark period. The golden age is represented by the Gothic period and can be narrowed down to the period from 1150 to 1450. At the beginning of the Middle Ages, it was customary to withdraw and mint new coins when there was a change of ruler. Around 1150, Archbishop Wichmann (1110-1192) of Magdeburg began to issue coins, which were called for exchange twice a year. The aim was to collect taxes simply and regularly. This involved exchanging 12 old pfennigs for 9 new ones, the difference being tax. To enable the coins to be melted down and recast quickly and without much effort, they were only minted on one side and made of thin sheet metal, hence their name “bracteates” (bractes = thin sheet metal). This method soon spread throughout the country. As a result, hoarding money was no longer worthwhile. In order to avoid the next exchange, money was lent on without interest, as only the owner of the coins had to pay the exchange fee. As a result, money was once again purely a medium of exchange and no longer a means of treasury. The result was the greatest period of development in German history. At that time, social differences were more balanced than at any other time in history. Those who had a lot acquired wealth through work, not through unearned interest.

Around 1300, a peak was reached in the founding of cities as a measure of economic development, which was never reached again in the entire history before and after this time. The great cathedrals and cathedrals in Europe were built in the period from 1150-1450. Financed by voluntary donations from the citizens. This alone shows how confident people must have been back then. Who would donate to a project of the century if they didn’t know whether they would still be alive tomorrow? After all, the largest number of cultural monuments in the western world was founded during this period. It should also be noted that the population of Germany at that time was much smaller than it is today and yet, thanks to an optimized economic system, it was still possible to achieve great things. How confident people had to be back then is shown by the fact that the buildings that were started took many decades or centuries to complete. This example shows that there were no economic downturns or economic crises, otherwise such large-scale projects would not have been possible.

The situation changed when, under pressure from power-hungry merchants, money was gradually introduced which was no longer discredited. With the gradual introduction of the “eternal penny”, the distribution of wealth shifted so drastically within a few decades that Gothic buildings could no longer be completed throughout Central Europe due to a lack of money. Everywhere in Europe, cathedrals were not built for more than 300 years and were only completed in the last century. The economic situation of the population deteriorated to such an extent that bloody peasant wars broke out at the beginning of the 16th century. The guilds were no longer free for everyone, for most people the path to independence was blocked and a new class of dependent wage laborers emerged. At the same time, new discoveries and inventions were suppressed. For example, the forerunner of the mechanical loom was banned by the guild in 1586 and the inventor was murdered.

The Fuggers – the Dark Ages begin
The history of the Fuggers, which coincides with the end of the Golden Middle Ages, clearly shows how wealth quickly accumulates in a few hands through the introduction of interest money and how power then shifts in favor of capital. At the same time, clear parallels to the present day can also be seen. At the end of the Middle Ages, it was forbidden for Christians to trade in money. Although this prohibition was only partially observed in the Romance countries, the ban on interest was subject to strict rules in Germany. In this environment, the Fugger family ran a medium-sized trading company in 1436 and was still no different from many other trading houses. This only changed when Jakob Fugger, called the Rich, took over the management of the company at the end of the 15th century and interest money was reintroduced.

      1. Inflation is good, right.

        1. No. Inflation is what destroys economies.

@autarkleben5ec0a5fa04 … It is true that until European trade in the late Middle Ages, precious metals played no role in many areas and the natural exchange resource that arose from nature (certainly also due to the well-known warm period) promoted people’s prosperity. Many things could be produced in abundance and markets expanded; so a barter good had to be created that corresponded to international trade. A type of fee-based money was introduced through various processes – I do not want to call it the fractional money system as we know it today.

But it was precisely the conditions of the High Middle Ages that led to improvements in living conditions and thus also in life expectancy that were the basis for merchant families to develop as a dominant factor and use their power to develop the economy in their own way, for example, and thus also to influence politics.

        I will call you later.

In this case, he CLAIMS to be suing over a Kamala Harris twitter post saying the following:

“Trump operatives say their Project 2025 plan is to give Trump total, unchecked legal power so they can jail and execute those who don’t support Trump if he wins”

She then played a video of Tim Poole… calling for mass arrests of Democrats presumably involved with whatever “crimes” he was referring to, with a guest chiming in and calling for the death penalty.

I guess he could be suing over the words “unchecked legal power”? Or maybe it’s “yes we want to kill people but not for not supporting Trump”? Or maybe being called a “Trump operative” associated with Project 2025? But he definitely can’t sue for the mass arrests and death penalty stuff.

Whatever the case, no one in their right mind would take this moron seriously. Not too long ago, Scott Ritter the pedophile got raided for his work for Russia. It was suggested at that time that the DOJ was going to roll up on other Russian agents. We see that happening now. Tim Poole was slamming his desk calling Ukraine “America’s number one enemy!”, saying how much he hates them, and saying America should apologize to Russia. Days later we find out he was taking $100k an episode of Russkie money, which Timmy claims is “market value” for his videos which get 100,000-200,000 views each (so 1 dollar every 1 or 2 views?) , which is a complete lie. Timmy allegedly is giving interviews with the FBI. I have a feeling he is a subject of the investigation and not just a “victim” as the FBI is currently telling him.

      1. Good points.

    2. Yes, it is the scissors at work, and the communists are using them dialectically. By smashing the right-wing Russia supporters they are engaging in a provocation that draws the right into an over-reaction. If the right reflexively fights back they are unpatriotic. If they do nothing, the next provocation will be more exacting.

      1. ‘If the right reflexively fights back, they are unpatriotic. If they do nothing, the next provocation will be more exacting’–

@JRNyquist: So, what does one do in that case?

        1. It is a problem for political strategists on the right. I am doubtful anyone has formulated a plan. Perhaps it is already being discussed somewhere.

      2. To clarify: as an alternative to those two options, what does one do?

        1. The best course is to firmly steer away from the trap of supporting Russia, or of anything that could be construed as such.

      3. Ye olde “kick the dog until it bites, then shoot it” act. Without many Whitaker Chambers seeing the light and proactively organizing against the threat domestic and foreign, and the sheer weight of millions thrown at Soros type district attorneys, the situation appears quite grim.

        1. Does PETA refer to People for Eating Tasty Animals?

      4. The right reaction would be, as you say, for responsible patriotic conservatives to take control of the movement, boot out the frauds and charlatans, and steer away from anything that smells like friendliness to Russia. It’s crucial for voices like Jeff, Trevor Loudon and Johnny Anderson to prevail in the coming debates among conservatives. There is a smart way to confront the left’s new censorship masquerading patriotism, and it’s not by doubling down on support for Putin and Orban while urging civil war against the left. But it seems this is the trap being laid for conservatives. Meanwhile East Communist agents are free to consolidate their hold on the left safe in the knowledge that they will never be exposed, while the shock of Russia’s self-incriminating invasion fades in the rear-view mirror. The antidote to all this disinformation and provocation is a well-informed public. If at least 20-30% of people are well informed about communist methods then their tricks couldn’t succeed half as well.

