“…being friendly in the world is what got us into this mess. We are not in high school. We don’t need friends. Every country puts their interest first, and when our interests align we can do business. And when they don’t, that’s life. If we have to burn down a few bridges with Denmark to take Greenland, we’re big boys. We dropped A-bombs on Japan and now they are our top ally in the Pacific. We may have to burn a bridge to build the big beautiful new one to the next generation. America is not handcuffed by history. Trump knows what we need.”
Jesse Watters[i]

As seen in the quote above, Fox News celebrity Jesse Watters gave us a lesson in political strategy. He spoke about America “taking” Greenland away from Denmark. To annex the territory of a small ally would constitute a “beautiful” bridge to the next generation. Jesse says: “If we have to burn down a few bridges … to take Greenland, we’re big boys.” As everyone knows, big boys take whatever they want from little girls. Compared to Jesse’s politics, Machiavelli’s Prince is a moralistic tract. For all his wicked advice, Machiavelli never advocated taking territory from allies. And why does Watters remind his listeners that we “are not in high school”? Is it because we are back in elementary school where the big kid takes the little kid’s lunch money?
Of course, “Thou shalt not steal” does not apply to big boys or big countries because big boys and big countries do whatever is in their best “interest.” Right? They can invade little countries like Georgia, or medium-sized countries like Ukraine. Or they can take islands like Greenland. Fox News’s golden boy thinks we need Greenland for national security. But we already have basing rights there under NATO. Why take Greenland? Is it because Trump is planning to pull out of NATO and, consequently, we will lose our basing rights?
An old-fashioned conservative would almost certainly characterize the Trump administration and Watters as moral idiots. What moral idiots lack is moral imagination. Such is the faculty for seeing ethical truth. Without moral imagination we live as animals, from moment to moment, unable to distinguish order from disorder, justice from injustice, or true national interest from national suicide. One might argue that moral idiocy is a kind of madness.
In 1801 Philippe Pinel wrote A Treatise on Insanity in which he referred to a condition he called manie sans délire, which roughly translates as “madness without delusion.” A few years later, Dr. J.C. Pritchard of England used the term “moral insanity” for this, saying it was “a form of moral derangement in which the intellectual faculties [are uninjured] while the disorder is manifested principally or alone in the state of feelings, temper, or habits….”[ii]
In 1941 American psychiatrist Hervey Cleckley published The Mask of Sanity, which first described the psychopathic personality as possessing “superficial charm, a lack of anxiety or guilt, undependability or dishonesty, egocentricity, an inability to form lasting intimate relationships, a failure to learn from punishment, poverty of emotions, a lack of insight into the impact of one’s behavior, and a failure to plan ahead.”[iii] As psychiatry continually changes, leading psychiatrists replaced the word psychopath with sociopath. Later still the term “anti-social personality” was substituted for sociopath. It seems that anything is better than calling someone evil, or “morally insane.”
This evolution of our language, away from moral categories toward a medical diagnosis, is clearly an attempt to deny the reality of evil. In the case of Jesse Watters and such likeminded personalities, the term “moral insanity,” coined by Philippe Pinel, is clearly more appropriate than clinical typologies used by modern psychiatrists; for it frames the issue better, being more exact in its descriptive power. Watters is not mentally ill. He is vicious.
Along these same lines, J.D. Vance landed in Greenland the week before last. He is very similar to Jesse Watters if we judge by his remarks. In a speech to American servicemen in Greenland, Vance said, “Our message to Denmark is very simple: You have not done a good job by the people of Greenland. You have under-invested in the people of Greenland, and you have under-invested in the security architecture of this incredible, beautiful landmass filled with incredible people. That has to change….” Vice President Vance urged Greenland to sever its ties with Denmark, opening the way for annexation by the United States.
The American vice president argued that possession of Greenland is essential for the defense of the United States against threats from Russia and China (which was surprising, since the administration has been saying the threats are from China and not Russia). According to Vance, Greenland is not adequately defended by Denmark. Ergo, America should possess Greenland. Only the United States can provide the necessary defense. “We hope that they [Greenland] choose to partner with the United States, because we’re the only nation on Earth that will respect their sovereignty and respect their security.”
To stand on Danish territory and argue for American annexation of that territory is not respecting Danish sovereignty. Yet Vance says America can be trusted to respect Greenland’s sovereignty. How is the vice president a proper representative of those who respect the sovereignty of other countries? He is arguing for Greenland’s annexation. This kind of thing has become a pattern with Vance, who recently spoke of the virtues of “diplomacy” after rudely talking over the Ukrainian head of state, who Vance then charged with ingratitude. On two major foreign policy questions the vice president presents us with a walking self-contradiction. He is an undiplomatic diplomat who respects sovereignty while threatening the sovereignty of allies.
Danish Foreign Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen said that Denmark was open to criticism “but does not appreciate the tone in which it is being delivered.” Adding to these remarks, Denmark’s prime minister said, “For many years we have stood side by side with the Americans in very difficult situations. Therefore, it is not an accurate way for the vice president to refer to Denmark.”
What are we to make of all these consistent inconsistencies which, to a large degree, make up the foreign policy of this administration? There is something unmistakably chaotic about President Donald Trump and his vice president. There is something deeply disturbing in their use of words. Their proposed policies involve radical changes to the status quo. To what end? As policymakers, Trump and Vance seem confused. Their policies make no sense.
In Russell Kirk’s book, The Conservative Mind, we are reminded that the law of change must be obeyed. Yet here we have a set of changes, advocated at great political cost, that are totally unnecessary. More than that, the changes proposed are radical, threatening to damage old interests and old allies. The United States has been the defender of the free world. Trump apparently would like to abandon NATO, whatever his diplomats are saying at the moment. (This is the only reason he is making such a fuss over Greenland.) You cannot simply abandon three dozen countries to destruction because you are tired of defending them. That is immoral and stupid. America’s allies, regardless of their military weakness, constitute a tripwire and a barrier to our enemies. These countries permit America’s defensive line to extend outward, making the U.S. homeland more secure while placing our forces in advanced positions vis-à-vis our enemy (i.e., Russia). Furthermore, these countries are economically powerful, and they support America’s currency as the main trading currency of the world, creating a constant demand for dollars overseas. This has allowed America to export its inflation, which helps sustain our country’s economy. If America suddenly stops defending Europe and Japan, etc., the dollar will no longer find itself supported by anyone. Our currency could lose a great deal of its value. In addition, Trump’s tariffs are also bound to contribute to the dollar’s decline. Such jarring economic and strategic changes, wrought with a pulverizing suddenness, would probably lead to an upheaval.
In respect of his policy, Trump is doing what the left has long wanted to do. But even the left, which is certainly crazy, has not been crazy enough to threaten NATO. Rather, they have the prudence to let the right commit suicide by way of foreign policy. The Democrats have done plenty of damage, but they understand what will happen if Russia takes over Europe. The Republican Party is now less aware of the danger from Russia than the Democrats. If NATO is abandoned, or Ukraine falls, the blame will come down on the Republicans.
Think about the danger we are in. We have a semi-literate Republican leadership and Fox News “journalists” advocating the annexation of Danish territory. We have a vice president who is unaware of his grotesque self-contradictory rhetoric. These people operate on what Eric Voegelin called a “vulgarian level,” which is the level of demagogic speech. They owe their positions to a Republic that has declined into an ochlocracy (i.e., system of mob rule). This is what America has become. Every change instituted by these clowns will be self-damaging because they do not know what they are doing. They cannot tell friends from enemies, they cannot use language without contradicting themselves, and they have no moral compass. In 1984, KGB defector Anatoliy Golitsyn warned about Moscow’s future plan to alienate America from Europe. He wrote the following under the heading “ideological solidarity”:
“Differences between American conservatives and European social democrats in their attitudes toward capitalism should not be allowed to weaken the Atlantic alliance. Democratic socialism is now firmly entrenched in Western Europe. Its economic ideals show some common features with the communist system and differ markedly from American economic ideals. But, like Americans, European social democrats regard democratic freedoms as sacrosanct; when faced by communists, the two are natural allies.”[iv]
The week before last, on the radio, I was chastised by a caller who said Trump was trying to “save America.” He was very anger and wanted to know why I was opposing America’s savior. But the caller’s premise was completely wrong. Trump is not our savior. Over the last five weeks he has done many things to help our communist enemies – from shutting down the voice of America to strengthening Russia’s economic and military position. A former NATO commander, General Hodges, has said that Trump’s Pentagon reorganization will result in a 30 percent decrease in the size of the United States Army. The situation is dire because we have leaders who cannot think strategically and have no sense of history. Eric Voegelin explained the situation in the following way:
“These vulgarian ochlocratic problems must not be taken lightly; one cannot simply not take notice of them. They are serious problems of life and death because the vulgarians create and dominate the intellectual climate in which the rise to power of figures like Hitler is possible. I would say, therefore, that in the German case the destroyers of the German language on the literary and journalistic level … were the true criminals who were guilty of the National Socialist atrocities, which were possible only when the social environment had been so destroyed by the vulgarians that a person who was truly representative of the vulgarian spirit could rise to power.”[v]
This is why Jesse Watters deserves criticism. His political commentaries are vulgar. But Watters is not alone. He is typical of his kind. Just as Voegelin blamed the vulgarians who dominated Germany’s intellectual climate before the rise of Hitler, Fox News and CNN are blameworthy today. The left and right in this country have supported damaging narratives from which the country may not recover. One network flatters the right while the other flatters the left. And people fall for it. As Josef Pieper argued in his book, Abuse of Language – Abuse of Power, the dishonest use of language prevails today through flattery. According to Pieper, “The most genuine territory of sophistic flattery … is [entertainment].” And entertainment is what our news channels have become. Pieper goes on to say, “’sophistic’ implies a claim to the highest standards of form and refinement.” Once you are convinced of your own good judgment and good taste, what will dissuade you from that self-pleasing self-conceited view of the world best explained in the Latin phrase Mundus vult decipi?[vi] Think of all the flattering notions that have been put forward by Presidents Biden and Trump in turn. Neither have dared to warn the American people of the threat from a renewed communist bloc. Neither have had the courage to advocate full nuclear rearmament for the United States. Why? America will be great again, says Trump. We will end the war in Eastern Europe. We will build a border wall and expel the illegals. Trump’s inauguration speech was beautiful. It was full of flattery. The American flag is going to be planted on Mars! What about the Russian flag planted at the North Pole? Not a word on that, to be sure.
Our political speech has many perversions and vulgarities. We are continually soiled by what we hear. What has become of our truth-tellers? CNN has long been a joke. Look at the fashionable faces on Fox News. Does the left or the right perceive things as they are? Do we live and act according to the truth? Are we nurtured by truth, or suffocating on self-conceit?
Our moral insanity came on gradually. Most people hardly noticed. A major turning point was when we accepted the collapse of the Soviet Union as a victory. Think for a moment. What did we do to secure this “victory” over Moscow? We were stalemated in Korea. We lost the Vietnam War – together with Laos and Cambodia. We did not defeat communism in Africa – in Angola and Namibia. In fact, we ended up losing South Africa to the communists as well as Congo. And the communists were not eliminated from Nicaragua. Look who rules that country today. And look at Afghanistan! In such matters we have always preferred self-deception. We have preferred to believe, with Francis Fukuyama, that we arrived at “the end of history.” Spend that peace dividend, America. Spend it for thirty years until you wake up one day with a rotting nuclear deterrent and no money to build a new one.
We have been dishonest and this is our fate. Our elites have been dishonest. Our educators have been dishonest. Our media has been dishonest. As the late Russian dissident Vladimir Bukovsky warned, the communists of eastern Europe were never put on trial for their crimes. There was no final defeat of the communist system in 1991. And here we are, facing a revived communist bloc in 2025. The communists are now well-armed, and they have infiltrated the core institutions of Europe and America. Furthermore, the West does not have the money or the skilled labor for immediate rearmament. However difficult, we must rebuild our workforce. But this is not being discussed. We must rebuild our military industries. But nobody is saying this.
For those who do not understand why this has happened, we were warned more than forty years ago. We were warned that Soviet liberalization was a deception. We were warned that Western disarmament in the wake of Soviet liberalization might prove fatal. The KGB defector Anatoliy Golitsyn, whose book New Lies for Old was published in 1984, predicted the whole course of future events. But few credited him, even when his predictions proved largely correct. Instead of credit, Golitsyn was mocked. He was slandered as “mentally ill.” He and the former head of the CIA counterintelligence staff, James Angleton, were called “drunkards.” And now Angleton is being blamed for the Kennedy assassination (through some very convoluted, dishonest, arguments presented across social media). Dust is being thrown in the eyes of the Americans. Who is throwing the dust? Obviously, the enemies of America who want Americans to chase their own tails.
For those who remain addicted to false narratives, let us state the obvious: Russia and China are predatory powers led by political criminals. To understand what these criminals want, we need to study Russian and Chinese history. We need to examine the propagandists of the Russian Federation, like the so-called Russian “philosopher” Alexander Dugin, who works for the Russian special services and recently tweeted: “Soros is [a] liberal Trotsky. Who is Trump? [He is a] Libertarian Stalin.”[vii]
Dugin is incredibly clever, and creative. He has a lot of intelligent people working with him, including sorcerers (believe it or not). Dugin wrote two essays on Aleister Crowley, the famous British occultist. It is all quite illuminating in a dark kind of way. Russia’s mind war against the West is employing Satanic inversion at every level. The communist bloc, as it were, has taken to manufacturing ideas for pro-capitalist ideologues; that is, for libertarian Stalinists, for Catholic Satanists, for Marxist Muslims, and for traditionalist hippies. Dugin’s networks are putting out narratives for communists and conservatives, for nationalists and religious traditionalists. With cognitive dissonance as a weapon, Dugin has fashioned seductive rhetorical ploys to lure the right into supporting what is – at the end of the day – a revived leftwing revolution. The idea is to split the West into evil “globalists” and “liberals” and “neocons” who are opposed to the good and noble President Trump (and the American working class). According to Dugin, a civil war would be a good thing for Britain. Dugin quotes Alex Jones as saying, “Americans asked for a Revolution and Trump is delivering it!” A revolution? Oh yes! Dugin quotes Mike Benz saying America should reduce its commitment to NATO if pro-Russian political leaders like Marine Le Pen continue to suffer political persecution in countries like France. And Dugin especially likes to glorify Elon Musk, Jack Posobiec, and Laura Loomer. Dugin probably thought it was funny, as well, to quote Posobiec’s April 2 Tweet, “Trump is now upending global economics and waging war on the globalists on behalf of the American Worker.”[viii]
On behalf of who? Is jack on the side of those who formerly said, “Workers of the World Unite?” Upending the West’s economic structures is, of course, to the advantage of the communists who have long advocated a “proletarian revolution.” Dugin wrote, “Liberation of imprisoned Princess Marine Le Pen can be the goal of [a] Eurasian crusade against evil EU monsters and perverts. [The] Deep State is [a] dragon. Any hero dreams to encounter it once in the life. And kill it.”
