Avoiding Civil War: Plus, Jimmy, Conservatives for Ukraine, and Johnny Anderson

Using words to confuse the truth, or to advance a lie, is a common political practice. We should be very strict when it comes to truth and falsehood. Charles Upton, who is now suffering from cancer (see his GoFundMe), explained how Russian “philosopher” Aleksandr Dugin has indulged in absurd contradictions and falsehoods for the sake of Russian power. “This method of ‘thinking,’” wrote Upton, “on the basis of power rather than truth … is part of what Dugin means by ‘power as the dispositive of violence’ … because the destruction of thought through intellectual cunning is also violence.”[i]

There are many problems with lying. One of the chief dangers is self-deception; that is, the danger that you will believe your own lies. Take Kamala Harris as an example. She weirdly delights in her own delusional thinking. She embarrasses herself constantly, yet she is not apparently embarrassed. She seems to believe in her own rhetoric; that is, she believes in redistributing wealth. She wants an open border. She wants a woke military. She thinks abortion signifies freedom for women. As Upton noted, delusions of this kind reinforce a willful ignorance that entrenches selfishness. Here a politician tries to take the place of God through a pack of lies – spreading what will end in death for millions and “nothing else.”[ii]

In this context, a young prodigy named Rudyard Lynch, sees a civil war coming to America. He points to several historical markers: financial crisis, violent extremism, and decadence. Lynch knows an American civil war will be a right versus left conflict. Such will empower the extremists at the expense of the moderates. In other words, he is describing a revolutionary process more than that of civil war. He references the Roman Civil War, which was a revolution, and the wars of religion in the 1600s. This is what Lynch sees coming to America.

In terms of winners and losers, Lynch gives conservatives (or the right) an eighty percent chance of winning a civil war. In my view, it all depends on how quick the war develops and whether Russia and China can effectively intervene. Setting Russia and China aside, Lynch is correct in saying that “blue cities” are like islands in a sea of red. They are leftist strongholds isolated from each other by vast stretches of anti-leftist territory. Lynch also recognizes that the lower ranks of the armed services are right-of-center. The left is therefore vulnerable on two major points.

UC San Diego political scientist Barbara F. Walter, who is a left-of-center “expert” on civil wars and violent extremism, also thinks America is headed for civil war. I have mentioned her work in previous articles. She is not as insightful as Lynch, though she is better credentialed and has worked with a CIA task force. Her concern, of course, is “threats to democracy” which tells me that she has not thought deeply about her own biases or the importance of “checks and balances” above democracy. Having read her book, it seems she has framed civil war as a danger coming from the “right,” which she characterizes as anti-democratic. For her, ideology rather than identity is the proper basis for a stable political order. If we all believe in the same ideology, ethnic and religious diversity will not be a problem. She enjoins us, then, to believe in a center-left ideology which turns a blind eye to the dangers of wokeism and the totalitarian left. Reading between the lines of her book, she appears to think we can mix peoples and religions together in a kind of fruit salad of peoples. This is somehow workable if we indoctrinate everyone with democratic slogans. She is opposed to identity politics, which she associates with the far right and far left; though what she considers to be “far” is more on the right than on the left. If I were to say that mixing populations is an invitation to civil war, she would counter my argument by proposing something akin to a liberal Titoism. But to make that work, she would have to rely on police power for unity. How long would that work? Using ideology to eradicate ethnic identity did not work under Tito, and it won’t work in America.

It is interesting that Rudyard Lynch and Barbara F. Walter represent two opposing views on the coming civil war in America. Lynch looks back many centuries to understand civil war while Walter’s presentism focusses on contemporary history. Lynch sees that men have been devalued by society while Walter is a feminist. Lynch is on the right, yet he warns of dangerous extremism on the right and left. Walter is on the left, and only sees danger on the right. Her reifications whitewash her favored party, heaping all blame on Donald Trump.

Rather than science, what we have in Walter is the demonization of conservatives. She argues that civil wars are not the result of diversity but are caused by states that are between democracy and authoritarianism. To be stable, she says, a regime must be fully democratic or fully authoritarian. She does not see that a so-called “democratic society” craves homogeneity; that too much diversity can destroy freedom. A human being is an individual who speaks a specific language, who has a specific skin color, who is brought up in a specific culture. There is no such thing as a culturally neutral human, unless that human has no heritage, no language, no skin color. People are tribal in the sense that they prefer their own kind, feel safer among their own (all other factors being equal). What kind of trust or national unity is possible between people who are ethnically, racially, and culturally different? Here we see the truth of the matter; namely, that people cannot be changed into ethnic neuters. The campaign to destroy American culture, or British culture, or French culture, by embracing a so-called “multiculture” is not going to achieve anything positive. By nature we reject what is alien to our own ways because we seek to preserve our identity, our language, our family structure, our heritage, our society. We do not want to break into pieces. We do not want to live as disassociated fragments or free-falling atoms. Where is the “community” in that? What happens with the common defense under that?

Yet that is what the ideologists of the political left would impose on us. The tendency of each race, each religion, each ethnicity, is to segregate. People choose to be with people who are like themselves, etc. A melting pot can be a good thing, within limits. But leftist ideology (in its destructionism) has gone past those limits. In doing this, leftism has proven to be a false doctrine. Using Marxism as a template, the critical race theorists have poisoned American society with the false promise that ethnic and racial differences can be entirely done away with. I believe that only a gradual organic process can mold various communities into ONE NATION. Political agitation and state power will only strengthen racial tensions. In my view, the left uses the word “diversity” as a cudgel against society.

