There exists a subterranean world where pathological fantasies disguised as ideas are churned out by crooks and half-educated fanatics for the benefit of the ignorant and superstitious. There are times when this underworld emerges from the depths and suddenly fascinates, captures, and dominates multitudes of usually sane and rational people, who thereupon take leave of their sanity and responsibility.

Once upon a time the communist parties of Europe, under Stalin’s direction, facilitated the circulation of conspiracy theories in the Soviet Union and its satellites. This was intentionally done to feed paranoia and hysteria, blotting out reason. People became demoralized. Many were disoriented. Scapegoating the innocent kept the Communist Party safe. Cohn tells the story of a Russian Orthodox priest who denounced The Protocols of the Elders of Zion from the pulpit after the fall of the Soviet Union. Cohn wrote, “He knew he was risking his life – and so he was: his body was found with the skull smashed in.”[ii]
It is alarming to find that conspiracy theory has become a kind of ideology which continues to gain traction in America and Europe. It fosters a kind of hysteria on the left and the right. The left says that Trump is conspiring at a dictatorship. The right says the “deep state” is conspiring to destroy America (without properly defining what the deep state is). Most think of an elite capitalist conspiracy – of evil bankers, corporations, oil companies, or the nefarious “globalists.” Evil motives are often ascribed to specific individuals, like Donald Trump or Klaus Schwab. Yet the “fascist” or “globalist” structures allegedly supporting these individuals are indistinct. Who exactly is doing all this? Why are they doing it?
Some “experts” claim to have special insights. Professor Barbara F. Walter has argued that the United States is coming dangerously close to a civil war. In a book titled How Civil Wars Start: And How to Stop Them, she says there are identifiable warning signs. In 1994 the U.S. Government created a Political Instability Task Force for predicting what countries might become unstable and fall apart. The Task Force was surprised to find that the two most important factors for predicting a civil war were (1) a bad mix of authoritarianism with liberal democracy; and (2) political party affiliation based on ethnic, religious, or racial identity.
Professor Walter thinks that Donald Trump is following a white supremacist strategy. Blinded by her own leftism, Walter thinks Trump is out to weaken American institutions. She attaches no importance to the illegal mass importation of nonwhites into a majority white country. Her assumption is that anyone who objects is a deplorable. It does not occur to this “expert” on civil war that taxpayers must foot the bill for millions of illegals pouring in; that crime is accelerating; that cities are going broke; that unskilled American workers will receive lower wages because of the influx of unskilled illegals; that this mixing of illegals and citizens is itself an occasion for civil war – where the native feels that he is losing his country to an alien invasion. Professor Walter evidently thinks that anyone who objects to ten million illegals pouring over the border is a white supremacist. In the mind of this professorial Mimsy, Americans are obligated to open their country to all comers. And America’s ruling Democratic elite agrees with Professor Walter. Why should Americans have a nice country, after all? Let’s ruin the country by bringing in an indigent horde from abroad and condemn the native population as racist. (Oh yes, that will shut them up, since laws against “racism” will be enforced.)
Professor Walter, of course, is a classic paranoid who sees Nazis under the bed. MAGA is white supremacist. Trump is like Hitler. And America is threatened with civil war. It’s a very bad situation, to be sure. Professor Walter also worries about the veterans who fought in Iraq and Afghanistan. We have had more than twenty years of returning soldiers, she says. And this “creates a ready-made subset of the population that you can recruit from.”[iii] Alas, our veterans are ready to join the ranks of Trump’s insurgent army. And yet, it is the left that has overthrown the law of the land by opening the border to millions of illegal aliens. By what right do they suspend the laws regulating immigration? And then, to say that Trump wants to overthrow the rule of law! How is this honest?
A Bungled Assassination
Thomas Crooks used a rifle to shoot Donald Trump in the ear. He was aiming for Trump’s head, but he missed. Crooks fired eight shots that left one bystander dead and two seriously wounded. We know little about the shooter, except that he gave money to the Progressive Turnout Project. In other words, the would-be assassin (Thomas Crooks) was a political supporter of the Democratic Party. Contrary to Professor Walter’s expectation, Crooks was not a soldier who had returned from fighting in Iraq or Afghanistan. He was a twenty-year-old college student with an associate degree in engineering science from the Community College of Allegheny. According to the BBC, Crooks graduated “with high honours.”[iv]
I must argue, of course, that Thomas Crooks was not a normal person. Instead of suffering from PTSD after fighting abroad, he was apparently suffering from DEI after being indoctrinated at home. The violent threat, in this instance, was not coming from MAGA. It was coming from a university-trained supporter of the Progressive Turnout Project.
Since Crooks spent most of his life in school, being educated by people like Professor Walter, it is fitting I should comment further on the mentality that Walter represents. As noted earlier, Professor Walter is a paranoid hysteric who thinks white supremacists are running the Republican Party. This is exactly the kind of hysteria, the kind of exaggeration, that starts civil wars. Without realizing it, Professor Walter is a leftwing mirror image of those who predicate themselves on The Turner Diaries. Instead of being a racial bigot, Professor Walter is an ideological bigot, incapable of being fair to conservatives.
What Professor Walter has done to Trump and his followers is what The Protocols of the Elders of Zion did to the Jews. She has created her own blood libel. The MAGA voter is already, in her mind, a terrorist and an assassin ready to start a civil war. Here is an elegant paranoia, with academic credentials. And it is her paranoia that makes Professor Walter dangerous. Why is paranoia dangerous? Because twenty percent of all homicides in America are committed by paranoids. As Dr. Phillip J. Resnick noted, “A crescendo of paranoid fear sharply increases the likelihood that a person will kill his (her) misperceived persecutor. Persecutory delusions are more likely to lead to homicide than any other psychiatric symptom.” According to Resnick the most common paranoid motive for murder is “the misperceived need to defend oneself.”[v]
In this context, we are very lucky that the attempt on Trump’s life failed, since a successful assassination might have ignited a wave of paranoid hysteria on the right. Admittedly, people on the right have suffered from real persecution from elite institutions, especially in the case of January 6. Consequently, there is a rightwing tendency to interpret the assassination attempt on Trump as a “deep state” conspiracy. Adding to this reciprocal rightwing paranoia, Americans have been conditioned, since 1963, to scoff at the idea that a “lone gunman” would attack a president or a presidential candidate. Therefore, some have suggested Thomas Crooks was a victim of MK-Ultra mind control. Others have alleged there was “a second shooter.” This mirrors Democratic paranoia regarding the assassinations of JFK and RFK. What stuck in the craw of many Democrats was the fact that Lee Harvey Oswald and Sirhan Sirhan were communists. This is something the leftist admirers of the Kennedy’s could never accept. Therefore, elaborate conspiracy theories exonerating the real assassins were readily accepted (not because they were plausible, but because they were psychologically satisfying).
Psychologically, many people cannot accept the idea that presidents or presidential candidates can be gunned down by unbalanced assailants. The thought that a lunatic can take the life of an important leader is painful. It is less painful to imagine a meticulously planned assassination conspiracy. A great man should not be the victim of an inferior person. And yet, this is what has happened in history – again and again.
According to Alex Jones, who has infected millions with his grotesquely paranoid worldview, Trump is the target of an elaborate conspiracy that will stop at nothing. Jones says the next assassination attempt on Trump will employ a nuclear device. “I’m sitting here believing we’re about to have a nuclear war,” Jones told comedian Tim Dillon. “They’ve already tried to kill Trump, they’re going to do it again and so I feel guilty literally talking to you and saying we’re about to see the end of civilization.” Jones went on to say, “I’m literally having nightmares every night. I’m literally preparing to die and sitting there watching everybody going and playing golf and watching Netflix thinking it’s all a f–king joke.”[vi]
