It is rumored that a large-scale Israeli attack on Iran will begin Friday. Will it come to pass? The mobilization announcements in North Korea, combined with other war preparations, suggest the possibility of a renewed Korean conflict. The Chinese fleet is positioned for a blockade around Taiwan. Here in the United States, we are on the eve of an election which could split the country. Are the communists in Beijing and Pyongyang planning an October surprise? Israel’s defense minister, Yaov Gallant, publicly says his country’s counterattack on Iran will be “deadly, precise and above all, surprising.”[ii]
We have seen many signs of impending war. Russia’s leaders have warned of a nuclear exchange. China’s leaders have been warning their people to get ready. Somehow, America’s leaders have been deaf to all of this. They have ignored the military buildup of China and Russia and North Korea. They have not improved our nuclear deterrent. They have not hardened our power grid. They have not built blast or fallout shelters for the population. They have neglected everything.
If World War III starts tomorrow, it will not be the work of America or Israel, or of some shadowy capitalist cabal. The next war is the work of communists in Beijing and Moscow. Yet, communist-inspired disinformation has so contaminated our public discourse, that we are set to blame our own country, our own “military industrial complex,” and the Jews. The acceptance of blame by Americans is, unfortunately, part of a targeted demoralization process described by Lenin and outlined by KGB defector Yuri Bezmenov. Demoralizing Americans, so that they blame their own institutions, is an important communist op. The communists want to destroy America, but they must make everyone believe that America deserves destruction. They convinced the left long ago, and now they are trying to convince the right.
The coming war has been prepared, over the course of three or four decades, by communist think tanks and committees in Beijing and Moscow. We know about these preparations from Russian and Chinese defectors. In terms of psychological warfare, the communists did the following: first, they took away the image of our enemy, then they tricked us into a partial disarmament, then they tricked us into building up China. And we fell for it all. In setting this up, they have relied on criminal cartels, secret agent networks, terrorists, corrupt politicians, greedy businessmen and more. They have built their political and military strongholds through deceit. They have worked to transform the world through the abuse of language and the falsification of thought. Their “ideology” (which they deny exists) is merely a weapon which, like other weapons, has evolved through several iterations. And this weapon has succeeded brilliantly.
The Greek Stoic philosopher, Epictetus (50-135 AD), explained, “it is a shame for man to begin and to leave off where the brutes do.” Yet here we are, victims of our own stupidity. Aristotle said that man was the “rational animal,” called upon to interpret the world, to articulate truth. Human society depends on that articulation. In this matter, we have lost the art of spectating and interpreting.
Totalitarian slogans have a way of colonizing people’s minds. After a steady diet of slogans people cannot see the truth. They lose the ability to spectate. All they can do is regurgitate the latest lies. It was Socrates who first demonstrated the majority’s preference for lies. He questioned the wise men of his day and found them empty. These hollow men made a good deal of money, he noted. They were popular. Yet Socrates said of them, “They think they are something when they are nothing.”
Mattias Desmet, in a book titled The Psychology of Totalitarianism, wrote that “the mechanist-materialist view of man and the world creates the specific social-psychological conditions in which mass formation and totalitarianism thrive.”[iii] By “mass formation” he means “mass formation psychosis”; that is, a kind of political insanity. This is not the insanity of schizophrenia. It is the insanity of those who indulge in what George Orwell, in his dystopian novel 1984, called “doubleplusgood duckspeaking.” Here is the language of an intoxicating and addictive lie. As the addiction grows the acolyte evolves. In the end he becomes an accessory to mass murder.
Mass murder is always the child of perverse ideas. For example, there is the idea that the sexes are alike and interchangeable, that rank order should be inverted, that the ignorant should hold sway over the wise, that the poor should “eat the rich.” Before mass murder there will be a sign along the road: “Welcome to Topsy-Turvydom.”[iv] One might indeed use fear to control people under a dictatorship, but the totalitarian state goes the extra mile by depriving the individual of clear language and common sense. When that happens people tend to become cynical about the truth; for nonsense accustoms the citizen to irrationality and arbitrariness. In time people throw up their hands. Reason is useless, they say. Just follow the social engineers. Do whatever they say. Stop trying to make sense out of it. And then, once gibberish has put an end to meaningful communication, people will find themselves isolated from each other.