In closing it must be said that Americans are more accepting of racial and ethnic differences than other peoples in the world. Yet, the left would open old wounds and stir up old divisions. The left would bring in more and more Muslims when religious differences within a country are more dangerous to peace than racial differences. Consider what has happened in Great Britian, what is happening throughout Europe. Americans need to come together as best they can, but the Marxists do not want us to come together. They want to divide us. This is how they accumulate power for themselves. A divided society is a weak society. A people stewed in lies is powerless. Who benefits by this? The communists benefit. The Russians and Chinese benefit.

The philosopher Joseph Pieper offered a solution to the problem of false political ideology by way of three ideas. He said that we must “perceive, as much as possible, all things as they really are.” He said that men are “nurtured, first and foremost, by the truth….” He added that the “natural habitat of truth is found in interpersonal communication. Truth lives in dialogue, in discussion, in conversation – it resides, therefore, in language, in the word.”[iii]

And so, we must take care to see things the way they really are, nurturing ourselves on the truth, discussing these things with each other.

Johnny Anderson’s Interview with Jeff: The Long Rang Strategy

One of my favorite little books is Balthasar Gracian’s Art of Worldly Wisdom as translated by Joseph Jacobs. I carried a pocket edition for years, until the cover almost came off. Two of his gems to come mind: # 180. NEVER GUIDE THE ENEMY TO WHAT HE HAS TO DO, where we read, “The fool never does what the wise judge wise, because he does not follow up with suitable means. He that is discreet follows still less a plan laid out, or even carried out, by another.” Also, # 117. NEVER TALK ABOUT YOURSELF, where Gracian says, “To do so you must either praise yourself, which is vain, or blame yourself, which is weakminded….” Having failed to follow Gracian’s advice in all things, I am pleased to know Johnny Anderson in Germany.

  3. Vance fits the description of the person that presented Peter Thiel with the scheme to take down leftist yellow journalist site Gawker down by bankrolling Hulk Hogan’s defamation case. After the RNC convention finale with the Hulkster, it looks that much more likely. Thiel, a philosophy grad alumnus of Stanfard, has the distinction of having his thesis advised by Catholic philosopher René Girard– Thiel’s paper, “The Straussian Moment” is a précis for the kind of opposition represented by Vance’s selection at Thiel & company’s Silicon Valley apostasy. MMA fight promoter Dana White has related that Mark Zuckerberg was won over to Trump on economic grounds (and training in MMA), despite donating hundreds of millions in what became the infamous ‘fortification’ of 2020– the Unrealized Gains Tax proposal poses to wipe them out completely along with any other Trump like figures from the local to national level with economic independence and a sense of noblesse oblige. As Thiel has remarked, the DotCom Boom sucked up people that at any previous time would have been serving in government, carving out a niche for innovation in the civilian sector rather than develop Uncle Sam’s IPs. The election has become existential for fence sitters in high places, suffice to say– with Vance and Thiel, Musk and less publicly Zuckerberg, the Trump campaign has state level or better media apparatuses like Twitter/X for influence and data, private security (Erik Prince) and critically, surveillance & intelligence with Thiel’s Palantir.

However grim this state of affairs is or becomes, those forces arrayed against the enemy are not trivial. The Bolshevist Brahimina is an even worse pick than Billary was, and they know it (and know we know it and them knowing it), to wax Rumsfeldian a moment– it looks as though the useful idiocy on display with the left bespeaks a real competency crisis borne of premature “Victory Disease”, and that these Dunning-Kruger Communists really don’t appreciate how sloppy they look– and are in all things. It’s hard to find good Dealey Plaza help these days.

    RE: Gracian

Came to him by way of Arthur Schopenhauer. His Maxims are quality and a worthwhile short read.

    1. Thiel does seem proud of the help he rendered Hogan. But I think he needs to get up to speed quicker. China is hovering over an abyss, contemplating war with the USA, frustrated at Russia’s failures. And yes, Gracian is worth reading again and again; though nothing he wrote would make an impression on Kamala or her brain-damaged running mate. They do indeed look sloppy, which places them two rungs below Biden, whose intellectual level was exposed by his more obvious plagiarisms. He stole his words with real care. He obviously took pains to find worthwhile material. Unlike the thoughtless clowns following him in office, he knew how to seem more respectable and intelligent. His real talent was telling people what they wanted to hear, no matter how ridiculous it sounded. Harris, on the other hand, isn’t literate enough to plagiarize, cannot tell a sensible from an insensible script. Who needs a script? She just utters the inanities that pass through her brain disguised as ideas — which she takes to be intelligent. If that woman gets elected, posterity will curse us. Though we might not have any posterity if she wins.

      1. I thought that Joe Biden, even when he had his marbles, was always rather a dim bulb?

        1. A dim bulb who had the sense to plagiarize from smarter people.

      2. He doesn’t deserve that much credit, in my opinion.

        1. Some people I know feel the same.

All such civil wars are avoidable if there is the true recovery of the true justice, but when true justice is lacking and cannot be recovered and only criminal tyrannical abuses of authority and subsequent injustice remain, then to obtain justice, as the last resort, civil war is sometimes necessary, BUT only as the last resort, and in the most practical way of self-defense.

But the question today is – can that be done ? And another even more important question is: Will God help ?

For people to come together they must have the proper arbiter of the truth, but when they come equipped with their own versions of the “truth”, no unity is achieved and there is seldom agreement on the truth possible or, rather to say, the differences of opinion are so far from each other that it is nearly impossible to come to the right result, if the civil war were the only remaining option – because, the initial intent being good, the means to come to it are so contradictory that the victory of justice in the end of the potential civil war is highly unlikely…or to say it clearer – justice is never achieved by adherence to lies and distortions and to half-measures, because half-measures breed compromises on the truth, and if there is no true consent nor proper disclosure what the truth is, true justice is impossible to exist or be achieved then.

History teaches this point very clearly, as only those civil wars were victorious, which overcame this compromise on the truth and justice by strict adherence to the true justice itself, by the grace and Divine help of God.