Dugin also quoted a statement made by China’s defense minister on 2 April: “China will intervene militarily on the side of Russia anytime and anywhere if NATO officially enters the war against the Russian Federation. We believe that everyone will understand this principle.” In another Tweet, Dugin wrote: “RUSSIA’S DUGIN STANDS WITH YEMEN’S HOUTHIS.” Why? Because they are the old Yemeni communists dressed up as Islamists. How does he keep a straight face? “The only real Muslims are Yemen’s Houthis,” says Dugin. “All the rest are ‘MINO’ (Muslims in Name Only). Yemenis fight as lions against a huge enemy. With no fear or hesitation. It is incredible.”[ix]
Among Dugin’s students in the Third World, we hear the joke that Dugin is now the real president of America, even as Dugin says publicly that “Putinism has won in the United States.” Dugin talks of a “New Right Multipolarity.” What does it mean? It means that Dugin is also a fan of Judge Napolitano’s interview with Col. Douglas Macgregor, the pro-Russian shill who asks whether the U.S. will “attack Iran for Netanyahu?”
On April 1, Dugin explained,
“If you ask us we can try to save Europe from the globalist dictatorship. If you don’t you are doomed. We’ll wash our hands. Europe dies. Great Europe from Lisbo[n] to Vladivostok under [the] glorious rule of [a] Russian Tsar. Vladimir Soloviev believed in that. Or Antichrist will dominate.”[x]
The rhetoric is blatant, the philosopher is mocking. Our ship of state is sinking. Some observers think that Trump is leading America into an alliance with Russia that will destroy Europe. I have heard that this is the plan, whatever is said in public to the contrary. Trump and Putin are natural allies. Dugin explained this during the following exchange with a CNN journalist:
CNN: A lot of people in the West believe, even fear, that President Trump is even closer ideologically and politically to Vladimir Putin than he is to his Western allies. What do you think?
DUGIN: Yes, it’s so. I agree. That is obvious. That is obvious. He is much more conservative. He is in favor of traditional values. He is in favor of patriotism, of the nation; and I define that as the great powers world order. Putin and Trump coincide in accepting this model instead of liberal globalism.”[xi]
We are now in the period KGB defector Golitsyn referred to as “one clenched fist.” The West has become militarily weak and is vulnerable to Russian and Chinese military moves. Dugin and other Russian agents have sown such seeds of confusion that nearly everyone has lost sight of this. A campaign of divide and conquer has been enabled by Trump’s trade policies and his attitude toward NATO. Dugin’s recent essay in Arktos Journal is titled, “Trump’s Retreat, Europe’s War.” Curiously, it is about Trump’s vacillations. According to Dugin, “Trump has simply failed to grasp the essence of the conflict and still does not fully understand who is fighting, why, and what for.” Trump cannot bring peace to Europe because he does not understand anything. Dugin argues:
“The war goes on. This is evident from Trump’s irritation, from the EU’s aggressive policy, and Zelensky’s terrorist tactics. It is also clear from the words of our president, who calls upon the people and society not to relax. The war has not ended because it can only end in our victory – and for that, much still needs to be done.”[xii]
Russia is mobilized and they are not going to stand down. Everything has been prepared, as well, for a wider war. This is how the strategy of “one clenched fist,” described by KGB defector Golitsyn in 1984, is meant to develop. The balance of power is no longer in America’s favor. The West must realize that there is not going to be peace. The war can only be widened. Indeed, China is halfway to mobilization along with North Korea. Meanwhile, Europe is only now realizing the danger that confronts one and all. With 800,000 men, Ukraine has successfully resisted Russian aggression for three years. But Russia is now fully mobilizing its war potential. And the intention should be clear. The war will not be limited to eastern Europe. If and when Russia defeats Ukraine, the Ukrainian army will be added to Russia’s, and NATO will face nearly 3 million Russian troops. Perhaps when the mobilizations are finished there will be 5 million men in Russia’s armed forces.
In a recent interview, Andrie Illarionov outlined the problem correctly. He told his listeners to forget this nonsense about the small size of the Russian economy. Russia currently outproduces all the NATO countries in armaments (including the USA) by four to one. And that is not counting North Korea and China. Illarionov quoted Pushkin as having explained the problem of gold versus guns: “I am ready to buy everything, but the final word remains with guns.” This is also what Machiavelli taught when he contradicted Cicero’s statement that gold “is the sinews of war.” No, said Machiavelli, good soldiers are the sinews of war. Or, if we wish to paraphrase Mao’s Yenan Way: The capitalists say power comes from money, but I say power comes from the barrel of a gun. They can have all the money, let me have all the guns. I will then turn my guns on them and own all the money and all the guns.
While explaining these basic truths, Illarionov’s polite but contemptuous delivery argued that America’s leaders are “kindergartners.” Trump is so ignorant and foolish, noted Illarionov, that he is not even following Chamberlain’s appeasement policy. Trump’s policy is much worse than appeasement. “For Trump Ukraine is irrelevant,” said Illarionov. “[Ukraine] must be given to Putin to lure him into an alliance with Trump.” Likewise, the fate of Europe is of no consequence to Trump whatsoever. The Chinese military buildup has persuaded Trump to adopt a desperate policy of aligning America with the only country that can help him stop China. Yet, China and Russia have what is called “an unlimited partnership.” Trump’s policy, said Illarionov, is ignorant and incompetent. Trump and his staff are the kind of people who do not read, who have no intellectual curiosity. “They are from kindergarten,” said Illarionov. He mocked envoy Witkoff for mistaking the United Nations for the League of Nations. “This is incompetence and ignorance,” repeated Illarionov. “It is not difficult to manipulate such people.” Then he explained, “You are thinking there will be peace, but there won’t be peace. Capitulation of Ukraine … means that Ukraine will be subjugated, then the Ukrainian Army will be part of the Russian war machine.”
There is no question as to what follows. We are now in the final phase of the communist bloc long-range strategy. This is more than a war strategy, to be sure. We have been infiltrated not only by communists, but by Dugin’s network of post-communist “traditionalists” and sorcerers. These are Russia’s Janissaries in a war of inverted philosophical ideas. In this as in other matters, the Americans remain kindergartners. Very soon we must face reality. We must graduate from kindergarten. It is time for America to put on her big girl’s blouse.

Trump and his entourage mark a new low (an end-time low, that is) in American politics. They are turning what once was the much-admired land of the free and home of the brave into a barbarian caricature of its former self. The once-proud and esteemed American Republic is becoming a banana republlic run by Neandertals. Longterm alliances are being mercilessly torn apart. The stock markets are crumbling. And yet these morons find it all wonderful. History will surely reserve a special place for “The Donald”, albeit not the kind of place he may be thinking of …
I think that’s offensive to the Neandertals
Trump is trying to collapse the stock market. He thinks that will help him by lowering interest rates. But millions will lose their jobs. Tax revenue and economic activity will stall. Disaster follows disaster. Continually changing his mind he will only succeed in making gold $5000 an ounce and more.
It seems we are witnessing, in real time, a just-as-bizarre Trump version of the late Yegor Gaidar’s so-called Shock Therapy economic “reforms” in Yeltsin’s newly born “Russia”, post-1991. The background is completely different, the economic starting position certainly couldn’t be more different, but the result might end up being, if not the same, then very, very similar. Trump is liquidating the United States (and by extension, the whole of the free world), and by now even the Clintons, if not Obama, might be genuinely horrified …
Interesting comparison. If somebody devised a formula to collapse the West, Trump seems to be following it. Will the banking system collapse? Will major corporations go under? Will unemployment overwhelm Europe and America? Some hold out hope that Trump knows what he is doing. Can he shave $1 trillion off the Federal budget? That would be important. Will the tariffs raise tax revenue or kill trade? Can Trump bring investment here through the dollars flooding back? Can America re-industrialize? At what immediate cost? It is certainly a gamble. But then there is the military factor: Surely this will force China to go to war soon, right? If the Chinese elite were having second thoughts about war, the destruction of their export economy forces a decision to attack America. Trump’s high tariffs on China were more than previously anticipated. Even as Russia positions its missiles to take out the French nuclear deterrent, China is being pushed by tariffs into all-out war. Or have I missed something? The Trump policy locks China and Russia into their purpose. No turning back is possible now. Or so it seems.
The wild thing is that economists and investors around the world are watching in disbelief – and seem powerless.
I studied economics at the graduate level. I struggled to learn many things. Then I worked 12 years with an investment firm. They taught me even more about investing and economics. Trump’s policies are too radical to produce a good result. That’s what I learned, in short. You just cannot succeed this way.
I’ve never studied economics, so please let me know if I am off track here.
I remember the process involved in “off-shoring” was complex and didn’t take place instantly. Financial (including providing incentives), legal, and regulatory skids had to be greased.
To reverse this would be as much or more complex. You can’t just wave a tariff wand and expect that manufacturing will return overnight. Such reconstruction should be done but will take YEARS. Plus, many manufacturing skills that used to be passed on from father to son have just disappeared and will need to be relearnt.
Meanwhile, who suffers? Many people live on fixed or limited incomes and pay no federal tax after exemptions, credits, deductions, etc. Suddenly, all kinds of everyday items like food cost more — let alone trying to buy a new car! Consumption taxes especially penalize families with children.
I voted for Trump three times but am horrified by the betrayal of Ukraine, and now this chaotic tariffs issue. I believe he’s just handed the midterms over to the Democrats. So much for 5D chess!
Yes. I agree completely. This large tariffs are madness. I thought maybe a small tariff and a return to industrial education for young people. But this tariff regime is too drastic, giving no time for people to adjust. The costs imposed are going bring real hardship to people.
Thomas Sowell is appalled. Basically he says there needs to be some kind of due process to raising tariffs. You cannot leave your counterparts guessing what the next move is going to be as long term investments need some form of stability and assurances. It also is counter productive to use those to help out companies like Intel which failed to invest in new tech such as cellphone CISC processors and GPUs, milking its now near obsolete architecture, punishing Taiwan for having made the better bet. I was on the fence but now Trump is looking like a bully even asking Europe to pay back. The thing is, there are two types of business deal. One is involves both parties going their own way after the deal like at a poker game bluff, not caring if the other is sore. The other deal involves also an uneven trade where one party gets the better asset but assumes the two parties will keep working together and keep a relationship, having mutual interest in both succeeding nevertheless. What Trump is doing is the greedy narcissistic Bronx mafia style of going own way, the way you would buy a piece of land from natives and then chase them out. Same idea with Greenland… If the other party is on its own after being diminished, there is no incentive there, the message is one of Denmark admitting fault and guilt in a prosecution and left to the mercy of Russia.
Yes! The Constitution gave Congress the power to raise tariffs, but Congress passed a law giving its power away. We need to repeal that law.
Great article as usual, and terrifying. You should have used Pinhead from the Hellraiser movies (only the first film is good, based closely on the novel “The Hellbound Heart”). The Satanic element would have fit with the themes in this piece.
Re: Ukrainian army being subsumed into the Russian army. I think that’s a Russian pipe dream. About as likely as American troops during the revolutionary war joining the British to burn American cities. IF Ukraine fails, we will instead see a genocide. Dugin himself has called for a “genocide” of supposed Ukrainian “idiots” or so-called “fake” Ukrainians who he has described as a race that has crawled up from the sewers (if memory serves). Millions will be systematically destroyed and tortured just as Russian troops did in Bucha and so many other Ukrainian cities, turning them into open air gulags that would make Pinhead and his Cenobites blush. Ukraine would turn into a mass grave… and Ukrainians know it.
Any news on Russia’s buildup in Kaliningrad and Belarus and timelines of when they’ll move on the Suwalki gap?
No timetable. We are watching it.
Re: Ukrainian army being subsumed into the Russian army. I think that’s a Russian pipe dream.
——–
Ukraine “used to be” a communist region of the Soviet Union, and so there was no real change nor, as the article correctly stated, no justice against the communists in Eastern Europe, and so they know that if Russia wins the war that they will have to cooperate or else, and of course it seems impossible to imagine, but to the communists and fellow travelers, nothing is important but their evil cause and so they are willing to betray their own country if and when necessary, even after what the Russians were and are doing to Ukraine…
The question remains – how many of the Ukrainian population, are still communists and communist oriented ?
The article is not misleading nor exaggerating at all on this point. If it comes to that they will be with the Kremlin masters, especially when the victors engage in active measures against the dissenters and have several hundreds or thousands of them shot, then this very item of joing in will be accomplished a lot quicker. It will be either a firing squad (and they should count themselves lucky if that will be the case and not some more sinister and more brutal means of extermination), or joing the Red Army’s march against the hated western capitalists….
Every Ukrainian soldier is consider by Moscow to be a terrorist. That means a death sentence. In order to work off this death sentence, they will have to enter the Russian Army. That seems to be the Moscow’s plan for the Ukrainian troops. They will execute many officers and NCOs of course. But 99 percent will remain. Will they fight for Russia? What would you do under similar circumstances? Live or face execution?
They also want to reunite the “Mother Russia” under the banner of the hammer and sickle of the communist state, and perhaps there are already many new promises made how great the future will be, if people join in and help create this great Union once again – and such like unification promises and the fear of reprisals, and the already perverted minds of those who do witness the war and have to be involved in it, all of it together will work for Moscow. There is no more sound foundation of true resistance to communism in this world and so that’s why it progresses so much, even though it is still a clandestine path…for the time being, i.e. they don’t advertize is that openly, but it is the ultimate objective and nothing less.
Ukrainians know the difference between life under Russian domination and independence.
Someone killing or trying to kill my family is all the motivation I need to resist unto death, regardless of whether I understand Communism or not.
It may be so with the American mind, and it better be so, but you are talking about the mindset of people who grew up in fear, which was instilled in them by the communist tyrants, and so the will to resist when you know what the consequences are and when you know that there are very few who have the same resolve, is crippled and purposely so, and this is the most evil achievement of the communist run atheistic education and upbringing in that kind of poisonous enviroment – otherwise your point is absolutely correct, and let us hope that it will become more and more prevalent in the whole world, which, as it is all written in the Holy Scripture, it will be so when the time of the Antichrist comes, then people will unite and destroy such servants of the devil, once and for all.
