What is the swamp? In the 1950s, Senator Joseph McCarthy had a name for the swamp. He called it “the international communist conspiracy.” He spoke of the communist penetration of government, the subversion of U.S. policy, the betrayal of our servicemen on faraway battlefields. He pointed to communism’s nefarious domestic machinations. He wrote about our “retreat from victory,” the legacy of General George C. Marshall — the gifting of Eastern Europe to Stalin, the betrayal of Nationalist China to Mao, and the loss of our atom bomb monopoly.

A chronically misinformed (or disinformed) reading public is sure to dismiss McCarthy as a fear-monger. “There was no communist conspiracy,” say our mainstream pundits with a characteristic smirk. “McCarthy was engaged in a witch-hunt.” Meanwhile these same pundits have promoted a real witch-hunt. They employ tactics falsely attributed to McCarthy in their unprecedented campaign of slander against President Trump.

Who dares to notice that a reversal has taken place? Those who might be identified as communist infiltrators or “fellow travelers” now dominate the mainstream media, the commanding heights of counterintelligence, and the criminal justice system. It naturally follows that the witches are now leading the witch-hunts. The communists themselves, thinly disguised as mainstream liberals, threaten anticommunists with fabricated criminal charges and process crimes.

This is exactly what is unfolding, though nearly everyone refuses to see it. We are now reaping what we have sown. Long ago the left managed to convince the country that McCarthy was a demagogue and a liar, that fear of communism was irrational, that no such infiltration of the government had occurred, that the Rosenberg (atomic spies) were innocent, that communist spy Alger Hiss was innocent. And today, if you look at a typical high school history textbook, McCarthy is the villain.

Think now, friends. Who wrote those textbooks? Don’t you know? The communists took over education in this country, stealthily, patiently. This is why Johnny still can’t read. This is why we awake one day to find that America’s youth favor socialism over capitalism.

The communists have been taking over the country, bit by bit, little by little. Ask yourself why we built up communist China as an economic power. Why has our navy been shrinking? Why did we allow our nuclear deterrent to rot from old age? Why does the Democratic Party want to eradicate America’s national border?

None of this is accidental. The policies that are urged on us from the left are calculated to disarm and destroy us from within. Look around you. What do we find? Do you really think they want to reduce your carbon footprint to save the planet, or is it an attempt to sabotage capitalism? Do you think they really care about homosexual marriage, or do you think it’s a legal mechanism for persecuting the country’s anticommunist core? — Bible believing Cristians?

Do you think everything has been culturally aligned with communist goals on accident? If so, I have some swamp land to sell you. And it is full of swamp creatures.

  1. MacArthur knew the enemy and was disarmed for it. Ticker tape parade for him….my how times have changed. And yet arguably the last bastion of discernment, Evangelical Protestants, embrace and defend a Russia they haven’t researched.

Have you considered a one time YouTube video laying out the dialectics at hand? 15 minutes or so? Just you presenting the evidence without distraction, a declaration of sorts.

  2. The swamp is full of Communist Progressives, as well as Fascist Neocons. The Bill Of Rights, is under siege from all quarters, as the PatRiot Act and it’s near equally infringing, USA Freedom Act, illustrates.

  3. Amity Schlaes’ book “The Forgotten Man” brought it home very forcefully for me. I’d recommend it to all. Also, maybe more people should become familiar with Tomas Schuman’s work, “Love Letter to America”.

  4. Dear Americans,

My name is Tomas David Schuman. 1 am what you may call a
“defector” from the USSR, and 1 have a message for you: 1 love you
very much. I love all of you — liberals and conservatives, “decadent
capitalists” and “oppressed masses”, blacks and whites and browns
and yellows, rednecks and intellectuals. For me you are the people
who created a unique nation, country and society in the history of
mankind, — by no means a perfect one, but, let’s face it — the most
free, affluent and just in today’s world.

I am not alone in this love. People all over the Earth, whether they
praise America or bitterly criticize her, look upon you as the only
hope for mankind’s survival and the last stronghold of freedom.
Some may not think in these idealistic terms, but they certainly enjoy
the fruits of your civilization, often forgetting to be grateful for them.
Millions of people in the so-called “socialist camp” or in the “Third
World” literally owe their lives to America.