        1. Laura: you have offered us an excellent summary of Moscow’s strategic trap, and you have stated the way by which we can escape that trap. This is so well-stated I want to quote from it and comment. “The left’s new censorship” is indeed masquerading as patriotism, and it is coordinated at a high level with the Russians and Chinese; that is to say, the strategists who conceived this bizarre flipping of the American left from Obama’s “Russian reset” to “Biden’s war” in Ukraine, not only have an alibi for the American left, but they can now accuse rightwing leaders of treason (a capital crime). Given the background of Obama’s “flip” in 2012-13, involving secret meetings where Hillary Clinton and John Kerry met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov without translators or American witnesses, it appears the strategy’s outline was first communicated to Moscow’s American friends more than a decade ago. Therefore, it appears this strategy was conceived in Moscow as a way to overcome the impasse that occurred when Bill Clinton proved unable to hand Europe over to Russia. Clinton could not openly abandon NATO and leave Europe to its fate without exposing himself as a “friend” and helper of Moscow. The entire West, being atavistically frightened of Russia, would turn against any politician who attempted a handover of Europe to its nemesis. So an idea must have occurred to the strategists in Moscow: What if we can get rightwing dupes to betray Europe while keeping our friends free from blame? Infuse the right with toxic anti-American conspiracy ideology, so the right begins to sound like the left. Meanwhile, the left’s infiltration of the CIA and capitalism can facilitate this narrative by openly siding against MAGA. Since Obama appointed fellow communists (like John Brennan and James Comey) to run the CIA and FBI respectively, the management of those agencies, and of the Justice Department, would have been reshaped under Obama to facilitate a strategy of misdirection and provocation without necessarily knowing how this strategy would play out. As your summary indirectly suggests, Laura, provocations against the right by the FBI and Justice Department are ideal for accelerating the right’s alienation. This sets up a deadly reciprocal hostility between the patriotic right and America’s national security institutions. This serves to consolidate communist control over America’s security state even as it frames conservatives as rebels against “The Rich Men North of Richmond.” The civil war scenario becomes a set piece, where the right must find itself aligned with Russia and China, as Alex Jones’s Infowars furtively argues. Jones’s assistant, Owen Shroyer, has called America “the bad guys” even as Beijing and Moscow are “the good guys.” As rightwing battlecry this turnabout is unbelievable, but the ground has been carefully prepared for it. What the communists in the West have always feared is a right wing reaction to their final takeover. What is fascinating about your summary, Laura, is your suggestion that “the shock of Russia’s self-incriminating invasion” will fade into the rear view mirror. Indeed, a win-win situation for Russia arises. First, the war in Ukraine is automatically won by Moscow the instant a conflict breaks out inside the United States after a Harris election victory, as MAGA will not accept the outcome, and Harris will use the FBI to provoke and exasperate the disenfranchised losers. Second, Russia also wins if Trump is elected and cuts off Ukraine’s military supplies in a misguided bid for peace. The press will blast Trump/Vance’s betrayal of NATO. America’s strategic position will appear hopeless as we are economically cut off from Europe and Japan. This will result in the return to power of a transitional “progressive” government in 2028 that will hold treason trials while imposing a dictatorship that will — under the color of necessity — surrender to Russia and China. Here is why Mr. Wang has said that “Beijing does not care who wins the election.” Either way, if they continue with their strategy, they feel confident of victory. The biggest mistake the communists could make is to panic and unleash all-out war prematurely, without having attained all the intermediate objectives that would make such a war winnable.

      5. @JRNyquist: Is there any scenario that doesn’t end with the decline of America, and/or its destruction? All of the scenarios that you have laid out seem, frankly, like they are lose-lose-lose for the U.S.

Even if the foreign Communist regimes are toppled in the end by a war with the United States that erupts too soon (from their perspective), they are probably going to take us down with them. There won’t be much of a country left if that happens. It just all sounds so incredibly bleak and miserable. Who can live like that, without hope for a better future? As I’ve said before, it is so easy to give in to despair when thinking of such things.

        1. People have surived very terrible wars, and the rebuilding process can happen faster than most people realize. Herman Kahn, in his study “On Thermoclear War,” said that the U.S. could recover from an all-out nuclear war in about five years, minus certain luxury goods. Tremendous tools are being developed, even now, to make people prosperous. And you must remember, wealth is a relationship of people to goods. And if the destruction is equal between the two categories, the survivers will not be impoverished.

      6. I’m not trying to insult you, or your words, Jeff.

        1. I did not think you were.

There were Popes who were guilty of sinful conduct, but then none of them ever taught anything heretical and this because of the supernatural Divine assistance of the Holy Ghost to them, promised by Christ Our Lord to His true Catholic Church, which in contrast is absolutely lacking to the Novus Ordo apostate Sect that occupies the Vatican today and the excommunicated apostates as Bergoglio who is not so much as a valid Catholic Priest, and him with long-term communist connections in his native Argentina.

Now most of the communists were either Russian Orthodox or (eastern Europe and so on) they were formerly Catholic, but given up the Catholic Faith, which is solely Catholic Tradition and not this new abominable heretical invention they call “Catholic religion” today, and so they lost the otherwise clarity of understanding and wisdom to rule and do good, which otherwise God would have provided to all who do not abuse justice and do not abuse authority – which truth therefore excludes communists altogether because their whole system is founded on injustice, tyranny, murder and the communist state run robbery of most of (if not all) private property…

That there are now in the highest places of all world’s governments and think that they have something to teach to the rest of the world regarding how to live our lives and how to follow their philosophy of live and their ideology of what they believe is the only path to happiness (but the main Bolsheviks have never believed that either), so then their proposals are by design excluding the truth and justice and those who would stand up for these virtues, because then the culprits of evil are the more visible when the contrast of the truth and justice shines upon them, so they have always the urge to diminish and ultimately destroy the anti-communist dissent, because that makes their evil to be obvious and evident in the light of the truth, the same truth that will always expose them in their evil plots, criminality of the whole ideology and of their tyrannical goals and results, so that the communists need to preserve their own survival by resorting to injustice and tyranny, because there is simply no other path for them to maintain their political and oftentimes (mostly always) usurped political power.