(This was the case of the last Holy Crusade, which was in fact the Civil War against Russian Communism, in Spain 1936 – 1939 AD, this armed resistance to the communist tyranny was the true self-defense of the existing Catholic social order and the true Catholic religion in then truly Catholic Spain…which today is impossible…although people may naively think otherwise).

But when the communists begin their tyrannical stranglehold over the free country, the resisting ranks better be very sure that they will go through with the armed resistance to such atheistic communist tyranny, otherwise victory of justice is not possible.

Reply to the video with Mr. Loudon:

    1) There is the optimism of hope that the Russian and Chinese communists will be forced by their own unfavorable economic and military circumstances to hold back their overall intent to destroy the existing order and install communist tyranny worldwide, but the atheistic mind of communist fanatics does not think in these kind of terms, but only in the results, and these evil results are thus the guiding principle of all means, including using nuclear and bio-chem warfare, taking them to the absolutely extreme levels never before seen in this history of mankind. (Our Lady of Fatima said – Russia will spread her errors throughout the world…various nations will be annihilated…)…when it comes to communist criminals, they have only just that – criminals fanatical mind which recognizes no moral constraints, only the overall goals of communism fully implemented, no matter how many millions of people are butchered in the process.

    2) The point about the CCP – PLA special ops inside the USA, that of itself signals that even if there is a civil war in the US, the communist commanding force will be both Russian and Chinese military, and not some Antifa communist terrorists or the Democrat communist Party, although the use of US military resources could still be a major factor, at least in some way, them being used by these foreign assets when the US military ranks refuse to participate on the side of the communists if the civil war was to come to pass…

It is a truly evil time, God only knows the outcome at the moment, and He will punish all who don’t serve Him and don’t love Him, by allowing communist tyranny to rule the whole world, as foretold in the Holy Scripture, the time of the Antichrist – 3 and half years of extraordinary evil…

First and foremost, you need to have God on your side, then He is the one providing, otherwise to store food is matter of prudence, but if the individual has to flee the place for safety, then the stored food has to be abandoned, because it is inconceivable to carry year’s supply of food with you when the communist Mafia is approaching your territory, town, city, village etc….

This is not to suggest that people shouldn’t have food supply, but quite the contrary, with the understanding that such time may come that they will have to make that choice and that the only One afterwards Who will or will not supply such means of sustenance, is God Himself…and especially in situations when you are in vicinity of people who are equally selfish and individualistically minded as the overall general human race mentality has developed into.

Because then to expect help from people who have not helped anyone in need before, and who couldn’t care less about anybody else but themselves, is pure fantasy…and God permits such evil to exist to notify to the sinner God’s displeasure of the sins committed and and so on…

I kind of have to agree with Concerned here. There has been discussion recently about Russia and China’s difficulties, but even if China was facing a civil war or collapse, wouldn’t that make them more likely rather than less to execute every option? If they were going to go down anyways, why not fire every missile?

As long as they survive in their bunkers, I don’t think they care about how many of us or their own citizens they kill. They have waited, yes, for the right strategic moment, but if the pendulum peaks, and the maximum window of opportunity is about to pass, and the next several years or decades would be significantly worse for them strategically, would they really wait? I don’t think so. And I don’t even see what they personally have to risk. Civil war? So what? They’ll just mow them all down. Economic collapse? They’ll be fine in their mansions. And if somehow there was a domestic civil uprising that actually threatened the entire regime, that seems MORE of a reason, not less, to simply empty the clip at the United States, fire every nuke, because they would have nothing to lose.

      1. The communist bloc could fire a nuclear barrage at us tomorrow. They could have done so at any time in the past. Why didn’t they?

We need to analyze this question to better understand where we are. I am greatly concerned that Russia and China will unleash a large-scale attack on us this fall. That is not a prediction, by the way. People always accuse me of making predictions. And that is not something I believe in doing. The Russians are faring badly in their war with Ukraine. That is a fact. The Chinese are very disappointed in the Russians. Another fact. Putin and his colleagues have not played a very smart game. The Kremlin has made a lot of mistakes. When I talk with intelligence experts, they tell me that an all-out war does not appear to be a realistic scenario based on what they are seeing. This is not gospel, but I take their analysis under consideration. It is very difficult to launch World War III without a lot of telltale. And there is a degree telltale, by the way. But not all the things we would expect to see are evident. That leaves room for doubt. Are the Chinese ready to follow through now? Can they go with the Russians bogged down in Ukraine. I do not think they can. As soon as Ukraine falls, I think China has a green light. They can start the war, and I suspect this is their intention. What about the infiltration of Chinese soldiers into the United States? What about a civil conflict growing out of a disputed election? That is a more disturbing possibility, with the Chinese working in the background. This is another possibility. What will the future look like? Nobody really knows.

      2. Why didn’t Russia and China fire off all their nukes? Because nukes by themselves can’t win the war. They need boots on the ground to finish us off. Biden and Harris have given their troops a welcome mat, but have they infiltrated enough troops? How about adding the troops they want to land?

They wanted civilian disarmament in the U.S. before they invaded, and they won’t get it.

The reports that I hear from China is that it is the youth in particular who hate the CCP and want it gone. If drafted, how many would be willing to frag their officers? Or cause other sabotage? Therefore, what is the probability that the PLA will institute a general draft for combat forces from among a wider public than from the CCP itself?

I cannot reply to your reply to me, Jeff, so I will simply answer here.