According to Jones, “They’re going to power-outage us, they’re going to do a cyberattack, they’re going to kill Trump, and I’ll just say that. They are going to kill Trump. I think he’s dead.”[vii] Here is a hysteria so cowardly as to make an old woman blush. Jones needs a dirty sock stuffed into his foul mouth. American audiences have not heard such a crybaby since the execrable Dr. Smith last bemoaned his fate on that old television series, Lost in Space. His staple line was, “Oh the pain, the pain of it all!”
The deep state is not going to assassinate Trump with a nuke. And there is no evidence that anyone hired Thomas Crooks. Most assassinations or assassination attempts are carried out by screwballs. Ten shooters have taken aim at presidents or presidential candidates during the past 200 years. What follows is eight of the ten cases where no conspiracy is indicated:
CASE 1: President James A. Garfield was fatally shot by Charles J. Guiteau on 30 June 1882. Guiteau was a delusional former member of a communistic cult[viii] who had failed as a lawyer and was financially ruined by the many people he cheated as a dishonest bill collector. In 1880, Guiteau believed he was responsible for James A. Garfield’s election victory (which he had nothing to do with). He expected Garfield to reward him. When he was denied an ambassadorship, Guiteau got a revolver and shot Garfield at 9:30 am as he waited to board a train at the Baltimore and Potomac Railroad Station in Washington, D.C.
CASE 2: President William McKinley was fatally shot and wounded by Leon Czolgosz, an anarchist obsessed with social inequality. In 1898 Czolgosz suffered a “nervous breakdown,” returned to the family farm where he began reading anarchist literature. On 6 September 1901 President McKinley was having a “meet and greet” at the Pan-American Exposition where Czolgosz got into the receiving line. When it was his turn to shake the president’s hand he put two bullets into McKinley.
CASE 3: Teddy Roosevelt was shot on 14 October 1912 while campaigning for the presidency. He was shot in Milwaukee by former saloonkeeper John Schrank. Schrank claimed that McKinley’s ghost had told him Roosevelt was his murderer and therefore needed to be stopped. The court established that Schrank was insane and he was committed to the Central State Hospital for the Criminally Insane, where he remained until his death in 1943.
CASE 4: On 15 February 1933 President-elect Franklin Roosevelt was shot at by Giuseppe “Joe” Zangara after a speech in Miami. Zangara was an Italian immigrant and unemployed bricklayer. Zangara later said he wanted to kill Roosevelt because he “represented capitalism.” Psychiatrists who later examined Zangara said he had “a psychopathic personality.” The Chicago Tribune called him “a mental defective” and “a maniac.”
CASE 5: On 15 May 1972 Arthur Bremer shot presidential candidate George Wallace. Bremer had no friends in high school, being shunned and ostracized by his peers. When working as a busboy at the Milwaukee Athletic Club he was demoted to kitchen work for talking to himself and marching in tune with the music played in the dining room. He stalked President Nixon, contemplated becoming a mass shooter, and was diagnosed with schizoid personality disorder and paranoia.
CASE 6: On 5 September 1975, Lynette “Squeaky” Fromme, a member of the Manson Family, attempted to assassinate President Gerald Ford in Sacramento. Fromme attempted to fire a M1911 pistol at close range, but she forgot to chamber a round before pulling the trigger. Fromme believed that smog was about to destroy the California redwoods and shooting Ford would save the trees.
CASE 7: On 22 September 1975, Sara Jane Moore attempted to assassinate President Gerald Ford with a .38 Special in San Francisco. Moore was divorced five times, was obsessed with Patty Hearst, and worked as an FBI informant. Moore was later described by President Ford as “off her mind.”
CASE 8: On 30 March 1981 John Hinckley, Jr., shot President Ronald Reagan to impress actress Jodie Foster – an obsession he developed after seeing the 1976 film Taxi Driver. Hinckley was found not guilty by reason of insanity on 21 June 1981.
Hysterics like Alex Jones will have nothing to do with this history. A screwball takes a shot at a presidential candidate, and a screwball weaves a conspiracy theory into the event. The crackpot theorist airbrushes out the crackpot shooter. People like Jones never consider the Law of Unintended Consequences because paranoia has no use for such a law. If something bad happens, somebody willed it. A paranoid never stops to think that good motives can cause bad outcomes. At the same time, bad motives can lead to good outcomes. Consider, for a moment, the role of greed in Adam Smith’s “invisible hand,” where businessmen provide unintended benefits to people when they pursue their own selfish interests. Smith suggested that a man, acting in the market, seeking only his own gain, is “led by an invisible hand to promote an end which was no part of his intention.”[ix] In other words, outcomes are not always governed by intentions.
In 1936, sociologist Robert K. Merton wrote an influential article titled “The Unanticipated Consequences of Purposive Social Action.” Merton outlined five kinds of unintended consequence: (1) unintended outcomes from ignorance; (2) unintended outcomes from bungling; (3) unintended outcomes from an “imperious immediacy of interest” in which negative consequences are not considered; (4) unintended outcomes from values that destroy themselves (e.g., as when frugality leads to wealth and an end to frugality); and (5) outcomes due to self-defeating predictions.
In the case of Thomas Crooks, we have someone who inadvertently helped the person he was trying to assassinate. By bungling the assassination, by grazing Donald Trump with that first bullet, Crooks strengthened Trump. What kind of conspiracy strengthens its enemies? One can only say: “Help yourselves, bunglers. Go to!”
In my view, the only significant conspiracy of the last hundred years has been that of the communist movement. This movement’s tentacles include front groups, agents of influence, and foreign-based intelligence networks. More than four decades ago I attended a communist meeting where the speaker talked of “taking over the Democratic Party through its left wing and electing a stealth communist president.” Surely, the anti-American trajectory of the Democratic Party can only be explained by the presence of communist infiltrators in its top ranks. Would these infiltrators have engaged someone like Thomas Crooks to assassinate Donald Trump? I do not think so, since persons of this type are notoriously cautious. Even now, the party snakes have slithered into the dark as if to concentrate on internal problems, like their senile party leader. How odd, indeed, that Biden would disappear four days after the unsuccessful attempt on Trump’s life, reportedly contracting Covid-19 only to bow out of the race one month before the Democratic Convention.
According to the Daily Mail, There are rumors that Biden is seriously ill. President Biden posted his decision to withdraw from the race on X instead of making a speech or holding a press conference. Two days later, no explanation has been given by President Biden. The anti-Biden leftist, Glenn Greenwald wrote, “There’s a soft civil war happening in the deep state….”
Meanwhile, Vice President Harris has announced her candidacy and is gathering delegates. Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer has also been quietly organizing her bid for the Democratic nomination. Smart Democrats know the party is vulnerable in the wake Trump’s near brush with death because Democratic politicians have been likening Trump to Hitler. They sense a shift in the public mood. People may not want to hear that kind of rhetoric. A Politico.com piece, written seven months ago, reported, “In most situations, comparing a political opponent to Adolf Hitler might seem like an extraordinary step. For Joe Biden’s campaign, it has become part of the routine of running against Donald Trump.”[x]
The Democrats are vulnerable on another score. According to Fox News, 1 in 3 Democrats believe Trump faked the assassination attempt.[xi] This shows that the rhetoric against Trump has created mass hysteria on the Democratic left. Yet, 2 in 3 Democrats do not share this view. One may ask what this portends? The anti-Trump hysterics, at this point, must be very repulsive indeed to the party’s majority. Can the Democrats win voters by likening Trump to Hitler after someone tried to kill Trump with a rifle? Or will this overblown rhetoric finally make the voters queasy with disgust?
The Biden campaign claims that Donald Trump has been “running for president on the promise to rule as a dictator and threaten American democracy.”[xii] Did Thomas Crooks fire eight rounds at Donald Trump because he sincerely believed Trump was planning to be a dictator? Was Thomas Crooks a paranoid hysteric who heard voices telling him to do bad things? The likelihood of civil war, of course, may depend on a related question: Do you hear the voices too?

