The smell of destruction drifts from Ukraine’s burning towns and cities. Russian troops advance. This same Big Bad Wolf threatens to blow down the houses of the Baltic piggies. We see a Russian military buildup on NATO’s border. There is a military buildup by China in the Far East. The future is coming into focus. Russians and Chinese are positioning their nuclear and biological weapons for attack. Russian satellites have begun stalking U.S. satellites.[iii] Russian saboteurs reportedly torched German military trucks in Erfurt.[iv]
The West is vulnerable, economically encumbered, unready – especially in the psychological sense. There are signs that Russia and China’s large conventional forces are about to double in size. It should not come as a surprise, since Russia and China have been shifting their economic production from consumer goods to arms. On its side, the West does not possess sufficient arms factories to keep up. Tax dollars in the West have been increasingly spent on social welfare programs. Little money is available to rebuild neglected military establishments. What was the origin of this? We look back and find that the so-called peace dividend of the 1990s was a disarmament dividend. The West became addicted to butter and unaccustomed to making guns. Few recognized the danger of post-Cold War optimism. When Newt Gingrich famously said in 1995 that he was “a hawk, but a cheap hawk,” he was clucking like a deluded hen.
Far to the east of the faux-fallen[v] Iron Curtain, through years of diligent work, Moscow’s intelligence services and Beijing’s agents have continued to drill down, to infiltrate the West, to hoodwink strategists, to lure corporate executives with sweetheart deals, to honey-trap politicians and billionaires, to delude tenured professors, to enter into the CDC and the National Institutes of Health, to baffle bureaucrats while filling Western cities with illegal aliens, saboteurs, and malcontents. All of this was one great preparation, one great softening. Nothing here was for its own sake. The unleashing of COVID-19 was part of the “preparatory period,” also known as “the overture.” The “special military operation” in Ukraine has also been part of “the overture.” All is connected to a mobilization that is only just beginning, a sequence long in the making. The ultimate objective, as testified to by GRU defector Stanislav Lunev, is the conquest of the United States. To this end the Chinese and Russian generals got together in 1991 and 92. They created a new set of plans, which mapped out the future destruction of the United States and a division of spoils. We also know, from the words of former Chinese Defense Minister Chi Haotian, that China was to acquire, as party to this bargain, the lower forty-eight states on which to build a “second China.”
And now the Chinese Foreign Minister, Wang Yi, has given instruction to his European counterparts. On 3 July he told the EU’s top diplomat, Kaja Kallas, that China will not accept a Russian defeat in Ukraine. According to Wang, China cannot afford a weakened Russia because the United States would then “shift focus towards Beijing.”[vi] The Chinese communist leaders know that a Russian victory over Ukraine will be a critical step forward for Moscow and Beijing’s “unlimited partnership.” Russia is China’s main ally, which serves to strengthen China against its main enemy (America).
It is the destruction of the United States that is uppermost in the thinking of Chinese military and political strategists. The top leadership of the Chinese Communist Party has studied the strategic errors of World War II. This is how they have been preparing themselves, intellectually, for World War III. Their primary criticism of Hitler is that he did not start out by destroying America first. All the other countries could have been easily conquered if America was destroyed at the outset. Thus, Chinese sources have reported the following: That China wants World War III to be fought on American soil; that China has been infiltrating People’s Liberation Army soldiers across the U.S. border; that China has been smuggling ammunition and weapons into the United States; that China is stirring up racial animosity between white and black Americans. Meanwhile, China and Russia have been infiltrating Latin America, placing communists into key leadership positions. The idea is to surround America, choke it off, weaken it by every and any means. Many fools within the United States political system are cooperating in this strategy.