You ask why they have not attacked yet? I believe it is because the pendulum was still swinging in their favor. It slowed significantly after Trump, but then kept going a bit after Biden. And now it seems it may be reaching its peak. China’s economy wasn’t having these difficulties before. It is possible they are nearing the moment of maximum benefit gained from the strategy. And if Trump was elected, the pendulum would violently swing the other way. Years or decades of progress could be lost. I am not nearly an expert to know their chances, it just seems to me they are reaching a peak of sorts, and the odds of success rapidly diminish after some point. I agree that many signs point to the fall / winter for a provocation. The economic data for the United States is also very bad and it seems a recession is about to be officially recognized by the government any day now. They “revised” something like 1 million jobs out of existence and Powell has come out early today, way before his September 17 meeting, to announce rate cuts. I think the economic crash is happening now, as we are entering this dangerous window. And I do not think that is a coincidence.

        1. The point of asking why they have not attacked is to underscore their incapacity to date. We have to watch for further mobilizations and more suspicious moves. The Chinese have clearly ordered mobilizations which they did not fully carry out in 2022. Why? We do not have all the answers, except to say there is something wrong inside their system. What is holding them back? I am not sure. My suggestion, since 2022, is their failure to win in Ukraine is holding them back. Until someone comes up with a better explanation, I am sticking with this one.

Reply to Mr. Perseus – the more above comment:

        Right on target.

There has not been yet time in history of communism that these criminals would have ever truly cared about their own people, and the more they get rid of the excessive “baggage” the more they will be secure in ruling the remaining rest…

As far as the methods of how they get to victory of communism, ANYTHING is allowed in their minds, and they will never forgo that evil doctrine because they know that political power over the whole world, enforced by police and judicial tyranny is the ONLY WAY how communism can and will prevail…

And because they are all atheistic nihilistic criminals, they have no conscience behind their actions, and they will not stop until they are firmly and fully in control…and THEN God will visit them with what they have never ever imagined in their lifetime possible, they will regret the day they were born.

But what one must be concerned is the overall damage achieved by the communists, and the extent of their evil which they plot and will inflict on the world…do NOT believe any of their advances and any suspicious information that comes from their quarters, as these are pathological liars and they can fabricate any data they want.

As far as what the Kremlin KGB Mafia may have promised to their US and EU assets and what “political power positions” they may have agreed to supply, when the Kremlin decides to exterminate their own assets so that they can no longer make any demands from Moscow, they will execute that without a blink of an eye…

They will purge their own ranks and get rid of those whom they no longer need…and there are many such perverted atheistic communist “excessive baggage”…

        1. One should allow that many communists sincerely believe in their cause. We must not imagine that nobody believes in it. What this belief entails is another question, and there must be variations on the theme. Are there any genuinely good people who think WE are evil? What would lead them to sincerely think this?

    ———–
Communist subversion – that’s their main weapon, but yes, it is possible they may bypass that option also.

This is the difficulty to realize how they will do it, but overall one has to be ready for both, as both options are very evil, to resist them and to survive them, God willing.

But in this opinion, they will probably provoke civil war or start their communist revolution in the US, and squeeze the population in the US and EU etc. into compliance, and if that doesn’t work, then Moscow has the nuclear war option already in place…so then yes, they will most likely execute it.

    1. There is Leninist concept of the “correlation of forces,” where they estimate their own strength. To overreach is called “adventurism.” It results in the defeat of revolutionary forces. So they are cautious. They want a sure thing. But there is no sure thing in the end. And their strategic thinking has been in decline, quite obviously, since the 1980s. They have lost many opportunities. They should have won by now. And now they are desperate. The economic situation in China is desperate.

      1. CONCERNED Avatar
        CONCERNED

This reply is not meant as a contradiction of the opinion above, but as an addition – hungry nation, when that nation is run by communist criminals, as China and Russia are, they oftentimes pretend and deceive as to the extent of that situation they themselves claim their countries are in, and so there is the obligation of the true analysis of what the actual situation is, and even when it is true that China has food problem, the CCP is a criminal Mafia which could have easily planned the potential famine from the beginning, to get rid of millions of their own people and bring the others, already somewhat rebellious, into more stricter compliance.

So that is probably not the best guiding principle why they have postponed the planned attack, but that they have no moral and conscientious constraints of executing the nuclear and biological/chemical warfare when they decide, and not necessarily when it will be more convenient for their overall strategy.

They have the West on the run, and so they know the time is ripe, and also they want to take spoils (Ezechiel 38 etc.) and even though they want to be sure it is a decisive and victorious attack, the time is quite different from 1980s, as then the western awareness and resolve to fully resist communist invasions and attacks was much more included in government policies than it is now, because of the false “collapse of communism”, and even though the US government back then was cautious, today the same government is infiltrated by KGB/GRU/CCP assets, and so such danger of possible successful anti-communist resistance from NATO countries (US in particular) is marginal…at the least to say.

So how much food the communists have for their own enslaved population is never the decisive factor in their planning, and they as psychopaths and diabolically possessed atheistic fanatics couldn’t care less about any manufactured famine their own people or any people would have to endure, because that is to them the cost of victory of communism which they are fully willing to sustain – and have done so, in case of Stalin and Mao etc. in the past.

So there is no disagreement with the above from Mr. Nyquist, only that it shouldn’t be relied on too hastily, because the communist criminal mind has no constraints by which it is held in this aspect to any such moral and conscientious rule, the ends justify the means – always.

        1. One should not be paranoid to the extent of convoluting fairly straightforward facts into brilliant deceptions. We do have satellites and sources of hard information not available in past eras. Sadly, I have lost many readers who expected me to attribute superhuman powers to the communists, when they have weaknesses that lead to catastrophic failures. Look at the Ukraine War. Of course, I do not sit comfortably with the “Reagan won the Cold War” crowd, but that does not lead me to subscribe to the theory that every communist blunder is a disguised trap. Strategy is not a subject for knee-jerk analysis. There are many details.