Mr Nyquist, what do you think about the Chevron Deference being overturned and absolute immunity of Presidents/ex-Presidents by the Supreme Court?
I have a feeling that these Supreme Court decisions are much more damaging than if Trump was successfully assassinated. The US court systems are long infiltrated by the communists heavily. Now, all decisions will not be in the hands of agencies who have expertise but the decisions will be bungled by court battles. This could severely hammer our government functions as foreign companies under Communists can do whatever they want as long as they pay right bribes for the judges and juries. I have seen it playing in Europe for years! Chinese companies win massive contracts against government’s sanctions through court systems, and now France is a Chinese puppet for a reason. CIA, FBI and other intelligence agencies could be affected if the leftists and communists pulled WikiLeaks 2.0 then successfully suing intelligence agencies at the courts, which we could see the collapse of our intelligence systems. A hypothetical nightmare!
Absolute immunity for Presidents could represent chaos as well because God forbid if Clinton 2.0 (family is long known as a communist agent) comes to office. Clinton 2.0 (hypothetical President with communist leanings) would assassinate any anti-communist in the West or leak intelligence for their Chinese-Russian communist friends to eliminate revealed communists. Clinton 2.0 will get away with it!!!
Last but not least, we have confirmation that our Supreme Court’s Justice Clarence Thomas privately visit Russia on secret missions. This is as bad as Clinton and Obama love listening to Putin’s comradely lectures!!!

Hi Jeff… with all of the many security lapses around Trump’s attempted assassination, does it not seem credible that bad actors on the Left in our government attempted to engineer an assassination? Even if the shooter was on his own, it would seem that if they were doing their job they would have stopped him; thus, it makes one feel that they wanted him to succeed and knew in advance that he would be there.

Are the discussions with these young, overly self-assured, yet half-baked fellows ridiculously claiming to “represent” France and Germany really of any use to anybody? If Mr. Nyquist and Mr. Loudon did podcast conversations just among each other instead, barring all the nonsensical distractions, I’m sure the result would be a hundred times more essential.
I’m french, I’ve known Jean robin for 20 years, and I can assure you him being a «French figure of anti-communism» is the worst thing that could happen to anti-communism in France. There are many compilations of this guy lies, manipulation, instability and silliness on youtube. He is (rightfully) nationally despised here.

He’s part of Alain Soral’s network (the number one Dugin’s ideological soldier in France)

Denis: Robin was not the person who put me in touch with Giorgio. It was someone in Switzerland. I read Giorgio’s book and realized he was not, obviously, going to like my views. But my commitment is to talk with anyone who will listen. And Giorgio was kind enough to listen. In this game we are obliged to engage with many people, even those who belong to a completely different universe of ideas. It is true that a foolish friend can sink you faster than a clever enemy. I only readers people will understand, that when you are trying to reach out to other nationalities, that all publicity is good publicity.
There must have been at least 3 or 4 videos of Jean Robin interviewing (only) Jeff Nyquist, or vice versa. Never, not once, have I noticed any ‘silliness’ on his part. Rather, I enjoyed the talks (as I used to do the ones with Cliff Kincaid and Allan dos Santos). He himself has interesting things to say but thankfully he lets his guest do the talking. To be honest, I know very little about him, but I believe he’s a Calvinist. Could that have anything to do with being despised?
Yes, he is a Calvinist.
Robin’s professed Calvinism is yet another posture, that he uses intensively to divide and confuse (the last conference is a clear example). Not long ago he claimed to be Jewish, and used it for the same purpose. Before that he was a gaulist. He takes a posture to get close to certain people he judges profitable, then his lunacy makes him burn the bridges in a dirty way, so he picks another posture, flatter some other people, etc, in an unending sociopathic cycle.
I’m not claiming he’s a mole, and I’m aware he translated Golitsyn in French. But if «character is fate», then he’s someone you want to stay away from. He’s despised for the content of his character, and because he’s a pathological liar. Not because of mean French catholics (who are a demoralised minority anyway)

In what way? What’s “the standard”? I found the argument useful, because it forced everyone to address something they perhaps didn’t want to admit or discuss (i.e. Trump saying all sorts of contradictory things and surrounding himself with people who have contradictory motives). It reminded us that it’s a “devil you know” situation.
Trevor had even expressed his concerns about Republicans in the previous installment, if I recall correctly, and said something like “maybe I’m just ignoring this problem, but…”. Some forced introspection isn’t necessarily bad, since all four men are ultimately opposed to communism. I’m sure someone will accuse Jean or Alex of being a plant or whatever, but there are some useful or even funny soundbites, at the least.
Does this critique mean Trump isn’t the most viable option and he shouldn’t get our votes? No. But it’s important to remind ourselves who we’re dealing with.
I definitely do not think we have a “plant” in our midst, unless it is a houseplant off camera.