The demage they, the communists, had caused over the years and decades of this evil ideology, is in the crippling of this resolve to resist them, and quite frankly this is not the 1936 AD Spanish Catholics that fought and won against the Stalin backed commies in Spain (and they had almost the entire military and police force behind them, as these were also true Catholics), so it comes to this – if God does not help, no matter how much people try to defend themselves, these servants of Satan will take over the world, but at the end they will be destroyed – and the good part is that they don’t understand nor believe it, not yet anyway – but they will, they most surely will.
Some individuals do fight to the death, and they find it hard to imagine why thousands have marched into capitivity. It lies in human psychology and the desire to live, which is an intense and immediate thing. A hopeless cause is hopeless. This hopelessness can infect the minds of soldiers.
This is making the big assumption Ukraine surrenders. Russia is already executing captured soldiers. And torturing others. I’ve seen countless videos. I don’t think Ukrainian soldiers will surrender and fight for Russia. They’ve killed many of their family members in attacks on civilians. I wouldn’t dare surrender. It wouldn’t enter my mind.
Real war does not work as it does in the movies, Armies do not fight to the last man, they surrender when their situation becomes hopeless and morale collapses. Moral is a group phenomeon. When an Army runs out of ammunication, when its commanders want to save their men from certain death, surrender is negotiated. Where in modern history has an army fought to the last man? Sixth Army trapped in Stalingrad did not, even though Hitler ordered them to. Even the commander of Sixth Army, General Firedrich von Paulus surrendered and became a Soviet puppet. Hitler made Paulus a Field Marshal in anticipation of the general’s death. How embarrassing, then, when the “brave” field marshal marched his army into captivity.
Many Ukrainians will die, of course. But armies usually stop fighting and surrender when they are surrounded or cut off from supply.
I understand that war does not work as it does in the movies. Please.
Then let us talk history. When in history did a nation fight to the last man? I think Carthage did, but that’s because the Roman’s would not accept any other outcome than annihilation for the defenders.
Is not Russia genociding Ukraine? Is that not what Dugin has called for? Is that not what virtually every Ukrainian social media account has been screaming is happening to them? Do they not regard themselves as being systematically genocided?
I have seen very many of them refer to the Holodomor as a rallying point and reason not to give in to Russia. In other words, they see giving in as what it is -death.
I don’t say they will fight to the last man.
But I do say, they will have to suffer exponentially more death and destruction before they surrender.
Yes, and they have fought harder for that reason.
I feel they will continue to fight on. I feel it will take much, much more to cause them to surrender.
I know that without American and European support, it looks hopeless.
But as long as they don’t give up hope, I’m not going to give up my hope for them.
If Ukraine’s army does not have the logistical support from abroad they will no longer enjoy a 7-1 kill ratio. If that kill ratio falls below 3-2 they will begin to collapse.
Jeff, I am not trying to argue against history, nor pretend to know more history than you.
But, to me, even the Chechens didn’t have the same motivation the Ukrainians have. They are mostly Muslim, and we know that is a pretty messed up belief system.
My understanding about Ukraine, is that a revival, or awakening, of Christian faith coincided with, and fueled, their desire to get rid of the Soviet puppet government and the residual Soviet corruption.
I have read that on the square during the Euromaidan “Revolution”, there were priests and protestant clergymen among the people gathered, and involved. That no drinking was tolerated.
This, to me, sets Ukraine apart from many other nations in history. I distinctly remember when many in the “faith community” in America were abuzz with the spiritual awakening and desire for real independence taking place in Ukraine at that time, with not a few saying it was the closest thing to the American War for Independence the world had seen since that war.
And so, I think of how a large minority fought the British in America, and how they would not surrender. How they endured and persevered no matter the odds.
And, I am convinced that is the spirit of those fighting and supporting the fight in Ukraine.
Do they fight to the last man? I don’t know. But I think they fight until they win,or can literally fight no more.
I have an elderly pastor friend who went to Ukraine two or more times in the nineties to help churches there since Christianity could be more openly practiced. He has told me that he has heard that a lot of the Ukrainian soldiers have come to faith in Christ during this war.
If that is so, then i think it will be awful hard to compel a force in which a goodly amount believe “to live is Christ and to die is gain”, or “greater love hath no man than this, that a man would lay down his life for his friends”, to surrender.
Chechnians did not have this faith anchored in the living God who imparts this kind of spirit to those who believe in Him.
And I am really hoping that during this time span that Ukraine is refraining from attacking Russian “energy infrastructure” because of Trump’s wicked pressure, that their steadfast innovation is preparing some very serious surprises for Russia.
Genocide in this case means eradication by turning all Ukrainians into Russians. Then Ukraine simply returns to the Rodina (motherland). About 10 percent of the people might have to be killed, or it could be a lot less. Half the population will have fled abroad. Such were the numbers in the Afghan War. To make its plan work Russia has to trap the Ukrainian Armies in a double envelopment. It’s ambitious, but not impossible to turn Ukrainian troops into Soviet troops. Undoubtedly they will be redistributed into Russian units. You were saying this cannot happen. I am merely saying it is possible.
Understood.
Maybe I wasn’t as clear as I should have been. I don’t think it’s possible without the deaths of very many more Ukrainians. There is a seemingly large element that will have to be killed before this is possible, in my opinion.
However, to the Ukrainians I’ve read on social media, they understand genocide to mean wiping them out and yes, kidnapping and turning their kids into Russians.
You mean to Dugin, genocide means turning them into Russians as opposed to killing them all, right?
The best laid plans of mice and men gang aft agley.
The warriors of Azov military group were surrounded by Russians in Mariupol. They didn’t want to surrender. But Zelenskiy negotiated with Russians to let them out and return to Ukraine. The men trusted Zelenskiy and they were also out of ammunition and supplies. So they surrendered and were taken prisoners. Russia as usually didn’t keep their word. Many died in captivity. Some of them are little by little returning during exchanges. But a lot more remain. This is reality. I see that under certain conditions people surrender. One guy didn’t and walked home through the fields and miraculously survived. That was an exception. Also the most motivated and patriotic people went to the front line first. Many of them died. The new wave of fighters are not as motivated. They were forcibly conscripted. So their morale is much lower.
Many Ukrainians have already been conscripted by the Russians in the occupied territories and used as canon fodder. Their loss rate is several times higher than the Russian loss rate.
🤬
Wow. JD Vance flies to Greenland to lecture those people from a US Base.
He lectures Zelensky at the Oval Office too. And yet a radio caller chastises
Jeff saying Trump is saving America. Amazing.
And the White House literally sent people door to door to find a Greenlander family willing to do photos with the VP. They had ZERO takers!
It shows how politically clueless these people are.
Had they been less opinionated they would have sent a prior a diplomatic delegation of ethnographers. This admin seems to do away with diplomats, much the way the woke are their own diplomats and thus inherently at war.
I dont understand the state of war of the Trump-Vance aparatus. As much as Obama was obvious, no one even on the left seem to register this for Trump.
In effect, the behavior of Trump might actually be Maoist, ie. all institutions and deep state dragging feet or Federal Reserve staying mum to jitter further stock markets under Trump, is suicidal, because it is going to look more and more like a demoralized abdication and facilitating ushering Trump as some kind of accidental god.
They wanted Obama to be a god and spoon fed him and subsidized him with all these medias and ministries, all of them now catastrophically failing, and Trump walzes in without any of those in need, hence an automatic god sociologically speaking, much the way Mao became the god of the Taxis in the chinese hindu-taoist pantheon.
I hate to say it – and please don’t get this wrong, anybody, because this leads us right into the hate clichés coddled by the radical Left for decades of a “fascist America”, which has always been a sorry joke – but I think it’s now time nonetheless, for all the obvious and in fact unexpected reasons, to view this whole Trump/MAGA madness from the standpoint of political mass psychology.
A good point of departure in this regard (who would have thought that it could ever come to this in AMERICA?!) might be German historian and internationally renowned Hitler biographer Joachim C. Fest (1926 – 2006), who not only in 1973 published his reference work, “Hitler” (which everybody is highly encouraged to read: https://archive.org/details/hitler00joac/page/n3/mode/2up?view=theater), but Mr. Fest also made in 1977 an immense 150-minute documentary film titled, “Hitler: A Career”. Watch it and be scared! (The only free-of-charge, high-resolution copy of the English version that I could find is on the Russian video platform, ok.ru: https://ok.ru/video/8144325642958.)
Fest had important insights.
The big differences notwithstanding, the parallels – dare we say? – between the Hitlerian movement and Trump’s MAGA train are striking nonetheless. Under Hitler, the slogan went, “Deutschland, erwache!” (Germany, Awake!”) Under Trump, of course, it’s the promise of “making America great again”. Both are workers’ movements, non-bourgeois, non-conservative and even declaredly “revolutionary”. Both Hitler and Trump are “messianic” figures supposedly destined to “save” Germany/America. Hitler had started out as a failed artist and drifter. Trump, in his own way, has been just that as well. Hitler despised the decadence of late 1920s’/early 1930s’ Berlin. Likewise, Trump appears to be fighting the excesses of cultural Marxism. Hitler surrounded himself with a clique of petty-bourgeois amateurs (and sycophants) whose sole common goal was: total power. Same with Trump. In Hitler’s Germany, the process of forcibly “unifying” everything and everybody under “Ein Volk, Ein Reich, Ein Führer,” was known as “Gleichschaltung.” Before long, the same thing might come to pass in Trump’s America, whatever the maxim will be to describe it. Hitler – all instinct and appetite – was playing with hypnotic images to mesmerise the crowds. So is Trump, even though his oratical skills are certainly much more limited. Hitler had his luxurious estate far away from the capital, on the Obersalzberg in the Berchtesgaden Alps. Trump, notoriously, flies back and forth between Washington, D.C., and his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida. Hitler was seeking to build an empire (all the way, as he was hoping, to ultimate world dominion). Trump now seems to be holding similar ambitions. Hitler may have been the original, and Trump may only be a cheap (Moscow-controlled) copy, still, the parallels are frightening. One way or another, America stands on the brink of either outright annihilation, or a very sinister prelude to the same by way of all-out totalitarianism (which not even Obama accomplished).
Needless to add, both movements were “nationalist”, which is why Trump’s MAGA train might at some point do away with the Republican label altogether and call itself, suitably so, the “National Socialist American Workers’ Party” …
I shudder to think.
When I saw what Trump was doing in his second term, I could not help reaching for my copy of Voegelin’s “Hitler and the Germans.” And there is was, all outlined. I was deeply shaken by these similarities you listed. It is all too true. Disastrous people with disastrous policy ideas can cause a lot of death and loss.
A lot of disaffected socialist blue dog democrats in Trump camp. The Trump Brooklyn in the Bronx of course is notorious for creating group of operatives out of those who lost in the gang wars of the Bronx, demoralized by the demolitions. Hitler did take advantage of German anxiety. I do not think it is as bad with Trump, as there is other players that do not share this in his camp, and so the situation is more negotiated and not as weak and insecure as Hitler the emasculated women educated painter… Now his son Baron would be the one to watch…
Sadly and tragically, Joachim C. Fest (1926 – 2006) later, like most of his fellow Germans, fell for Gorbachev’s “reformist” lies, hook, line and sinker. In the interview below, there’s not the shadow of a doubt in Fest’s mind about the veracity of the “changes” in Eastern Europe and the Soviet Union of 1989/91 …
Otherwise, as for the German experience under Hitler, the conversation is nevertheless first-class (turn on English subtitles):
Excellent essay as usual, Jeff. You nailed the uniquely perverse idiocy of Trump and his supporters.
Regarding the ‘Bowling Pin Admin’ theory. You recently said that while the Democrats and the left were the party of slow surrender, the MAGA/Republicans have overtaken them as the party of fast surrender. At the rate the Trump Admin is going, we might even call them the party of quick self-decapitation. And there is no coming back from that. So why would the Russians and Chinese interrupt MAGA’s fit of self-destructive rage to resurrect the party of slow surrender? Why would they want the Democrats to take back Congress in 2026 when the Trump Admin is giving them everything they want on a silver platter? In the March 28 Anti-Communist Conference Trevor said that if the Dems impeach Trump, America would become a communist country. But if America is slated for extermination, why do the Russians care if it becomes a left-wing communist country first?
We’ve seen the true grotesque face of the Trump Admin in the infamous Oval Office meeting on Feb 28, and since then the dark ideological undercurrents of Russian-led MAGA have been coming more and more into focus. And yet, even as Russia is getting ready to invade Poland and the Baltics in as little as 6 months, you and Trevor seem more worried that the Democrats will parlay this into a mid-term victory 18 months from now. Assuming America survives that long if Europe falls. And if Europe doesn’t fall completely, why would Russia want to remove the obstacle to Europe and America becoming allies again? I don’t understand this.
With all the hints and allusions about establishing an American-style absolute monarchy coming from the MAGA camp, and from Trump himself, who’s to say that the Democrats will ever again hold power at the national level. Trump and his people are painting themselves into such a corner that they can’t afford to give up power. If the Dems retake Congress and Trump just ignores them, what will they do about it? If they impeach Trump, what then? With most of the Republicans and MAGA standing behind him, who will dare to physically remove Trump & co. from power? The large majority of Republicans are marching in lockstep and getting behind Trump’s insane rhetoric, even though they are smart enough to know that the unfolding economic chaos will destroy the Republican Party. So in a way they’re already admitting that the next election won’t matter. And no matter what happens, Trump will retain the MAGA core as long as he keeps beating up on the pro-migrant transgender left (bonus points if he bullies Greenland into submission). The evil ‘globalists’ will be blamed for the economic downfall and conservatives will believe it.
As for Democrats being too quiet instead of screaming from the rooftops, I agree it’s suspicious. But not for the same reasons that you are saying. The Democrats are likely getting bad advice from their communist “friends”, just as they did when they replaced Biden with Kamala Harris, ie. the weakest possible Democratic candidate. They may be told that a stupendous political victory awaits them if they just wait long enough for the Trump Admin to completely crash and burn. But that doesn’t mean they will get their victory. It might be that the Democrats are being set up for failure, which is ironic since you assume that’s the plan for pro-Russia MAGA.