China’s policies aims at the conquest of the United States. This is only natural, since America is the chief obstacle to Chinese and Russian global dominance. General Chi Haotian, like Soviet Marshal V.D. Sokolovskii in 1962, was one of the leading architects of an evolving long-range strategy of conquest. We do not know everything about this strategy, but we can see that Moscow and Beijing are still following a general outline that goes back decades. We have snapshots of this strategy from past defectors; especially from Jan Sejna, Anatoliy Golitsyn, Viktor Suvorov, and Stanislav Lunev. The Career of General Chi is worth reviewing in this context, for his secret speech of two decades ago is more shocking and brutal than any speech by Adolf Hitler, and most akin to Himmler’s infamous 4 October 1943 Posen speech, which discussed the extermination of the Jews and was recorded on audio tape.[vii]
More important than the rank of Defense Minister, General Chi Haotian was Vice Chairman of the Central Military Commission of the People’s Republic of China from December 1995 to March 2003. In terms of political power and policy-making, the Central Military Commission (CMC) is the supreme military leadership body of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and the People’s Republic of China (PRC). Its power is immense. It is arguably the most important institution after the CCP Politburo. The CMC exercises direct control over all five of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) theater commands. It also directly controls China’s nuclear arsenal. Furthermore, no biological attack could be launched without express orders from the CMC. This is the body which makes strategy, which lays down the military doctrines of the service branches and chooses the equipment to be built and the operations to be undertaken.
Communist strategy and grand strategy are not left to military professionals alone. Here we find political strategy and military strategy seamlessly blended, with political considerations uppermost. It is the conceptual unity, the fine coordination of all elements, that promises the greatest effect over the long haul. Most of the time that General Chi was Defense Minister of China, he was vice chairman of the CMC. This means he was a central figure in Chinese military strategy from 1995-2003. His speeches and his ideas reveal the most critical aspects of communist Chinese strategy. Serving as a military commissar for many years, Chi’s political work was always Marxist-Leninist at its core. He was a protégé of Deng Xiaoping and served as chief of the general staff ten years after Deng held that post. It has been suggested that Chi was directly involved in the arrest of the infamous “gang of four” political clique after the death of Mao. This clique was composed of Jiang Qing (Madam Mao, the last wife of Mao Zedong); Zhang Chunqiao, a leading political theorist; Wang Hongwen, a former factory worker seen by some as a potential successor to Mao; and Yao Wenyuan, a literary critic who played an important role at the outset of the Cultural Revolution when he denounced a play about an honest official who was dismissed from office for challenging a tyrannical emperor.[viii] The purpose of the clique, which was to instill revolutionary communist values in a generation of Chinese students, was fulfilled as China moved to a new phase under Deng. It was necessary to instill an intense revolutionary consciousness in the rising generation before moving into the Chinese New Economic Policy (NEP). The Chinese Communist Party is not a capitalist party. Their intention was not to build democratic institutions in the Western sense. Their foray into capitalism was pure strategy. Once they had mastered markets, compromised businessmen, stolen intellectual property, the time would come for a general assault against the capitalist countries. Communist values would once again be openly proclaimed. The generation brought up under the Cultural Revolution would return to the values of their youth.
Chi’s importance owes much to his ruthless strategic outlook. His secret speech on “cleaning up America,” which he spoke to top Communist Party officials more than twenty years ago, has been dismissed by many observers as something that could not have taken place. Five years ago, I spoke with a U.S. Army colonel who participated in translating the speech for the Pentagon. The colonel said the speech was authentic. It was delivered by Chi himself. It contained his characteristic phrases. The speech was significant because it discussed a future genocidal campaign against the American people. According to General Chi, the third and most important of China’s strategic problems is the “issue of America,” which he said was shocking, “but the logic is actually very simple.”
“The renaissance of China is in fundamental conflict with the Western strategic interest, and therefore will inevitably be obstructed by the western countries doing everything they can. So, Only by breaking the blockade formed by the western countries headed by the United States can China grow and move toward the world!
“Would the United States allow us to go out to gain new living space? First, if the United States is firm in blocking us, it is hard for us to do anything significant to Taiwan, Vietnam, India, or even Japan, [so] how much more living space can we get? Very trivial! Only countries like the United States, Canada and Australia have the vast land to serve our need for mass colonization.
“Therefore, solving the ‘issue of America’ is the key to solving all other issues. First, this makes it possible for us to have many people migrate there and even establish another China under the same leadership of the CCP. America was originally discovered by the ancestors of the yellow race, but Columbus gave credit to the white race. We the descendants of the Chinese nation are entitled to the possession of the land! It is said that the residents of the yellow race have a very low social status in the United States. We need to liberate them. Second, after solving the ‘issue of America,’ the western countries of Europe would bow to us, not to mention Taiwan, Japan and other small countries. Therefore, solving the ‘issue of America’ is the mission assigned to the CCP members by history.”[ix]
And what method would be used to “liberate” the yellow race in the United States? Chi explained the CCP’s strategy as follows:
“To resolve the issue of America we must be able to transcend conventions and restrictions. In history, when a country defeated another country or occupied another country, it could not kill all the people in the conquered land because back then you could not kill people effectively with sabers or long spears, or even with rifles or machine guns. Therefore, it was impossible to gain a stretch of land without keeping the people on that land. However, if we conquered America in this fashion, we would not be able to make many people migrate there.
