According to the book “The Spy who was left out in the Cold: The Secret History of Agent Goleniewski” by Tim Tate, Goleniewski did not tell the Kissinger story right when he defected, but only many years later when he seems to have lost his mind and also claimed to be the last Tsar of Russia. In the book “Henry Kissinger Soviet Spy” by Frank A. Capell, Capell seems to have believed his Romanov story.
As for Golitsyn having said that Kissinger was a Soviet Spy, I am not aware of the source, maybe Alex could share his.
(just to be clear, I`d love to find a smoking gun for Kissinger having been “Bor” of “Odra”, but the information I currently have does not convince me yet, but maybe I miss some infos, that why I post this, so thank you very much to Alex and you, Jeff, for the very interesting video I already watched)
The book Widows has more on this, and Peter Wright of MI5 speculated in his book that the Romanov claims by Goleniewski were done under threat of the GRU/KGB when Roger Hollis (a Soviet agent according to Wright) was head of MI5 and was in a position to compromise Goleniewski’s security. It is impossible to determine Kissinger’s guilt or innocence from these sources alone. Discrediting G was more important than killing him once the Kissinger information was alleged. Remember, Kissinger was nobody of importance until 1969. In evaluating this, It is the sum of Kissinger’s career that points to a likely answer.
Here is the account given in the book “Widows,” by Trento, Trento and Corson: “Before and after Golitsyn, other defectors did not fare as well as he did. Michal Goleniweski — code name SNIPER — the highest-ranking Polish agent ever to defect to the West, had so worn out his welcome by the early 1970s that no one from the CIA even remained in touch with him. According to Petty, Angleton considered Goleniewski a provocation, a Soviet agent sent to the West with carefully prepared false information. He was not to be trusted. But from the time he defected in West Berlin in 1960 with his mistress, his information proved to be reliable. He had warned the West of a Soviet mole — a ‘midlevel agent,’ and his warnings were ignored. The mole was the infamous British agent George Blake, who turned out to have been working for the KGB.”
In 1970 Goleniewski called into question the loyalty of Sir Michael Hanley, “a senior official of MI5. [Clare Edward] Petty [who worked for Angleton] explained that the CIA had broken off its relationship with Goleniewski, but the FBI in New York kept in contact with him. Months later the British called Petty to tell him how extraordinarily helpful Goleniewski had been. Then they dropped a bombshell. As an aside to Goleniewski’s devastating accusations about Hanley, he charged that Nixon’s National Security Advisor — Henry Kissinger — was a Soviet agent. Petty was told by the British that Goleniewski had an office mate who had previously run some very sensitive cases, and he had a safe. When the agent handler died, Goleniewski was commission by the UB (Polish intelligence) to open up his safe and read the contents and inventory them. It was during this inventory that Goleniewski ran across a case of two Soviet agents run by his deceased colleague. According to Petty, Goleniewski said both of them had cryptonyms, exact information as to when they had been recruited, and a case file of what they had done. Goleniewski identified one as Henry Kissinger. He said that Kissinger had been returned to the United States and had been contacted subsequently to his return to continue his work for the Soviets in the United States.” pp. 54-55
The text continues: “Goleniewski knew that Kissinger had been put to work on a CIA project at Harvard. Petty and his colleagues were reasonably certain that Goleniewski could have come up with most of his information from open sources, but not the part about Kissinger’s CIA connections. That had been a secret. In 1971, Angleton’s staff reluctantly began an investigation of Kissinger. They had no choice, according to Petty: ‘Despite the fact that Goleniewski had been widely discredited as being mentally deranged or perhaps a Soviet agent, the specificity of his lead was comparable to that [which was] characteristic of his best work, and could in no way be ignored.’ Petty said.”
Angleton’s disbelief in Goleniewski basically killed the investigation, though Angleton came to regret it. Later, when Kissinger insisted on meeting with high-level Soviet agents alone and without witnesses, Angleton was furious and suspected Kissinger. “In a 1977 interview, Angleton made clear his opinion of Kissinger: ‘He refused CIA debriefings. He was really arrogant. We were worried that he would inadvertently say something. At first I thought it was arrogance. Later I began to suspect the worst.’” p. 56.
Then there were the charges made by CIA official Leonard McCoy, also claiming that Kissinger was a Soviet agent. Etc. This is a more difficult case than a superficial observer might at first determine.