I think we forget that the Communist powers manipulate both the left and the right, and wrongly assume that the left will always be the golden child. It’s this partisanship that led us to completely misjudge what was going on with the MAGA right. Too many misinterpreted the Russian takeover of MAGA as an irrelevant distraction, or as merely a ploy to discredit conservatives and grab more power for the left. At least until Feb 28, most of us failed to see it for what it now clearly is –an advancement of the Communist pre-war plan to split the West and isolate the US. Did the Russians put so much effort into winning over the American right just so the whole house of cards could be neatly rolled up 2 years into Trump’s 2nd term? Did they really do all that so that the “anti-Russia” Democrats could come back with a vengeance, and be forced by a furious American public to really make good on their anti-Russia rhetoric? I’m not so sure. I think the Communist powers would at least want a civil war for their effort, maybe Democrat governors versus the Trump White House. But so far the Democrats are not doing their part. So I don’t know. America is not just another country like Brazil, it’s the linchpin of the Western world order. It’s not appropriate to assume that MAGA will go the same way as Bolsonaro’s conservatives, who were misled by their leader only to be rounded up and crushed by a much more powerful left. What is happening with American conservatives is about Russia achieving certain geopolitical goals, not so much about setting up conservatives for political destruction since MAGA conservatism already largely aligns with Russian talking points. A logical follow-through of the MAGA/Trump/Hitler “icebreaker of the revolution” parallel would dictate that Putin no more wants Trump to be deposed than Stalin would have wanted Hitler to be deposed in 1939.
Unfortunately for the West, Dark MAGA might prove to be as tenacious and hard to beat as its Russian master.
Yes! I was thinking about the abandonment of the Democratic Party by certain ambitious people after hearing an interview with Lindy Li. She is a leftist who joined the Republicans. This is what we are seeing. My nightmare question: Are key agents of Russian and China pouring into MAGA to ensure its suicidal momentum? Are defections from the Democrats a sign?
Well, if the KGB didn’t have prominent positions within the Republican or any other somewhat right-wing party, how would the Soviet strategy of communist takeover progress so far, and how would it be possible for it to remain undetected – OR to say it more realistically, set aside as no longer important or plausible – because communism collapse, right ?
They need this controled opposition and without it they would be met with truly anticommunist opposition which KGB Moscow Mafia of atheistic criminals doesn’t desire at all…and this is all worked out long ago, these are the strategic moves of the Stalinist fanatics from 1950s, those who were in charge of the policy which Golitsyn warned about, today these are their successors who do meticulously implement this communist strategy because at the end is the victory of communism and nothing less.
Q: But if America is slated for extermination, why do the Russians care if it becomes a left-wing communist country first?
Answer:
The more they implement communist policies and brainwash the target population into accepting them, the less they have to deal with it later on, in regards to the remnant slaves, and the more the slaves are susceptible to convergence and conversion to this communist ideology, which, in the minds of these communist criminals is a very significant point they don’t like to leave untouched.
And their subversive scheme precedes the clenched fist revolution – always.
About the left: I’m sure it’s that they (or at least the overwhelming majority) don’t have real, actual principles as opposed to just a will to absolute power with a friendly face. Bezemenov’s “political prostitutes” was a very apt description. While most will, of course, be slaughtered by the PLA should everything (Lord forbid) go according to the communist plan, you have a LOT of people in that crowd, just like with the scamdemic, who would gladly sell out everything, including their “principles” for even a crumb of power over other human beings.
Consider everything it took to get to the right to this point: Literal decades of propaganda, deep-cover agents, countless big-and-small name shills, and finally, a decade of intense demoralization capped off by a mass psychological warfare campaign disguised as a “pandemic response.” And even still, it hasn’t managed to capture ALL of the right.
Exactly right. The process is only partially successful.
Outstanding essay as always, Jeff. I think you really might be one of the only Westerners who truly understands the communists’ plans.
Laura’s comment reminded me of a question I’ve been meaning to ask you (and everyone reading, actually). Has anyone else concluded that the assas$ination attempt on Trump in Pennsylvania was in fact staged? And that all the lawfare was in fact intended to fail and give him a boost in the polls? (James Comey speculated as to the latter. I did not think he was right at the time, since China was behind it.)
Jeff, if you do think the assas$ination attempt in PA was staged, do you suspect that Russia, China or Iran was behind it? (I realize that ultimately Russia was probably the mastermind, but curious to know if you think they likely worked through Iran or China.)
I do not think the assassination was staged. Such a staging came too close to killing Trump.
Interesting. I really don’t know what to think. It did appear that several shots were fired that missed Trump before his ear was hit, which to me indicates that whoever fired the shots (if not Crooks) might have been firing (moving towards him) until they barely grazed the side of Trump’s face. The lax security situation during the campaign also remains suspicious. But it’s impossible to know for sure. It definitely wouldn’t surprise me. Everything going on is so unbelievable that nothing would really surprise me at this point.
If it was staged, it certainly was a great way to guarantee Trump’s election. As was the lawfare. Since it appears Russia also controls Vance, perhaps they decided it was worth the risk, to ensure Harris’ defeat? Then if Trump became collateral damage, Vance could still de facto withdraw us from NATO. But one of them would be elected, whatever happened.
Those are my thoughts. Perhaps you are right, though, and Crooks was just a lone wolf.
It was obviously Crooks being a bad shot.
Whatever happened, the Russians probably couldn’t believe their good fortune.
A good rule of thumb is never to assume conspiracy when stupidity and carelessness are better explanations. Going back to the Kennedy assassination, there were terrible foul-ups on the part of the Secret Service and the Dallas PD, not to mention Kennedy’s decision to ride in an open air convertible, that made him an easy mark for Lee Harvey Oswald. With the attempt on Trump’s life in Pennsylvania, the Secret Service and local police were careless. The difference is that Oswald had Marine training and Crooks did not, fortunately for Trump.
Security and body-guarding is one of the hardest jobs because of the care and attention to detail. It is exhausting, and mistakes are easy to make. Yes. The Kennedy assassination conspiracy hounds are a good example of people with very little taste for the prosaic truth.
Do not forget that the snipper might have been a computer, a robot programed and locked on Trump’s ear so that the shot wouldn’t miss, the technology is today so progressed and then it was also suggested by some that there may have been 2 shooters.
Nevertheless Trump survived, and the only ones who could have pulled this off, staging it, had to be government trained specialists and not some isolated young leftist brainwashed man, who in fact was evidently used, if this is correct, as a decoy, for which he paid with his own life.
Which would suggest that the Secret Service is highly penetrated by communist assets, which wouldn’t be the only US agency, right ? Moreover their expertize comes from their highly skilled and extremely experienced KGB masters, who know very well how to do such evils and for many years past they have done so, they seldom miss…
Yes, and there’s also the theory that he was never even hit but had a capsule of stage blood that he smeared onto his ear as it happened. I laughed when I first heard Democrats elaborating on this theory, but now in light of all that’s happened with Zelenskyy and NATO, I’m revisiting it myself.
That of itself would seem more on the improbable side, when you consider that the one who brought it up was the FBI boss (with the CCP connections) Wray, then it would seem that he was trying to cover up the truth or make it more obscure so that then it would be more difficult to believe anything but what they wanted people to believe, which is the “official story” – Crooks. And that way anything else would be branded as alongside what Wray was pushing, and obviously as marginal and improbable – which is the ultimate objective and result such schemes are designed to create. And since the result is what evils Trump is pushing now, and the beneficiaries are the KGB criminals in the Kremlin etc., then it follows from it that something more specialized had to be done, and moreover, Trump is not such a deep believer in Divine intervention as he shows himself to be after the PA attempt, which only creates for him more of an (artificial) credibility – and yes, it was that necessary step to get him inside the WH, and it worked. It does sound as a conspiracy theory, and then if there were none, how could then the true analysis be fruitful – without speculations, and when the beneficiaries are the Russian and Chinese Bolsheviks (let’s face it, they know that if they hit the US with nuclear etc. attacks that Trump is the perfect man not to retaliate – if he lives that long…), then of course the role of the “deal-maker” takes on much higher and more important meaning – he is there is betray, to destroy, to help and establish, and all this in the name of this satanic communist cause. ANY means they will employ, and they don’t mind blowing up somebody’s brains out, even if that person was their most important asset, they will take that risk if necessary – and in this case, as the result is that they will take over the whole world, it was necessary. That’s how evil they truly are !
Have to make a correction – Wray brought up the FBI fabrications that Trump was not hit by a bullet but by a debree of some sort, don’t remember the exact details, but the principle of speading these ideas is the same – to create confusion so that nobody would consider all the important posibilities. That of itself suggests that only professionals were and are involved, both to execute it and to spead the afterward propaganda “conclusions” about it.
No. Not a robot.
Why not, the technology is there, it exists, all they have to do is to sight it and make sure it locks on the target and that’s it – and they were willing to take the risk, apparently.
It may not be exactly the case, it is only a possibility, but these people are fanatics and they don’t mind even dying for their evil cause, it is truly the devil in them that rules their perverted minds to go that far and try all such like things. It may sound as a conspiracy theory but at this point they want exactly that to be, and yet the means do exist, and moreover these are speciallists. A proffesional sniper can do it too, they have lasers and so on…it is not impossible, not any more.
Not a robot. This was the MO of communist, ie creating pink terrorism the way we had grey terror on 911. The left creates these sort of “fertile” social grounds where terrorists self grow and adopt various ideo-pathologies manufactured in Soviet Universities. We cannot think schizophrenic technically oriented like that. That is not how gangsters cover their butts. The enemy knows it has to deal with a technical industrial ability deficiency, actually. It uses sociology in perverse ways and litigation.
The real irony, the real AI bot in this, is that the left and billionaires who hate Trump are emboldened to justify this attack on Trump, to feel victims of it, to seek to use it to further litigate and get repent out of Trump and out of America. When the litigation should be going the opposite way. The real “robots” to look for are the bureaucratic automatisms and ideology in the courts, the brainwashed cops etc. all these schizophrenics.
So you are saying that while somebody brings up the already advanced technology in regards to the potential of using stationery rifle mounted with advanced electronics and optics, somewhere near, or even in a car with remote controled windows, and opens up the window at the time of executing the attempt, from a distance by using a laptop and special software etc,, which the KGB etc. most certainly already has, and laser guiding system etc,, that to mention this fact that the technology already exists that of itself could be construed as “schizophrenia” and so on – this sounds way tooooo familiar, way tooo familiar.
Certain ideas and potential opinions, when expressed, are undesirable by the enemies to be mentioned, not that these ideas and opinion may be the case, but that such means do exist and may be used in the future OR have been already used in the past, by the professionals – i.e. KGB etc. active measures directorate.
Of course they prefer poisons and so on, but this way the effect was that Trump was to survive and gain much more popularity, which has happened. For such a highly sophisticated scheme they need advanced technology, like they have the drones now for military warfare, and so don’t say that this is not plausible as that would only serve them, not the truth and potential analysis what is going on and why.
And BTW, nobody said that this is exactly how it happened, but that the possibility exists and shouldn’t be discarded just because it “may sound conspiratorial”….
And who you think the beneficiaries of such misdirecting conclusions are now ?
Jeff, do you have any thoughts on the firings of Gen. Timothy Haugh and now Vice Admiral Shoshana Chatfield? Are these firings strategic?
I do not know yet.
I had my concerns before he was elected, saying he expedited the vaccine for use and next he is even going to cure cancer. We all know the vaccine was garbage, but when it came voting time we were put into a no/win scenario. I have been watching what kind of fruit comes out of this. I have been curiously reading your essays and everyone’s comments.
Everything is so interesting, Wasteland, and also a bit scary.
In regards to some points in the article – psychiatry is a semi-false and highly abused “science” which allows subjective opinions to be taken as the guiding principles and outright factual statements or judgments about the mind of a person, which then could be used as a very serious weapon against anybody, and the communists have abused this pseudo-science for decades.
In terms of the Catholic moral teology, in this above described sense, it is absolutely contrary to the doctrine of the Church, and it, psychiatry, in its limited medical sphere, as when it truly remains in that sphere of medical field and not the characterization of the mind and intelect, which, this latter, is and will be subjective opinion and thus potentially erroneous, and nothing else.
In regards to Mr. Trump, one should be careful not to suggest too much in this regard, and with the view of the analysis which does take into context that these ideas of Trump may be supplied by Moscow as they are in alignment with the Russian communist strategy, on many points.
True, Mr. Nyquist didn’t suggest that Trump is somewhat mentally deficient but the suggestion of the psychiatric phenomenon of some sort, or malady perhaps, justifies this posting as well, because for one more important detail which often remains very much hidden – and this for obvious reason – the supernatural powers of the devil, which he uses to subject the mind and intellect of the targeted soul to the devil’s will, which no human soul, without the Divine help of God, can resist and be sufficiently protected against. It is called diabolical possession.
The devil is capable of possessing the mind with such force that he can, by permission from God, transform a perfectly respectable person into a true monster and a criminal, with evils accomplished that none can comprehend, and so when it comes to this very fact that, as it appears, Mr. Trump may have been for decades, and willingly so, part of the KGB strategy, that of itself is the indicator that the ideological allignment with the communists is the reality in his case, and not only his case at that.
It is oftentimes very difficult to establish the diabolical influence because the devil in his cunningness hides his strategems under the auspices of human explanation, which then limits the reality to that level only, but the reality remains that the devil is using such tools of his evils to accomplish his schemes and destroy all that still remains just and good, which includes genuine justice and so on.
Mr. Loudon asked in one of the videos about the KGB officer from Kazakhstan who claimed that Trump is a KGB agent, and why would they allow something like this to “leak out” so to say, and what is the purpose that somebody who, apparently, might still be involved with the KGB, would dare to sabotage such an important and evidenly ongoing operation ?
Well, the answer is obvious – it is the KGB reverse psychology again, they either are testing the waters, whether and if people would react to such news at all, and also that they are prepared to discredit this KGB agent with beforehand prepared “data” which would thus publicly discredit the whole thing about Trump, once and for all – but the KGB is not yet releasing this discrediting information because so far, there is no need to do so.
Moreover, Trump is serving his purpose and does exactly what Moscow wants, and this way he is only reminded that they can blow his cover very quickly if they needed to do so, and that he would then be in lot of legal trouble, having the charge of treason over his head…and he knows that, but he also agreed to help them a long time ago…based on the fact that he was willing to travel to 1980s communist Russia and have meeting in the Kremlin, which, if Trump was such a right-wing conservative mind as they present him today, then that would be a major contradiction, and quite frankly today unsustainable at all…
Lee Wheelbarger reposted this on X regarding Ukraine. Not sure how significant it is but thought I’d share just in case:
“Leaked Russian docs for an attack in 3 weeks.”

There is yet another red flag about Trump that keeps poping up – and it is about the role of that Humgarian woman that “invented” the toxic jab, which Trump promoted while he already knew about the DARPA report favoring the pills as Ivermectin and so on.