“Only by using special means to ‘clean up’ America will we be able to lead the Chinese people there. This is the only choice left for us. This is not a matter of whether we are willing to do it or not. What kind of special means is there available for us to ‘clean up America’?”
The importance of “special means” for “cleaning up” America is central to the entire Chinese strategic enterprise. Rifles and machine guns are inadequate for the kind of mass killing General Chi had in mind. There is only one kind of weapon that can kill enough Americans to open the vast spaces of the United States for colonization. Chi’s speech continues:
“Conventional weapons such as fighters, canons, missiles and battleships won’t do; neither will highly destructive weapons such as nuclear weapons. We are not as foolish as to want to perish together with America by using nuclear weapons, despite the fact that we have been exclaiming that we will have the Taiwan issue resolved at whatever cost. Only by using non-destructive weapons that can kill many people will we be able to reserve America for ourselves. There has been rapid development of modern biological technology, and new bio-weapons have been invented one after another. Of course, we have not been idle, in the past years we have seized the opportunity to master weapons of this kind. We are capable of achieving our purpose of ‘cleaning up’ America all of a sudden. When Comrade Xiaoping was still with us, the Party Central Committee had the perspicacity to make the right decision not to develop aircraft carrier groups and focus instead on developing lethal weapons that can eliminate mass populations of the enemy country.”
Directly related to General Chi’s speech, in 2022 the Center for Security Policy’s Team B Report on the COVID 19 biological attack concluded that,
“The preponderance of evidence indicates that the SARS-CoV-2 virus was man-made, engineered in the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV), a product of the CCP’s illegal biological warfare program and exploited (whether the result of an intentional release with plausible deniability or opportunistically after an accidental leak from the lab) to inflict damage on China’s enemies and obtain proof-of-concept for Chinese BW attacks.”[x]
According to the Report’s Executive Summary, the pandemic was an act of deliberate biological warfare against the United States. If the virus was part of a leak, the Chinese government nonetheless took steps to assure the virus spread to the United States. The Chinese government, in fact, “participated in one of the tabletop pandemic exercises sponsored by Bill Gates.”[xi] The report also found serious problems with the West’s response to COVID-19 as a Chinese bioweapon.[xii] The Chinese communists not only attempted to deceive the West about the nature of SARS-CoV-2, they successfully imposed a Chinese model for containment of the pandemic on many countries. According to the B Team,
“Actions taken in the name of protecting the American people against COVID-19, including obligatory mask-wearing, lockdowns, and vaccine mandates and passports – which have been shown to be of dubious medical value but help enforce political agendas – should be rejected, as must the ‘China model’ for insinuating its totalitarian system, more generally, on the rest of the world.”
Government officials suspended property rights, destroyed businesses, while enforcing senseless rules on hundreds of millions of people. To show how useless these policies were, consider the case of Sweden. No mandatory national lockdowns were imposed in Sweden. Instead, the Swedes relied on recommendations, voluntary actions, and individual responsibility to reduce transmission. Schools and daycares, bars and restaurants, largely remained open. Considering the entire pandemic period (2020-2022), Sweden ranked among the lowest death rates in Europe. This suggests that while Sweden initially saw a higher mortality rate, the differences diminished over the long term compared to countries imposing lockdowns. In other words, the virus was going to spread everywhere. The lockdowns only slowed the spread and were harmful in and of themselves. The vaccines, in turn, were questionable. Sacrificing property rights for safety was not a good bargain in the end. The socialists loved it, of course. The most significant effect was hardly noticed: small businessmen, who Stalin said were the greatest enemy of communism, suffered the greatest losses.