As a war-time child. 1 survived partly thanks to such “decadent
capitalist” (as the Soviets say) things as “Spam” meat, condensed
milk and egg powder that were supplied to my country by the USA
through the lend-lease program of World War II. In the Soviet
Union we secretly but proudly called ourselves “the Spam genera-
tion”. Too prosaic? Who cares about “Spam” in today’s USA, apart
from “underprivileged” welfare recipients? Well, for me these foods
are not merely the nostalgic delight of my troubled childhood, but
rather, a symbol of love from a friend when I was in need. No amount
of communist propaganda against America has ever been able to
convince me that the United States out to “colonze and exploit”. I
will tell you — many people have been more than willing to be
“exploited” the American way. For what other reason have
thousands risked their lives, gone to unimaginable troubles, left
behind their families their motherland and traditional ways of life to
come to America? Have you ever heard of “illegal aliens” risking
their lives crossing the border at midnight into Socialist USSR? Or
the “boat people” swimming oceans and drowning by the thousands
just to reach the shores of Communist China? Or defectors like me,
leaving behind relative affluence and risking bullets in the back in
order to join the “progressive workers paradise” in Russia? No, we all
come here to America, obviously willing to be “exploited by
capitalists” and enjoy “oppression” together with you. Because we
believe and KNOW — America IS A BETTER place.

1 am writing this not to please you with words you want to hear.

The rest of my message may be more unpleasant to you than even
Communist propaganda, or more offensive than the speeches of
“leaders” in Kremlin. But as a true friend of America, I want to help.

My dear friends, I think you are in big trouble. Whether you
believe it or not, YOU ARE AT WAR. And you may lose this war
very soon, together with all your affluence and freedoms, unless you
start defending yourselves. I hope you have noticed on your color
televisions that there is in fact war going on right now all over thi«
planet. This war has many faces, but it’s all the same — it’s war. Some
call it “national liberation”, some title it “class struggle” or “political
terrorism”. Others call it “anticolonialism” or “struggle for majority
rule”. Some even come up with such fancy names as “war of patriotic
forces” or “peace movement”. I call it World Communist
    Aggression.

1 know what 1 am talking about, because I was on the side of the
aggressor before I decided to take YOUR side. 1 do not believe — I
KNOW — that in this war no one is being “liberated, decolonised or
made equal”, as Soviet doctrine proclaims. You may notice, if you
give yourselves the trouble to observe, that the only “equality” and
“liberation” this war produces is the equality of death and the “libera-
tion” from freedom. Look at Russia, Poland, Hungary, Afghanistan
    — would you say the people of those countries celebrated and
rejoiced when the Soviets brought them equality and liberation? Of
course not. We must take a clear and honest look at what Soviet
    “liberation” actually means.

This war of Communist World Aggression is not fought against
some mythological “capitalists” as Communist propaganda claims.
No, my dear friends, this war is fought against YOU — personally.

Communist wars of world aggression are not fought for liberty
and equality. We have thousands of unequivocal examples of the
horrendous human suffering, torture and mass death that occur after
a Soviet “liberation”. The final stage of Communist aggression —
military confrontation — has very little to do with rivalry for territo-
rial or geopolitical gains in order to free and liberate. Communist
world aggression is a total war against humanity and human civiliza-
tion. In Communist propaganda terms, this is “the final struggle for
    the victory of Communism”.

The driving force of this war has very little to do with natural aspi-
rations of people for better lives and greater freedoms. If at all, these
aspirations are being used and taken advantage of by the manipula-
tors and progenitors of the war. The real driving force of this war of
aggression is IDEOLOGY — something you cannot eat, wear or
store for a “rainy day”. An integral part of this war of ideology is
IDEOLOGICAL SUBVERSION — the process of changing the
perception of reality in the minds of millions of peoples all over the
world. The late comrade Andropov, the former head of the Soviet
KGB called this war of Communist aggression, “the final struggle for
the MINDS and hearts of the people”.