The point is this – if Trump was truly interested in remedying this fiasco as people are injured and even died because of this toxic bio-weapon, and this woman was definitelly the one who came up with that toxic invention and she is now back in her native Hungary and protected by the Putin friend Orban and she is teaching on some College there (imagine this, INSTEAD of getting all the good fame and being honored as the US citizen and scientist in Philadelphia where she llived), why is there no investigation into this by Trump’s DOJ and her connections to the Communist Party and even GRU military bio-chem reasearch before she was allowed to leave by the communists to the US – which, BTW, took place extremely fast…
And so it would be interesting to ask Dr. Li-Meng Yan as a scientist about this “former communist” scientist Katalin Karikó woman and the CCP ingredients “vaccine formula” she invented…and why it is that there is no investigation of this evidently communist (Russian and Chinese, both) bioweapon and those who invented it for that purpose.
A true leader would not put his head into the sand and would have pursued the truth no matter how many people and countries get offended – and that she left the US and is back and protected in Russia friendly Orban’s environment is the more suspicious, her as the Nobel Prize winner and so on…

So she is enjoying life and people are dead because of her work…and yes, she was a member of the Hungarian communist Academy of Sciences….which was under GRU command, as in any and all Soviet Bloc countries…
A couple examples of Trump’s understanding of history:

Trump’s speeches are more and more deranged.
Do you think Ivana’s claims to her lawyer are true, that Trump kept “Mein Kampf” and Hitler’s speeches on his nightstand?
This is interesting – and may serve also as a potential and additional indication that his role, as far as the KGB is concerned, was and is part of the overall Russian communist strategy and overall propaganda to cover up the real culprits and point towards the “NAZIs”, as Putin has done in case of Ukraine, and this may be a very well elaborated strategy, of which result sought by Moscow would be to pain the US as a NAZI country and thus, especially among and toward such long-term brainwashed and perverted Russian people would have the much sought path presented by the KGB Kremlin to follow – so as a small matter it may seem now, it in fact might be if huge implication.
News now:
WH press briefing – watch from this point onward, Iran talks (i.e. dialog with Russian communist controlled terrorist government), and then the China tarrifs, and how Trump would like to have a good relationship with these CCP criminals. So the overall analysis stands about Trump.
https://youtu.be/RP0JbwaXJeY?t=1241
Why would she lie?
Not sure what that means, she reported what the official (approved) position is.
The point is that such like official policy is in agreement with the Moscow policy and strategy and a very helpful to the communist cause. Dialogue with a Moscow controlled terrorist government, which by all indication shouldn’t even be regarded as legitimate because of that Iranian revolution which overthrew a legitimate monarchy, that of itself is a major failure and in fact a betrayal of moral values – a term that has lost its meaning a very long time ago in the western hemisphere, observing the wicked policies of appeasement of the Bolshevik illegitimate governments – so the WH press office is just echoing the overall and widely accepted moral perversion and decadent failure, nothing else, which Trump himself demonstrated with Zelenskiy and continues to do so ever since towards Ukraine.
Just re-read the question and realized that you meant Ivana and the Mein Kampf and Trump – nobody says she lied, but that she meantioned it, and so even if she did lie, that lie didn’t come from her own desire to smear Trump, but it was evidently crafted somewhere else and for that purpose to start painting America as a NAZI run country – which, if this is the case, which this opinion evaluates, then that would mean a major part of the potential Russian military excuse for an attack against the US, as Putin was saying the same thing to justify Moscow’s attack against Ukraine, besides that Ukraine wouldn’t be allowed to join NATO….so the Russian propaganda has to be satisfied by such like preparatory stages, of which this one about Ivana and the alleged Mein Kampf information, may play a very significant part after all.
Just thought of something else, and perhaps even more significant than it meets the eye – what if the source of that information is Moscow-tainted, and Ivana can no longer confirm or refute that information, and it also seems highly improbable that she would disclose such a highly problematic information to the public, while she maintained that they are stil friends with Trump…so that gives an idea, a truly conspiratorial one at that, that she may have been disposed of for that Kremlin propaganda NAZI angle as well, so that none of this could be refuted in the future when that Moscow deception could be actively utilized as Putin used it against Ukraine…
But this is only a speculation, nothing more.
There is more on this – there was an issue with Steve Bannon and Musk allegedly both using the NAZI salute somewhere, which report was of course exaggerated and taken somewhat out of context, but the reason why it was published in the leftist media seems now much more clearer…and this is why.
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/steve-bannons-salute-at-cpac-conference-resembles-elon-musk/vi-AA1zxDxz
They are truly trying to pain the US (and perhaps even the EU “right-wing”) as NAZIs so that when they, the KGB Kremlin, present this fabricated lie to the Russian people, already brainwashed by years of communist indoctrination, the more they will gain their support in fighting the “American and European Nazi governments and countries”…
The KGB doesn’t even care how exactly this will be received by the ordinary Russian people, but what they can use as enforcing them to fight for the “Motherland” and why…and the communist worldwide cause gets a major boost this way, as the result.
It seems more and more KGB propaganda choreographed deception, and the usual players involved in it, under careful KGB planning of course.
My point is: Trump probably was studying Hitler. Probably he admires Hitler, since we know he admires dictators.
Strongly doubt that it goes that far because Trump is not supporting this opinion with deeds, he is trying to get the government out of the lives of the ordinary people, so it looks like, and to cut the bureaucratic red tape, which of course is contrary to the National Socialism ideology which is socialist in its nature. But he has to obey orders, if he is whom he seems to be, so the controlled opposition has to keep up the appearance as much as possible, this is one of them. He doesn’t fit the profile of a committed dictarot either, but that of itself could also be a game played for the time being, and of course, he will not have the final say but the Kremlin bosses will.
So you think Ivana was lying. Ergo my question: Why would she lie?
Jeff, for future reference I believe it was Ivana who said this, not Ivanka.
Yes, it was Ivana.
This is very tricky. If she was part of the foreign espionage directorate then it was all set up long ago, which points to the KGB as they are this thorough and precise.
If somebody else made that assertion while she is dead now and cannot say anything about it nor refute it, then it is still in their favor to paint America as NAZI run county.
One has to be careful about Ivana, because there are certain limits a woman would not cross, although one may think that since the order comes people have to obey them without questions, and so this is evidently not something spontaneous on her part if she was truly making that statement, which in all probability she perhaps not even made it…
But the overall result is what counts, no matter how exactly it was set up and yes, it is very important for the Russians and yes, they used it against Ukraine.
To add – yes, it sounds confusing, but it points to the carefully crafted operation and so if she was part of it, then the statement was perhaps correct and from her, yet they choose to hold it until she was dead so that she wouldn’t be able to deny it and discredit it, evidently there was something with her they didn’t like and probably quit trusting her – i.e. that would be the reason (perhaps), besides that main one her as the 1987 Kremlin visit witness, why she “fell” down the stairs in her own home….
I posted a second one, which was a pertinent example of his lack of knowledge or understanding of history, but it has disappeared twice.
Jeff, did you think it was not a good example, or did WordPress kick it out for some reason?
I don’t know I am at the gym. What happened?
That answers my question. I’ll try it again.
It’s some kind of a glitch. I just can’t believe Trump’s ignorance of basic historical events. It’s beyond astounding.
I don’t know if anyone here is at all familiar with the late Southern comedian Jerry Clower, but when I listen to a lot of things Trump and Vance say, I feel like the guy in Clower’s coon hunting story. He climbed up in a tree to throw the raccoon out, but it turned out it was a bobcat, and the guy had his hands full with it. He yelled back down to his buddies, “Just shoot up here amongst us, one of us has got to have some relief!!”
Trump talking about the Civil War? It’s not his subject, to be sure.
I found one in my spam folder. I approved it.
Thank you. It may be posted twice now, as I just tried it again.
In terms of the tarrifs, in all fairness, if Trump would call these leaders of such various countries and told them that if they have reciprocal no tarrifs between their countries that it would benefit both and all economies, BUT in case of these communist countries which use communist slave labor, this is yet another morally wrong and evil mentality, which betrays the communist scheme, on part of Trump, because instead of cutting them off completely because they are atheistic communist criminals and want to destroy liberty of conscience around the world and take over the whole world with their evil atheistic communist tyranny, no free country may collaborate with these communist criminals and help them to continue their evils by doing business with them – and he’s not willing to do that, on the contrary, he’s allowing them to continue, by supporting them with the access to the US markets, which is a horrible moral evil that is not going to remain unanswered when they begin their march for victory – and that is exactly what they will do.
The shortsighted mentality and a complete disregard of the truth about these communist enemies of God, on part of Trump, adds to the overall picture and analysis about him.
But by far the worst reason why he looks like a long-term KGB asset, is the fact that he allowed that KGB asset Biden to take over and for 4 years Biden was destroying the country and cripling and demoralizing not only the ordinary citizens but also the military – and this intentional destructive delay will become very costly – and there remains to be seen yet the results which Trump has vowed to implement, whether they will be implemented (nuclear deterrent and so on), which looks like Biden was sabotaging successfully. And no charge of treason and electoral fraud for that communist stooge by Trump’s DOJ, which shows that it is only (what they call) a window-dressing, and nothing more.
“Unprecedented number of B-2 bombers amassed for Iran strike”
https://www.kenklippenstein.com/p/pentagon-prepares-for-trump-to-go
Yes, there have been people predicting for awhile now an attack as early as April based on US military movements in the region. It is now being publicized and discussed. With all these bombers in place it looks like the April timetable is probably true.
Lee Wheelbarger just told me that Russia has shipped nuclear warheads to Iran.
Bolton explaining Trump’s reasoning today.
“I worked for Donald Trump. This is the key to understanding him
It’s not about America, and there’s no connection to the real world”
However, neither Trump supporters nor opponents perceived his obsession with resuming his personal friendship with Vladimir Putin. To Trump, good personal relations between leaders signify good relations between their countries, an enormously oversimplified view of the world.
“Trump can’t tell US friends from its enemies, either politico-militarily or economically, and doesn’t seem to care. What matters are Trump’s friends and enemies, which are manifestly not the same as the America’s.”

Trump has no intellectual maturity.
The latest from Valeriy Solovey, who claims to have insider information, on why Trump hadn’t imposed sanctions on Russia. The following are some summaries of Solovey’s words:
Trump expects Russia to stop the war. But in the meantime he is discussing with them business collaboration. These business projects include something with rare minerals extraction, some joint ventures in Arctic region and most importantly, USA as a middleman would be selling Russian gas and oil to Europe with huge profits.
USA would be happy to lift sanctions against Russia, but Europe is not. That is why Trump is asking Russia to stop the war, so that he could ask Europe to lift sanctions. Russia on the other hand wants sanctions to be lifted before they stop the war. And because Trump is not ready to talk to Europe about that, Russia is preparing an escalation to strengthen their negotiation position. (I personally do not see much logic in this). And they are planning something big to test eastern NATO borders. He repeated several times that offensive is going to be very big. Solovey said that Russia is starting to prepare population before that offensive on TV. (I browsed some open sourced looking for that, but no luck yet.)
Solovey insists that Trump is not a Russian agent. Illarionov by the way as well doesn’t believe that. When I think about it, I agree. Because so much effort had been put into winning Trump over. Also would you call Putin your friend, if you are his agent? Usually people say that about somebody who they want to win over. Illarionov also thinks that Trump is afraid of Putin. But Russians have been really good in planting their ideas in Trump’s brain. I wonder if it is a coincidence that Trump first mentioned triffs in 1988, soon after visiting Russia. Narcissists are easily manipulated if you get them to believe that they have been wronged or taken advantage of.
I hope to get access to the recording of the closed meeting of Solovey with his subscribers, held on April 3. In that meeting he disclosed to the viewers a lot more details about possible attack on NATO’s Eastern borders. What countries would be attacked and some more. But seeing the map of Lee Wheelbarger, we can have a pretty good idea. It’s just interesting to me that after watching that video I see the first confirmation of those plans in Russian speaking public space.
It was explained to me by a GRU defector that a U.S. President can never be considered an agent. They consider him only a “friend.” This is a very strict thing. Even if someone was an agent, they make it clear to him that he is under no obligation to them when he is presidnet. There is a very good reason for this. Someone who has nuclear weapons, whether an agent or not, should never be pressured in that way. It could backfire.
But his case is somewhat different, because of the already established consent he gave to that evil cause by supporting it – although people don’t see it that way, but it was Trump who signed the infamous $ 50 BILLION agricultural deal with China in his 1st term, and it was Trump who did almost nothing when KGB asset Biden rob him of the presidency, so then it is for the cause at the end, and so all much work for that cause and so Moscow knows that ideologically Trump is a friend, and yes, if there was any even the slightest breach of security in their KGB plans regarding him, 200 people or more would be executed in Moscow for that breach and without a blink of an eye.
He may not be listed as an agent (although all things are possible), but he helps them to continue, and publicly stated that he wants to have a good relationship with Russia – so Trump doesn’t see Putin as an enemy after all, and all this is choreographed very precisely and carefully so that nobody in the US begins to take notice.
And so the only ones who address this are the already discredited leftists voices, which is the objective to make it look like Trump is not an agent, but the evil tree still bears evil fruits favoring the communist cause at the end. There is no change, Trump remain on that evil path, for the cause and nothing but the cause….communist victory that is.
And so of course Moscow will let out through such sources that Trump is not an agent, because they don’t want to wake up people to realize that he believes in the communist cause, but you see, God Himself does not allow him to deceive nor pretend, as all this is vissible, they just want to interpret it in their own terms so that the deception stands, and it will not stand as the truth matters – Trump is helping them by such evil deeds in Moscow’s favor, and that is the proof he is one of them, as has been already documented previously. Too many huge red flags in his regard.
Makes no difference if he’s an agent or not. Same net effect.
No difference to me as well. I mentioned it only in passing. More important to me is the fact that they started to talk openly about attacking eastern NATO borders. And how Trump still has business interests with Russia. Is it all that concerns him? That is a very sociopathic behavior.
Trump has demonstrated his nature. We cannot unsee it.
It’s terrifying to think through which news stories about Trump might have been true since 2016. (I initially dismissed most as “fake news” or TDS.) Was there veracity in everything that John Bolton claimed, I wonder?
This narcissist really might lead the country off a cliff if he thought it would impress someone. And he seems to want to impress Putin and Xi the most!
This scary to realize who we have.
Just to mention this – it makes a great difference whether he is or is not a KGB agent.
If he’s not, they are taking a great risk (which their policy of recruitment BTW forbids to be done), because then Trump can turn against them and they won’t be able to do anything about it, except perhaps if they would succeed to kill him (and blame it on MAGA for example, that would be the KGB style).