The COVID-19 pandemic may have been a test run. According to Chinese defector and virologist, Dr. Li-Meng Yan, the COVID-19 virus was “created in the lab … and also, it is spread to the world to make … damage.”[xiii] The allegations of Dr. Li-Meng Yan are extremely controversial. She has cited sources in China who told her the virus was “intentionally brought out of this strict lab and released into the community.”[xiv]
Few have understood the COVID-19 pandemic strategically. China is upside-down in terms of population, with too many elderly people and not enough young people to support them. This happened because of China’s one child policy. The COVID-19 virus killed countless elderly people in China. This helped to alleviate the CCP’s difficulty with supporting hundreds of millions of elderly citizens who were too old to work. At the same time, outside China, the virus would do enormous economic damage – provoking deficit spending that would hamper the United States in its future efforts to rebuild its military industry and catch up with Chinese and Russian arms production. Once again, China’s long-range strategy has been carefully thought through. Only now, after Foreign Minister Wang Yi’s visit to Europe, do the West’s leaders finally understand what they have been dealing with. Russia and China are working together against the West. Their objective is to take down the United States. As General Chi said, Europe will fall when America falls. At the same time, Trump’s tariffs are hitting Europe to the glee of Russian and Chinese strategists. One must wonder how they achieved so much, with such astonishing coordination. Here, of course, the value of long-term thinking and strategic calculation may prove decisive.

How can we understand what Tucker Carlson is doing? He seems to be going deeper into whatever it is. Is he naive? Is he a traitor? Is he being paid? How can we find any kind of clarity on this? He has so much influence on the people that would have been strong anticommunists. The right often sounds like the left now!
This is exactly true for those of us who remember 1968.
For example, if I was interviewing Dugin for an American audience, I would ask him why he has so much praise for the Cuban Revolution. He of course posts this praise in Spanish. His praise for North Korea can be found in English. Tucker must have at least a small staff of researchers and writers. None of them had the wits to figure that Dugin is not a conservative?
This reminds of things I would catch in libertarian/conspiracy media years ago that said things like, “think about which nations don’t have a Rothschild-controlled central bank: Russia, Iran, Syria, North Korea, Venezuela. These are the nations demonized by the West.”
Even if one accepted this as true, the takeaway for a sane person should be that those Rothschilds and those central banks must not be so bad after all.
At the other end of the rabbit hole these people come out upside down, it’s an inversion, they begin to see good as evil and evil as good.

I agree. After all, the videos Tucker Carlson did when he was in Moscow in February 2024 were such blatant Soviet-Stalinist propaganda that I find it near-impossible that he wouldn’t know what was shown in these clips. I mean, to present one of the most ideological metro stations in Moscow and show Stalin-era murals from up close, accompanied by elegant Russian symphonic music – and then deny it’s got anything to do with communism – is quite something. I think he knows what he is doing.
I have noticed that Carlson is quite tricky in his interviews. His odd laugh and pretense of cluelessness is disingenuous. Look at his recent interview with Ted Cruz. Carlson was dishonest in his arguments, using tactics that were clever but shameful. He is not the sincere person he pretends to be.
I just found a 26-minute video conversation in which Tucker Carlson explains his great “Moscow experience”:

And more than just that.
Quite disgusted by Carlson. His dishonesty is apparent. An example is in his recent interview with Jeffery Sachs, listening to Sachs relay how Iran basically “just wants to get along and have ‘normal relations’ with America, if we just call off our ‘bull dog’ Israel, they don’t want nuclear weapons”. Carlson is not so stupid – he can’t possibly believe this tripe. Yet he enthusiastically agreed with Sachs. Pathetic. Lost whatever remaining respect I had for him when I saw that.
We should generally avoid being ad hominem, but I think this is another strange thing, how Sachs worked his way into the pro-Russia right. I’m sure he could be right about a few things, he probably likes chocolate or ice cream for example, but look at his positions on every other matter. Is this the guy to be listening to? He’s a raging leftist. I also like that when he’s brought out in these interviews all of his credentials are thrown around without mentioning that he’s always done left wing things for left wing organizations.

This is how Solovey summed up potential development of events with Trump’s recent announcement:
“Some believe that the delay works in the Kremlin’s favor. But Trump had no choice — he had to give a 50-day delay. Without it, there was no way he could expect Russia to stick to his terms. Russia had promised to influence Iran in reaching a nuclear deal. That’s why the delay is so long. But now Russia finds itself in a vulnerable position — if it fails with Iran, things could backfire.
Russia is hoping to buy time and defeat Ukraine.