  10. If it comes right down to Civil War, there will be no ideology being espoused by any faction, other than the one that goes ignored. Internet will be down except for 6G from Star Link, used to enforce the defacto government’s narrative. It will be every man for himself. Might makes right. You only own what you can possess, and you only possess that which you can hold. There will be gangs, or tribes if you will. They may have certain beliefs and might become cults, but as far as any widely significant code of conduct, think Mad Max. Personally, I doubt that there will be any civil war in the United States, until after The Rapture. I do expect small, isolated false flags, promoted as if wide spread to shut ins, in order to lend plausible deniability for a police state, which will prove ineffective against an armed citizenry of Americans who protect their homes; foreclosures and evictions, notwithstanding, as people with guns will refuse to leave. There aren’t enough illegal aliens with which to form an significant obedient, Draconian, police force.

      You are joking of course…

Over 10 million illegals in the US and perhaps more, that is quite a force already…and if you have a communist Democrat for a Governor, he or she will be ordered by the Center, to supply such illegals/communist militias, with the National Guard arms, and then they will most likely go on their rampage, murder, sabotage and attack of US military installations…etc. etc. etc.

    2. Such a jumble of nonsense fromn Mr. THE. First, “it comes down to Civil War,” then he says “I doubt there will be any civil war in the United States….” Then it’s “might makes right” and “they have certain beliefs and might become cults.” The Rapture is interjected, but armed citizens will be able to protect their homes. 1. Weapons of mass destruction can kill every blade of grass, and burn up every rifle behind every blade.

      5. Since they want the land for settlement, will they use the type of weapon of mass destruction that can kill every blade of grass and burn up every rifle behind every blade? And do they have enough of them? Or will they use air burst nukes?

By the way, I have read the Bible several times, and have yet to find the Rapture mentioned in it.

Those who have blindly accepted the KGB run fraud called “collapse of communism” and with the years of that being played by the communists for the western consumption, the new generation has accepted it by inheriting that horrible error, and thus gave consent to injustice, because to accept communists as communists and their false promises as valid and true is like saying the devil has “converted” from his evils….which is of course a horrible lie and complete impossibility.

And so they are stuck in that error and don’t know how to analyze it when they see the Russian tank with the “old” Soviet red flag streaming down the Ukrainian countryside and they don’t understand that there was no a fundamental change in the communist ideological strategy nor in their overall end, which is and always has been – worldwide communist dictatorship.

Only that today they have much more thus perverted atheistic communist help in the formerly anti-communist western countries, sadly to say the United States included.

Two former military officers have identified the Deep State. It’s known as the Council on official documents and it runs the country. The members are mainly IGs from the agencies. It was created by Obama.

The members refer to the populace as either useful idiots, useful innocents, or carbon units.

The Council is extra-legal and the IGs need to be returned to their respective agencies.

Four entities can legally investigate and prosecute The Council, better known as CIGIE in D.C.: 1. Trump, as President. 2. Grassley in the Senate. 3. Jim Jordan in the House. 4. SCOTUS. No. 2 won’t happen. No. 3 is unlikely as Jordan is preoccupied with other goals including becoming Speaker.

Biden is going after SCOTUS. Wants to give CIGIE control. That would leave Trump as the only threat to continued Council power.

Mr Concerned’s paranoia is completely understandable. My own beloved Germany finally dropped its mask to hurt Ukraine so bad.

    https://www.politico.eu/article/germany-halt-new-ukraine-military-aid-report-war-russia/

Germany (GDR 2.0) has been the most powerful saboteur for the global communist movement, while American Democrats/Leftists/Corporate elites are second. I always doubt the successes of Ukrainians because their NATO sponsors (compromised communists) never allow them to actually defeat Russian communists. Zhaluny was actually the only one trying for years to stop communist puppets hidden inside Ukraine. His ouster has caused quite a tremendous damage within Ukraine. The Russian communists tactically employ salami strategies, combined with intel support from GDR 2.0 (Germany), to gradually destroy Ukraine systematically in all fronts. Constant bombings of all infrastructures cause Ukrainian population to drop more than half. Mass conscription in Ukraine was negatively propagandized by Russian and their communist media to make Ukrainians not supporting Ukraine’s freedom fighting movements. Their prolonged war is aiming to genocide the population of males without direct bombings into civilian areas because their propaganda is all about a revolution to rescue Ukrainians from “Nazism” or fascism.

Now, GDR 2.0 has stopped pretending. It means that neo-Soviets (Russian communists) are going to get their own Clenched Fist towards Europe very soon.

    1. Oh yes, the paranoia is understandable. The enemy is always in a position to betray us because he has gotten into our institutions. Yet we must not exaggerate the enemy’s strength or cunning. He is not ten feet tall. He uses these tactics because he is small and morally weak. Never make him out to be more capable than a wise man. Never make our cause sound hopeless. The communists rely on two things: (1) force and (2) fraud. We only have to oppose the former and expose the latter. That’s what we do. If we die in the process, we die well. And in the end, if we are faithful, they cannot prevail for long. Everything these communists touch turns to crap.

      1. CONCERNED Avatar
        CONCERNED

        Dear Mr. Nyquist,
history of communism is filled also with appeasers, who took the word of honor of these atheistic criminals and accepted it, and so to point it out is not and never has been paranoia, or else you might as well call Sen. Joseph McCarthy of blessed memory “paranoid”, as the communists tried to paint him that way, and then most likely murdered him anyway.

One thing is analysis, another is the analysis supported by history and experience, and that makes the analysis nowhere near anything paranoid.

When people who said so wake up one day in one of these Siberian Gulags, or somewhere in the communist Venezuela, how would they address their own self-assuring and of course exaggerated content with their own understanding what the Russian communists have or have not achieved so far, realizing too late that these unfortunate compromisers have trusted the communist deception and fabricated half-truths and took them for granted.