If he is, and this opinion is supported by the already presented analysis about him, then he has NO CHOICE but to obey the KGB commands and he is not permitted to deviate from them and make his own decisions, he has to strictly adhere to what he is told to do, nothing else. They don’t tolerate any independent actions as all execution of the communist strategy is controlled by Moscow and all commands come from there.
You can read the Congressional testimony of Gen. Sejna on that subject, he said this exact same thing. Once a person is their’s, he is in and cannot do anything else but to follow orders to the letter, and there is no escape from the KGB tentacles except in a wooden coffin – or even without a coffin….but dead anyway.
Golitsyn said it in his book how they burned Penkivskiy alive and filmed it and were (still are no doubt) showing that to the KGB recruits what will happen if they will decide to defect or betray the cause…
Trump’s 1987 Kremlin visit was the time when he most likely learned all these points and the only witness of what exactly took place, Ivana (with the STB communist foreign espionage file), is no longer with us, she “fell” down the stairs in her own NYC home….and so nobody can explain what exactly took place back then – and so this has the KGB calling card all over it – and Trump fulfills the biblical verse “by their fruits ye shall know them” explicitly….
BTW, when Ivana got the Plaza Hotel in NYC as part of the divorce settlement, there was a report that one summer there were Czech technicians and such like workers working in that hotel…”fixing it”… (It was distinctly mentioned that this was going on, but the article is probably gone by now, it was one of the New Yorker type magazines online – don’t remember if this is exactly correct about the name of that magazine.)
[…] von Jeff Nyquist […]
At the end of the last blog, Anthony Lu posted the link to a video (https://rumble.com/v6r9aow-4-us-troops-dead-in-lithuania.-russian-buildup-in-baltics.-eu-tell-populati.html). I watched it starting at the 31-minute mark. If things are as they appear, then Russia is indeed very strong.
A few thoughts and questions came to mind after watching the video:
1. It seems very strange that they would visibly position an SS-27 near the front weeks or months before an attack. This is a very dangerous weapon and would almost certainly be an initial target. In fact, it so potentially dangerous, if an invasion were imminent, I would expect Poland to conduct a preemptive strike to take it out. This is a mobile version of the SS-27. I don’t know the park to launch time, but I would expect it to be on the order of hours. It seems to me that the most logical way to deploy it would be to hide it out of sight and then bring it out to fire just before the invasion under the cover of night. Is there an operational reason to deploy it weeks or months before an invasion or are they trying to achieve a psychological/political effect?
2. They have a saying, “When you are weak, appear to be strong. When you are strong, appear to be weak.” If Russia is so strong, then why are they not hiding that strength? If they were planning to invade Europe, would it not make more sense to look peaceful and weak, so that they could get the element of surprise? I understand that you cannot move everything into place at the last minute, but do you really want to bring your entire strategic bomber force to the front lines weeks or months before the battle?
I remember reading many years ago that during the early 1960’s, the Russians only had a very small number of bombers (perhaps only one). So, they would fly it where they knew a western observer would see it, land it, paint a new tail number on it, and repeat. By doing so they convinced America that there was a bomber gap.
During WW2, the allies created some ghost armies. During the build-up for the Normandy invasion, Patton commanded a ghost army stationed in England. As the allies were driving across Europe, a small detachment went with the troops and would set up a field of plywood tanks made to look like real tanks so that German reconnaissance pilots would see them and think a real army division was there.
Sam Faddis has said that because of institutional rot, we have minimal human sources (spies available and have become overly reliant on technical means such as image analysis. But there are many things you cannot tell from an image: Are the vehicles real and in good operational condition or plywood mock-ups? Are there people that go with the vehicles? What is the quality of the troops? etc.
Is it possible that we are observing a ghost army whose purpose is to create a psychological/political effect? (Of course, I am referring to the ground forces. The air forces, air defense forces, and strategic missiles forces have not had significant losses in Ukraine.) I am just throwing out a possibility. It is entirely possible they do have a strong ground force, but by so openly showing their strength, they are not operating the way I would expect.
3. If the ground forces are real, what condition are they in? In a recent post, Mosier said that Russia had suffered huge losses in their officer ranks. Are the troops in Belarus battle-hardened officers and soldiers or are they fresh recruits with newly minted officers? If they have a lot of foreign troops, how well are the integrated with the Russians? May not make much of a difference if you are feeding them into a meat grinder, but if you are trying to drive across Europe, not having good integration could be disastrous?
4. Is German intelligence reliable, or have they been heavily infiltrated by communists from the former East Germany? Would they be willing to announce a Russian invasion to help Russia gain a political effect?
5. Would the Russians start a new front while the war in Ukraine is still active? It seems risky. If they waited for a peace deal in Ukraine, they could transfer hardened soldiers into Belarus.
6. Would they want to wait to start an attack until one of their allis, say Iran or North Korea, started mischief to distract the US?
7. Would they drive deep into the heart of Europe? Again, it seems risky. Especially if they have green troops and foreign troops. The easiest objective appears to be to cut off the Baltics. The second easiest objective seems to be driving south to cut off Ukraine.
That is an SS-27 in the satellite image. We were able to count the wheels on it. And there is nothing too special about this. We discovered that President Lukashenko said that SS-27s would be moved into Belarus, so it is not all that surprising. Lukashenko never said when they would be moved in. In my opinion the SS-27 is not vulnerable because it is sitting in an S-400 site, with other S-400 sites all around it and interceptor bases in range. Besides, it is only one launcher. It’s not worth starting a war over one launcher when there are so many of these. The radar coverage of the area is intense. And besides, there are two more SS-27s hidden in bunkers somewhere nearby. Even if you attacked Russia preemptively, you would only be proving that NATO is an aggressive alliance that readily breaks international law. Russia could then smash Poland, which might forfiet its protection from the rest of NATO. Remember that NATO is a defensive alliance. If a NATO country starts a war with Russia, NATO countries may not feel obligated to help. Please remember that politicians can make very fine distinctions when they want a way of out of obligation. In my view, the Russians are perfectly safe deploying the way they are. Poland would not dare attack that SS-27. As I noted already, one launcher is nothing when there are three regiments of those things able to attack NATO. What did Dirty Harry say? “Make my day.”
https://x.com/RetroAgent12/status/1909335779589177811?t=jyM7wKAW6ZPY6hg-S7GHLA&s=19
Of course!
Jeff, DAL’s comment brings to mind another question I had. Would you say now that the primary objective of the war in Ukraine was to break up NATO? And that the most important secondary objective was to mobilize both troops & Russia’s defense industrial base (while still appearing weak)?
Or do you continue to believe that the Russians fully intended to invade much farther in 2022 and were stopped, even though the US still supported NATO and they had not yet fully mobilized?
They do use psychological warfare and it works really well for them, and don’t forget that the EU NATO countries are mostly run by KGB friendly (the least to say) people, who have the understanding and the marks of their previous and thus present alignment with the pro-communist cause, and so they have to be regarded as the controlled opposition, which means that Moscow doesn’t need to worry about the outcome.
They are usually escalating the situation to obtain the results, i.e. this seems like a nuclear blackmail of NATO, alongside a test of their own assets within the NATO leadership – and it was Trump himself who just recently called the NATO general secretary Rutte (with the WEF Comintern connections) a great man, so Russians don’t need to worry about such NATO leadership, it seems as very well designed for the ends, which would seem the NATO disunity and possible collapse, all pre-arranged as such by Moscow plans.
Gen. Sejna spoke about this in his book, and it is exactly what it looks like.
BUT one has to be careful not to leave out the military attack possibility, which is the objective after all anyway – they don’t want to be seen as bluffing, but all this has to look like it is for real, which it does look that way.
NATO nor the US are ready and Moscow knows it, and so does Beijing. That is the real problem.
If we look the opening events of the war, the Russians definitely thought they were going to roll over Ukraine. Most military analysts thought they would. The Chinese mobilization order of April 2022 also assumed Russian would win fairly quickly despite early setbacks.
The Russians lost because of poor leadership, poor training, and new factors in warfare that the Ukrainians — being the underdog — took advantage of. The Russians are good strategists, however, and turned their defeat into an opportunity for full war mobilization. NATO did not react to this, and Russian has gotten a tremendous advantage from the war that most do not yet realize. Was it planned? No. Like most wars, everything is based on your willingness to play the long game and turn defeats into victories. The Russians are very psychological in their strategy, and this is an example.
Russia traditionally performs quite badly in the first stages of a war. They improve, however, and are difficult to defeat in the long run. This is simply a national trait. In recognizing this about themselves, Putin’s generals made a very tough decision and stuck with it.
Let us see if they can turn their earlier humiliations into victory.
Russia has been killing and torturing captured Ukrainian soldiers, raping and mutilating Ukrainian women and children, bombing civilians, and kidnapping Ukrainian children for over three years now.
Some recent announcement by Russia that they will now treat all captured Ukrainian soldiers as terrorists unless they fight for them is laughable.
Ukraine is not going to join Russia. Not this generation.

Laughable? Well, it is a language for Russia to adopt Stalinism. If you do not fight for us and stay neutral or prisoner, you are actively an enemy attacking us! Even from your jail cell! To wit, the term antifa is a Soviet reappropriated terrorist term. Instead of calling German collaborating prisoners, Stalin called and praised as heroic the german scums who harassed and or denounced other germans in the camps Antifa (in opposition to soviet capos in german concentration camps cooperating with Nazis). These german scums were often motivated because they had committed war crimes and faced death penalty out west and in the soviet camp both. But Stalin sociologically embraced eventually the scummiest of cowardly criminal Nazi scums thus rewarded for denouncing actual good Weimar soldiers resisting the criminality of the Soviets, regardless ideologically aligned or not with Nazism.
Putin as a good little technically oriented schizophrenic lawyer, playing technicalities as a bureaucrat kitten himself, is creating languages for the next WWIII.
Should we also note that the Soviet camp sociology now forming much the sociology of modern Russia had actual German Nazi war criminals who tortured and genocided slavs promoted to keep on torturing slav Zeks in concentration camps accused of having “bourgeois reactionary” tendencies for survival trading on the black market a few basement grown potatoes for medicines. And so we have these weirdos like Dugin trying to self-rationalize this loss of self respect and it all with National Bolshevism chest pounding etc…
Pathetic, and this is who Tucker Carlson takes serious, absolute pathological basket cases, only useful to Putin until they are not in their jobs of fooling the west and stop producing enthusiasm.
The unity to resist communism comes from God and from nobody else. Let us hope that God will give it in due time, but at this point the unity to resist the overwhelming Russian force, while Moscow has such a huge help in Trump and so on, is realistically said very difficult to see. Let us hope that you are right, but hatred of evil is not enough to overcome it, there must be the supernatural unity among the righteous and that comes from God – and Ukraine has been brainwashed by communism for several decades, so this supernatural part is missing, at least partially, just like anywhere in the world including the US.
Concerned,
I know you and I would butt heads on many things regarding our faith, but I think we can allow each other freedom of conscience.
I know beyond doubt, and fully agree, that only God and His power can defeat Communism.
I know Ukraine has been brainwashed by Communism for several decades, and that this really degrades a people, as it has the Russians, whom I firmly believe can never recover themselves.
However, it seems to me that Ukraine never fully submitted to the USSR -that there was always a spark, and sometimes flames of resistance throughout its existence.
And those sparks seem to have been truly fanned into flames from 2005 on, and really growing into something serious from the Orange Revolution on.
Something so strong, that Russia would not even openly fight them from 2014 until the current invasion.
And now, their spirits have soared higher and higher as they have kicked Russia’s tail for over three years.
The only thing hurting them now is the Communists’ agents and helpers in America’s and Europe’s governments.
I just can’t give up hope for the Ukrainians. I will refuse to as long as it seems their spirits are not broken, and right now, they are not.
I hope they can win peace, though the odds seem to be growing against them.
Ultimately though, it’s as you said. Only God will destroy satanic Communism.
They are no longer truly Catholic as they used to be, especially those western parts of Ukraine that used to be part of Poland and Czechoslovakia, as they were truly Catholic and very good Catholics back when Stalin had stolen the region from these still free countries, with the treasonous help of Churchill and Roosevelt at Yalta.
But today, because the Catholic Church has been penetrated by communist agents and taken over by people as Bergoglio and his apostate cohorts, who are all excommunicated and not the Catholic Hierarchy nor members of the Catholic Church, the situation is much more different.
Nobody’s giving up the hope, and we pray for their conversion daily so that they too may become truly Catholic and obtain the mercy of God, but the damage is so great and so extensive that it is very difficult to imagine how exactly this will come about.
Of course they never liked Russians because of what Stalin did to Ukraine with that forced famine back then, they still remember it very well. Those of Polish background they remember the Katyn masacre and know all about it, and so they tasted their independence and they know that Putin and the KGB criminals want ot rob them of it, and annexe Ukraine back to Russia, hammer and sickle on the red flag as it used to be.
The situation is not hopeless, but very difficult, but God can do all things and perhaps He will have mercy on Ukraine, when the proper time comes. That’s all that can be said for now.
The Chechens also fought against the Russians in a terrible combate, 25 years ago. Today the Chechen Army is on Russia’s side. How does one explain this? Perhaps the Ukrainians will fight to the death and never surrunder. But in modern war, the side that loses generally surrenders its armies. The Germans and Japanese were certainly fanatical during World War II, especially the Japanese. And many Japanese committed suicide at the time of the surrender. There were fears that a massive wave of suicides would sweep over Japan. As we can see, these most dedicated of warriors, who often did fight to the last man — as testified by Japan’s combat records — surrendered by the millions. I do not believe Ukrainians are as fanatical as the Japanese were during World War II.
I know that war doesn’t work like it does in the movies. You don’t have to insult my intelligence, even if it’s not on the level of yours. I have studied some history.
It just seems to me, that the atrocities against the Ukrainians have been so tremendous, vile, and horrible, that they wouldn’t surrender, especially as we know that certain torture and death would befall the majority of those who are now in the field.
Would you have to be fanatical to choose between fighting to the death or surrendering and not only yourself being tortured and/or executed, but also knowing your surrendering will bring on the rape, torture, and even enslavement of your helpless women and children?
I get your points, and I know that is the lesson of history and human nature, and it’s true: the Japanese were extremely dedicated and fanatical -as much as or more than anyone.
But does it seem to you that the Ukrainians are fighting for higher ideals (on top of survival) than the Japanese could even attain to? The Japanese were brutal, vicious, cruel. Fighting for domination and devotion to their emperor.
Ukrainians are fighting for the survival and well-being of their people.