And God permits these evils, including the one that has occurred to the Catholic Church with the Novus Ordo apostate Sect, and now the communists embedded inside almost all world’s governments, including the US government, and this in punishment of the godless and atheistic and apostate ungrateful human race…and so no wonder that these things are happening, in fact one wonders why it is not yet any worse, but then God’s designs and His will is always to convert the sinner and make him to understand that there are always the eternal consequences in Hell, from which none escape who disregard Divine Commandments and make up their own ways of life as they decide, and when they follow self-invited false teachers, heretics, then their options of eternal happiness in Heaven become greatly diminished and therefore, at the end, impossible.

Choices in human ways are not limited by the number of philosophical and ideological ideas, as many as there were invented by the mankind, but by the Divine consequences of such ideas, imposed by God to all who would dare to establish the rules of life which is contrary to that which God has established…and Hell is full of such human specimen indeed, those who had heretical and evil ideas and now they are paying for them eternally forever….so it is necessary to add that the human free will establishes nothing good when it is used to counter the Divine will and Laws of God, except that men who use that free will, given to all by God to discern right from wrong, and do the right thing and avoid the evil wrong ones, they regret that they have done so, and oftentimes when it is already too late…in Hell.

And so it is with all communists, and such like criminal element, they all do learn this Divinely imposed truth when they are faced with the consequences of their atheistic communist evils committed by them…for to escape the Divine Justice is impossible.

  6. There is a book, written some 3000 years before Machiavelli, that has some things about kings, honesty and justice. That book is Proverbs (Book of Rules) in the Bible.

“The ruler who causes to pay attention to deceiving words, all his assistants are wicked” 29:10

“A wise king causes the wicked to be scattered, and causes a wheel to turn upon then” 20:26

“Undeserved favor and truth guard (as a protector) a king, and he sustains his throne in undeserved favor.” 20:28

“It is an abomination for kings to do wickedly, for a throne is established in justice.” 16:12

And other verses that follow the same theme that a wise king is also a just king who thereby is secure in his reign. In contrast Xi’s, like Stalin’s. frequent purges are in fear of being removed from the throne by rivals.

Finally, “When the just are many, the people are joyful, but when a wicked one is ruler, the people groan.” 29:2

      (Prov. 29 : 2):

“In the multiplication of just men, the common people shall rejoice:
when the impious shall take princedom, the people shall mourn…”

So the meaning of the new version is altered substantially, especially the part when it speaks about the IMPIOUS because that is the foundation of all evils, when godless atheistic criminals, equipped with fanatical communist ideology, possessed by the devil themselves and forced by him to enforce this evil perverted philosophy on the whole of the populace, then the term IMPIOUS truly fits, because to godless atheistic criminals there is nothing holy and nothing just, but their ends, for which evil ends they willing to do anything, including bloodshed and murderous oppression of all who resist them.

Do NOT allow communists into ANY position of public influence, especially do NOT allow state run “education”…BUT now it is already too late, too too late.

What would a functioning continuity of law and order, counterintel and counteractive measures look like from McCarthy’s time to our own? A Brennan and a Comey might be suffered to serve, even hold clearances, but subject to blacker than black FISA type surveillance warrants that would be the envy of the DDR. With information being the new digital oil, there are fewer obstacles to civilians taking up the mantle of this themselves to a large degree. That would be the hope for the just and patriotic uses of something like Thiel’s Palantir.

Reply to “What would a functioning continuity of law and order, counter-intel and counteractive measures look like from McCarthy’s time to our own?”
        ———-
This is such a good point – except that Sen. McCarthy, as good Catholic, didn’t invent anything except that he truly upheld the Catholic Church’s teaching about Communism, and back then the Papal doctrine of Pope Pius XII and his predecessors on the subject.

Sen. McCarthy knew that communism is a horrible satanic plague, a truly disease of mind and perversion of life that has to be resisted and destroyed, or else communism will take over and enslave all who didn’t resist it, which is the aim of communists in the first place.

And that the United States is still here doesn’t mean anything, in fact the state the country and also EU countries are in, and (for the better terms let;s throw in also the communism approaching Australia and New Zealand etc.) how the communist policies and ideology took such a deep root in this godless world, without the world even perceiving it, that of itself is a victory of this satanic ideology already…so no, it must never be recognized as valid and legitimate form of government because then this atheistic satanic evil doctrine of communism will destroy all that stand in its way, as these fanatics will not stop at anything, including murder and tyranny of the worst order, enforced by their concentration camp injustice and so on.

And unless communism and its policies and ideology is made into a capital offense and any abuse of authority is made into lifelong separation from any possibility to hold any public office afterwards, the doom is real and the consequences are always tragic…and as it is written in the Apocalypse – “And the press was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the press, up to the horses’ bridles, for a thousand and six hundred furlongs. ” (Apoc. 14 : 20), God will repay all evils no matter what the evildoers and their intentions were and are.

NO, there is no turning back as the level of perversion is so great and it goes so deep that even those who claim to be “conservative” they don’t even know themselves what they are conserving and what it truly means – because their conservative “values” are nothing but human doctrines and them holding to them, at the price of compromising on them now and then, but it is NOT of God, and the Divine Law is oftentimes not even reflected in such human “conservative values”.

And this is because of human pride and perverted false foundations of the existing order, where there is no firmness of truth and justice, the same is lacking and only compromise is the outcome…which allows the communists to function and to succeed.

    2. Like R.O. wrote, I have to believe God’s involved in all of this. After all, it says right in the Bible that He makes wise men foolish, and Jesus said, in Matthew Five i think, that poor in spirit will inherit the Kingdom of God. I don’t know what Mohammed or Stalin said along these lines , but I doubt they said anything like that.

It is a very serious blunder and disservice to justice to recognize a communist atheistic tyrannical government as a legitimate form of government, and legal authority of the state.

But not only this, but overall it is a heresy as well, because the secular sword is given by God to the princes FOR GOOD, which means doing good in true justice, and therefore all injustice and tyranny, which includes imposing by force the heresy of heresies atheism upon all people living under the communist rule, and so to use that secular authority for evil purpose (setting aside how that was obtained – and whether that was stolen by communists in the first place…which BTW is their standard operating procedure – i.e. electoral fraud), that is to establish a communist tyranny instead and force upon the whole population a communist way of life that violates liberty of conscience and religious beliefs etc., that makes that very authority in the hands of communists NULL and must NEVER be recognized as legitimate.

So that’s why people as Roosevelt and Churchill and the likes of them, and after them the whole US government and now even Trump himself are guilty of this evil recognition of various communist governments, including China, Russia, NK and so on.