The reason that 1 am so certain of the real goal of Communist
aggression is that 1 was actually a part and an unwilling instrument of
Soviet subversion tactics. Having been trained and used by the KGB
for their global ideological subversion campaign, 1 have some first-
hand knowledge about the people behind this war and the methods
they use. 1 know very well the way the Communists, whom the
Western media call “freedom fighters” and “rebels”, operate. 1 know
their mentality and their methods, 1 know their ultimate goals, which
are very far from the liberty, equality and freedom they verbally
espouse. Because I have seen the tragic consequences of this war of
ideological subversion, 1 would like to offer some suggestions as to
how we in the United States can DEFEND ourselves against this
deadly war and how we can SURVIVE in this “final struggle for
    minds and hearts”

“What’s in it for Tomas Schuman,” you may ask. Well, I’ve asked
myself. What do I get for defecting from the winning side (the
Soviets) … and joining the losers? (I hope 1 don’t have to tell you,
that at least a dozen countries have succumbed to the Communists
since my defection.) In reality, dear friends, 1 have gained nothing
materially from my defection. What 1 have gained is a firm commit-
ment to the United States as the last real frontier of freedom. This is
it, dear Americans, your country (and mine now) will be the last to be
“liberated” by Marxists, socialists, and domestic “do-gooders”. If the
“liberationists” succeed in bringing their “New Order” to America,
chances are you and I will meet in front of a firing squad — or worse
in a “re-education” forced labor camp in the Alaskan Peoples
    Democratic Republic.

You have too many concrete examples of what Communist “libe-
ration” has done for other countries to believe that 1 am wrong when
1 warn you that we are on the brink of disaster. From one that has
lived, worked and seen first-hand the realities of day to day life in a
communist/ socialist state — you must wake up now and start
defending the rights and freedoms you now have. No matter how
many problems you think the U.S. may have, believe me when 1 say
that they are nothing in comparison to the troubles you will
experience if the U.S. continues to agree and sympathize with
    communist/socialist doctrines.

I have made my choice to be with YOU, the nation I love. 1 have
risked my life like many others, to tell you of my life and experiences
within a Communist state. You have nothing to risk by listening to
me and making up your mind as to whether 1 am a “cold war para-
noic”, as your media calls me, or whether my message makes sense.
    The choice is yours.

Not sure if you have seen this interview on DW (Deutsche Welle) Television:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V9nNeO0yWyk

The Journalist doing the interview is Tim Sebastian. He is a Veteran Journalist/Media Reporter. The person interviewed is Joey Siu, one of the most well known student activists in the Hong Kong Student Movement, Hong Kong Independence Movement and Hong Kong Student Unions.

Some points and observations I would like to make regarding the interview as I believe Tim Sebastian has done a wonderful interview and asked very critical questions and the answers from Joey Siu does not satisfy Tim Sebastian.

Some points and observations I would like to make:

    1. The Hong Kong Student Movement including Hong Kong Student Unions is run by the Chinese Communist Party’s Ministry of State Security since it is tied to the Hong Kong Independence Movement which the Chinese Communist Party’s Ministry of State Security runs.

    2. The Leadership and activists in the Hong Kong Student Unions have been known to be working for the Chinese Communist Party’s Ministry of State Security.

    3. Joey Siu calling the Hong Kong Protest a ‘Leaderless’ Movement’ is seriously misleading. The Ministry of State Security is in control of both sides in Hong Kong, the situation is out of control.

    4. It is obvious Joey Siu has been rehearsed for the interview by the Ministry of State Security. She has been instructed in regards by Ministry of State Security Agents in regards what can be said in International Media like Deutsche Welle Television. I believe she has been given a script in regards to what she can say. This is not the first time the Ministry of State Security has done such things when their own assets are interviewed in international media.

    5. What it is troubling is that Joey Siu knows who (Ministry of State Security) is ordering the protesters to committ the violence and they have been instructed to violently beat their own movement members or supporters who disagree with their violent tactics. I believe she is a bit terrified of outing the Ministry of State Security on International Media as there could be consequences.

Jeff can I have your opinion regarding this?