Regarding “plants”, I was referring to the Older Comments page of “Right and Left in the Crisis of Modernity” from July 10. The word itself wasn’t used, but some comments put the idea forth somewhat.
Most of the comments critical of Herr Benesch were thorough and well-written, but I have seen others criticize Alex on other platforms with much worse language.
Your readers’ criticisms were well-founded, though. I wonder if some of the contentions are more because Alex missed details he thought were understood, such as dates.
I noticed he messed up some timelines and glossed over some details where he could have been clearer. Phrases like “after the Baku intervention”, “by the 1921 Anglo-Soviet trade agreement”, etc. help frame the evolution of British attitudes according to his viewpoint, with improved clarity. It wasn’t that Britain backstabbed its Russian ally in WW1 itself so much, and the framing could be explained differently.
We were able to grasp what he was trying to say (agree or not) only by filling in what gaps he left (or correcting a mistake).
I think he was just assuming his audience knew the general timeline (which they did) and he would be filling in gaps like in other videos.
Sadly, the occasional lack of clarity (or outright mistakes) might be why some questioned his motives or integrity at times. For instance, there was a comment contrasting Alex’s “Britain controlled its own ‘Enlightenment’ to avoid the bloodshed of the French Revolution” view with some bloody episodes in England’s history. Perhaps it would be better if he said that Britain had an interest in fostering a peaceful Enlightenment with some freedoms, encouraging discussion rather than its own history of bloody wars.
I will say that some of Alex’s books could use serious re-formatting, but that doesn’t reflect on his other motives or whatnot.

TheGuy: You seem to have followed Alex’s career rather closely. You mention some interesting episodes. Undoubtedly, the struggle for philosophic and intellectual clarity is not easy, and some allowances should be made.
There are so many thinkers, writers, philosophers, historians. Finding the good ones, the ones who make all the difference, requires time and the rethinking of earlier positions. But who has discernment these days? Who has the time to pause and think things over? We are in such a hurry. For me the university was disappointing, especially graduate school. Why did they make such a fuss over Karl Marx? How had they fallen, head-over-heels for socialism as a faith? “Oh no,” they would say. “We have no faith.” I beg your pardon, I would reply. I thought you BELIEVED in it! And they did believe in it (despite their pretenses at objectivity). Why were so many of my university colleagues fascinated by Marx and Lenin, when Max Weber and Vilfredo Pareto were so much more interesting — and more realistic? What is really unforgivable, is that socialism and communism are BORING when not TEDIOUS. Why poison ourselves with something as banal as “people’s histories”?
When you have seen the socialists and communists up close, when you have seen them in their cups, and you have not lost your soul, you cannot be on their team. But then, when you go over to the so-called anticommunists, and opponents of socialism, you realize that they are also deluded. As Sun Tzu said, when you do not know your enemy, and you do not know yourself, you cannot win one in a hundred battles. And that describes most of our conservatives and right-wingers today.
The opponents of socialism/communism have disintegrated into three categories: traditionalists, Libertarians and conspiracy theorists (which overlap). Each represents a kind of bubble made up of a “second reality” which bears only partial contact with real reality. In terms of the Birchers, I could never understand the fuss they made over Carroll Quigley and his “Tragedy and Hope.” What exactly is the insight? Oh yes, there is an elite. Is this supposed to be some kind of revelation or scandal? All advanced societies have an elite. What of it? And then, people are shocked to discover that elites have strategies and plans (that largely fail). Only now, it is fashionable to say that the elite plan is to pauperize the masses (which is something Karl Marx also alleged).
There are larger processes at work here, and spiritual forces, and laziness, and mistaken notions, and the communist movement, and the KGB (of course). The thing to keep in mind, is that conspiracies do not usually work. We learn this when we read Tacitus and Thucydides. It’s all there. But most commentators today, on the right and left, are so obsessed with power, with getting hold of the ship of state, they fail to see how difficult it is to sail this ship. And power is such a slippery thing. Can anyone ever hold onto it? Or is that holding-on an illusion?
Our opinion-leaders seem empty to me. Or is this just a delusion? Tell me I am wrong. Tell me these people aren’t shallow — that most of our political people today are not obsessing over trivia.
For being so grandiose, their dreams are awfully small. And they do not seem to know about hubris and nemesis. Does the figure of Oedipus at Colonus move them to tears? No. Their emotions are as shallow as their thinking. The gift of Oedipus cannot move them; for they have missed the THING ITSELF. After all, what kind of nourishment is there in a road apple dropped by a conspiracy theorist? It is curse enough to see envy fueling social science, but to see it transformed into historiography! This is hard to bear.
Where is that noble spirit, that heroic spirit, that is now aped by actors who only PLAY the part? Trump seems the best we can arrive at. He is not an ordinary actor, but an actor from reality TV. Does that make him authentic? Or is he the product of advertising? Is he a human being who woke up one day — not as an insect, like the salesman Gregor Samsa — but as a political advertisement? Or is there something authentic in Trump?
I rush through all these questions, hoping that my interlocutors will offer some insights of their own. And sometimes they offer amazing insights. Sometimes great comments appear here (even though I have to delete thirty or forty posts from someone who uses an indefinite article for a name). The massive work it takes to know the smallest thing can sometimes save you.

I can appreciate your opinion on this as you are so very well read and informed on all these matters. But, from an average American perspective, I found the dialogue to be very helpful. It is always a relief and pleasure to see people have robust disagreement/debate but also remain respectful and honoring of each other. It’s such a rare thing now these days. I also appreciated hearing the reasoning JRN and TL do to explain their perspective. That, too, is educational for many. Also, JRN does seem to have many international/European readers, and they are part of the whole of the West that communist axis is attacking. It seems wise and important to bring people from across the pond into dialogue and grow together in understanding.