Thus no significant changes in the policies will be seen coming, because those who will be in charge are not the right people and have no intention nor will to fundamentally amend this evil pro-communist recognition and thus the gradual decay and perversion is the only outcome, resulting of course in people as the long-term KGB asset Biden and his successors to control the country of the US of A, and dictating evil pro-communist policies in order to utterly destroy the existing way of life and liberty etc.

So if this is not done, nothing substantially positive in this regard will happen, and things will get worse and worse – and the communists make use of such favorable conditions and implement their evils the more speedily…and mostly without any major resistance from the justice upholding side…!

  8. Regarding the discussion in the comments section on the FBI’s “broad investigation” that is ongoing, my own view is that it is justified, and it should be welcomed. Some are trying to classify it (people in Bannon’s circle like Natalie Winters) as a politically motivated Russia Collusion Hoax 2.0, others like InfoWars (Harrison Smith) are arguing there is nothing wrong with taking money from RT/Russia and that is not a violation of FARA because it isn’t lobbying. These two examples are fairly representative of the pro-Russia, pro-Trump camp and what else should we expect from programs that call Zelensky a fascist and a NAZI and that meet with and promote people like Dugin?

The Bannon/InfoWars camp which overlaps with the Tim Poole camp would probably welcome and have a different tune on a similar investigation regarding the communist Chinese which is telling. This indicates that one of the following might be true in these groups. That Russian money is indeed flowing to influencers in these groups, the dull mindset that anything a Democratic administration does must be bad therefore Putin good and Zelensky bad and that they are ignorant of the details of the dissolution of the Soviet Union and the current level of cooperation between Russia and China for world domination.

I say the investigation should be welcomed, because nothing good will come of taking Russian money and letting Russian money influence the politics of the so-called right in the United States. Anyone taking Russian money or collaborating with Russia should be nervous right now and that is a good thing and hopefully it will help clean house.

If I could have a conversation with anyone that had an open mind in the aforementioned camps, I would tell them this regarding RT: Follow this trail: Soviet Information Bureau — Novosti Press Agency (APN) — Information Agency Novosti (IAN) — Russian Information Agency Novosti (RIA Novosti) — Founding of All Russia State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company (VGTRK) and RIA Novosti incorporated inside it — RIA Novosti launches Russia Today (RT) via parent organization ANO TV-Novosti.

What this trail shows is that RT’s origins are Soviet and that it is partly government funded through the Federal Agency for Press and Mass Communications (FAPMC) until the latter was dissolved in 2020 and functions moved to the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media (MinTsifry Rossii) which originated from the Soviet era Ministry of Communications. MinTsifry Rossii recently entered an agreement with China’s National Radio and Television Administration to cooperate on news coverage and media narratives (see Ukraine biolabs narrative as a potential case of this). So, one of the funding bodies for RT (assuming RT currently receives funds from MinTsifry Rossii) has a cooperation agreement with communist China.

Furthermore, and back to RIA Novosti the parent to RT (via ANO TV-Novosti), during the Cold War it was in the congressional record that RIA Novosti had at least 50 KGB Service A officers sitting in their headquarters which means RIA Novosti was tasked with active measures. Is RT any different? There is evidence RT serves the special services just like RIA Novosti did. The FBI recently put out a report showing high level RT employees not only cooperated with the FSB but worked for an FSB run “private intelligence unit” (backed by the Russian Presidential Administration) that launched a large active measures social media bot farm.

Supporting RT is tantamount to supporting the goals of the FSB and the Russian Presidential Administration and supporting the Russian government means you support communist China by proxy, because the two are in what some analysts (see Russian International Affairs Council dialogue) have described as a relationship “surpassing an alliance.”

    1. Dear Mr. Fulk: excellent analysis of the Soviet nature of the Bannon/Poole/Infowars narratives and why it is important to investigate these people. Absolutely! There are money flows and personal contacts linking these rightwing voices to Moscow AND Beijing. We should not be shy about facts everyone can see. Espionage is a difficult crime to prove, especially when we are talking about exposing a Russian active measures operation. Yet some narratives offend in such a big way, they cannot be anything BUT an active measure. Bannon’s secret 2018 meeting with Alexander Dugin deserves more attention in this context. To expose the rightwing collaborators with Russia is very important because it helps us clean house. What is also significant is that no housecleaning has occurred on the left. When and if the FBI begins to put the second big puzzle piece into place, we can all breathe a sigh of relief; for we are doubly compromised, and doubly infiltrated. What alarms me, however, is the use of all this by the leftists in the Justice Department to provoke the right in furtherance of their own alibi — and to enlarge their power by widening their dragnet indiscriminately. I further hope the right will not overreact in turn.

  9. Jeff, not sure if you can comment, an Hong Kong person who lives in New Zealand sent me this article on the Hong Kong Democracy Movement’s relationship with the CCP, when i met with the person for a brief discussion, he was very disillusioned with the people from the academic profession and the media when he tried to explain that the Hong Kong Protest of 2019 was actually a campaign of murder that was pre-planned by the CCP to the academic profession and people who wrote books on the Hong Kong 2019 protest, the response is the typical ‘it’s a conspiracy’ and when the person tried to get the people who wrote books on the Hong Kong 2019 protest to mention the Hong Kong 2019 protest was a campaign of murder, they simply refused as well and when i asked the person if they know of anyone that is missing from the Hong Kong 2019 protest, the person disclosed to me that he has at least 2 people from his extended family missing because they ignored his warnings not to go on the streets:

I recommend to your readers this interview of Victor Rud by Lauren Morris: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xdfv_-wQhj8. Rud offers his assessment of the Ukrainian situation and the West’s response that is penetrating and well grounded in his own family’s experience. He recounts anecdotes that lay bare the depth and duration of the Communist, and especially anti-anti-Communist, brainwashing of the West. Teaser: his own parents were targets of Operation Keelhaul, from the clutches of which they mercifully escaped to the U.S. Even for those who are fairly well read and informed about the subject, there is plenty to learn from Rud.

    1. Keelhaul — for those that do not know — was an Allied operation to round up millions of Soviet refugees who had fled West and return them to Stalin. Many had been either POWs or used as laborers in the Third Reich during the war. Nearly all of these poor people were sent to the gulag to die.

One of the most horrifying scandals in modern history.

So this is almost common practice, it seems.

Such people who use their authority to allow or order something like this, they should be stripped of their secular authority and charged with crime against humanity (violation of human and religious rights), including the judge and the governor responsible.

But again – it is too late, many more communist replacements are available, so one is removed, another takes his or her place, and the status quo is preserved again and nothing happens to the contrary.