  6. It’s absolutely hysterical how in every writing you post The Democratic Party has come to embody everything you perceive as evil and godless, while The Republican Party represents all that is good and holy. To you there is zero in between. There are no good Democrats — only mindless pawns of Communism. There are no bad Republicans — only misguided crusaders of righteousness (they’re only human after all). There is no future except the one defined by Global American Dominance (nuclear, naval, economic) which, despite currently dying a slow and painful death, has endowed your generation with so much unearned exceptionalism. I consider myself to be a rather pessimistic person but your Christian persecution complex paints the future (and present?) as a prison of daily misery for just about everyone (even the Bible believers) who aren’t devout in just the correct way.

If there is any rhetoric that will surely drive the anxious masses in America to justify turning against their own neighbors, it is yours.

    1. I have never written the things you ascribe to me. You have projected those ideas into what you read, because your opinions are preset. In my view the Republicans are not all that is good and holy. They are a nullity. And sometimes they are worse. It seems that everyone is a communist dupe now. Look at what the Republicans have done with regard to China. It is disgraceful. Only Trump has pushed them to defend the American worker. Not the labor unions, not the Democrats. Only Trump, with all his faults. So, as you see, my thinking is not as you characterize it at all. The problem with the Democratic Party is that it has been hijacked by its left wing. When I was young the communists tried to recruit me. That was how I learned about them, from firsthand. I attended meetings in which they described their plans. As told to me by communist organizers, the plan was to take over the Democratic Party through its left wing. If you examine the party carefully, I think you will agree that this has happened. In fact, many organizations in the U.S. have been taken over by the communists. As for global American dominance, I do not think America is culturally suited to such a role. The Russians and Chinese have a greater, unseen dominance which they want to convert into absolute global control. When they establish that outright control there will be a bloodbath. You and I will almost certainly be killed or suffer something much worse. I hope I am wrong, but if it begins to happen I think you will remember your words to me and my response. In the communist world the persecution of Christians has been very real. But Christians, in this regard, will not be the only people to suffer. Genuine freethinkers will suffer too. In the world of the communist future there will be no room for independent thought. As George Orwell wrote, it will be “a boot stomping on a human face, forever.”

      1. “You and I will almost certainly be killed or suffer something much worse.”

Your persecution complex has boiled to the point where you suspect being tortured and killed will be your (and my) likely future. How exactly is it me doing the projecting?

Making claims regarding your foundational beliefs is not projection, Jeff — it is my opinion, which is based on the things you have written. You have painted this picture of yourself for the world, not me. You have fleshed out your perceived enemy and the extent to which its tentacles grip our society, not me. The enemy you see is faceless and timeless, invisibly woven into all aspects of American life. In all practical sense your enemy has already won.

Your general use of the label “the communists” implies a secret society of unified revolutionaries who puppeteer free thinkers into doing their bidding. Because you attended some meetings with communist organizers decades ago, and some described their plans to take over the Democratic Party, you believe they have succeeded. Because large populations feel drawn to share the resources and wealth of the world now, instead of obtaining and hoarding it to gain personal power as in the past, you see any who question blind resignation to our Capitalist system as “the communists”. In other words you see regular people — everyday Americans who are susceptible to their compassion, passionate kids who find a purpose in social justice, malcontents who challenge the established understanding of sexuality — as the enemy. As “the communists”. In my opinion this skews your whole perspective of our country.

As for global American dominance, you say America is not suited for the role, yet you obviously dread the day it might end. It is the hypocrisy of the fence-sitter. “America shouldn’t dominate the world but reducing its navy/nuclear arsenal beyond global domination levels is unwise.” This is a non-opinion. America does dominate the world because of its military might. To retain the might is to retain the dominance. So in a sense you do actively promote the American dominance you also believe the country is not suited for. Don’t you see the stalemate here?

The only point I was trying to make is that if your enemy has already won, or is on the brink of victory, then those influenced by your words may believe it’s time to take action. And if some day they violently turn against their “communist” neighbors, you will have nudged them in that direction. Just letting you know.