There is a certain value in many people getting together to affirm an idea; it makes it more palatable for others and easier for them to subscribe to it. Along the lines of ‘just because you are paranoid doesn’t mean someone isn’t out to get you’, consider the acoustics analysis of the shots fired at President Trump. I think it is important to have a real analysis with real data (most of which I will never have access to), and let the chips fall where they may.
To me it really does sound like one shooter fired 3 well cadenced shots (no echoes), another shooter fired 5 very fast shots that sound like a different gun/bullets (with echoes off buildings), then the counter sniper shot:

I agree with almost everything you say Jeff. And I do not see conspiracies behind every action. But something about this crazy person getting so close to the president, in such a perfect firing position, after having been seen by many, including the police and the counter-sniper teams, is just not right. While my mind is still open to other possibilities, it would certainly seem plausible that Crooks had assistance of some kind.
In the law we say that intent can be shown by showing that the result of an intended action is the natural and reasonably foreseeable outcome of the intended action. For example, if I swing a baseball bat intending to hit someone’s arm, and I break that person’s arm, then, legally speaking, I have intended to break that person’s arm, because that is the natural and reasonably foreseeable consequence of hitting someone in the arm with a baseball bat. It is legally irrelevant if I protest that “I just meant to hit them in the arm with a baseball bat. I did NOT intend to break their arm.”
So, in the case of this assassination attempt, the intended actions included deciding to leave such a shooting position unmanned and remaining stationary, failing to take action to mitigate the threat even after seeing the shooter crawling into position with a rifle and glassing the area with a rifle scope and a range finder (there may be other actions which will come out, but I think these actions have been pretty well established). I believe the natural consequence of these actions is that the guy who is crawling into a shooting position with the rifle and the range finder will take a shot at President Trump. So, it sort of seems like one could argue that the counter-sniper teams and the police and whoever else was in a position to guard the rooftops, and eliminate the threat, but did not do so, intended the result (an assassination attempt). I think it’s sort of irrelevant to say “We saw him taking aim, but we did NOT intend for him to shoot…” That sort of thing …
I know it’s early in the process and other actions or explanations may surface, and I remain open to them, but … hmmm … this is very strange …

In that leaked conversation between Trump and Kennedy, Trump was angling for Kennedy’s support. He spoke against the vaccines, and seemed to offer Kennedy a place in his administration. I doubt Kennedy will throw his support to Trump. It’s interesting that Trump reached out to a rival, which shows Trump is looking at every angle and searching for any and every advantage.

One clenched fist is not unfolding as planned. Jennifer Zeng has reported on an alleged secret speech of President Xi which announces the coming of civil war to China. In this speech Xi laments the fact that Russia is much weaker than previously supposed. Despite the difficulties in Ukraine, however, Xi seems to favor war. China may be too weak to prevail without a strong Russia; but if nuclear weapons are used, all bets are off. There is also the question of Chinese troops infiltrating our southern border. If war is coming soon, the election may not matter. I sincerely hope this alleged secret speech is an invention.

David Kung: Thank you for weighing in. Your comment is very important, as I agree with your assessment of Falun Gong. I have heard these ridiculous Falun Gong stories myself, from Falun Gong practitioners; and, as you suggest, it is exactly like Operation Trust. I was once told by a Falun Gong practitioner not to worry about Chinese military preparations because the CCP is secretly under the control of Falun Gong practitioners. This kind of belief gives the whole movement away. Furthermore, the founder of Falun Gong appears to be a CCP agent; for he was allowed, by Chinese authorities, to change his birthdate to that of a Buddhist saint. Why would they do him such a favor? The Chinese diaspora is full of groups that are used to channel disinformation. This is obvious to anyone who spends time talking to Chinese immigrants and defectors. There are characters in various Chinese groups who have obviously fallen under the control of the Ministry of State Security. They try to flatter you, and get close to you; but their fear is obvious, coming out in the form of nervous talkativeness. In most cases they are easy to spot; and very careless in their approach when compared to dishonest Russian nationals. In my discussions with Chinese people, I get the sense of which ones are passionate enemies of the CCP and which ones are pretenders. My sad understanding, David, is that the Chinese diaspora is loaded with Chinese agents. It is dismaying how many are working for China and how easily Americans believe in them. Americans are too trusting. Nevertheless, I did pay attention when Jennifer Z mentioned this unconfirmed speech by President Xi. This speech is something I have been expecting; and so, it may be the real thing, or it may not. The fact that such a speech is being reported is an event of great importance, whether or not we want to credit it; for it indicates a kind of watershed, one way or the other. If the speech is real or concocted, it means a decision has been made. What is perfectly obvious is that China plans on future nuclear strikes. This is something you learn only from reading Chinese and Russian strategic literature. The lies and truths told in this literature follow an exacting logic. The book by the two colonels, on “Unrestricted Warfare” is a case in point. This book is part truth, part disinformation. The disinformation is a bit overdone, where they denounce the utility of nuclear weapons. Only a Westerner, unfamiliar with the communist approach to nuclear war, can be fooled. Professional soldiers, in Russia and China, know that nuclear weapons are the best weapons of all. But this is something they have carefully hidden behind myths that we in the West have been fed. Strategically, the CCP leaders are not keen on invading Taiwan. They did not build long range amphibious transports because they want Taiwan. If you read between the lines, it is perfectly obvious that China intends to attack the U.S. directly. How exactly this works, is unclear. The late Col. Stanislav Lunev, a Russian GRU defector, told me that the plan of invasion against America would be based on the German infiltration-invasion of Norway in 1940. This is why Mr. Wang of Lude Media strikes me as credible. He has described aspects of this strategy. Of course, one must be cautious regarding all Chinese sources; and that is why I used the word “alleged” when forwarding certain information. What intrigues me about Mr. Wang and Dr. Li Meng Yan, is that they show a better understanding of the Chinese leaders — an understanding that normally would not attach to a disinformation agent.
Once the first shots have been fired, all bets are off. There’s no way to predict the final outcome. The first shots have been fired, in Ukraine, Gaza, where next?
A cornered beast is the most dangerous. The CCP is increasingly cornered. Will they lash out as an act of desperation?
Even if that alleged speech is false, China is close to civil war. The CCP has made life there unbearable. The people are losing their fear of the government. Many are so hopeless that they don’t fear death. There are even cracks in the Party Loyal Army (PLA). The CCP either needs to produce something substantial to regain the loyalty of the people, or suffer regime change with Chinese characteristics (which historically has not been pleasant to the old regime).
One major way to regain the support of the people is to open vast new lands for Chinese settlement, rich agricultural lands. The people will rejoice when the invasion is started. The initial victories will buoy their spirits. But if their invasion is defeated, then all hell will break loose. Will China even survive as a unified nation?
Will they use nukes? Of course. Do they have any hope of winning without nukes? Isn’t that the only weapons where they have superiority to us? Especially if they use a sneak surprise attack as their opening salvo? Is there any reason for them not to use nukes? Isn’t the only reason they haven’t already used nukes is that they know a premature use of nukes will invite a response before they are ready?