To be careful, strictly careful when it comes to estimating how these atheistic monsters will proceed next and what they plot and how it may play out, that is not a paranoia, but only being careful and that from experience and out of necessity, because there are also people who will read this and don’t know enough about this to make their own right conclusion and so being overly optimistic that “somehow” justice against the communists will prevail leads only to relaxation of the protective measures that otherwise such people would have taken, which means they may be the next victims of the communist deception – yes, somewhere in Siberia, bearing only witness to their own blind trust to what they have accepted, instead of being more careful and rather safe than sorry.

And when the analysis is clearly misunderstood and false conclusions are made, including calling it “paranoia”, then who will be the beneficiary of such broadly complacent opinion then ?

Not the victims of communism, that is for certain.

When you deal with state run atheistic communist criminal Mafia and its evil plans, there is absolutely no room for relaxed measures and compromise seeking opinions, and any voice that warns about such deplorable development shouldn’t be branded as paranoid.

        1. Concerned: I agree that we should avoid cutting deals with communist criminals. At the same time, however, we must guard against the impolitic condemnation of potential allies. We must not suppose everything adverse is a communist plot. We should guard against becoming the stereotypical anticommunist, who always plays into the hands of the communist. In America, the Constitution opposes the establishment of religion, so that our political custom is to avoid sectarianism and the dividing of our cause into uncooperative fragments. On this website I discourage sectarian presentations, which often result in religious strife. You have emphasized your denomination with no thought of how unwelcome this might make others feel. The communists love to see Protestants and Catholics argue, and I do not want to give our enemies this gift. There are not enough proper Protestants or Catholics that we can divide our number along theological lines. It follows that I am sometimes embarrassed by sharp notes of intolerant stridency, which may drive away otherwise sympathetic readers. We need the largest possible coalition against communism, with people who are educated to understand the dangers we face. To survive we need allies. Therefore, we must be careful to avoid augmenting communism’s strength by offending natural allies. The communists are not ten feet tall, but we can slice our own side into an angry dwarf. More often than not, it is our thoughtless rhetoric (or bad manners) that has alienated the majority. Why do we give this kind of gift to our enemy? Please explain. If we regard communists as enemies, and we confront them as such, and we learn how to properly identify them, we can defeat them. Why complicate this simple task? Our political problem is how we deal with a vast crowd of disoriented persons of varied backgrounds. Much of life depends on training, competence, and discipline. This is what we need in our rhetoric. The communists are good at talking to liberals while our side often scares liberals with declamations that drive them into the arms of the left. We cannot win a political contest in which we alienate the center. Politics like war is a game of skill and mixed chance, where the more skillful statesmen prevail. This is how the world works. And if we want to preserve civilization or some remnant of it, we must be better students of history, philosophy, and rhetoric. It is good to be a lion, and show strength, but to avoid the traps of communism we must also be foxes. So our approach must be balanced. There are some people who are stumbling blocks of good manners, always on the verge of some stupidity. Their humor always falsifies because they unnecessarily contradict all and everything. As Gracian says, “They put their judgment cap on backwards and thus condemn all.” In paraphrasing Gracian, I merely suggest that we avoid being monsters “in the wide realm of indecorum.” Your impulse may be to turn what I say into some kind of betrayal. It is nothing of the kind. In politics we must extend good will in order to receive the same in return. I hope you understand.

      2. ‘To avoid the traps of communism, we must also be foxes. So our approach must be balanced’–

@JRNyquist: Yes, I very much agree. Thank you for saying this. It seems we occasionally need the wisdom of ‘foxes’–craftiness and subtlety, for example, can come in handy at times. I don’t think there is anything wrong with this, myself.

      3. Or is this the wrong approach?

        1. One must be crafty to anticipate traps and deceptions. Perpetrating deceptions oneself is dangerous. This should only be reserved for use against enemies — never against friends or others.

@Friedrich Eilhart What is missing from the Politico report is that although the Ukraine aid will no longer appear in the official German budget next year, there will be a reallocation. On the one hand, this has helped to defuse the existing budget dispute and at the same time saved the Ampel coalition from collapsing once again. But the fact is that the 50 billion will also flow directly to Ukraine next year through a trick via the EU. In my opinion, given the challenges that Ukraine is facing (it was the USA and its Western helpers who ensured that Ukraine destroyed its nuclear bombs in the 1990s and had to cut back its arms industry in an area that can only be found with a magnifying glass), this is just a drop in the ocean. On the other hand, it is still a positive signal from Germany to President Zelensky.

If Trump is re-elected president, a great deal of indirect aid will flow to Ukraine (Trump knows from his own experience how the economic instruments work) and I am also convinced that the 1990s and 2000s taught Trump a great deal with regard to the Russians. The fact that he correctly assessed China – and, incidentally, Iran and North Korea – during his first presidency leaves a lot of room for maneuver and learning in a new presidency, which he can make the most of – given the right personnel.

@Birgit Naujeck: MR Trump is the only one who can realistically defuse and control situations behind the communists and their frauds. Being fraudulent is the key success for the communists.

@Jeff Nyquist: The communists use FORCE to commit FRAUD. Ukraine War was prolonged to force mass immigration of Ukrainians into Europe/US, brainwash the global conservatives and Ukranians to support “deNazification”, persuade the rest of the world that the West’s capitalism is Satanic as Christianity is communist orthodoxly. The whole war has been gigantic fraud to try deceiving and fooling us. Last time, their fake collapse was the biggest fraud of all times that helped the global communists gain new industrial/economic strength as the West de-industrializes itself and indoctrinate its youth into LGBT/hypersexual craps. This time they are trying to deceive the conservatives. mostly Muslims, on a global scale that their Ukraine War was a holy crusade/jihad to deNazify the “pig” Ukraine – Communist propagandists purposely craft the image of Ukraine as pig to dehumanize Ukrainians and stir disgust from Islamic world against Ukraine.