Communism has been destroying the world for about 176 years now since the Marx’s manifesto, and so the Communist Party has already enough experience and agents worldwide, and they don’t waste time but are ordered to infiltrate and subvert entire governments.

The British government was penetrated by communists long ago, and the US is not that far behind. And since they were able to return people to Stalin at that time, even though they knew that Stalin would expedite them all into Siberia, as he did to his own soldiers, especially those who have seen the Western countries (then free countries in Eastern Europe) that of itself is very evil, and morally it amounts to being guilty as accessories to murder.

But when you realize that at that time the communists were already in key positions in the US Department of State and inside the Pentagon and so on, and that they had no difficulty to get rid of Sen. McCarthy and even Gen. Patton, and to cover it all up, and the smear tactics and the pro-communist policies of the Roosevelt and Truman Administrations, which continues afterwards with Carter, Clinton and even Bush (W.), what can be expected other than communism advancing and the threat of somebody like Biden and now the woman coming into play, and the communists cheating their way into power once again, and the controlled opposition “writing strong letters” and “raising their voice of opposition” – knowing full well that none of these traitors will be hauled to the gallows (where only they belong), and when Trump had the opportunity to get rid of them all when they were caught to cheat in 2020, and he only fired Barr and too late at that, and that’s about it – and so treachery, treachery and again treachery – and compromises that create injustice and make things lot worse…

And this is not incompetence, but very well calculated communist design, and they only want to be seen as incompetent or claim that they couldn’t do anything more…”under the law”.

One day, when these traitors find out that they are no longer needed by the Kremlin KGB Mafia, they will find themselves on one of those armored train heading for Siberia themselves, and what will they claim then ? (If they live that long and are rather not executed by Russian Spetznaz or CCP military firing squad when captured in the US…).

Bannon was somewhat upset all the time when the word communists was used, he is a good speaker, and well educated, but he fits the profile of one of those controlled opposition people, and so does Trump, based on what his background is, and the compromises and shaking hands and contracts with the Bolshevik criminals, making them equal to the free people…communist criminals that should be locked up or better executed for being evil and guilty of murder and tyranny, treason and plotting communist subversion.

    1. The communists have had plenty of difficulty along the way. Trying to control people is like herding cats. One should not make it sound easier than it is. There are opportunities for us.

        Dear Mr. Nyquist,
when the communist revolution is successful there is no more turning back, and you can see that for example in today’s Venezuela, and of course in China and NK and Cuba etc.

Since they were able to steal the 2020 and 2022 elections, that indicates that they are already firmly in control. The only way to counter it, as it may seem, is by winning the presidency (but Trump will not do the right thing, he will come short), and then if they continue their evil, either call Marshall Law or bring them all, the whole communist establishment (Democrats and those on the Republican side, the sleepers) on indictment of treason, military tribunals. And the judges and all the FBI and DOJ etc.

But that is not possible to be done, because for that you need an army of fully committed anti-communists, and that is a great problem.

They will of course use all means under the “law” to try to protect themselves, and then what is left – SCOTUS, and that is not a good thing because that will remain as it was in 2020 – they did nothing.

Of course one can try to maintain somewhat hope, but the reality speaks against it, and yes, God is offended and will permit these evils to come about. Let us hope that this above it wrong, but you know that so far it ain’t, and that it is not skepticism but reality…

        1. I do not know what you mean by “there is no turning back.” Plenty was turned back in Spain from 1936-1939. And in Chile in the 1970s. Ukraine has risen up, and is fighting Moscow with tremendous courage. China’s economy is collapsing as well, even as Cuba and Venezuela are shaken. And look at these fools running the Democratic Party. Have you ever seen a more unseemly intellectual incompetence married to dishonesty. These people will blow themselves up. The only question is how many of us they will take with them. Let us not make our enemies out to be ten feet tall when they are better described as small and mean. However bad things get, and they could get very bad, there is a great deal to be done and to be hoped for. It is better to look at all the good possibilities opening up, instead of repeating old defeatist lines from the past. The communists will be swept away at some point. The ultimate victory is not theirs. Gustave Le Bon wrote two books touching on this: “The Psychology of Socialism” and “The Psychology of Revolutions.” He predicted the victory of socialism in the short term, and then its ultimate defeat; for as it wins, it dies from its own wickedness and opens the way for a return of older forms of society. Socialism is not a creative force, but a destructive force, It’s effective power is destruction. Augusto del Noce, the Italian philosopher, once wrote, “people keep talking in terms of left and right. All that people on the right do, essentially, is identify totalitarianism with Stalinism and deny that Communism might undergo a democratic evolution (and they are certainly correct, but they stop at one limited aspect of the problem).” The situation involves many factors, and is primarily a spiritual and intellectual opportunity for those with eyes to see. We need to be honest, now, regarding the society that has passed away. Too many of the people in our civilization have been spiritually dead becasue they have long repeated religious formulas without understanding them. The proof that they did not understand, is found in the deplorable decadence we see around us. Today’s politicians, especially, no longer understand what del Noce called “the present ethical reality.” This means that they are not really politicians. They do not know how to be good, or sincere. They do not seek this. Instead, they seek power. This makes them frauds, imposters, clowns, bunglers — who repeat words that used to be full of meaning, yet those meanings are now lost. Many of our politicians are people who have misread and misunderstood what is happening because that is what empty people do. Politicians of the type that are popular often lack a larger view, and have no sense of those deeper meanings that must be grasped if societal regeneration is to occur. We have to stop thinking about power as the decisive element in politics, and start realizing the healing effect of ethnical conduct and goodness. The West is disintegrating because we no longer no acknowledge what is truly good. We give lip service, but there is reason to think most of our impressive talkers are windbags who put the wrong things first. One might complain about the communists all day and all night, but unless you can show people goodness, you are not really showing them a way out. Goodness, by the way, is something that stands above the repition of dogmas or slogans, which most people do not properly understand. A spiritual connection to God, for example, can involve a person in endless verbal repetitions and acrobatics. But many who engage in this talk, do not really know what they are saying (in the experiential sense), and nothing good comes of them. If you listen closely, you can usually tell what you are hearing. The wise man, in these matters, must keep his counsel, for there is no arguing with the blind about the color green. There is no reason to get bogged down with other people’s firmly held nonsense. It is better to wink and smile, and ignore the ignorant and the foolish. They are far too numerous to contend with. As King Frederick said, most people are neither evil nor good. The ones we need to guard against are a minority. And they can be beaten.

@Jeff Nyquist In my opinion, Argentina is a good example of how many things can be reversed. How much depends on international organizations such as the IMF. We can follow everything on a daily basis, draw our conclusions, help if necessary and learn, learn, learn… which will hopefully then be followed by an impetus for implementation in our own country.