The symbols now preferred in describing political reality are as empty as they are dishonest. Here is the favored nonsense of a rising “activism” which claims for itself “scientific” or religious-political validity. Examples include the theory of global warming, Critical Race Theory, belief in equality, faith in democracy, conspiracy theory. Here are alleged “truths” that never amount to anything. The resulting political articulations lead directly to suicidal policies like open borders or deficit spending.
Our leaders, having adopted gibberish disguised as theory, tell us to “follow the science.” We were told, during the pandemic, that an experimental vaccine is “safe and effective” even though there was no proper testing. And people lined up by the tens of millions to be guinea pigs! A prominent Chinese-American anticommunist recently whispered a question to me: Why are they all so stupid? Meanwhile, the bureaucrats are free to tack nonsense onto nonsense. Rather than wondering if millions have been poisoned by an untested injection, the CDC says the increase in cancers and heart attacks are due to climate change.[v]
It ought to take your breath away. By claiming there is a “scientific consensus,” after threatening those scientists who refuse to obey bureaucratic dictates, they remake science in their own image; that is, in the image of the bully. This is a process that necessarily blots out true men of science; for science belongs to the individual who discovers, not to the bureaucrat who idiotically administers. Science is the most intensive spectating of all, and involves a great deal of interpretation. It is, one might say, God’s work. But now it is being taken over by the Devil.
According to Mattias Desmet, “Science can, in essence, be defined as open-mindedness.”[vi] Today’s so-called scientific discourse, however, is not open-minded. As Desmet says, “To the extent that the scientific discourse [of our time] became an ideology, it lost its virtue of truth-telling. Nothing illustrates this better than the so-called replication crisis that erupted in academia in 2005”[vii] Here we find scientific fraud on a massive scale, enabled by bureaucracy. Here we have fraud by the bucketful. Here we find “scientists” making discoveries by the misuse of scanning technology, by the counterfeiting of archeological artifacts, by the forging of embryo clones, by mixing human and monkey bones to say they have found the “missing link.”
Desmet points to the work of Daniele Fanelli who “conducted a systematic survey in 2009 and found that at least 72 percent of researchers were willing to somehow distort their research results.”[viii] Science becomes a criminal enterprise under this kind of stewardship. It leads to beliefs about reality that are entirely false. No commonwealth can survive this kind of stewardship for long.
If we are on the brink of world war, think of who our leaders are. Objectively, these are people who have promoted false political narratives. They have promoted mass formation psychosis. I submit that any politician who promotes mass psychosis is a public enemy. Such, indeed, is Vice President Kamala Harris, whose cynical lies and evasions during her interview with Brett Baier fit perfectly with her well-established plagiarisms and fraudulent career claims.[ix]
Shall we say, in this context, “I lost my country because a lying politician outsmarted me”? Is there no shame in being tricked by someone so stupid, venal, and nuts? Of course, it is shameful. Whatever happens in the next twenty-four hours, in the next two weeks, be a spectator and an interpreter. Think for yourself.

I think that that is a definite, yes. And, from what I am seeing from You Tubers with over a half a million subscribers and from people that I personally know the majority of American people would support that decision.These are Republican Christians that would rather surrender than send their kids to war. I asked one long time Christian-Republican if she would want her grandchild living under communism and she hesitated and unconvincing said no and later in the conversation when talking about communism she said well what else am I to do, meaning she has already thrown in the towel and surrendered. I have been having much anxiety lately and I now think that most of it is coming from the fact that most people in this country have already surrendered as they think that the communists will allow them to live. I also think that that goes for the majority of leaders in our country on both sides of the aisle. Trump is anti war and will negotiate us right into communism and Kamala will surrender us into communism.
People today think that the objective in life is to avoid suffering. Unfortunately, this Epicurean idea what life is about. Suffering is intrinsic to life. It is something we are meant to experience along with all the good things. There is meaningful suffering, where we are doing the right thing. There is meaning in loss. Life is about loss and sacrifice. It is not about “winning,” although we should strive for victory. The larger experience of living involves the greatest change of all: DEATH. We are not fully who we are until that moment.