  7. Jeff

Just an update, it seems this Hong Kong Provocation has recahed a whole new level, I have no doubt it is a controlled oppsition operation at this point

The Hong Kong Independence Movement now has supporters/international support or allies including:

Hong Kong Democratic Party (founded by Martin Lee, a known Communist Agent)
Socialist Hong Kong (https://chinaworker.info/en/) is also a Trotskyite Organization
    Demosisto
    Hong Kong IAD
    Communist Party USA
Stop Repression in Hong Kong (https://stophkrepression.net/)
    Antifa Hong Kong (https://www.facebook.com/antifa.hongkong/)

Antifa Hong Kong, Stop Repression in Hong Kong, Communist Party USA, Socialist Hong Kong accuses Xi Jinping of being a capitalist which is a joke

A lot of people in Hong Kong social media are saying the Hong Kong Protesters are in fact Antifa as well

Jeff can I have your opinion regarding this?

  8. China isn’t the leading evil. American consumers accede to slave prison labor and organ harvesting of political dissidents, along with unrestrained environmental pollution from burning coal for energy in producing those manufactured goods that Americans buy, thereby displacing jobs in the US.

Republicans are not for jobs, rather they are for cheap labor and manufacturing processes. Democrats and Republicans each covet China’s totalitarian rule, aiming to erase The Bill Of Rights from all consciousness.

The two party system is both sides of a double tailed coin. The majority of American consumers are conveniently in denial, proffering cheap products for themselves to buy at the cost of unemployment and homelessness for the ever increasing minority of US citizens.

    1. Homelessness in America is largely caused by illicit use of narcotics. It sounds to me like you’re saying China isn’t evil, but American consumers and political parties are. Let us reserve the question of evil for the moment. Let’s just agree that trading with China is a bad idea.

  9. Illicit use of drugs, including narcotics, is due to the CIA importing them to fund black ops and from the DEA granting import privileges to a single Mexican cartel as quid pro quo for informing on rival cartels. Legalization and availability of affordable over the counter drugs, has proven an effective alternative in the UK, to prohibition. Furthermore, homeless are living in caves in Silicone Valley, where those who gross less than $150,000.00 per year, are poverty level, and household incomes of half a mil are struggling.

Giving benefit of the doubt to Evil, is sympathy for the Devil.

  10. First of all, you don’t know who’s a heroin addict from who’s a common drunkard, from who’s been 86’d from public university for proving professors to be fraudulent, resulting in the correct student to having had their financial aid yanked.

From you response, you don’t take issue with the fact that the CIA and the DEA are the ones importing toxic chemicals for public consumption, and at artificially high prices. Even with legalization of the non toxic herb, Cannabis, the tax keeps the price exorbitant enough to provide protectionist measure for the black market to flourish.

Government wouldn’t want to hurt Emerald Triangle farmers, after all. Which begs the rhetorical question, ‘Why do you think they call it Weed, you dope?’ It’s supposed to be cheap and plentiful. Ironically, in California it’s legal for anyone who owns their own home or land to grow their own, but most tokers prefer the convenience of shopping retail.

If recreational psychoactive substances were legally available at market prices, they would be cheap, and profitable as the market corrects to accommodate producers as well as customers, but totalitarian mercantilism, prevails. The same applies if China were to meet US wage and environmental protection standards. Americans might have to pay much more for consumer goods and services, but wages would be adjust, or conversely, wages might be low, but prices would drop.

In the end, Chinese workers would make a living wage, and China would have a domestic market ten times greater than that of the US. China wouldn’t need to export. This is what I mean about China being enslaved to the American consumer. What does China do with all that money they make off American? They buy US Treasuries. China is totally, our bitch, and Americans are slave owners.

Of course making an enemy out of China keeps the CIA in business, and drug dealing funds covert operations that Congress wouldn’t approve and the voters would abhor.

The majority of Americans, same as most other people in the World, simply don’t have the where with all, to become software engineers or engineering management executives. Instead of doling out welfare, though, Congress ought to re institute the Homestead Act, and the BLM should quit killing wild horses, but Government prefers to round up people into the cities where they can’t live off the land, and so will be more pliable to bend over to the will of politicians.

  12. HOW THE CIA WATCHED OVER THE DESTRUCTION OF GARY WEBB
    Ryan Devereaux
    September 25 2014, 8:20 a.m.

Eighteen years after it was published, “Dark Alliance,” the San Jose Mercury News’s bombshell investigation into links between the cocaine trade, Nicaragua’s Contra rebels, and African American neighborhoods in California, remains one of the most explosive and controversial exposés in American journalism.