Jeff, I personally consider Kamala Harris to be a very simple creature who has never been allowed to learn to use her own mind and is therefore unable to intelligently question the phrases in her head. That is why her ‘lies’ seem to me to be more of a kind of uncoordinated projectile, which, however, meets with a fatal lack of knowledge among the population. This, of course, makes it easy for the puppet master behind her to further develop the USA in the spirit of Marxist Leninism. To compare it with Germany: the communist welfare state has programmed its pupils to be grinning, welcoming puppets who function as long as the fake reality corresponds to their infantile imagination.

The German government is literally flooded with these simple creatures. And that will not change here just because there are just three state elections coming up, which will basically send the current government down the drain … it is just a case of changing horses ….

Regarding the excellent discussion of Conversvatives for Ukraine moderated by Trevor, I would just like to note that we all need to build much more understanding and knowledge of pure history to understand certain events (like now the Kursk invasion). Victor, in the discussions and in his articles that I know of, keeps pointing out this huge gap in the existing geopolitical view of how countries and nations – not just citizens – interact with politicians and other strategists. Regarding Victor’s side statement on Trump’s ‘knowledge of history’, I would just like to add a little anecdote as a link here in my comment.

Congressmen Wesley Hunt and Byron Donalds gave an interview in the run-up to the Biden versus Trump duel https://youtu.be/2NmLw31l9UE (and the short excerpt: https://rumble.com/v55526u-is-this-one-of-the-best-trump-stories-of-all-time.html), which contains an ‘anecdote’ about Trump that I personally cannot verify. This kind of diplomacy leaves me with a lot more confidence – than all the kind words of infantile disinformation-laden politicians of the infantile-woke scene.

I will listen to the Jimmy and Johnny interviews this weekend.

    1. Intriguing comments, Birgit. Wesley Hunt and Byron Donalds are interesting. I have been especially impressed with the insights of Donalds. Inflation in the U.S. is traumatizing people here. There is real concern across all groups. Mr. Hunt is right to say “if you don’t do politics, politics will do you.” If we do not correct this, we will be “done.”

  16. Another excellent Conservatives 4 Ukraine discussion. This panel deserves a much larger audience.

Here are some interesting tidbits from an Economist article (subscription required). Western allies were deliberately left in the dark about the Kursk operation because the Ukrainians apparently did not trust them. Given all the intelligence leaks and foot-dragging by the West one can’t blame them. Maybe the lack of Western meddling and advice is one reason why the Kursk offensive is so successful, compared to the much-publicized 2023 southern offensive against entrenched Russian positions. Given Ukraine’s success now, it almost seems in hindsight like they were set up to fail last year.
    https://euromaidanpress.com/2024/08/19/the-economist-western-allies-were-deliberately-left-in-the-dark-about-kursk-incursion-plans/

https://www.kyivpost.com/post/37770 Here is Scholz complaining that Ukraine prepared the Kursk offensive “very secretly and without any feedback.” He can’t be that surprised.

I see reports that as many as 3000 Russian troops on the wrong side of the Seym River are about to be cut off. According to Jake Broe, with Ukrainians pushing over the border from three directions it’s only a matter of time before they control the whole swathe of land up to the river. So far Russia is not letting up on the Donbas offensive and Pokrovsk is still in danger of becoming the next Bakhmut. Are the Russians willing to sacrifice Kursk just to push forward a few more kilometers in Donetsk? Crazy and maybe politically risky for Putin, unless he’s counting on Russia’s friends in the West to step in and quietly sabotage Ukraine. He’s probably not wrong given that even as Russia is pushing in the east, Ukraine’s “friends” still won’t give it permission to use long-range artillery deep inside Russia to stop the advance. It would be great if the drive into Russia could make up for that limitation. I haven’t seen much mention of Crimea, but I would think a big offensive there in the next few months is too much for Ukraine’s stretched forces unless they get the long-range weapons and permission to decisively destroy Russia’s supply routes there. Unfortunately, Ukraine’s survival still depends on the support of the West, and despite Ukrainians’ achievements on the battlefield they can’t do anything about the communist infiltration of the West. I fear that Russia will keep persisting because Moscow is convinced that its ace in the hole, the infiltration and sabotage of the West, will soon enough yield stupendous results.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IZBrJpDDVmw Jake Broe video

    1. Laura: Yes, these are excellent points. Ukraine has to be wary of its allies in the West. And Scholz has been Moscow’s “friend” for a long time. He is so mad at Ukraine being left out of the military plan, it looks like he is taking his toys and going home. No more support for Ukraine. This gives him away. But who sees it? Many of these people give the Ukrainians a little support, then sabotage them by leaking to Russia. This is what has given Putin his confidence. He has the West under his thumb. But, apparently, he cannot fully deploy his Western allies. This is interesting to me and suggestive of trepidation from the communist camp. What is holding them back? Do they sense a backlash coming? I wonder.

@lauraz1986 If you want to learn a little more about tactics and events and the resulting likelihood of future actions, I can recommend the daily reporting on Russia, Iran, weekly on China and occasionally Africa on https://www.understandingwar.org/.

The analysis published by the Hudson Institute regarding the FOIP (https://www.hudson.org/foreign-policy/rise-free-open-indo-pacific-challenge-deterrence-kenneth-weinstein-william-chou), which could contain, if not banish, China’s Silk Road imperialism, weakens the Chinese, which can no longer fill all the gaps left by Russia in its multi-front war. The FOIP concept goes back to Karl Haushofer, by the way. We should also take another look at this strategist, especially in these turbulent times.