As long as we have forgotten how to take personal responsibility, do not like to name the difference between solidarity and Christian compassion, regard the family as replaceable, place children in the hands of others as soon as they are weaned and do not recognize them as soon as they come of age, place our fate in the hands of the state instead of God, we will not be able to stand up against communism. We’d rather watch the next soap opera, let the pizza delivery boy serve us and wait for the media to tell us what to do the next morning.

It is a question of obtaining a driver seat. God being God in His own right “has inherent faith” that His doing is on par with what is godly, not needing an observer to check if His behavior is correct. However, Is it tenable that God be an endurer of His own greatness? Is enduring a sin? If there was man created, would that be an example to follow, ie to self-endure ownself “greatness” or peculiar identity, in a sort of narcissism only feeling itself as a reference, a sort of figurative self-cannibalism risking outright plain self-cannibalism?
Enter the drugs, dissociations and visits of other spirits perverting the original fashionable plastic image of man into their own, making it thrive in false belief through this narcissism of feeling self. The self cannibalizing act of human sacrifices (oft figuratively expressed in chicken or lamb sacrifice for off center observation and healing as rational but also oft involving the actual self sacrifice of the priest(ress) there into own insanity) there would thus implicitly allow the beast spirit to feed off human blood that was God’s creation, higjacking it not just symbolically, but for real highjacking the consciousness attention as a result. Marxists of late have been fascinated by this. They do not seem to care they do not fully understand the fetish concept, they want the tools, techniques and what not to heal (and to kill). They just are content to sit at universities as one eyed people of an over-set over the subsets they think these cults are. Marxists are also obsessed with finding fossile “natural scientific” evidence out there of Marxism and Marxist laws fundamental to universe and its purported sacrosanct “consciousness”, one not unlike that the Astologers sought since the fixed combination of planets, timings and cola shells means a totalitarian unchanging system, ie a myth generator of stories and combinations, with schizo-autistic Marxists furiously trying to figure a myth of their own in order to “explain everything” to us, damn if it is not completely correct. Laborit bemoaned this and wanted his laboratory to be an example of adopting Marxism as a full continuous process of expansion of said myth. Levi-Strauss introduced structuralism and also observed such processes in Native American tribes adapting their myth as new datas or technologies came in. Some survived, many perished when colonized, incapable of continuing this “adaptation process” (note that Devereux said adaptation was inferior because it was a distortion transformation of the individual to the distorted social instead of a rework of both beyond natural selection). There the choice is stark: how can the idiot observe the intelligent? Why, by biting the fruit! It is a fruit of good too after all! But instead of the idiot coward cutting his right off hand that took the fruit in brave gambit saving his life and now capable of observing instead of enduring his past unpure self, he makes the left one grab it too, because through escalation of evil one can relatively be in a better observation position over the less tainted good.
So, for the Soviets, the virtue of Laborit’s experiment is simply limited and to be adopted only as a political validation of Marxism, as a means, and not as the ends, as they abandon of actually creating this process of conscientiously expanding Marxism that they feel will happen on its own intuitively then. (It is a bit like the 3 rabbis’ charity welfare evaluation joke, with the third acculturated one saying that he gives all his money to God for charity by throwing it up in the air and whatever God lets fall back on the ground he gets to keep for himself.). Devereux even said that revolution happen with a sort of emotionality, ie with a sort of mystifying intelligence, ie. the revolutions that succeed are never consciously thought out but unconsciously so. So, opposite Laborit camp of conscienciousness in genius management, you have the dictatorial political one of action and conquest that is more logical for where the communists stand at. Laborit did admit that Chile’s revolution failed because it was one independent of the communist block and it was like a leftist brain cell trying to live in a capitalist environment of the liver. Hence for him capitalism is a subset organ co-process, while for Marx it was a step before another politically.
In short, the idea is that the Soviets have a couple cards, which is the cynicism of the corrupt dictator turning science into action instead of study, the negation of autarchy (but here I surmise that the CIA went after Allende precisely because he gave the finger to Soviets and less so because he was giving it to the West), the inane and silly “genius” camp of leftist liberals acting like the aesopian lamb (pleading for mercy since he will be bigger and fatter next year and means no harm inherently ) and the incapacity of a proud right and greedy or cowardly capitalists in realizing they are being abused, and the abuse has become even more gentle in heat increase given the work of western leftists in using Marxism to yield soft cannibalistic methods of marketing even actively numbing otherwise reticent customers.