Maybe I’m reading them wrong, but I see them more as one large, extended family. At least, that’s the impression I get from perusing many of their social media and newssites.
And, strong families would prefer to die together before giving in and allowing someone to brutalize and murder some of the members.
This love and self-sacrifice seems to be a lot of the motivation for Ukrainians. This is a motive far greater than any of Hitler’s armies or the Japanese ever had.
You cannot be disillusioned of love and strong family bonds. You can eventually be disillusioned of emperor worship, or thinking you belong to the master race.
Am I wrong here?
I’m not saying they absolutely could never be forced to decide to give up. But, I think it would take vastly, tremendously more destruction and death to cause it to happen.
History is full of armies that surrender. In what war did 800,000 fight to the death? I cannot think of any offhand. All the countries conquered by the Nazis and communists fell by surrender. Which one fought to the death? So, I do not understand why you should deny this outcome for Ukraine if they lose the war.
I don’t deny anything for Ukraine. But Ukraine will choose.
And Jeff, if the Ukrainians do surrender, you believe Russia has sufficient means to force them to fight against NATO?
I only know that they are planning to use Ukrainian troops. Will they succeed? Probably, if past is prologue. It depends on whether Ukraine’s armies can escape to fight further West. Some men probably will get away. Russia has envisioned a double envelopment to prevent this.
Higher up was a similar thread on a similar topic. Even the bravest of men have surrendered. Considering, who is conscripted in Ukraine right now, I believe they can surrender even faster.
Do you have an X account you wouldn’t mind sharing? I often see things I’d like to get your thoughts on. I’ve meant to ask you before. If you’d rather not share it, I understand.
I have X account, but I was blocked as soon as I opened it 5 years ago for reasons, which I can’t understand because I didn’t even post anything. But I can read things there. I can share my FB account. You can message me stuff there if you send me friend request.

I may set up a FB page. I don’t currently have one.
It’s easy to just use a fake name and DOB. I have a friend who just used “Sun Ray” for her name. If you join let me know and I’ll invite you to the Conservatives for Ukraine group. I think you’d enjoy some of the posts there. I try to monitor it and share pertinent details on this blog when I have time.
Thank you, I will let you know if I do. I reopened an X account on Feb 28th after the Oval Office Horror Show. I tried to delete it after a week or two, because I look at it too much when I’m not working, but apparently I forgot my dang password. So, I guess I’m stuck with it!
Bout to get back to work. Thank you.
Thank you.
Sorry to make you do that. You don’t have to put anything personal there, no photo, or dates of birth. For me it is more convenient than anything else.
The situation is definitely a redo of Caesar’s dictatorship as the nation’s institutions have corrupted and demoralized themselves, the people look for a religion-ruler. Let us not forget that Trump is mainly made of blue dog democrats and other disgusted democrat elites. He is surrounded by the insulted and creeped out virtually woke molested Tulsi Gabards. The pagan gods in greece which had basically shaped the ministries of Rome, these worshipped representations of the powers of rivers, energies of war, forces of wind, rhythms of seasonal differences and accidental topological volcanic activities, lost their luster and became demoralized.
However now Rome’s morale was to be subject to the mood of the emperor. Trump is kind of the guy who quickly jumps on European demoralizations and narcissistically feed from it to then feed America in self enthusiasm. This is not good at all. I suppose, short of being willing to fully embrace a government religion or god monarch at the helm, the American people kind of hypocritically or puritanically accept one who is “drunk” as so. This is very peculiar.
Regardless, this is not happening in a vacuum as Zelensky alluded to Trump, ie that America right now benefits from ocean protections to afford the luxury of hysteria, but not all do and this might only be temporary. Trump and Vance got furious because Zelensky honestly pointed at their pathologies and the American pathology, a real cultural nono in America, which makes this otherwise great nation quite frustrating to live with at times. The Political Correctness affecting the left in daily psychosis is just below the surface on the American right.
Who is going to be responsible and set the right world mood and tone, able to manipulate those with dexterity instead of relying on instincts and intuitive gambling? He hates nuclear war and weapons but he sure is a bit reckless or febrile. That bullet that missed him should have been a learning opportunity for him (not in terms of repenting to the enemy targeting him but in terms of controlling the situation) but instead he took it narcissistically defiantly, drunk like on a gambling win. But he and America will not be always lucky that way, but those who survive the hood like in the Bronx like him have this learned ghetto attitude of being bold, surviving through the sociological hoops of the city the leftists actually created in darwinian like gambling fashion… I mean, we get from darwin sociology a bunch of psycho-narcissists who take mystically as a form of personal greatness the surviving of stray bullets, drug interactions, city women politically chaotic gamemanship or infected needles.
Hopefully he has good body guard and America does too by extension. I dont feel safe around that dunce of Vance who suffers similar military paranoiac PtSD, a typical choice for narcissists to choose as vice president. We always have to reinvent the wheel and set ourselves back 200 years.
Ukrainian military captured in Donetsk region two soldiers from China.

I saw that too this morning.
This is significant and proves Mr. Wang’s claim, made in my last interview with him, that Chinese troops are operating in the war.
Trump considering withdrawing 10,000 US troops from Poland and Romania:
https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/national-security/pentagon-considering-proposal-cut-thousands-troops-europe-officials-sa-rcna199603
Of course! Need to pull them out and dismantle as much of NATO as possible before Russia’s attack.
This is the plan.
Trump can KMA.
Here we go. Once he withdraws those troops, they will not be back.
Trump is a miserable excuse for a man.
Pope Pius XI – 1937 AD Encyclical Letter Divin Redemptoris (it is BTW interesting that it is nearly imposible to find the genuine English translation and the Vatican website should be absolutely avoided for their “versions” of anything the Church has ever published).
QUOTE:
Some restraint is necessary for man considered either as an individual or in society. Even the barbaric peoples had this inner check in the natural law written by God in the heart of every man. And where this natural law was held in higher esteem, ancient nations rose to a grandeur that still fascinates — more than it should — certain superficial students of human history. But tear the very idea of God from the hearts of men, and they are necessarily urged by their passions to the most atrocious barbarity.
22. This, unfortunately, is what we now behold. For the first time in history we are witnessing a struggle, cold-blooded in purpose and mapped out to the least detail, between man and “all that is called God.”[9] Communism is by its nature anti-religious. It considers religion as “the opiate of the people” because the principles of religion which speak of a life beyond the grave dissuade the proletariat from the dream of a Soviet paradise which is of this world.
23. But the law of nature and its Author cannot be flouted with impunity. Communism has not been able, and will not be able, to achieve its objectives even in the merely economic sphere. It is true that in Russia it has been a contributing factor in rousing men and materials from the inertia of centuries, and in obtaining by all manner of means, often without scruple, some measure of material success. Nevertheless We know from reliable and even very recent testimony that not even there, in spite of slavery imposed on millions of men, has Communism reached its promised goal. After all, even the sphere of economics needs some morality, some moral sense of responsibility, which can find no place in a system so thoroughly materialistic as Communism. Terrorism is the only possible substitute, and it is terrorism that reigns today in Russia, where former comrades in revolution are exterminating each other. Terrorism, having failed despite all to stem the tide of moral corruption, cannot even prevent the dissolution of society itself.
——-
58. See to it, Venerable Brethren, that the Faithful do not allow themselves to be deceived! Communism is intrinsically wrong (the old translation uses the word EVIL), and no one who would save Christian civilization may collaborate with it in any undertaking whatsoever. Those who permit themselves to be deceived into lending their aid towards the triumph of Communism in their own country, will be the first to fall victims of their error. And the greater the antiquity and grandeur of the Christian civilization in the regions where Communism successfully penetrates, so much more devastating will be the hatred displayed by the godless.
————
Now consider what Trump is doing, how he wants to be friends with them, with Russia, China and God knows who else from that diabolical atheistic bloc.
The ordeal to have to endure this diabolical scourge is coming, and only those who are ready for it and those who stand firm and just in front of God will be worthy to obtain His aid, otherwise He doesn’t hear those who oppose Him and are His enemies no matter how many times they call Him “Lord”.
China will invade America, but only after the 2nd American civil war has commenced. It could become a race war too.
Which is exactly what I’m afraid of. The CCP already has tens (at least!) of police stations overseas and we all know the one in Manhattan was NOT the only one in the good ol’ USA. Judging by their affinity for the CCP’s methods of “protecting” their populace from a (biological weapon) virus, it would be very in character for a lot of Dem governors to invite the PLA in to “keep order.”
They can ask for the “necessary aid and protection” when the counter-revolution as they might call it, will start, if it comes to the civil war scenario.
This is reminiscent of what happened with Zelenskyy, right before the Oval Office fiasco.
I hope Trump isn’t preparing to throw yet another US ally under the bus.
“Russia Praises US-Iran Nuclear Talks Scheduled For Oman”
“Trump in his Monday comments appeared to shock Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, who was sitting beside him during the claim that ‘direct talks’ with the Iranians were underway.”
https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/russia-praises-us-iran-nuclear-talks-scheduled-oman
Devil’s servants like to hold dialogue with one another, but it is still the devil himself who rules these perverted souls and only evil comes out of it,
What else can be added about Trump – and he’s not ignorant that Iran is a communist run country and has been since they got rid of the Shah (spel…?) back during the Iranian revolution, and the KGB took over all these Muslim networks and established new ones, including the PLO and so on, and Hamas, and Hezbollah and perhaps even the Taliban (from the beginning that is). (Red Cocaine, pg 52 or 56, somewhere there, the notes – bonanza of facts about the KGB controlling alll these Muslim networks.)
So if people are still not sure who he is, these are the circumstantial points to show that they should reconsider and understand that the Kremlin rules the WH and has been in charge for some presidencies already, no names need to be mentioned….
We will bury you, by which you know that they are very thorough and don’t leave any opportunity to advance the communist evil cause untouched.
I knew about the PLO, Hezbollah and company, but the Iranian mullahs themselves being crypto-communist is kind of surprising to me. I mean, it makes sense, given their behavior and allies, but I am genuinely interested in learning more about this, since the (open) communists only really had a honeymoon period after the *spits* revolution.
Dr. Douglass in Red Cocaine speaks about this in those notes, page 52 (or 56, forgot…).
There was that defector from Iran, an ordinary woman, in one of the schoolboard meetings during the Covid fiasco, and she said this directly that her native Iran was a communist country, that Iran was ravaged by communism.
It makes sense that Iran was Moscow’s target a long-ago and was annexed to the Soviet orbit, and so was also Iraq under Saddam Hussein, and so was Libya under Quadaffi…and so on, including the KGB run PLO and the KGB agent Arafat.
If I’m not mistaken, Jeff has mentioned before that most of the leadership of Iran went to Moscow University.
Had to the Patrice Lumumba for revolutionaries. Notorious KGB and GRU place.
Yes
Many top clerics in Iran went to school in the USSR. This is where recruitment takes place.
English version of the article above.
“Zelensky warns ‘many’ China soldiers are on Russia frontlines as two captured in shock escalation”
https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/world-news/zelensky-warns-many-more-china-35016291
It has always been one communist bloc and never devided, because the communist atheistic cause of the devil’s unity in evil is what drives these fanatics, and they don’t mnd dying for it either.
That China and so on are involved is not surprising at all. The question is what will Trump do about it now, or was it done deliberately so that the door to “peace” would close and the march forward onto Europe will commence ? Or the nuclear blackmail will be boosted this way ? They are pure evil, and Nixon and Kissinger were behind this Chinese fiasco and false friendship (from China’s side that is) and naivite which was tempered by the American lust for the cheap communist slave labor….washing the moral constraints not to be involved with these servants of the devil down the drain of history.
If Chinese soldiers are going into the line against Ukraine, where are the Russian units that were formerly holding that part of the line? Are they moving to Belarus?
Excellent question.
China can spare many more troops than Russia because China is much more populated, as all know, and so this point about the Chinese now being involved is an important psychological warfare because it shows the unity of that evil communist bloc and serves as demoralizing factor and even warfare against the NATO countries, including the US.
And so then the KGB assets, the controlled opposition, will be ordered to “seek peace” at al cost, even at the cost of moral perversion so great that, as Trump is doing now with Putin, they are capable of selling Ukraine once again, as their predecessors have done to Eastern Europe with Stalin at Yalta….and this is a historical repetition and a very evil one.
Trump can be therefore compared in this with people as Chamberlain, Churchill and Roosevelt in this, different occassions, one was the betrayal of Czechoslovakia in 1938 Munich to Hitler by the British and French, the other at Yalta by Churchill and Roosevelt, to much worse monster than Hitler was, that is to this atheistic communist criminal Stalin.
Trump cannot wipe this off of himself, not any longer.

“Der Weg in den Krieg – Eine Lagebeurteilung” (6. 1. 2025)
https://jrnyquistdeutsch.wordpress.com/2025/04/08/der-weg-in-den-krieg-eine-lagebeurteilung/
I was finally admitted to the recording of the closed meeting with Valeriy Solovey. As I said before, he claims to have insider information. I find it interesting to listen to him, unlike when I watch Russian TV and pure propaganda. Some things I find hard to believe. But I cannot deny the fact that before the war of 2022 started, he insisted among many opposing voices, that the plan to attack had been approved and is going to be carried out. The following are some of my notes from his talk, given on April 3. It might give some food for thought.
Mask is the main Russian lobbyist in the Trump’s immediate proximity.
Russia will be devastated if Mask will move away from influencing Trump. The person Mask was closest to in Russia and had many meetings with is Sergey Kiriyenko.
During previous Trump’s term Jared Kushner was Russia’s lobbyist with Trump.
If peace talks don’t work, Russia plans to start preparation for mobilization in July of this year and announce it publicly in September. They plan to mobilize 1 million people. That will bring their army to 2 million people.
These plans were ready in 2019 and were put aside for a while. Now they dug them out. Russia will send the troops to Belarus and Kaliningrad oblast. Their target would be Baltic countries.
They do not want to fight but to test NATO’s reaction, to provoke and to scare by showing their might and seriousness of intentions. They also plan to go against Northern Kazakhstan and annex it. They don’t worry about world’s reaction to that and think it will be an easy task.
Kremlin wants to get preferences from Europe by showing their strength. If Europe will see that this is not an empty promise, they would have to back up.
Yet Russians fear Trump. Trump had already shown his ability to stop Russia.
While Russia and White house had a honeymoon period, China was nudging Russia to keep on fighting and have no peace negotiations.
China learns from Russia’s war experience, how to survive in war and with sanctions.
Russia found a way to influence Trump with lucrative business proposals.