Regarding Mr. Scholz: Hubertus Knabe has published important insights into the life of Mr. Scholz (https://hubertus-knabe.de/olaf-scholz-und-der-kreml/ – Jeff has let us glimpse a little of his Kremlin past). He was already taught disinformation tactics and lies as a West German emissary of the Moscow-loyal peace movement in the GDR. He repeatedly appeared in the GDR media in the most positive way. With Cum-Ex and other scandals, he then put on a brain riddled with holes: – I know nothing, I see nothing, I hear nothing… and above all: I can’t do anything! He is a Marxist through and through in the sense that – I stand here and can do nothing else. His predecessor Gerhard Schröder, also an avowed Marxist, as chairman of the Juso – in contrast to the quiet Scholz – shook the fence of the Chancellery in a media-friendly manner and ‘threatened’ to move in. What the Marxist Gerhard Schröder and the Maoist Joschka Fischer set in motion after Helmut Kohl’s orchestrated swan song in 1998, the Marxist Scholz wants to complete.

In my opinion, Scholz is informed about everything that is happening in Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine, but he lacks the means to completely prevent aid. He delays and minimizes where he can. But there are also forces in Germany that are using their weight to help the Ukrainians with all possible means. Formerly Soviet-led organizations such as “Generals for Peace” are boycotting wherever they can, Russian gatekeepers are doing their best… and yet the Ukrainians invaded Kursk.

      1. Birgit: I have heard that certain figures in the German police and military (and some intelligence officials) are still working against Russia; that there is a secret group of people who understand the game. I am doubtful, but who knows what is hidden from view? I would imagine there are business people in this camp as well, and we see them emerging here in the U.S. They are not strong enough to overcome the rest of the Establishment in most areas, but they are openly active in the United States. Perhaps in Germany it is best to keep a low profile. I cannot even verify that a patriotic police and military group exists in Germany, but stories have been passed to me. Do I trust such stories? I watch and make notes. A former KGB expert on Germany who befriended me years ago, and who was upset with the path Moscow was taking, found himself completely baffled by the Germans. “They are idiots,” he would say, “They they think are on top, but Russia is exploiting them.” He was trying to figure out Germany and found himself completely baffled by the clueless attitudes he found there. But then, Russia’s plans in Germany have sometimes been thwarted. Who did this? “Perhaps the British,” he would say. It’s as if there is some kind of secret level of resistance. Invisible. Dangerous. The same kind of speculation surrounds certain American agencies and doings. Thirty-three years ago I discovered testimony regarding a secret U.S. counterintelligence agency that is completely blacked out. Nobody is supposed to know about it. This secret agency was supposedly formed when top leaders realized the CIA was completely dirty and under KGB influence. The strategy was to let the CIA continue to exist, knowing the Russians were placing their people inside it. By creating an agency nobody knew about, that was completely secret, the country could be protected. Friends of mine who work in intelligence do not believe such a thing is possible. There cannot be a such a thing. Again. I watch and take notes, and I wonder.

Thanks for Jimmy! marxism is politics of envy that takes over existing power structures using the canard of fairness and justice–thats all it is.

  18. This is a good time for us to blow the dust off our copies of J. C. Wylie’s book Military Strategy: A General Theory of Power Control, published in 1967.

In war it can be extremely valuable to accurately determine the enemy’s current STRATEGIC INTENT so that appropriate, practical means may be devised (taking account the Battle Space and the Enemy Head of State) to effectively recognize and assess the Pattern of War and to devise ways and means to manipulate the Center of Gravity of War. Therefore specialized, appropriate Pattern Recognition skills are invaluable for the strategist. The strategist wants to disadvantage his adversary and advantage his nation by effectively manipulating the center of gravity of the war thereby controlling the pattern of war.

For example; It is well established that one of the standard plays from Lenin’s Playbook is Chaos and Control. Therefore prudence dictates that control of the Pattern of War (rightly understood) is very desirable.

“The primary aim of the strategist in the conduct of war is some selected degree of control of the enemy for the strategist’s own purpose; this is achieved by control of the pattern of war; and this control of the pattern of war is had by manipulation of the center of gravity of war to the advantage of the strategist and the disadvantage of the opponent.

    https://thenewamerican.com/news/ukraine-launches-drone-attack-on-moscow/

    1. In grand strategy there is a general understanding, especially on the communist side, that knowing the enemy’s objective allows you to thwart him. If you want to succeed, you need to adopt objectives that the enemy has no idea you have chosen. You leverage those objectives in unexpected ways to get what you want. It is easier to deny the enemy’s access to something you know he wants than to get something away from him that you know he is defending. Deception works best when it hides motivations and objectives. If the enemy does not know you want something, and does not know what you are doing, he is unlikely to stop you.

  20. Jimmy seemed to be searching for the word the “Comintern.” The best book on it is Franz Borkenau’s World Communism (1939, pb ed 1962, introduction by Raymond Aron). George Orwell recommends the book in one of his essays. FDR thought he had Stalin’s promise to shut all Comintern activity down after WWII. Ion Mihai Pacepa explains how the Soviets trained Muslim Brotherhood Islamic religious in terror tactics in E bloc training camps in the 50s-70s. The Soviets understood how Islam could serve as rocket fuel for communism. Digital tech is probably what excites communist hopes of global control today.

    1. New tools of control can be very useful for the bad guys.

Thank you. If I had to read one book of Voegelin, what would it be according to you?
Also, just a thought, the biggest sin of communism is to take the place of the will for justice. This dark, shadowy force occupy the terrain of actual human need for justice, it seems to me like a great perversity.

    1. Voegelin’s “New Science of Politics” is probably a good place to start. There are also summaries written by others. Eugene Webb’s “Eric Voegelin: Philosopher of History” is the easiest to follow. At least it was for me. Voegelin may have been the most learned political scientist of the twentieth century. His insight into the way symbols are used to represent reality takes us into his discovery of the misuse of symbols to misrepresent reality, either intentionally or unintentionally. Justice would be a symbol that is now clearly misused by the Left.