Communists infiltrated conservative leaders of ag interests in Czechoslovakia in the late ‘40’s. Revolutionaries gained popular support and then put pressure on their wishy-washy politicians who were intimidated into approving legislative changes which bred more demands until conservatives were completely powerless.

The Republican Party “conservatives”, elected politicians, the judiciary, have no spine or gonads enough to stand for what is moral and Constitutional (much less Godly) and are led by the nose by the demands of Communist controlled Democrat Party in America today 2023. This applies to all facets of our society.

You missed the part when bourgeoise collaborated with Nazis. It was decided by pre war government in exile to ban the collaborator parties and nationalize business of collaborators.

Maybe it is obvious for everyone, but I am missing the point, of how western elites and communists interact. Are they helping one another or fighting one another? If they are collaborating, who is the smarter one. If they are fighting, who is winning? Or is it far more complicated than that.
If you were living in the fourth century, watching the Roman imperial elite and the Christians, you would be witnessing the imperial elite being gradually taken over and Christianized. At first the pagans thought they had freedom of worship, even when Christianity was officially recognized as a state religion. At that time the pagan cults remained in place. But the pagans were naive, thinking their traditions would be tolerated. Emperor Theodosius came along and outlawed all but the strictly Orthodox Christians. Long decades of political and social change made this transformation possible. The same is happening today as “socialism,” or “communism,” or whatever they end up calling it, takes over. That the pagans were gradually replaced in the Roman imperial bureaucracy does not mean the Christians outwitted them. Ditto for the socialists vs. our Western conservatives. This was the direction things were moving in and nobody could see what was happening until it was too late. Few can imagine their own worldview disappearing from history. Julian the Apostate tried to stop the process, but could not. No one person can stop such a change. The same process attends the present destruction of Christendom and its replacement with socialism. Our Christians seem totally helpless, incapable of reasoned resistance. Such were the pagans of the fourth century. Here we see the elite being transformed in the west. They are being Sovietized. The New Religion is replacing the old within the elites; only the process is not as yet complete. A new orthodoxy is forming. It is not a question of who is smarter. The socialists are all frightfully ignorant and philosophically misguided; yet the communists in Beijing and Moscow have no illusions. They realize what socialism means; namely, that it is not about the idealistic nonsense embraced by Western elites who do not fully realize what the New Religion is in practice — though a few here and there do realize it, and are simply malicious. Here the Western elites outwit themselves and the East takes full advantage. The East wants to use the transition to socialism in order to empower themselves. WHO will stop them? None.
Christians today are powerless to stop anything because they have forsaken the Reformation (which is Christ’s complaint against Sardis in Revelation 3:3) and are eschatologically illiterate, having imbibed Futurism and turned away from the Reformers’ Historicism in the wake of the debacle that led to William Miller’s “Great Disappointment” in the mid 1800s. They are all chasing shadows now, looking for a rebuilt temple, a Rapture, etc., or else they’re just too absorbed in football and Netflix to care.
The process Jeff is describing above is the Beast from the Sea (the West under the name and thrall of apostate Christianity) transforming into the Scarlet Beast from the Bottomless Pit (the West under the name and thrall of atheist Marxism), now happening before our very eyes. And this transformation is to be completed some time in 2025, from Revelation 11. Those two phases of the West described are the latter two of the three phases of Daniel 7’s fourth beast, the one that alarmed Daniel so much (the first phase being the Pagan Roman Empire, aka the Great Red Dragon of Rev 12).
The good news is it all falls apart 3.5 years later (ca 2028/29), but the bad news is the torrent of judgment that falls during those 3.5 years is the 7 last plagues of Rev 16, as the old writers correctly understood would be the case. The seventh of those is when the global war begins and brings the devastating “great hail”, which is contemporaneous with the fire sent from the Lord in Ezekiel 39:6. Anyone reading this and still resident in or near a major liberal city might want to relocate during the present narrowing window of opportunity before tyranny really kicks in throughout the West.
I think we have to be careful about preset thinking along these lines. We have to be open to the truth, admitting that we do not know it. This is basic to the human condition; that is, not knowing. Knowledge is acquired by direct experience. We are being politically overwhelmed because we have set notions that stop us from seeing and acting properly.
Maybe Christians can’t take over because the kingdom of Christ is not of this world. For me it is a miracle that there ever was a Christian society in the West with Christian governments. I am sceptical because I was brought up in Soviet Union, and it feels normal for me that evil wins and human rights are abused. Soon Christians will have to run away from persecution, being under attack like Jews are now.