A few years ago, I talked to a wealthy elder from Taiwan who disclosed to us a certain truth. Mao Zedong allowed Chiang’s ROC to flee to Taiwan because the PRC didn’t want to pay bonds and other loans to international creditors which could be trillions in dollars in interests today. Qing dynasty to Republican China has borrowed massive amount of money for many infrastructure projects and wars. Maoist China was always bad at finance and hated the West, so they reneged on the debts. As long as Taiwan exists, China would not have to pay back the debts because it’s in the grey ambiguity on who is actually inheriting the debt. Republican China or Qing China? Neither which the CCP fully acknowledged. This elder, who disclosed the truth to me, belonged to the wealthy family of landlords that fled China shortly after Civil War ended. He was quite pro-China as he advocated Taiwan remains a client state to China instead of being a full province, so China would not repay international creditors. This narrative really fits on what Lude Wang was saying as China seeks an internal coup in Taiwan instead of a full annexation.
I also checked that China’s debt to US could be in trillion dollars due to Qing’s bonds. This Taiwanese elder’s words might have merits.

David: Yes, China owes a tremendous debt to the U.S. in gold, from over 100 years ago. At 4 percent interest (if memory serves). This is now in the trillions as you say. This debt has not been forgiven by the U.S., although the U.K. did forgive a similar debt (again, going from memory).

The Qing debt is merely a portion towards bonds, while we haven’t accounted towards private debts and institutional debts that are outside of bonds and treasury assets. 1.6 trillion dollars are tied to Qing bonds, and we haven’t even known about Republican China’s bonds yet! Most of pre-communist China’s debts are likely owed towards private interests and corporations.
His words now make all sense on why China actually did their first deception operation before the USSR’s false collapse. If Mao Zedong has taken over Taiwan, then he would not have the strategic ambiguities to not take responsibilities over those debts. That’s why it makes sense on why China never pursued the violent annexation of Taiwan through building amphibious landing vehicles! China expects the Taiwanese traitors maintaining the island as a client state’s country for PLA naval bases.
The US and West would love China taking over Taiwan because our loans will be finally getting paid.

I am thinking of Timothy McVeigh. I recommend the book by Jayna Davis, an Oklahoma journalist, The Third Terrorist. It presents, to my mind, an extremely strong case that there were Middle Eastern participants in the Oklahoma City bombing. Although an excellent marksman, McVeigh had zero experience with explosives. And from what I’ve read the bomb was rather large and fairly sophisticated. Not to mention interviews with local Oklahomans, who observed McVeigh meeting with Middle Eastern individuals. As with Laurie Mylroie, you really have to read their books to get the strength of their assertions.
Which does not take away from your point that most presidential assassination attempts have been by troubled individuals.

Yes, there are curious details surrounding the Oklahoma City bombing. I read Mylroie’s book and even spoke with her many years ago. There is also a possible German connection to McVeigh that should have been investigated. Whatever foreigners he was involved with, McVeigh was a dangerous ideologue with violent ideas. His prison friendship with Ted Kaczynski, to whom McVeigh spoke of a future alliance between the far left and right against a common enemy, has been documented. McVeigh was quite ruthless and flexible in his thinking. Again, the Federal authorities were more about covering up their own bungling than doing the best job. Egos and careers seem to get in the way of good work. This is something we are going to see more of in the future.
Dr Kaczynski, was correct in his diagnosis, but wrong in his prescription, but expediency can be irresistible to all too, many.
As a student as Portland State University, I found it curious that so many of my professors held doctorates from Yale. They were top notch teachers, while half the teachers at PSU are bottom barrel. I was shocked one Friday night at the student center, a group of these Yale alumni sat sipping white wine, and discussing how to over throw the United States. I dismissed as merely an inappropriate academic discussion at the time, but that was early in my attendance there.
I understand why McVeigh used ANFO. Ammonium Nitrate is easily obtained, and combined with fuel oil makes a good blasting agent. Having to detonate as much as was used, in a coordinated fashion to yield the effects seen, is not an easy thing.
ANFO is the most common explosive used in the US as it is the most common blasting agent. It is usually made at the site where the holes are charged and the detonators placed as the holes are charged. If the proportions are off, it will not work right, and if it is somehow “compressed” it will not even detonate.
While ANFO can be touchy at times, the information to use it is readily available and anyone of normal intelligence could effectively use it.
As a Professional Engineer, I’ve seen the stuff used frequently and understand it fairly well.

As we get into October/November, the danger of war grows. My sources say that Xi is leaning toward war. What kind of war? Will it involve the U.S. mainland? There are always collaborators when territory is occupied. Many Americans, however, are going to react violently against an invasion. Even if the number of collaborators is high, the number is likely to fall. Americans might say they would rather live under communism, but once they see massacres and brutal treatment of civilians, they will change their minds.

I would argue their perspectives educate us. Isn’t it important to know what educated Anti-Communist Europeans think? At least we agree on who the enemy is. Are they in error? Trump’s real attitude toward Ukraine is a puzzle. I am told that O’Brien is going to hold an important cabinet position, and O’Brien is pro-Ukraine. At the same time, J.D. Vance is anti-Ukrainian. What is Trump’s policy going to be? I think Trump likes ambiguity in foreign policy. It increases in bargaining position. It also hides his bottom line, his objectives, etc. We need to watch this closely.
I do not think Trump is as dumb as many think he is. There was a large-scale campaign to convince the Right to turn on Ukraine. I believe Vivek was possibly an infiltrator, sent specifically to be chosen as Trump’s VP. He never attacked him, savaged all other candidates, and would lavish praise on him. When Vance was chosen, Russian accounts I know were quite angry.
Additionally, while Trump hates for the US to lose money, he also never forgets what Putin is. He has said many times that when he was President, Putin gained no new territory, whereas during Obama and Biden’s terms, he did. The operation to use the “we’re wasting money in Ukraine!” Argument to blind conservatives to Putin has not worked on Trump. As much as he may want to save money or weapons, I don’t think there will ever come a day when he simply gives Putin what he wants.