The 20,000-word series enraged black communities, prompted Congressional hearings, and became one of the first major national security stories in history to blow up online. It also sparked an aggressive backlash from the nation’s most powerful media outlets, which devoted considerable resources to discredit author Gary Webb’s reporting. Their efforts succeeded, costing Webb his career. On December 10, 2004, the journalist was found dead in his apartment, having ended his eight-year downfall with two .38-caliber bullets to the head.

    Story:

    1. In Terry Reed’s book “Compromised,” which was about the CIA/Contra supply operation, the story is told as follows: Israeli intelligence discovered that the head of the CIA supply pipeline to the Contras, Felix Rodriguez, was a double agent working for the KGB and moving drugs for President M. Noriega who was also a communist bloc double agent working for Castro. They were moving cocaine through the CIA pipeline, killing CIA assets who would not take the money and compromise themselves. It was part of a scheme to bring down Reagan — or seriously embarrass him. It was a hidden dimension of the famous Iran/Contra scandal of that day. In Reed’s account, Bill Clinton looms large as a dirty “red cocaine” asset. For a closer look at communist bloc cocaine trafficking, please read Joseph D. Douglass, Jr.’s book, Red Cocaine. Reed’s book is on Amazon — https://www.amazon.com/dp/1561712493/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_Uy0YDbKATVH20

  13. Then you are saying, Jeff, that President George Herbert Walker Bush, as Vice President of the United States, under President Ronald Reagan, was an asset of the KGB/FSB?

    1. There are serious concerns about Bush, who was very close to Felix Rodriguez. Many of the details are difficult to clarify. Was Bush blackmailed? How could that have worked? Certainly, there was a serious coverup and the public never learned the full truth. This is the problem we have when our own intelligence services are repeatedly penetrated by a foreign service.

    1. None of those details are as clear as the machinations surrounding the Contra resupply operation. Certainly, as with the Franklin coverup, there is a lot of dirt on a lot of people, and the smart money is on the KGB. They pioneered these kind of operations. We know this from extensive defector testimony. See Douglass’s Red Cocaine: — Red Cocaine: The Drugging of America https://www.amazon.com/dp/096266460X/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_DI0YDbG01P46K

  14. I’m flabbergasted. Now, see, if you hadn’t been prodded you might not have mentioned. Wasn’t Bush Sr implicated in the assassination of JFK? Was there a coup?

    1. There are some odd mentions of George Bush in relation to the JFK assassination. It is murky and there’s no telling what it means. Regarding Kennedy’s death, there are some disturbing KGB/DGI connections to USA organized crime and a very corrupt Vice President named Johnson (also connected to organized crime). Add to this Bobby Kennedy’s sudden interest in allegations that the CIA was seriously penetrated by the KGB, and Bobby’s reports to Jack about a KGB defector he was meeting with named Anatoliy Golitsyn. It was this latter figure who defected with information on a major assassination plot against a Western leader. Some historians have assumed the leader in question was Hugh Gaitskel, head of the British Labor Party. Perhaps the figure in question was actually JFK. Bobby Kennedy said some strange things about this afterward. His best friend later alleged that had he been elected in 1968 instead of assassinated by a communist named Sirhan Sirhan, World War 3 would have broken out sometime after inauguration. One may draw a logical conclusion from such statements — or not.

  15. Golitsyn met with RFK? I didn’t realize that. I got the impression that all he managed to do was get the attention of Congress, who seemed as if to shrug him off. No doubt that Bobby must have been steamed.

    1. There were serious problems at CIA back then. Allen Dulles led the agency into the Bay of Pigs fiasco, and there was something dark in his background — in his OSS days. A dirty deal, perhaps, with Walter Schellenberg in the closing days of the war? Did the Soviets know about the alleged Nazi gold? James Angleton has reason to later feared the worst.

  16. If so, then might that suggest that the CIA was intentionally established with a ‘back door?

Call me paranoid, but I’ve wondered if the DoD didn’t unleash the Internet on the public, in order to sideline broadcast journalism, and to be able to read over everyone’s shoulder?