Ukraine, on the other hand, has gained some hope. It’s been promised long-range missiles. If that promise is kept, Ukraine will get weapons quickly and in sufficient numbers. That would level the playing field. And with that, Ukraine’s bargaining position in any future negotiations would be much stronger.
On top of that, Ukrainian leadership has reportedly been given the green light to use ballistic missiles against Russian cities in the European part of Russia. So, such strikes can’t be ruled out.
This would trigger a sharp escalation in the war. There are two possible ways things could go from here:
1) The escalation could actually lead to de-escalation — Russia might be forced to scale back its military operations.
2) Or, the Kremlin might double down and keep escalating. And in that case, the threat of using tactical nuclear weapons could become more real.
I don’t know which scenario is more likely. At this point, both seem equally possible.”
From this I gained that Russia is now seriously considering (and has been considering all along) using nukes against Ukraine. I don’t know how it will play out with them testing NATO at the Western border. Would they strike simultaneously? But if Ukraine hits hard (which Zelenskiy is very capable of), Russia would have to respond.
Russia needs to win this war and they are trying to tweak all potential advantages. Trump has made critical mistakes in this regard.

Chinese Communists use the same exact excuse to validate a future invasion of America that it was originally theirs and that they have to take care of the mistreated Asian community in America, like Russia says now and Nazi Germany once did, it’s very interesting to see the same beats repeated over and over, much like how the claim that the Euromaidan was a CIA coup sounds very similar to other cases of Communists being overthrown by the population, they always consider the will of the people as a non-factor, as if there’s only what the Communists themselves want and what America wants.
The Trump administration, while erratic overall in their handling of foreign affairs, has been pretty consistent with their backstabbing Ukraine antics, and many things simply do not add up. This is the third time that Hegseth has messed with the shipment of equipment to Ukraine, and it is the third time his decision was reversed by Trump, so why doesn’t Trump do what he did on reality TV and fire this dude, if he goes against what Trump supposedly wants? It’s said that the only “qualification” that Hegseth has for getting his current job is being a big brown noser for Trump, so how come he’s going against Trump, and the POTUS does nothing, when it’s known that Trump is a “it’s my way or the highway” person?
I want to give Trump the benefit of the doubt but it really comes across as his administration stringing Ukraine along and only going back on their actions when there’s too much backlash against the latest stab in the back. Trump has been disappointed with Putin for what, more than a month by now yet clearly not disappointed enough for any real action against Russia. Sure he just signed some 10 billion weapons deal now, but Ukrainians probably know better than to trust this administration until they get their hands on the military gear. If certain folk made a big stinker out of a shipment of Patriot missiles and a bunch of outdated stuff that the US doesn’t even use anymore, sure they can find a lot to complain and then sabotage about this one.
The 50 days deadline, well his latest 2 weeks deadline has been over for a while, Russians won’t take it seriously, and most won’t as well. Some could say this is a strategy, Russians will think it is a bluff and then they’ll be caught with their pants down, okay but doesn’t he want this war to end? Why is he giving him free 50 days of Ukrainian civilians being bombed to Putin and then maybe something will happen? One could reply what about Iran, well we still do not know what will happen, but the Ayatollahs have already put a price on Trump’s head so it’s business as usual there, a setback but the bunch of lunatics over there are more vengeful. I don’t know, letting the war escalate for nearly 2 months then maybe do something about it sounds pretty stupid, people are waiting for the checkmate of the 4D chess that never comes, this magical move that will fix everything has been a thing since the first Trump term, and even after he lost the 2020 elections, the Q crowd and others have been anesthetizing folk by saying don’t worry, Biden won’t be the president, it’s all part of Trump’s master plan apparently. I can also say that this 4D chess hogwash has been used by some of the supposedly pro-Bolsonaro folk in Brazil to pacify his supporters while he was the president and he just suffered defeat after defeat after defeat on every possible front, no, don’t worry, he’s losing on everything but he’s a master strategist and he’ll defeat the left at one point. They even used the same exact catchphrase “trust the plan”, it’s some eerie stuff.