To me, Trump’s promise to end the war in one day is becoming the new “I’ll build a wall”, so I don’t know if it can be dismissed as just pandering for votes. I suppose Trump could announce a bold policy on his first day, one that is massively unfavorable to Russia, but I don’t see him going against his base on this issue. There were some articles back in April citing sources close to Trump and his advisers, that said Trump’s idea was to pressure Ukraine to cede territory in return for peace. The political landscape has changed so much in the last 7 years, it is not the same situation as when Trump was president and we had the ‘Russia collusion’ hoax which consumed 3 out of 4 years of his presidency. This was the context of him quietly doing things to deter Russia. Instead what we have now is a large and vocal part of his base wanting him to act like a Russian asset. He will try to deliver on this campaign promise just as he tried to build the wall, and I don’t know if he will have the conviction to walk away from a “peace deal” if Putin holds out for the maximum (Russia isn’t North Korea after all). So the chances of him coming out in favor of helping Ukraine and “prolonging” the war are less likely. I worry that Trump’s lunch-menu approach to dealing with the Russia and China threat, where he surrounds himself with people from both sides of the debate, is not good enough to overcome our enemies’ carefully planned and coordinated moves. Jeff and Trevor have argued that Trump’s ambiguity is good insofar as it keeps America’s enemies guessing. But the problem, as Jean Robin’s reaction shows, is that it also keeps America’s allies guessing and creates uncertainty in the West’s collective security system. If allies pre-emptively rush to make a deal with Russia and China based on the belief (or excuse) that America will abandon them, that would not be good.

In that event, Russia and China will be free to move together in the Far East. Does anyone think that Ukraine will give up its territory? And Russia wants the whole of Ukraine. For the record, using the best audio I can acquire now, including files shared by Dr. Christ Martenson, I do not believe there were THREE shooters in this case (as in, not three offensive shooters). It is very likely there were two different offensive shooters, and two different counter-shooters (rounds #9 and #10). The real question now comes down to the first 3-round burst, vs the subsequent 5-round burst. In several audio recordings, those bursts sound VERY different in audio characteristics. The possibility I’m analyzing is whether first 3 rounds came from Crooks and then next 5 rounds came from a backup team that initiated when they saw Trump was not hit. Can’t prove it yet, but more and more evidence is pointing in this direction. The analysis continues. Keep crowdsourcing this. Keep making adjustments, corrections and clarifications as needed, as I am doing. In time we will hone in on what really happened, long before the “official” lies come out.

I was walking by when it happened. There were cops with patrol car lights all over lit up like the giant fir Christmas tree. The Portland Police, reportedly denied knowing about it in advance, but why the big show? The aspiring Jihadi was in FBI custody the entire time. There was no real bomb. The fake bomb was built by the FBI, and they knew that Moe was unarmed. They could have quietly arrested him without alarming the public, but instead they created a panic situation. Does this prove that Crooks was groomed at his college by Homeland Security or the Ethnic & Diversity department? No, but it seems to me to be strong, circumstantially to consider.
I have Persian friends. The family escaped Iran during the revolution for being Shaw supporters. Their business was destroyed and looted by Antifa over George Floyd weekend. So, I hesitate to put to fine a point on this, but I do so anyway. The head of CCAC’s Homeland Security department, and the head of the CCAC Ethnic & Diversity department, are both Persian Americans, who both started their careers at CCAC, in 2006. Furthermore, they are paid exponentially greater salaries than most other professors at their college or at many other colleges, as well.
Kamala’s Veep elect is the Governor of Pennsylvania. Crooks’ school is a public school, in that state, where the Governor oversees the regents.

The conspiracy theories regarding a “second shooter” seem entirely stupid to me. The larger “conspiracy” is why the Secret Service did not secure that roof, was notified by multiple people before, and allowed it to continue. By all accounts, Trump should not still be here. It can only be due to God’s protection that he still is.
The operation to remove Biden and install Kamala, who has zero public support and is “a chosen one”, according to Trevor Loudon, should disturb all of us. In California, she sicc’ed the police on pro-life groups. This shows she has zero qualms about dispatching law enforcement against her political opponents. UPDATE: After many days of analyzing audio, video and photographic evidence of the attempted assassination of President Trump, I cannot currently find any evidence whatsoever to support the notion that Crooks fired any shots at all. There is overwhelming evidence, however, in support of the idea that he was a patsy. The rifle was found 7+ feet away from his body. How did it get there if he was shot dead? Dead men don’t move rifles around. It’s clear the rifle was not in his hands when he was shot. No brass locations were apparently marked on the roof by the FBI or anyone else, and there are no brass casings present in the police body cam footage taken from the roof shortly after the shooting. Thus, we have zero evidence of any spent brass on the roof at all. The “crime scene” behavior and protocols by SS and LEOs is absolutely atrocious, as if they didn’t even consider it a real crime scene at all. The sniper named “Greg” in the second floor office of an adjacent building had a clear, open view of Crooks on the roof, yet did nothing to stop him, even after photographing him. The TMZ video showing Crooks at the very moment the first 3 rounds are fired shows NO RECOIL, no muzzle flash, and no brass ejecting from the right side of the rifle. How did Crooks fire a rifle with no recoil? The 1X optic or iron sights on the rifle also would have made it extremely difficult for Crooks to make a head shot with any sort of accuracy (without magnification). Furthermore, how did Crooks manufacture explosive devices that we are told were found in his car? Where would he have acquired such technical expertise to work with explosives without blowing himself up? Why was he allowed to fly a drone over the speaking location several hours before the event? Why was he allowed to use a rangefinger to range the podium location without being detained and questioned about his intentions? Why was he filmed walking around the grounds with no concern at all, almost as if he believed he was there with permission? (Training mission narrative.) How did he know this particular roof would not be covered by Secret Service? Who told him the roof was available to him? What seems to be emerging, in my view, is that Crooks believed he was on a training mission, working WITH law enforcement to determine vulnerabilities, and he was playing along as they told him things like, Here, take this rifle and climb onto that roof and tell us what you see. He did as he was told, put himself in position and then potentially somebody else took all 8 shots, after which Crooks was killed to wrap up the cover story. Although not yet provable – and perhaps never provable – this is emerging as a more likely explanation that fits the available data we have so far. It’s subject to change, of course, if new data points emerge, so I reserve the right to update or alter this analysis based on new data. Keep your thinking caps on. Keep crowdsourcing this investigation. The FBLie is now engaged in an active cover-up.