As I read Birgit Naujeck’s description of Communists’ treatment of target populations, I thought I was reading Raymond Ibrahim’s description of jihad in Sword and Scimitar. The points of similarity: wholesale slaughter; enslavement of Christian children by the thousands and their training as jihadists to be turned against Christians; gang rape of men, women and children. Through the history of clash between sword and scimitar, there was always a handful of heroic Christian leaders, but for the most part disunity, squabbles and selfish ambition prevented the West from exerting itself in sufficient numbers and with sufficient perseverance and will to prevail definitively over the Muslims. Have I just heard Michael del Rosso say that Ukraine did indeed start the war with Russia, with Zelensky playing some kind of role of controlled opposition — of whom, whether of Putin or of “Davos,” I couldn’t make out. It wasn’t terribly clear, but what I was able to get from his comments was shocking. Can you “translate” the slightly garbled exposition by del Rosso, and comment?
I did not understand what Michael was saying, since he contradicted himself. Anyone exposed to people from the former Soviet Union is going to exposed to a lot of confusing disinformation, opinion, and for an American it can lead to confusion. Michael is not well-read on the Euro-Maidan Revolution, like most Americans, and I suspect he is unclear about this history. Many MAGA people share this confusion.

del Rosso was claiming that Putin controls elements within the WEF and Democratic Party, as well as Zelenskyy. That Zelenskyy really was responsible for provoking the invasion, but that it was all planned between them in advance.
However, after watching it, to me it seems odd that he would say, “So I don’t know if Trump heard the same thing.” I don’t know why he said that. I think it’s very unlikely that Trump has heard that idea. I find it very odd.

This is where people get turned around. They cannot figure out the Democrats’ support for Ukraine. And tjey assume that Zelenskyy is controlled opposition. But then, why didn’t he take Biden’s plane ride? Zelenskyy refused to flee Ukraine and possibly cause a collapse of Ukrainian resistance. He did not flee, and the analysis of this fact is obvious. Zelenskyy has not been false opposition. Of course, Michael has suggested this to me before. It is a viewpoint I reject, to be sure. del Rosso’s timing is off. He said “since 2018”. The war started in 2014 with Russia’s invasion of Crimea and eastern Ukraine. Moreover, Zelenskyy was not elected until after the war started.
What I don’t understand is why didn’t Putin order a blitzkrieg in 2014, but waited until 2022 for it? After all, it was known that the fighters in eastern Ukraine after the Maiden revolution were Russian soldiers. Their disguise as rebelling eastern Russian speaking Ukrainians was pulled off by both Russian and Ukrainian sources.
The war started before the Orange Revolution in 2004; however, neither Russia nor China were militarily armed or economically independent enough to strike in 2004 or 10 years later with the start of the Maidan. In addition, the Russians had not yet trained enough people in eastern Ukraine to wage the ‘war of independence’. With the Minsk agreements, Germany and France then gave Russia the time it needed to prepare for the invasion in 2022. The war might have broken out earlier… but Trump was still in power.
Putin believed that ethnic Russians in Ukraine would turn against Kyiv in the course of the fighting that was ongoing in Donbas. He believed he could retake Ukraine politically, without full scale war. He also believed Ukraine would economically fall apart, that his agent networks could retake power from within, through future elections. But his hopes were dashed as Ukrainians of Russian background generally did not buy his propaganda. When his advisors proved wrong about Ukrainian internal politics, and when the Ukrainian reforms were gradually taking hold, he opted to grab the whole country. He badly miscalculated in 2014 and in 2022.