It was more complex than you think.
By the late Roman empire, education had to be paid out of private funds (there were no public schools) so the lower classes increasingly were illiterate. It got to the point that when a young man was drafted into the military, if he was literate, he was automatically appointed to be an officer. A squad or platoon can be illiterate, following spoken orders, but officers had to be able to receive and follow written orders. For Christians, literacy was an obligation, not a luxury, because of the responsibility to read the Scriptures. By the time of Constantine, the majority of officers in the army were Christians.
However, Constantine’s making Christianity the official religion of the empire was probably the worst tragedy to hit the ancient church. Worse than persecution. Many, especially from the elites, joined the church, not because they had converted, but to seek political favors. So many, in fact, that they overwhelmed the churches’ ability properly to train and discipline new members. These unconverted pagans changed the names of their pagan gods to names found in the churches and continued other pagan practices, so that within a couple of generations many churches were transformed to neo-paganism. A good example is Augustine—his teaching was basically Platonism with a veneer of Christianity, and he was far from alone.
Fast forward over a millennium. State churches continued to be the bane of Christianity. In the early 1800s a new teaching, a new religion, appeared in the German state churches based on a mix of antisemitism, hatred of Christianity as taught in the Bible, belief in evolution with the resulting belief in the superiority of the Germanic race. By 1820 it was taught in state churches throughout northern Europe. As a linguist, I note that one of the founders of that religion, a fellow named Gesenius, wrote dictionaries, not to define Hebrew words as accurately as possible, rather to give evidence for his beliefs. What’s worse, his dictionaries are considered the basis for all academic Hebrew dictionaries that followed.
Followers of that new religion persecuted those who didn’t go along. The LCMS in the U.S. was founded by refugees from that persecution. Norway was just starting its university system, got a jump start from qualified professors who were discriminated against in Germany. When Germany was faced with Marxist socialism (Hitler lied, just like he lied about being a Christian), it’s a wonder that after over a century of the new religion being taught in the state churches, there were still some Christians in Germany. That new religion is a de facto ideological resurrection of paganism.
The reason the West is falling for communism, is because the West has become pagan. The state churches in Europe teach paganism. Most of the major church groups in the U.S. teach paganism. They may call it “Christian”, but underneath where it counts, it is paganism. The universities teach paganism. Communism is a form of paganism. It’s hard for paganism to oppose other paganisms.

The Russians have conducted this kind of test, prior to the Nuclear Testban Treaty. But all nuclear testing since that treaty has been below ground testing. So you cannot test the missile together with the warhead.

Trevor asks him who was “They” ie who was behind the Covid lockdowns, mandates, etc. Callendar answers WHO, international banks….another example of not naming the “bedrock “ problem….Communists. There is no central authority disseminating anti-communist propaganda the way there is on the other side. Most people simply believe what they hear, if they do not hear it, they do not know it. This is true. No governments are issuing warnings about communism or Marxism. Such warnings are not possible because Marxists have infiltrated all governments and would work feverishly to prevent the emergence of any kind of anticommunism. The term “global elites” is too broad and vague to carry the meaning you are reaching for. This is a bunch of limited individuals, usually specialists or politicians or businessmen. They are very busy. Ask yourself what busy people actually know. Most of them go with the flow. They are creatures of the prevailing culture like everyone else. They are as different from each other as other folks. Most people sense they are supposed to have a certain love for the poor and blacks and women and gays. Some are communists, others are intimidated or manipulated into going along without understanding.