All of these gentlemen are conspiracy theorists of the Far Right who push propaganda out to their fans daily. And it seems that Adams is again out there, this time pushing the narrative of another shooter involved with the assassination attempt of Donald Trump.
And this time Adams is outdoing himself by claiming that there is “no evidence” that Thomas Crooks fired any shots. Here is the beginning of a new cycle of hysteria. Take any important event, take any one of these conspiracy addicts, and they will weave a conspiracy like a spider weaves a web — in a matter of hours or days. Then watch it go viral. These guys make millions spinning these tangled rhetorical webs. The flies that get caught in these webs, of course, are those who are drawn in by a process of morbid attraction.
There are so many loose threads around this attempted assassination that it’s inviting conspiracy theories, each wackier than the last.
As for Mike Adams, he runs a news aggregator site that includes RT as a legitimate news source. He also seems to have taken Putin’s side as far as the Ukrainian war is concerned.
The only things I know about the Trump shooting is that Trump was hit, the attempted assassin shot for the head, one person in the crowd was murdered and two seriously wounded, and that the Secret Service was (deliberately?) incompetent.
If I were the investigator coming upon the scene, the first thing I would look for is the physical evidence. That includes video. Second the eyewitness accounts. Mike Adams makes certain claims about the physical evidence—are those claims true? If not, he’s gone into lala land. If his claims concerning the physical evidence are true, then we have a problem. At this time, not knowing more than I already know, I cannot be sure of what happened. Without even being sure of the physical evidence, I cannot entertain any theories concerning the shooting.
We need to be sure of the facts before making theories.

How is it possible to allow a potential threat to a life of a presidential candidate to become a real threat – how can a true security detail allow one shot (not to say more than one as in this case of Trump) to be taken ?
So if this would have been staged, it would have to be a truly risky and brilliantly executed operation – and if there was an actual true shooter and not this Crooks as he would have been the patsy whom they then killed to cover up the whole tracks – this kind of conspiracy theory seems improbable at this point, although extremely expert marksman would have no problem executing that most accurate shot to the ear of Trump (and not to his head killing him – probably using a laser guided gun or some special guiding system which is most accurate) – so it is probably necessary to discard this possibility as such.
Now when it comes to the communist penetrated agencies and their scandalous role in this fiasco, that of itself serves as the demoralizing factor which the communists desire, to pretend incompetence of the government agencies responsible for safety of the presidents etc., and to instill distrust and discord among the enemy population, and this is the mark of a carefully planned KGB etc. controlled scene…and now the coverup is evident, because the US security agencies look incompetent (the least to say).
That Trump was sacrificed, if he was sacrificed, is another matter, because to the KGB Kremlin (and Beijing) the civil war is the sought target, and to start it some people need to die, and so Trump was the target. BUT to trust him to do the right thing when and if he gets elected is simply naive and misplaced direction.
Moreover, the communist subversion is the main weapon, and when that fails, only then the tanks and nukes are their option to be used, and the civil war of course, which the KGB criminals so much desire in the US (and elsewhere).
Another point could be made that by this Trump was warned not to go TOO FAR with the policies, but to “reach to the other side” and be more accommodating, OR ELSE there could be another shooter next time who will not miss…
These are truly evil times, only God can solve this and He will solve it, and God will allow these evils to take their course, in punishment of those who claim to be wise and have instead denied to truth and have consented to iniquity…as it is written.
And that this Crooks was connected with the communist operation, independent of the other aspects of what was to take place or not to take place during and now after the attempt, that is immaterial now, the results of what it was supposed to achieve is what matters the most. If the KGB through its CPUSA assets were taking this kind of truly extensive risk, that would have been the height the pinnacle of their operational ability, something they might not be willing to contemplate, if they were not willing to sacrifice Trump – of course they need to rob the US blind when they come, so they need the country to revive its economy, which is not possible with people as Biden or the Bolshevik asset Harris…
Trump’s 1980s visit to the Kremlin of course is another matter, and his accommodating policies towards China with the 50 Billion agriculture deal is also of importance, even with the proclaimed tariffs on imported Chinese goods and so on.
There are still many things hidden, and more options for the KGB to play with, which is their objective – to make the analysis nearly impossible, to cover up their tracks, to make certain the obscurity of what they intended in Butler, PA and elsewhere remains in place. For that they needed a domestic communist asset to pull the trigger and to take the blame (and the sniper hit)…it is what follows now that matter, even if the civil was doesn’t start, they objective to at least create confusion and mistrust has been achieved….the KGB Kremlin has not lost anything in this situation regarding Trump.
I don’t know why people invent elaborate conspiracies. Crooks hated Trump. He hated Republicans. There is footage of him screaming “slash his throat! Every f’in Republican!”, as his body is literally spasming in rage. I strongly suspect he was on some sort of pharmaceutical.

There is always the possibility of a hidden conspiracy, Timothy. But possibilities are not realities. The problem with your claim that Hinkley, Sr. was “the largest contributor to George H.W. Bush’s congressional campaign,” is that you are using this supposed fact (which may not even be true) to insinuate Hinkley senior’s involvement in a conspiracy to murder Ronald Reagan. A campaign donation or friendship with someone is not evidence of a crime.
If I were Hinckley, senior, and you said this to my face, I would feel the urge to punch you for (1) showing such great insensitivity to my own emotional suffering in the aftermath of this tragedy for which I must (as a father) feel responsible; (2) I would want to punch you for calling me a murderer and a villain; and (3) imagine how you would feel, if I suggested you were willing to sacrifice your own mentally distrubed child for the political advancement of a friend.
You think I am “far afield” on this topic. Consider how closely nearly everyone is connected to everyone else. For example, I know someone who was a protege of one of Stalin’s henchmen. Imagine that! There is only three degrees of separation between myself and Stalin! I also met someone who spent a lot of time with one of Hitler’s secretaries. That’s three degrees of separation from Hitler!
Imagine the conspiracy theories you could weave with the fact that people are “connected” to each other. There is no limite to the speculations you might indulge.
But unless you have something more substantial than two degrees of separation between a shooter and someone who might profit from the shooting, you had better check your suspicions at the door. All you have done is rank yourself on the paranoia index of a Rorschach test.
The article is good, and these assertions on part of people with apparent less analytic mind and more conspiratorial sense are of no consequence, they are more of a contradictory selective purpose than anything else. And a provocation perhaps.
There are always certain differences of opinion, but the logical sense and the outcome dictate the most probable ones and destroys the conspiratorial excesses.
In this case of this Crooks, it will probably never fully come out what exactly the truth is, but so far it doesn’t look good for the Biden’s camp and if (saying IF) Biden is in any way more substantially complicit in this Butler, PA fiasco, not just the “bullseye assertion” he made publicly, but more deeper potential involvement, then he, this horrible excommunicated anti-Catholic apostate element sectarian (with long-term KGB assets connections), will most certainly have to pay to God for it.