Sadly the picture of America’s leadership just looks very grim, Trump nonchalantly claimed that it looks like Russia might invade the Baltic States, then says he’s fully behind NATO’s article 5, it’s as if he doesn’t know the severity of the implications of a Russian invasion of NATO countries with American soldiers having to put their lives on the line, and he’s definitely going to get blamed for being soft in Russia and emboldening their lust for power with his wimpy talks with the Kremlin that get nowhere. The guy on a matter of days says that if feels like Russia is giving him BS, by having beautiful conversations by day and bombing cities at night, and then he claims that while Obama, Clinton and Biden were fooled by Putin, he hasn’t. I echo the sentiment someone once voiced on the web that Trump does look like some sort of Biden second term with better diction and more bravado when it comes to foreign affairs, many of his actions and words simply do not make sense at all.
I’ve written above that Trump gave Russia 50 days to also facilitate the Iran deal. But it is true, that he often acts like a fool. There are different opinions on this. He could act like a fool strategically. Or he just is.
This is the thing about Trump.
I see the situation the same way, though I hope Trump betrays Putin. I am not holding my breath.
Trumps hands are thoroughly stained with Ukrainian blood.
Even if there was no way we could afford to aid Ukraine, he could at least be a voice of moral clarity on the issue.
He’s always had a mouth, and that mouth speaks no wisdom; gives no evidence of any convictions and principles.
Our enemies have something on him. What it is, we may never know, but it’s something.
He can’t fool Putin or Jinping. They know practically everything about the condition of our military, our government, our society, etc. They’ve made it their business to infiltrate, study, manipulate, maneuver, for decades. To think Trump can somehow outfox these evil, dedicated, strategic monsters would be foolish.
But this has been a long time developing. It just happens to seem to be culminating on Trump’s watch.

You gave the edition (i.e., the Judith Hemschemeyer translation, “The Complete Poems of Anna Akhmatova”, expanded edition, Canongate Books, 1997), and you gave the page number: p. 699. – But what is the title?
It might help me to find the poem in a German edition online.
The poem is untitled and was written toward the end of the 1940s. Instead of a title she quotes, above her poem, a poem by I. Annensky, “….And the deserts of mute squares, / Where people were executed before dawn.” Perhaps she intended a phrase from one of these lines as a title and simply never assigned it.

I will try and find this poem in a good translation. Several German-language authors and poets, from what I understand, have done translations of Akhmatova’s work.

We also have the confirmation of witnesses present at the speech who testified to the fact that it happened.

China keeps on making moves to further promote this war. They must be really afraid of Trump turning his attention towards them.
It’s more than wanting Trump’s attention on Russia. It is wanting Russian victory so that Russian military support will be available in a future war across the Pacific into North America.
Dear Jeff and Friends, there is no doubt that the inability to recognize the fact that thanks to Ukraine’s valiant resistance against barbaric Russian aggression the Russians and Chinese had to postpone the attack on the USA and subsequently launch the WW3 should be regarded as a glaring example of the intellectual implosion of the, so called, West. That collapse can be also observed, unfortunately, within the circles of conservative analyst in Poland.
I do it in an accidental, perfunctory and chaotic way, however, I view a large number of conservative blogs, YouTube channels and also presentations on TikTok where I’ve discovered few very good new analysts of new generation. Despite of the awareness of the danger presented by Russia I have, practically, never approached any of them having a clear grasp of the real threat coming from as strategic as eternal alliance between the communist China and neo- Bolshevik Russia.
However, there is another element of the political and military game played, in that case, by Russia that is being almost universally overlooked by the entire plethora of analysts, pundits, presenters and so on… It is the link between the war against Ukraine and the Hamas’ attack on Israel.
Right after this attack, our Friend, Mr. Nyquist has pointed on that link and expressed his opinion that it was conducted to draw attention of the, so called, “world” from Ukraine. Needless to say, that the barbaric, inhuman character of that attack was deliberate to trigger as brutal as spectacular response from Israel.
Few days later I popped accidentally on Putin’s bio where I discovered that his birthday was on 7th October, the same day the terrorist attack on Israel took place, so it was obvious that it was some kind of “birthday present’ Hamas did for Putin.
A bit later, Mr. Nyquist quoted Mosan Hassan Jousef who has also made the same observation and that confirmed that my own observation was correct.