Rob Sewell is a communist who has written volumes “In Defense of Lenin.” If you read him with the understanding that he is a communist there is nothing unusual in what he writes. It is quite typical of many communists to see the world the way he does. He sees the whole American system as rotten. For him all major parties and players are part of the capitalist system. They are all part of the crisis that will bring it all down. This is the “crisis of capitalism,” and he is showing that capitalism is doomed and socialism is the future. He believes that the Revolution is coming. As for his assessment being fair or unbiased, he is an ideologist who thinks he has no ideology. He thinks he is seeing things clearly, scientifically. He simply misinterprets everything to fit into the communist interpretation. He is not a strategist of communism. He is a true believer in the Revolution. Regarding Sam Faddis upthread, he sounds like a typical expert who knows very little outside his specific area of expertise. He is very knowledgeable about communist China but doesn’t notice that the CCP are in close partnership with Russia. The idea that the US must make peace with Russia in order to focus on the true enemy, China, seems to be a commonly accepted half-truth on the MAGA right. Instead of leading people to a better understanding of the threats facing the West, these pundits are compounding the problem of communist distortion of the truth. I wonder if this new mobilization by China and North Korea, and their general aggressive language, are meant to strengthen the arguments for abandoning Ukraine and Europe to Russia. “Oh no, there’s trouble in the Middle East and an impending war in East Asia! We can’t waste resources on Ukraine, we need Russia’s help against Iran and China!” I can see this argument being pushed hard in the near term, with the end result of freeing up Russia to combine its forces with the PLA and North Koreans in the Pacific. So in other words, pundits like Sam would be unknowingly contributing to the very outcome that they sought to avoid. And if that happens, will they ever admit their mistake? No.
As I see it, if the Communist Bloc succeeds in getting one group of US allies –Europe or East Asia—to buckle, this puts severe pressure on the remaining group to abandon the US. Right now NATO appears weaker and more willing to submit to Russia, while Japan and South Korea are determined to oppose China and North Korea. Getting NATO to abandon the Eastern flank might be seen as the easier path forward for the Communists, and that’s why we are witnessing a tremendous effort to convince MAGA Americans to do just that. It’s disturbing to see even anti-communists familiar with Golitsyn’s writings start to repeat Russian disinformation on Ukraine (Cliff Kincaid, maybe Del Rosso?). And even if Trump loses, seeds of this push to abandon Ukraine have already been artfully planted in the mainstream media, just waiting for a spark to be ignited. Laura: Cliff was filling my ear with this idea of a Ukrainian assassination attempt on Trump the last time I spoke with him. It was a kind of fixation, I thought, which did not sift the evidence properly. There is no evidence of Ukrainian involvement in the assassination. In the first place, the Ukrainians would never take such a risk; especially since Trump supported the last bill to supply Ukraine, and they certainly would not have attempted to kill an American president with a half-baked individual who might talk. Analysis of events should follow basic common sense. The Ukrainians are good at what they do, and they do not really trust Biden or the CIA. It’s a very strange conclusion for an anti communist to take up Moscow’s disinformation narrative. Perhaps Cliff is tired of being outside the MAGA mainstream. I know that my readership fell off tremendously when I took a pro-Ukraine stance. It’s not easy to be sensible when all around you there are conspiracy theorists on the right that malign Ukraine. The problem of course, is that the war has always been ours. We are the main target. It is our dumb luck that Ukraine rose up to oppose Russian plans for Eastern Europe. God’s hand is in this. Laura: Yes, you may be right. We have shown that we are unwilling to support Ukraine when we see other allies threatened. Moscow has certainly noticed. And yes, all our allies are subject to pressure. Collapsing the whole might be done by applying selective pressure at the right time and place.
It is very typical of our pundits and “experts” of various kinds to present one-sided anlyses of strategic problems. Unfortunately, strategic problems require a wholistic approach. You have to have a correct general understanding of the Big Picture. To have that, you cannot be too much of an expert in one thing. One who is blind in the right eye cannot see navigational hazards on the starboard side.
I’m coming to think that the U.S. should support the country of Ukraine even more now that North Korean soldiers could be on their way there to fight for the neo-Soviet Union. It would seem that it’s about to get even more serious if that happens.
The conflict is becoming international with North Korean and Chinese units brought in. We are not just dealing with Russian aggression in Ukraine. A wider war is contemplated. This is obvious. The military unreadiness of NATO is inexcusable. A rational person could see all this coming for many years.

Birgit, your points were well taken, and I am aware that China has its way of assuring submission as Russia did after the war, but I’m wondering if either is or was as hermetically sealed as N. Korea is. Certainly, Kim Jong Un’s only safe recourse for survivors would be re-education camps.