EU already started taking sanctions off certain Russian people. Like from the wife of Rottenberg and others, who would participate in Russia-Trump business dealings.
Russia has their separate talks with EU. Commercially Russia promises EU really cheap gas.
These are plans for now. Situation might change rapidly.
Russia benefits from a changing focus of attention, like they did with Hamas attacking Israel and distracting attention from war in Ukraine.
Now Kremlin is trying to fire up the Iran conflict. Russia acts as if they defend peace, on the other hand they are trying to increase confrontation. They tell Iran that the main aim of USA are not nuclear sites, but top leaders. But Iran doesn’t trust Russia. The trust was ruined by Volodin being assigned as an ambassador to Iran, which Iran finds insulting, (probably because Volodin is gay).
USA want to have indirect negotiations with Iran through Oman.
Russia is really interested for USA or Israel to strike Iran. Then the world would depend on Russia’s oil.
Russia wants to be the middleman in negotiations between the USA and China.
China declines Russia’s intermediation.
If EU sanctions are not lifted, Russia is facing huge economic crisis.
Russia’s economy if facing 300-500% inflation. Russia needs war to explain this state of economy to the population, to channel their anger and frustration elsewhere.
Trump is very unpredictable for everyone. No one knows what to expect from him. It is a cause of worry for Russia.
Some of it is typical Russian propaganda and carefully crafted deception, which they are masters to produce. They truly don’t miss a trick. Especially the points about Trump, they truly don’t want him to be seen as their man, that would destroy the whole strategy in regards to the US military ability to resist the Russian and Chinese attack, and they truly need the element of surpise, it is part of their military doctrine also.
These are important indications how they will play it out and why.
The part about Iran, and also how Mr. Nyquist informed that Russian is giving them nuclear warheads, those are the evidence that Russians are fully in charge, firstly because Iran wouldn’t dare to oppose Moscow in anyting because they know who is the boss and that without the support of the Kremlin and Beijing communists Iran wouldn’t stand a chance against the US nor Israel…and so what Trump is suugesting and or implying that Iran is a separate issue, and a thoroughly independent one from that of Russia and China, that of itself is NOT a matter of some shortsighted institutional blindness but a carefully crafted KGB introduced deception.
The other point about the nuclear warhead given by Russian to Iran – they don’t give nukes to nobody whom they don’t control, and moreover it is inconceivable that all the time such warheads are fully controlled by trusted GRU Russian military personal – this way they would be unleashed when Moscow says they will be, and not Tehran.
But the overall strategy would seem to be to scare off any American hopes to clean up the Iranian problem, so then it only shows that Iran has been in the communist orbit all that time, under the Kremlin orders. Which means Moscow is in charge of all these terrorist networks Iran supports and supplies and directs. They will be used, and Iran as well, by the Kremlin as a decoy, when Moscow attacks the US with the Russian nuclear potential, and it is means to be a decisive attack, nothing less. Of course, they prefer now the Civil War scenario or a full communist revolution in America, using the domestic assets and only secret Russian “advisors”. Then come the nuclear and biological warfare afterwards.
The Russians do not seem terribly bothered if people know Trump favors them.
This is absolutely true and because they know they are already so much ahead of the US in the military build-up that they are using this to demoralize the US population and worldwide population as well, and perhaps even as the upcoming blackmail tool, when the proper time comes to use it.
Thanks for sharing. Interesting.
I don’t think Russians fear Trump, or find him unpredictable.
Russians bluff a lot which makes them look invincible. But they are fearful little creatures.
This is essential and why it is so ? Because they (the KGB criminals) do NOT love the truth and hate justice, as true justice is founded solely and only on truth and there can be no lie in true justice. That’s why the commies are so paranoid and fearful when it comes to the truth, especially they get offended when they are exposed in their evils and lies and deceptions.
That’s why it is absolutely imperative to continue exposing their strategy and operations so that then is nothing left for them to hide nor to use as deception. It is a major weapon against them because they are the most trusted servants of the devil and he HATES the Truth and run away from it always.
I think bluffing makes Russia look weak. And certainly they have many weaknesses. But also paradoxical strengths.
This is truly important for what it shows in terms of Russian strategic thought. Thank you.
It is fascinating, to see their strategy. I posted only about 1/4 of what he was talking about. He talked a lot about transition of power, which he promises for a while and which never happens, so it didn’t seem relevant. But I also liked one of his answers to a question from audience.
Question: Why theater stage-director Yevgeniya Berkovich was imprisoned for a play that she directed, while she also received a government recognition for the same play?
Answer: The authorities want to mesmerise population by not giving any clear rules. They want to seem unpredictable, because this increases fear and obedience.
Is it Machiavellian? Or just purely satanic?
This is an interesting question. They are trying to get people to understand the national subtext without saying it out loud. Aesopian language only works if people learn how to interpret it. Punish them until they do.
QUOTE: The authorities want to mesmerise population by not giving any clear rules. They want to seem unpredictable, because this increases fear and obedience.
AND the whole quote from Mr. Nyquist above….
———
But this is the mark of secretly communist run society, where they go ahead with the open persecution of the dissenting voices but don’t disclose they are doing it in the name of the communist cause as the communists they are in truth.
This has been slowly but surely going on for years all over the world, and it is only increasing now in magnitude as they are more and more certain they will gain the power over the whole world….they don’t know one thing though, the most important one – that God is watching and He will repay them for all these evils and in full !
Musk’s DOGE causing massive network/tech crashes across multiple gov’t agencies.
(Could this be cover for crashing DoD infrastructure at an opportune time?)
https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/elon-musk-doge-social-security-b2729173.html
In fairness, Elon’s management style is indistinguishable from sabotage whenever he engages in any kind of cost cutting activities. At Tesla, he’s done mass firings before and ended up having to rehire entire teams because he accidentally fired people he needed. Tesla also has the worst build quality in the nation–a far cry from what it used to be before he pushed out the original founders. Tesla also leads all other auto manufacturers for deaths, maimings, and other injuries, and he even hides death/injury incidents from the government. Elon keeps bashing Reuters because it discovered hundreds of unreported injuries at both Tesla and SpaceX. Elon has even sent people to the hospital in their own vehicles, with missing fingers and such, just to avoid filing an injury report to the government. At Twitter, Twitter started crashing and having issues after Elon did his mass firings and also shut off key servers it turned out he needed. He also pulled the “reply to this email with 6 things you’ve accomplished this week” both at Twitter and all his other businesses, with predictable results, same as he did with the Feds.
So, really, when it comes to Elon, we can’t really discern whether it’s deliberate sabotage or just his usual incompetence.
Very good points. Excellent comment.
Man! What a loser! So now, we have loser Trump and loser Musk at the helm. And wannabe bulldog Vance.
We live in the age of fraudulent geniuses.
It looks quite disruptive. Imagine the damage that is being done.

Ecc 5:3 For a dream cometh through the multitude of business; and a fool’s voice is known by multitude of words.
Is anyone here familiar with when the Israelites were journeying in the wilderness, and they complained because they didn’t have any meat, so God sent a huge amount of quail, and as they were eating it (I imagine in a gluttonous, unthankful manner) God’s wrath was kindled and he struck them with a plague?
Num 11:33 And while the flesh was yet between their teeth, ere it was chewed, the wrath of the Lord was kindled against the people, and the Lord smote the people with a very great plague.
Num 11:34 And he called the name of that place Kibrothhattaavah: because there they buried the people that lusted.
I remember telling my pastor before Trump won the election, What if we as a nation are lusting for this promised golden age so strongly, with no regard and reverence for God and no desire for the godly character that brings such blessings, that God actually allows Trump to go in, and “while the flesh is yet between our teeth”, God sends some kind of judgement on us.
Seems to me, that’s a pretty pretty reasonable assessment of what’s happening here. We’re getting the “realDonaldTrump”, and it ain’t good
People were willing to let him bring sodomites into the tent, just maybe not the transgenders. People let him back up a bit on the sanctity of unborn life as long as he could restore the economy. He brought some very not good people into his administration, and all kinds of non-Conservatives into the Republican tent. He courted Muslims. He brought in despicable rock stars -drunkards and sodomites- as entertainment to his rallies. He got the people to trust Trump instead of God.
We elected a draft dodger as the commander in chief.
Of course, the other options were awful, and we had no choice. I thought I was voting for the lesser of two evils. Now, I believe I was just voting for the Right wing blade of the scissors.
I remember in church a year or so after the 2020 election was “stolen”, a guest preacher boldly and wisely said, “you know, I think God may have been a little bit jealous of Donald Trump, and kept him from going in office again.”
There were audible gasps. But as it dawned on me what he was saying, I had to shout, Amen.
Exo 34:14 For thou shalt worship no other god: for the Lord , whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:
Not everyone on here cares for Scripture, I know. These are just some thoughts for those that do, of which there seem to be quite a few, maybe even most.
Trump did seem to promote the “YMCA” song in the Rallies. Why chose that one?
Isn’t that a gay song?
🤣
One of Bukovsky’s arguments, as I understood it anyway, is that this isn’t a “Russia problem.” As in, Russia doesn’t do this stuff because it’s a part of Russian genetics, it’s not Russian culture, and it’s not the inevitable result of Russian history and their tsars. It is about the ideology of Marx which just happened to take over Russia.
In the first paragraph he makes fun of the common idea that Russians are aggressive and dangerous due to their history. In the second he posits his idea. What is your own opinion?
“Had our Harvard professor Pipes been a bit more generous with epithets, adding a tad more to the total bouquet, what would emerge would be a classical portrait of Jewry drawn from a certain type of literature that points to the leading role of Jews in the communist movement. Surely two thousand years of diaspora, humiliation and persecution are no better than 400 years of serfdom and just as unlikely to improve character, making living “depending on protection by laws and customs” impossible. The blacks, too, are presumably no great gift, as they gained freedom from slavery just two years after the liberation of the Russian serfs. As for gypsies, why, there is no point in talking about them, because everyone knows you can’t trust a gypsy!
…
Maybe we can move away from the shadow of Russian tsars and admit that it is not their spectres, but another kind of spectre that stalks the halls of the Kremlin, the one that in Marx’s time stalked around Europe, but has now settled quite comfortably on other continents. Perhaps we should look at the Biblical wisdom that in the beginning there was the Word—in this instance, the Marxist-Leninist teaching—that showed the “Russians” of all nationalities how and by what means to achieve universal happiness.”
This controversy between those who talk of the Marxist legacy as the main causal factor in Russia’s current aggressiveness and those who look to Russia’s autocratic legacy under the tsars, proved disruptive during a very important discussion on Frontpage Mag organized by Jamie Glazov a decade ago. Bukovsky defended Russia against the likes of Mike Pacepa and others who were pushing a very anti-Russian as opposed to anti-communist narrative. A discussion of the Russian strategy of cooperation with other communist countries was effectively derailed. It was a great shame that this happened. The underlying communist nature of the Putin regime is easy to miss. Yet it is the key. 🔑
“Trump Is Firing the Wrong People, on Purpose”
“[Musk is] also pushing out thousands of the government’s best minds—recognized authorities across a wide range of disciplines who’ve helped to safeguard public health at home and abroad, set the global standard for science and research, and maintain the US’s competitive advantage.”
This is very concerning. I wonder if China is using Musk to fire the top experts in our government so they can be recruited by China.

From the article:
“The most talented people are overrepresented in the people who’ve been chased out.”
!!!
So this is likely not happening due to random chance.
Perhaps Musk’s wild firings in the past (mentioned above) are part of an act? Maybe we are meant to dismiss this as his “wild antics”? When it is actually China using Musk to intentionally hollow out our government before a war!
Trump postpones tariffs by 90 days. Russia starts new offensive in Sumy and Kharkiv oblasts.
Thank goodness for the pause.
My head is spinning from all the events and the speed at which they are happening.
He may change his mind again in a few days. May be something akin to what Valentina pointed out about keeping everyone in a state of uncertainty, though she was talking about Russia.
Or he got scared after losing his own $500 million)
Just did a Google News search for “China” and “recruit.” Look what came up!
“US intelligence agency warns China is trying to recruit government employees”
https://www.reuters.com/world/us/us-intelligence-agency-warns-china-is-trying-recruit-government-employees-2025-04-09/
This is sabotage. The fox is in the hen house. Musk works for China!
Very serious.
Update: Zelensky claims more than 150 Chinese soldiers fighting for Putin – and Beijing knows
https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/ukraine-russia-war-putin-zelensky-chinese-soldiers-latest-news-b2729922.html
Huge numbers of North Koreans training in Russia, learning about drone tech, etc. Lots of info in this article.
“‘There are millions of them here,’ says a man in one of the videos, in Russian, as he films North Korean soldiers walking through a training camp in Sergeevka, a small village 140 miles from North Korea in Russia’s far east.
“The Russian soldier sounds amazed but scornful about their arrival, calling the new recruits “a horde.” The handful of videos show North Korean troops jogging across a training camp or receiving equipment and documents, all of them wearing brand-new Russian uniforms….”

Thank you for your diligent and tireless anti-communist efforts Mr. Nyquist.
Here is some food for thought:
There are 2 competing visions with 2 sets of competing goals motivating the Trump administration. https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2025/apr/09/trump-world-two-visions
Return to Sender- Zelensky : War must return from whence it came. https://www.kyivpost.com/post/50361
About the point that the commies now and then posing as “NAZIs” and this has been a long-term scheme for them, and the idea is to discredit right-wing political party or organization by joining them and then become more public about the NAZI leaning ideas the communist plant is of course supplied by the Party.
There is an old movie called “I was a communist for the FBI” and it has this same idea in it, about the mark 1 hr, 4 minutes.
https://archive.org/details/i.-was.a.-communist.for.the.-fbi.-1958
It has more such like ideas and communist tricks, which are quite real as the whole Party is a diabolically run outfit of criminals willing to do anything for the cause, even murder. Of course their methods are today much more advanced, including poisons and special poisonous pils that don’t leave a trace in the blood system and so on, it is all done for the cause.
How many good people had to die because they got too close or didn’t give up against the commies, that will not be known untl the Last Judgment.
So that they are now trying to paint the US Government as run by NAZI sympathizers is just a continuation of that KGB scheme, just like they use the “Elders of Zion” fraud, as Pacepa described very well, and or the “masonic conspiracy” and so on, but the commies are always behind it because it serves them and them only, and their evil satanic cause.
Mr. Nyquist,
What do you make of Body Language Expert Professor Harry Witchel’s insights regarding Trump’s meeting with President Zelensky, as well as President Trump’s reading abilities? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=imSd7g_a9Oc
I think he is clearly biased.