      3. @Jeff Nyquist: I personally view Marxism is a malignant cancer from the traditional history of revolutions. The egalitarianism and equality revolutions were not new in human history as there were many peasantry revolts to dynastic changes in many parts of the world. China has saw communist revolution as far back as late Han dynasty when Yellow Turbans Rebellion saw peasants rose up to demand equality; however, the rebellion felt apart because their radicalism couldn’t wise up for stable leadership. The trend of human civilizations always have radical revolutions bringing up violent ends to older institutions, then the new institutions rose up to eliminate revolutionary radicals and pave ways for stable leadership. The trend of human history will see revolutions then stable nations, the end. The modern history has completely changed that old concepts.

It would have been the story with the communists starting with the Bolshevik Revolution. However, Marxists have a twisted vision of their communist revolutions. Trotskyites or far left want a perpetual revolution to keep humanity under constant fear to submit themselves under communism. Leninists or authoritarian Marxists want us to revert back to the old days of totalitarian feudalism where feudal rulers have complete control over their lives. Both sides of Marxism have the twisted vision of projecting their dreams globally which is unseen in past revolutions. Marxism is a malignant cancer that mutated out of historical trends to become a dominating force against natural order of humanity.

In China, dictator Xi is constantly praising many successes of “Chinese cultures” reviving from Cultural Revolution to continue making the country more “Chinese” through discouraging its people from learning foreign languages unless it is for work and actively implementing firewalls/censorship. Many global conservatives praise China for keeping their culture pure but none of them ever mentions on how Xi Jinping constantly praises North Korea for their model of totalitarianism. This is why many Chinese elites that I know constantly fear Dictator Xi turning China into a more sophisticated North Korea through the disguise of making China more “China” again. This is the Chinese version of scissors strategy to fool the world and their own people where China becomes more communist without people realizing. Russia is already similar and even more complete than China in this method, so I won’t talk much since Russians pretty much fooled 99% of global conservatives and traditionalists that Russia is traditionalist when it is actually more communist than China – Russia has nationalized foreign assets but China never did after 1990.

We’re now witnessing the far left actors in the West converting the last bastion of humanity into communism. CONCERNED is panicking for a good reason but I do shared some hope with Mr Nyquist that we can turn back the tides.

        1. Yin Long: Yes, your point is well taken. Yet Marxism is not the same as the old peasant revolts. It is ideological, and therefore poisonous in a deeper sense. It represents a kind of inversion of the soul and of the soul’s reality. It is therefore destructive of the soul’s order, which is the basis of social and political order. All of reality is structured. It has order. This is true in Nature and in Society. When you introduce something that says the social order that grew organically out of centuries of painstaking development is wrong, you have something more than a political rebellion or a social revolution. You have a revolution against the universally given order writ large. This is what most of these revolutionaries do not understand. The best we have, socially, is not perfect in the sense of some rationalist or constructivist scheme. Society gradually develops its structures through the work of countless individuals over many generations. There will always be injustice and poverty and wars, etc. These are merely part of the refining process. When people attempt to break with the past, and take a revolutionary course, they are destroying the foundations of society. They are going back to a more primitive state without realizing it. And this has terrible consequences, especially if the revolutionaries are attempting to recast the human soul.

While Christianity, for example, overthrew paganism in the fourth century Roman world, it did not entirely do away with pagan concepts of order, the Roman political or economic system, etc. It changed many things on the level of the soul, but nonetheless maintained much that was part of the old Empire. Of course, as Gibbon showed, the fall of the western Roman Empire followed within a generation of the destruction of the pagan temples. The whole story of Rome’s fall, I think, demonstrates the sensitivity of political institutions to changes in the soul. Any tinkering with man’s concepts of cosmic order (and moral order) necessarily brings catastrophic changes in its wake. Today the situation is much worse because communism does not represent a transition from one value system to another. Communism is intrinsically nihilistic because its inversion of ontology is nihilist; that is, there can be no communist society or economy. Every process by which man reaches for communist paradise must result in destruction and a breakdown of fundamental concepts of order (as workable order). And human beings cannot live in a world so disordered — in a world of perpetual and progressive disintegration. No peasant uprising was able to achieve what the Marxist-Leninists have achieved in terms of death and destruction; especially, the Marxiods have unleashed a massive wave of murder and expropriation. And I suspect we have not seen the worst of it.

Regarding earlier peasant revolts, Müntzer and the Zwickau prophets were radical Protestants in Germany during the 16th century who taught communistic doctrines that lead to the German Peasant’s War or uprising. Shafarevich’s book, “The Socialist Phenomenon,” points out that these socialist-religious revolts, inspired by apocalytpic notions, had a family resemblance in common with the Cathars (which the Inquisition was initially formed to fight). Going back to earlier peasant revolts, however, Shafarevich does not see them as ideological. Something about the Reformation, more than any other event, opened the door to revolutionary theological speculations and dogmas which evolved during the scientific revolution and Age of Discovery into ideologies. The Reformation demonstrated man’s capacity for re-envisioning man’s place in the universe at will, opening the way for wilfull people to dream up creeds promising salvation through poltical rebellion. Presbyterianism, for example, was blamed for the English Civil War by Thomas Hobbes. Similar statements have been appended to the American Revolution of 1776. But the defining revolution was that of the French, which brough forward a mass of half-digested ideological notions. Carl Jung, in his book “Aeon,” touches on many of these movements which he calls “Antichrist movements.” These, he said, were picking up speed over the last thousand years. These are part of a logical development, he thought, involving man’s underestimation of evil. Jung strongly suspected that communism was the ultimate form these movements were destined to take. He thought communism and its cousin ideologies would eventually produce a nuclear world war, occuring in the first decades of the twenty-first century. For those who grasp the truth (or partial truth) of cycle theory, mankind does appear to be at the end of a larger cycle of civilization in which materialism and its related phenomena signify a spiritual withering. The better cultural and philosophic observers have realized that Nietzche, for example, was an apocalyptic writer, with his own eschatology. Joseph Schumpeter saw socialism as something that was unstoppable, describing capitalism as the decaying form of feudalism. In my opinion, the destruction of Western civilization has already occurred inwardly, in the soul, on the level of spirit. The physical destruction, as it were, plays out later. Everything has crumbled inside, and the outside then begins to fall apart decades later. Since there is nothing holding the outer shell in place, that shell must crumble.