Since then, I have never encountered anyone from the entire spectrum of conservative analysts who have noticed that obvious fact. With the one exception of some obscure guy calling himself Peter an American of Ukrainian origin, and who operates on TikTok and provides us with an excellent report from Ukraine. It seems that even such fantastic people like gen. ben Hodges, Gen. Jak Kane, gen. Petraeus, or even great YouTubers like Jake Broe are unaware of the connection between those two tragic events. And that is something that blows my mind and disturbs me greatly because Putin’s indirect, or rather direct involvement in the terrorist attack on Israel is the most unimaginable, blatant illustration of his barbaric, inhuman and even diabolic perfidy and is an ultimate proof that Putin and his cohort cannot be, in any way, negotiated with and that any attempt to achieve any settlement with him is doomed to abysmal failure.
It should be obvious for anyone with even two functioning grey cells.
I can only wonder whether Trump is aware of this link; If not, he is a complete moron. If he knows and still deludes himself with the notion that he can negotiate with Putin, he is a TRIPPLE MORON. And if he knows and doesn’t really care, he is INHUMAN. And his very recent flip flop in that matter doesn’t change this image that much; After all, he is only willing to hand some weapons to Ukraine under the condition that the Europe will pay for them.
One can only imagine the strategic threat America would find herself under if Ukraine folded and the European part of NATO inevitably collapse. Trump and his cohort are completely delusional if they think that America alone would survive as a democratic country of free people.

So much that happens in military affairs and terrorism is interconnected, yet few can spot the obvious linkages. Why? This common failing derives from incapacity and ignorance. There is a general failure to study wars in the right way. There boredom with the dry business of method, dislike of the demanding and depressing realities attending psychological insight, and the painstaking process of studying and meditating over history. Courses in strategy and war are usually superficial, encumbered by bad social science, organized by small minds. Academic advisors of this type, who are given to presidents and prime ministers, can be very well informed, but they are usually blind when it comes to the deepest levels of insight.
Also, some mildly encouraging news from Poland. After almost a month of a vicious, barbaric campaign by Donald Tusk and his criminal cohort to derail the Presidency of the newly elected Karol Nawrocki, it looks like he will be soon sworn as a new Polish President. The fight against Nawrocki divided the so called “Citizen’s Coalition” and two small members of that “coalition” decided to break ranks with Tusk’s faction and gave Nawrocki their support.
That means a temporary relief for the Polish conservative forces as they must close ranks in the face of increasingly brazen attempts by Germans to inject as many as possible illegal “immigrants” into Poland through the Western border.
Because of the deliberate inaction by Tusk’s regime in that matter, the Poles are now establishing “citizens’ patrols” along the Polish German border to prevent the “illegals” from entering the Polish territory and the situation is getting heated up as the Police is under the order from some authorities, who are politically affiliated with Tusk’s regime, to render those vigilantes unlawful and even criminal. There is no doubt that the struggle between the Polish Conservatives and pro-Brussels Tusk’s regime will intensify.

At least we DO have something going for us: Extreme and widespread corruption and incompetence within the Chinese military. Their officers get promoted and take positions not based on merit, but on politics and bribery, up to the very top. They are in the middle of their second purge of high level commanders who had recently been placed by Xi.
And the consensus amongst China watchers now is that Xi Jingping has lost power and will be removed formally at some point this year. They might delay his formal removal for as long as possible since they need someone to blame for their rapidly collapsing economy, the OTHER thing we have going for us.
Yes, this seems to explain China’s strategic shift to openly support Russia. They are not confident in operating alone against the United States.
There is a story that Xi was impressed by the reactions of a cornered rat, how it fought. Years ago I watched a video where the videographer noticed a cat crossing a road to get a rat. The rat attacked the cat, not only drove it back, but chased it down the street.

And that the West is waking up? Raytheon announced months ago that they are reopening weapons’ production facilities and should be fully operational by this fall; Europe is building new weapons’ facilities; though the balance is not entirely in their favor, are they enough cornered rats that they will attack sooner rather than later?
There are several videos on Utube from “China Insider”, “China Observer”, “China Uncensored”, “Decoding China” and other channels documenting that the Chinese economy is in deep trouble, that the official statistics are fiction. The people are angry. Desperate. Blaming the CCP. Rioting. Even murdering local communist officials. Then the recent massive floods, killing heat wave, people remembering the “Mandate from heaven”, how long can the CCP hold out? Unless they do something major fast that they hope to unite the people behind them, will they suffer regime change “with Chinese characteristics”?