Does that mean everyone dies? No. Does it mean that most Americans will die? Not necessarily. What we are talking about is a transition to new political and social forms which must be organic as opposed to the artificial and corrupt constructions we are using to keep things going at present. By organic I mean forms that possess real meaning, that can develop more elaborate and lasting inner structures, drawing the devotion of men; especially, of fighting men (or men willling to fight, which in desperate times amounts to the same thing). These “new” forms will necessarily be patriarchal and aristocratic, spontaneously arising out of a general collapse. Certainly, it has always been man’s place to create these forms through spiritual and martial endaevors. What will begin as a makeshift adaptation will probably become the foundation of a new system. There is no individual archetect in such things, any more than there is a Wizard of Oz at the center of the market system. It will be the work of many hands, following a natural process of reconstruction.

In terms of solving our larger problems, communism and socialism are not solutions. They are correlates of the larger problem. As such, communism/socialism bears the purpose of eating up dead tissue the way maggots clean up a corpse. I use this anology to be suggestive, not knowing the full scope of the destruction to come, or what the recovery will entail. What we know from history is that a stabilization, or recovery, will happen. People will survive. Life will go on. A living system seeks equilibrium, and there is within all this a striving for equilibrium.

One last comment: How indeed, did the Russians and Chinese so readily fool 99 percent of global conservatives and traditionalists, as you point out? People who are fooled bear a great deal of the responsiblity for their belief in untruth. Their lack of depth gives them away as party to the larger problem. I do not mean to blame the victim for the evil that the communists have done. The victim is in a weak state, weakened by an inward attrition of instincts, by false concepts, by adopting beliefs without really owning them, or understanding what they mean. This loss of meaning, and this inner hollowness and falseness, has led them to the superficial materialist orientation that we see everywhere today. Here we find an exaggerated rotten pragmatism that rules much of politics, and becomes a cancer when proper ideals have died out and can offer no check to shallow ambitious people. Our system used to be much stronger. It really was remarkably strong, even when it was initially succumbing to the first onslaught of the disease. Today we see that everything has progressed to a more pathological state. The point of reversal comes when the disease cannot advance any further. When will this happen? It could happen tomorrow, or it could take fifty years. I am not thinking it will happen tomorrow.

Yes, they can be reversed, on discrete occasions such as Chile and Argentina. The problem is at the 30,000 foot level. When we look down at the oceanic tide of history, we see that the unmistakable drift is always leftward, with occasional blips. The positive blips are certainly significant for those who experience them, as the gulags are significant for those who are betrayed into them. An enormous shift in thinking is necessary to stop this inexorable drift. I spent much of my adult life engaged actively in this battle on the education front. It was like Augustine’s Child emptying out of the ocean with a spoon. Perhaps the only answer is beyond the 30,000 foot level, at the level of the infinite. Augustine expressed his skepticism at the Child’s labors: “‘Indeed,’ said the child, ‘but I will sooner draw all the water from the sea and empty it into this hole than you will succeed in penetrating the mystery of the Holy Trinity with your limited understanding.’ Augustine turned away in amazement and when he looked back the child had disappeared.” Of course, the authentic mystical tradition is intimately united to the mundane, boots on the ground performance of our daily duties. “If you want world peace,” said Mother Teresa, “go home and love your families.”

    1. Yes, indeed. But my point is that all trends are reversed in the larger ebb and flow of history. It is only a matter of time before this particular evil is mitigated. If communism is not rolled back at some point humanity will become extinct. Gustave Le Bon argued that when socialism revealed itself as a destructive force to a majority of people, the destruction will have reached its maximum. At that point mankind would recoil in horror and the red tide would go out. This is the usual the course of evil. This argued is how the Soviet leaders knew to mimic their own demise, knowing this was the expectation of most scientific anticommunist observers of the socialist phenomenon in the West. Evil disguised as good has limits. The reason to be vocally against socialism is to warn people what is coming in order to reduce the death and destruction it brings. We can never entirely eliminate evil from the world. The red tide is still coming in. But we should see it in its larger context.

    ———-
    Dear Mr. Nyquist,
you have to read the whole context – the term used was when the communist revolution is successful.

Of course the examples you have given, in case of Spain which back then was still truly Catholic country, the military were all good Catholics and the Church in Spain directed them to resist the communist terror, murders and political tyranny, so the military and police force rose up and fought and the Catholic population was helping, it took 3 and half years of bloody civil war, which in fact was truly Holy Crusade against (Russian) communism, and there were even miracles taking place, including on the battle field.

As Louis Bolin wrote (book “Spain, the vital years”), most of the weapons that the Franco’s forces had were Russian communist made and acquired on the battle field, from which follows that the communists were in so much fear they were leaving their rifles and tanks and artillery guns and ammo behind them and ran away.

In case of 1969-1970 Chile, that seems to be more a mercy of God than anything else, and of course a serious warning to the world not to trust anything Moscow and anybody else from the communist bloc promotes and promises.

    Allende was defeated.

So the KGB Kremlin Mafia got wiser, and they began first with their perversion of manners and morality scheme, infesting Hollywood and such like entertaining and media centers with communist agents, to pervert the world and thus prevent the favor of God to be obtained, because of sin and immorality.

So the situation today, as the world’s godlessness has much more progressed to the levels never seen before, God is that much more offended and the problem is that when the communist scourge is successful, then there is truly no turning back, because there is no more substantial unity in the potential resistance to communism, as the resolve to fight back is nearly non-existent, which back in 1936 Catholic Spain and even before in 1920s in Mexico (the Christeros) was the leading force, that is God, His honor and His true Catholic Church being defended by true Catholics…and this is not here anymore.

This is reality no matter what people may think, it is the truth.

Of course people will resist when it comes, but not fully unified and without the help of God, as the offense and sin are so great that without the Divine help they will try to resist the communists and will be brought under the yoke of Stalinism – the Antichrist – for 3 and half years. as it is written in the Holy Scripture, and as Our Lady of Fatima warned the whole world that : “Russia will spread her errors, causing wars and persecutions against the Church, the Holy Father will have much to suffer (the true Pope in hiding, not the Novus Ordo sectarians as the layman impostor Bergoglio today), VARIOUS NATIONS will be annihilated…”

So there is no pessimism nor skepticism, but only reality of the overall situation – and the perversion of this world as it is today so great, the general apostasy foretold also in the Holy Scripture, that is the main reason why communism will take over the whole world, as the tool of Divine punishment of the godless and the hedonistic and lust for money and pride seeking selfish criminals living in it.

But yes, there is always hope, and the Divine Institution the true Catholic Church will be protected by God, as He has promised, and the Novus Ordo Sect, occupying the Vatican today, will be destroyed, as that is the Sect of the apostate horrible new religion which is not Catholic.