Yes. The Russians and Chinese could fall apart as they push their people beyond acceptable limits. Russia has been considering the nuclear option. The signs are there. The Baltic State invasion may be an intermediate testing maneuver. Let’s see if that option plays out.
Knowing what we know now about the vulnerability of our power grid, I cannot think of any reason China would need nor want to go the route of liquidating enough Americans for occupation by biological means. From the things I have learned from reading “Lights Out” By Ted Koppel, I would think that when the time comes, they will simply knock out enough electrical substations with their agents to cause an irreversible nationwide blackout. Ninety percent of Americans would be dead within a year. We all drive by many such substations in our own neighborhoods daily and I have never seen one with much more than a chain-link fence around it with wide open view to the public.
That being said, I am only speculating and am not the expert that Jeff is. What do yall think?
There is a serious problem with an EMP attack on the power grid. Nuclear power stations typically do not practice manual shutdown of the reactor. They rely on backup generators that would be knocked out in a super EMP attack. Once an EMP attack destroys the backup generators you have a very narrow window for shutting things down. since the coolant flow to the reactor has ceased. The temperature of the reactor core will then begin to rise uncontrollably. I have talked to people in the nuclear power industry. They think reactor meltdowns are likely. Nuclear reactors are fission and meltdowns would release their contaminants without containment because every emergency organization would be paralyzed and unable to respond. Environmental contamination would be widespread. Drinking water would be rendered undrinkable. Crops would be uneatable. Cows milk undrinkable. All animal products from the affected areas would be dangerous to eat. There are 93 commercial nuclear reactors operating in the United States, plus 17 reactors in Canada and 2 in Mexico that would be affected by a super EMP attack on the American grid. A Super EMP weapon would knock out all power system within line of site. Almost the entire continent would be affected. Off line generators could not be started, since the EMP would have damaged their electronic starters. Throughout North America there are 112 commercial generators that could melt down. Add to this the military reactors on ships and in bases. We are talking about a contamination hundreds of times greater than a general nuclear war. China wants North America to build a second China. Using an EMP to clean up America would ruin the land. North America would become a desert, with only small habitable pockets here and there. These would exist because of special features of the local ground water aquifers. Pennsylvania has a region where the ground water will be free of radiation, according to a secret Soviet study on this question that a defector told me about. The Russians have examined the EMP question, and they also know that the resulting meltdowns at 70 or 80 reactors in North America could cause such damage to life in the Atlantic Ocean that an irreversible environmental catastrophe might follow. Long-lasting particles from fission plants retain their dangerous characteristics for hundreds if not thousands of years. Cesium 137, for example, will cause cancer when absorbed by the thyroid. The half life of Cesium 137 is 30.04 years and would take about twenty iterations to be safe. That means the hazard of causing cancer in birds and mammals will last 2,740 years. Seeing what the global effect might be at such levels of contamination is an experiment nobody wants to attempt.

Our current Republican Party administration is as pro-Russia as the Democrat Party has been, with no concern about Putin’s Communist Party or strategies to destroy America.
I live in Missouri and have written extensive explanations to Senator Eric Schmitt (as well as Senator Josh Hawley) about Russian propaganda, and the strategies the Kremlin communist regime are still using to destroy our country. Both are absolutely clueless. Both are typical politicians who have no interest in reading or researching the Communist movement. They reply narratives that echo Donald Trump and his “administration” narratives. Russian influence is very evident with the likes of his current VP and on down the line.
The Republican Party has decided China is THE threat. No clue about “One Clenched Fist”. No interest in reading Golitsyn or any other Russian KGB defector. We, the USA, are screwed with the so called experts and politicians and leadership calling the shots.
Bottom line is that ordinary American citizens will be responsible for protecting their own property and loved ones. When SHTF no one is coming to “save you”.
Our government is not what was established. I worked extensively on state wide issues (specifically education) when my children were young 2012-2016. State and Federal politicians sell out to the highest bidder or lobby in the good ol’ U.S.A. Each and every one are just as much our enemy as any Chinese or Russian dictator or regime.
I find myself simply realizing that no matter what the few good guys say or try to push out (Nyquist, Loudon, Jimmy from Brooklyn) our fate has been sealed. Sold out. No one is coming to save us. We’ve been betrayed by our own “government”.
We know there is ignorance and lack of understanding, but we do not know where it will ultimately lead.