  15. Unable to reply under comments I am referring to, for some reason. But so appreciate JRN’s words of positive, reality-based perspective above, that all is not a foregone loss with communism in/over America. Likewise, I so appreciated the Communism Conference video discussion on Trump. Like Jean, I have become more and more cynical regarding Trump and only seeing potential negative, evil outcomes there. But Jeff’s, Trevor’s and Alex’s shared perspectives brought the balance needed, instilling a fresh clarity to move forward in truth. (Ps 37 In short – fret not, trust God, and go do good.)

Agree the root issue in America is deeply spiritual. We’ve abandoned the love of the Truth and discernment for comfort and ease. We have not been wise, and the Word says it is the Fear of the Lord that is the beginning of wisdom. Thruout biblical history, God has always worked thru the natural sphere of geopolitics and His people to reveal Himself – be it thru blessing or discipline. At the core, America’s future largely depends on God’s people in America -across all all demonimations, ethnicities, socioeconomic levels, etc – to really come together, humbly before Him, and actually do II Chron 7:14, Joel 2:12-18 and Dan 9:3-19 type prayer. (Isa 26:9 Because we humans r slow to learn true righteousness with gentler discipline and warnings, apparently, or so history shows.) Then, He promises He will pour out His true healing, justice, and reconciliation on behalf of the nation that only He can fully provide/do. We REALLY need God’s mercy and intervention now!!

Lastly, I would so appreciate, at some point, learning more about the harnessed “useful idiots, ” fellow-travelers”,” “political prostitutes,” etc – their reality, strategic purpose and creation, and their final outcomes they had thru history. Do you have any recommendations of resources outside your blog and other analysts like you? I see many naive to corrupt/fully committed people to communist/socialist worldview all around me, and it is painful. Some have no idea of their treachery, probably, and that it is going to only boomarang back onto themselves, eventually. If you could try to reason with this broad array of people- foreign and domestic- what would you specifically say to them? What has been your experience, having such conversations? How do you broach the conversation? Assume some are so committed to evil, there is no way to reason with them. But, seeing many who are just deceived and fully convinced they are on the right side of history- although not having a clue to the real, deadly history they are just grievously partnering with and repeating. Assume there are no simple, cookie-cutter responses here. Just looking for any extra pearls of wisdom for these types of convos.

    Thanks for all you do.

      Dear writer Mntgal,
under no circumstances try to reason with anybody like that, because if they are communist agents they will try to get your personal data so that they can report it to their commanding officer and record it what you have said, for future political persecutions.

This is one of the Communist Party’s most important and extremely dangerous operations – collection of vast data on the anti-communist resistance, political opinions, what you have said to their provocations, they may even say something against the communists BUT only to open your mind up for more opinions from you etc.

In another words – there is no reasoning with communist fanatics, and yes, ALL of them are fanatics, atheistic vermin that will not do anything else but to advance their evil cause until they succeed, and in their diabolical possessed minds they are fully convinced that communism is the best thing the world could ever have.

The ONLY way to deal with communists is from the position of power, justice and truth, destroying their evil councils and punishing their crimes with true firm justice. If it takes a civil war, when all other options are fully exhausted, that is the only way to deal with communism…That is the ONLY thing that works with them, anything else is only helping them to advance and to destroy all who stand in their way.

And regarding those who are genuinely confused, they have to learn to grove up and learn the truth and stop reading and watching communist propaganda, and supporting the communist controlled opposition, then they would see clearly, God willing, that communism is NOT just another political system, but a truly diabolical extreme evil that must be fully eradicated or else it will destroy all else in its train, as the communists planned and profess and do.

    2. Mntgal: It is interesting you should ask about the various ways to distinguish useful idiots and fellow travelers from the hardcore communist. I have been giving this a lot of thought, since the best scenarios for averting disaster involve a kind of amnesty which most would undoubtedly take. But it cannot be an amnesty where people return to the old system with a socialist do-over ready at hand. Once activists have admitted participation in the destructionist totalitarian scheme, they will not be allowed in politics again. In practical politics, under these circumstances, you have to forgive people — and allow them to forgive themselves. At the same time, you want to prevent society from being reinfected with violent totalitarian ideas. A complete reform of education will not be easy, and is perhaps the hardest, most necessary, part. Here we see why a terrible ordeal — education by fire — may be necessary for most people. Simply put, most people have been indoctrinated to some degree or other. The process of deprogramming will, at the very least, involve a most unpleasant combination of fear and regret.

    Regarding Friends & Enemies

Telegram: The Kremlin has long sought to compel Durov and Telegram into complying with Russian censorship efforts and to strengthen its control over Russian ultranationalist milbloggers https://www.understandingwar.org/backgrounder/russian-offensive-campaign-assessment-august-25-2024. Just a hint that Russia also practices censorship – so we should take note.

The FDP is a liberal party, not a libertarian one. Liberal versus Libertarian (in short)
    1. Liberals advocate for social and economic equality, while libertarians emphasize individual freedom and limited government intervention.
    2. Libertarians prioritize private property rights and free markets, while liberals support government intervention to address societal inequalities.
    3. Liberals favor a social safety net to help vulnerable citizens, while libertarians believe in self-reliance and minimal government support.
In view of the strained budget situation in Germany and the increasingly poor performance of the FDP in the state elections, but also in the EU elections, the federal chairman of the FDP and at the same time federal finance minister Christian Lindner is trying to use the ‘debt brake’ to shape the 2025 budget in such a way that it is not unconstitutional from the outset. Among other things, aid of 4 billion euros was discussed for Ukraine; to date, however, there has been no concrete rejection of this.
Basically, the Federal Government is counting on Ukraine being able to receive greater support in the future with the help of interest from frozen Russian state assets. A spokesman for the Federal Press Office referred to the decision of the G7 summit in Italy in June, according to which Ukraine should be provided with around 50 billion US dollars in support by the end of the year, including using the interest from Russian assets. The Ministry of Finance said: “This means that in the future, bilateral aid from Germany will be partially transferred to international programs.”
Since Scholz has just announced that the German Defense Ministry will not receive any more billions (than already agreed), there are concerns that aid to Ukraine will be reduced.
There is also no concrete, credible information yet about Zelensky’s visit to Ramstein on Friday and the subsequent conversation with Scholz in Frankfurt/Main.
Regarding Lindner: I would not place too much importance on who is currently sitting in which trans-Atlantic organizations; many of these organizations have been infiltrated or completely hijacked by the communists.

    1. The term “liberal has changed,” but originally, and in many places still, it signifies something closer to libertarianism than to what it has become in the USA. So there is some overlap between the two, excepting the anarcho-capitalist libertarians.
